Troy Restaurant - Meze, Grill, Bar in Surrey Heath

I have past this place plenty of times and always thought I should nip in and try it, tonight was that night, I am down here for work so I was eating alone. The staff are very friendly and made me feel comfortable (it can be odd eating alone in some places). I had a variety of cold starter plates with bread, recommended by the waiter, it was very very nice and plenty of it. The main, I had a mix of lamb and chicken, with a garlic and chilli sauce (home made) the garlic sauce was amazing the chilli sauce was very nice. The lamb though, wow, just how I like it. I think when I go back it will be lamb with lamb.....the chicken was lovely. All in a great meal with nice staff, I will be going back.

I celebrated a friends birthday here last night we were a group of 8 ladies. We were all here a few months ago and had a very good time. Sadly this time some of the food was not as good as before. One friend ate very little of her meal and did complain and, to be fair, the restaurant removed it from the bill. I had chicken shish which was on the dry side and had an overpowering barbeque taste. The mediterranean salad was made up mainly of cucumber so was disappointing. My starter of halloumi came with small undressed leaves that were bunched up inside a hollowed out cucumber and there was no dip so the dish was dry. Overall the food was average. The porn star cocktails, I am pleased to say, were as good as before and the service was attentive.

It is always an amazing experience when you go to Troy’s. The staff are all so friendly and look after you so well through out. It is clean and well decorated, with a great atmosphere. I would like to say a massive thank you to our waitress Linet for really going g above and beyond to make it a great night with friends.

I have eaten at Troys several times and everything we have eaten has been delicious. Lunch time deal is bargain. Sharing platter is so tasty. Looking forward to our next visit

I have been to Turkey several times and always loved the food,therefore ,I have tried to find a restaurant with the same authentic tastes as I had experienced in Turkey. Well I’ve finally found it. The food is delicious, the service fantastic and really reasonable prices. The Sigara boregi is the best I have ever tasted ! I will be back.

Having been to various other local Turkish restaurants, this is by far the best! Food was perfectly cooked, we had the chicken shish and the mixed shish… Kids meals! Wow - talk about value great price at £6.50’ a meal & a drink! Portion sizes massive for our two kids.. quality of the fish fingers was great! Very attentive staff who do nothing but make you feel welcome and make sure your visit is nothing but a 10/10! Will definitely be going back here…

We booked Troy for a group of 10 friends who wanted to have a pre-Christmas get together. The food was excellent and the service spot on despite the fact that it was a busy Friday evening and the restaurant was full. There was a real buzz about it and we all enjoyed the evening.

Team night out, my team won a night out and picked Troy , very glad we did , excellent food and service , timings were great , service was attentive Been here many times and will always return and recommend 5⭐️

Since opening this Turkish restaurant has achieved local popularity. There were four of us for lunch which was quite substantial and varied. No one who goes hungry into Troy leaves Troy hungry. One gripe (which I should have taken up at the time but didn't): why is hot food served on to cold plates? At home all my plates are put in the oven shortly before I eat, keeping heat transference to a minimum. It does make a difference.

We had the most amazing meal and cocktails on Saturday night. 16th September. The food was perfect, and the staff were friendly, and very attentive. All round great night with friends.

Best meal out we have had for a very long while. Was my mums 60th and we stayed in a local hotel and decided to book Troy for dinner. The food was amazing. Would recommend the Meze sharing platter for starter. Service great. Would travel the hour to have dinner here again.

Impromptu visit for an early dinner in this Turkish restaurant in Camberley town centre. Service was very good. Nice clean restaurant but not many patrons unfortunately. Lamb casserole was full of flavour but meat could be more tender ideally. Kleftiko was melt in mouth tender but would benefit from more seasoning and flavour. Garlic Prawn starter was nice. Garlic mushrooms came in a kind of cheesy fondue sauce which was too rich to work as a starter (my mistake for not reading the menu properly). So nice enough meal and service but at £70 for meal for two I somehow wanted to be more impressed.

AWFUL we don't go out very often. This was for my Birthday, it was really busy being a Saturday, there was just me an my partner. Ended up having a pram at the end of our table!!! The food was terrible very little for the cost. I wrote to them via email and post but never heard back. WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TO MY ENEMY.

A last minute change of plan whilst staying nearby. Superb service, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent food reasonably priced. From our experience Turkish restaurants offer huge portions and lots of food is generally wasted - never good. However, the staff were very honest in terms of what the dishes were, sizes and suggested quantities for the two of us. What did we eat - a shared starter of falafel and hummus with a big bowl of bread - delicious. Main courses mixed chicken and lamb kebab with couscous and salad - really tasty and perfectly cooked. My wife had chicken with flavoured rice. No need for chips ! No room for desserts ! The staff were so helpful throughout and even gave us directions to where the taxi rank was - be careful of local taxis taking you the long way round (that is another story!). Highly recommended and if we lived local would certainly return.

Very impressed. The staff were superb and the food delicious. The decor is very nice and being a large restaurant you are not sat on top of one another. We hope this restaurant is a success as those working there deserve it. Looking forward to our next visit.
