Trinity Bar & Kitchen in East Riding of Yorkshire

We were looking for somewhere dog friendly for lunch after our visit to Wandahome in South Cave. The owners were really welcoming and it was nice and cosy inside on a cold day with the fires lit. As it was a Sunday we opted for the Sunday Roast. It was a tough choice though because the menu is fantastic! The drinks menu is equally as good as the food menu too. The food came out in good time and was one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time! We managed to squeeze in some deserts and can definitely recommend the chocolate brownie and the sticky toffee pudding. Service was excellent and our pup got lots of fuss too. If you’re in the area and are looking for great food and drink in a lovely atmosphere, then this is your place! You won’t be disappointed.

Decided to try this as we live in the village and its nice to go to a local place for a meal so everyone can have a drink with no driving needed. Very helpful staff on booking and attentive service all through the meal. Menu had ample choice for everyone, food was well cooked and tasty with good sized portions. Will definitely be going again!

Food was ok, basic service. Starters were more impressive than the mains. I had the Katsu Burger, essentially a chicken burger with a jug of Katsu sauce on the side. I would have expected the sauce to already be on the burger. Nice surroundings, staff pleasant enough.

After doing a long hike around South Cave we popped in for some well-deserved grub and we were blown away. We were welcomed by the lovely host and sat indoors of the quaint but beautifully decorated restaurant. After having a nose around we’d seen the gorgeous outdoors area and decided to appreciate the British sunshine. There is plenty of option on the menu from meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and those gluten free. I ordered the falafel and tzatziki flatbread which was refreshing and it came with delicious chunky chips and my partner, the Sunday roast, gammon and beef with lots and lots of trimmings. The portions were huge and the food was super tasty. Although we were simply stopping to refuel, we both agreed to come again. Thank you!

I came into trinity today for my lunch, just because I was popping into market place, I thought again I’d come in and try the cocktails and a Sunday roast. Because I’d already had some halloumi fries for my starter, I just wanted to have a smaller roast, to where the lovely staff ordered a children’s portion for me, but was so shocked to see how big the portion was! Definitely went home with a full belly afterwards! Could not recommend anymore!! Great value for money, great portion sizes and lovely welcoming environment and staff! Xxx

I have been to Trinity quite regularly with my partner and friends and we have never ever been disappointed with the service or the quality of the food. The environment is very chilled, and the decor is really pretty, both inside and out. Me and the girls LOVE to go in there for the cocktails, particularly the “Cherry Bakewell” and “Trinity Cooler”, but can’t lie and say we’ve not made our way through them all. Louise, Andy, Reece and the team go above and beyond to make sure that our drinks have always been topped up, and that we’ve been satisfied with everything whilst we have been there and gone home with a smile on our face. We have never left the place hungry, and the portion sizes of the food are incredible and it’s well worth the price you pay. The pizzas are fresh, thin and crispy (which is something we all like), fresh pasta dishes made on order, and a lot of lovely small plates available too. They have a great selection of spirits and wines, and a newly updated food menu which we look forward to trying!! The staff are really friendly, welcoming and attentive, and are always keen to have a conversation with you which is so nice when you’re coming in to a small village pub/restaurant where you might not know many people. With the 2 other pubs in the village, there is a lot of competition between the three, but Trinity Bar and Kitchen offer a wider range of products and a big difference in comparison. Lovely log fire in the front lounge, a big tv near the bar, space for a function upstairs, and a gorgeous beer garden. The only thing I could recommend is possibly having a few deals/offers on the small plates and doing 3 for a set price, and occasionally getting a singer in🎶 maybe a few bingo or quiz nights or something? Overall, cannot complain about the place, it’s lovely! Xx

We had a warm welcome and we’re seated next to the log burner. All our dishes arrived promptly and each was very tasty. The chicken club salad was a real meal. The lamb kofta was tasty. The pizza was enormous, definitely enough for two for lunch and the steak and ale pie was served with nice fresh vegetables. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a shame that there were so few customers.

Lovely evening of tapas and cocktails at Trinity. Superb friendly service and lovely food. Great portions of tasty food and lovely relaxing atmosphere. A much welcome addition to the village.

Amazing food and friendly service. One of our favourite places, love coming here. I'm vegetarian, and the menu is great, especially the veggie bolognese. Highly recommended.

After a day diving we went looking for somewhere to eat and came across this place. so happy we did. the food was amazing, freshly cooked and the staff couldn't have been any better. We had a wonderful evening celebrating our friend’s birthday. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was lovely. We were the last table in at closing and never made to feel rushed out.

Visited this evening with a friend, food was brill, service was fantastic and friendly and a lovely warm atmosphere ! Very rare nowadays to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes but Trinity certainly does. Highly recommend and already looking forward to a return visit.

Since the Bar / Restaurant has reopened, we have visited on a number of occasions. Most recently was last Wednesday evening (12th Dec) along with friends, and had an excellent evening including good food and drink. Well done Louise and staff, keep it up and i'm sure the business will do well.
