Order from here tonight for the order turn up to be wrong. Donna meat with chip ask it without garlic turn up with garlic and it turn up like this photo It was swimming it garlic Not very nice at all Won’t be ordering again

Just ordered 12" Hot Shot Pizza from Trimdon Fisheries. I'm a regular customer and a walking advertisement for how great their pizzas normally are. Unfortunately the cheese on this one was totally uncuttable, stringy, 'chewing gum' chewy and inedible. Upon taking it back my partner was told by the manager "there's nothing wrong with it, you saw me cook it fresh didn't you?" My partner said "No problem", then left and binned it outside. Goodbye!

Great fish and chip shop and delivery to my areas.

Just had cod from there .what can I say ,the chips had just came out then wrapped in paper so when I got home it's like a pile of mashed potatoes.tge batter is far to thick sorry won't be going back 😞

Ordered online,can within half hour,Just had the worst fish and chips ever,fish was rubber and tasteless,chips were the size of a boot and terribly dry,Curry thick lumpy,very expensive for food I could eat...never again!!!

I have only ordered a couple of times from here unfortunately this time we decided to order kebabs and a few extras,sadly so disappointed the mushrooms in batter were an inedible, wet mess, the food was 20 minutes late, the kebab meat was dry, 'crispy?' and stone cold, and the chilli sauce looked as if a tin of tomatoes had been liquidised and was watery with little chilli flavour and actually had an odd plastic flavour, unfortunately it ended up in the bin, absolutely a waste of £15, will not be ordering from here again, one hangry disappointed customer ! 😑

Absolute joke, the prices are ridiculous...£5.50 for for kebab meat and garlic, no extra garlic, small portion, please people go else where they take you eyes out when you compare to other place, feel robbed considering what we had last week from else where for much cheaper, used to be easy priced now it's just take take take!!!!

Standard fish and chip shop. About normal quality not the best in the are but they are far worse nearby.

Order from hear cpl times a week never a problem until tonight £15 for a hangover box hardly no kebab meat 3 small bits of chicken was mainly filled with chips ,think its time to go else wear

The batter was soggy the mushy peas were essentially just water and the order was incorrect and we had to go back to collect the remake

Used to come here once a week but food seems to have dropped in its standards. Also when get told to come and collect at a set time and when arrive at shop part of order still not been put in frier it's not good. End up waiting twice the time I'm told to wait for food and part of the order ends up cold. A pity as used to love coming here weekly.

Best fish in town. Never ever disappoints. Big fat white meaty fish. Always busy and the girls are great no matter how awkward the order is ☺️

Ordered 2 small fish and a large chips to collect. Was told 30 mins but on arrival still had to wait outside to be served then when got home found I'd been given 3 fish and no chips.....?

Just ordered food from here from the app wife collected it instead of a 10 inch bolognese we got a 12 inch garlic bread. Last time we got a 10inch instead of a 12inch time before that I got a kebab opened it no pita bread. The food is normally nice but the service is rubbish will not be going back again

Had a large cod. No chips.it was perfect. Fresh and hot. Enjoyed every mouthful. And It was huge 🤤

I had decided on going out to get some fish and chips for tea. Our local in Fishburn is OK but wanted to try a new spot. Headed to Trimdon at 4pm as Google said it was open but they changed opening hours so had to wait until 4.30pm. No probs, we were first in line to be served. We were met with a smile and got our order in nice and quick. Payment made and 9 mins later got 9ur 3x fish, 1 jumbo sausage and 2 bags of chips and a curry sauce. It came to a little under £20 so not the cheapest but once I opened the packages I was pleasantly surprised. We may have ended up buying large fish (didn't state what size ordering so, my bad) . They were wrapped well so when we got them home they were still super-warm! I used to live behind a chippy as I grew up and the smell of a fish shop always reminds me of being young. This was 30 years ago, and as soon as I took my first bite of fish and chips I was immediately brought back in time! You have to agree that these fish and chips simply taste like tradition in a bag. All those memories flooding back from a bit of food. Magic! I cannot fault the flavour, absolutely gorgeous. The fishes were cooked to perfection (the drive home made them a little soggy but no deals with that) and the chips were simply dope. You get a mix of big, little, crispy, thin, fat, short and long. To me this is perfect because you get a right choice of chip-style 😁. The curry sauce, finally was absolutely phenomenal. A time-honoured taste with a good punch preceded by a mango tang as it touches your tounge. Man you have to try it! 95p well spent! I will definitely be heading back through to Trimdon Fisheries to sample more of their menu. I noticed the do CREPES too! Maaan I'll be back soon. Just waited 2 hours for my family meal eventually turned up sat down to eat found a stone in the chips and I chipped a tooth then phoned up to thay then put phone down on me

Just been and ordered pattie and chips and a sausage . The pattie was raw the chips were cold and batter on the sausage was soggy .only noticed the 2 star food rating on the way out . Wont be going there again.

Just ordered Parmesans. They were the best I have tasted. It is made out of proper chicken not the processed stuff. Would highly recommend.

last night chips warmed up and greasy fish mush not fresh must be cooked from frozen also very greasy ,tasting grease all night ...awful dont order from this place

Only one star so I could comment,wife and me had a pattie today and it was the greasiest bit of food I've ever tasted and still tasting 5 hours later,never again

Dissappointed once again fish was over cooked batter was rock hard couldn't eat chips scrappy and forgot the garlic sauce with kids kebab meal , rang and they sent full new order out witch was all perfectly cooked and nice just a shame that my first order wasn't but over all second batch sent out was spot on
