We recently hosted our annual Christmas party and it was absolutely fantastic. Food and staff were amazing. Couldn't fault it.

12 of us went for one of their movie nights to see hocus pocus. It was excellent, there was a pre movie mini show and table service for drinks and food. It's a beautiful venue and the staff were very attentive. 2 screens were set up so everyone could see the movie. I would highly recommend their movie nights!!

Food disappointing. Bar person rude and not accommodating. Service staff slow to clear used plates from tables. Following disappointing fingers, later in the evening served dry chip butties (fries and dry buns) with no condiments or butter.

This is a lovely place with some lovely food and excellent drinks menu. Fresh and good choices, well presented food. Desert especially good. Didn't disappoint. Very enjoyable

We booked a table at The Treehouse for the evening of Friday 23 July. On arrival we gave our name to the person at the ground floor entrance and he told us to head on upstairs. By the time we got to the main entrance we were greated by a lovely waitress (we think her name was either Marie in Maria?) She showed us to our table and genuinely could not have been more helpful, not just when we were ordering drinks on arrival, but throughout the night while we ordered various things from the menu (highly recommend the charcuterie board btw!) Previous to our arrival at The Treehouse we'd been at another local bar/restaurant and the difference in staff and atmosphere was like night and day. The Treehouse staff were helpful and hands on, in that they physically took our orders for drinks and food - something that we very much appreciated. NB Bar/restaurant owners need to understand that these types of interactions all add towards customers having a great nite out! (The venue we visited before The Treehouse would not serve us - everything had to be ordered/paid for through a QR reader and it was a soulless experience - we will never go back!) Ten out of ten to all the staff working in The Treehouse on Saturday night - the service was fab! And the food and booze were great too. I'd highly recommend booking a table and visiting - the venue is also stunning 😍

Just recently had an amazing dinner in this beautiful restaurant. Both the service and the food were very good. The cocktail (aperol spritz) I ordered was disappointing as there was little/ no taste of alcohol and just a strong taste of soda water. However, the amazing food, service and decor would make me want to come again!

Absolutely terrible experience. Booked weeks in advance for my partners birthday, to be emailed on the day that our booking was cancelled as they are not open Mondays?!? Rescheduled for Wednesday with no apology offered- really poor form!! Luckily we were in Belfast for the week as we had travelled up from Waterford. Arrived on Wednesday and there is no signs for the treehouse at all. Walked up some stairs with filthy red carpets wondering were we in the right place. The Waiting staff of two girls were absolutely lovely (about the only positive) The atmosphere was genuinely shocking. There was a hen party on the table across from us who were very visibly upset with their service and behind us was an extremely drunk couple who kept falling off their chairs. The food and drinks are really overpriced for what they are- avoid the duck!! Avoid the treehouse full stop!!

Arrived for a few drinks to be told that we had to order a meal, this was not communicated beforehand in any way. There was also a delay of 40 minutes in getting us seated, then at least a 45 min delay between drinks order and receiving them. Food was ok but poor service. Gave them another chance a few weeks later and was the same story with long delays between drinks orders and getting them wrong. Understand that staff were busy, but it should not take 45 mins to get a drink, only for it to be the wrong one!

My boyfriend and I were in Belfast for 3 days and had a few places booked for our stay. We had booked the treehouse weeks in advance and paid the £20 deposit to reserve the table. We arrived all dressed up and excited for our night in the Treehouse, but when we got there it was closed. We didn’t receive any phone call or email telling us they weren’t opening that night and were turned away from lots of other restaurants as they were full up. I got the £20 deposit back and an apology, but I feel like this treatment was completely unacceptable and it really ruined our night.

I visited here with some friends last week after hearing good things and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing, staff were lovely and there was such a nice atmosphere too. Would definitely recommend :)

I went for dinner on a weeknight, I thought the atmosphere and decor was lovely, we were seated at a really nice table that did have blankets and I think there were heaters but thankfully we didn’t have to use them. The staff serving us were really lovely, very attentive and kind, I can’t remember names but they were an absolute asset to the restaurant. The cocktails were very nice and freshly made, somewhat pricey but definitely worth it. The food was so good, we had the duck and the daube of beef and it was absolutely flawless. The only downside was our dessert, which wasn’t prepared correctly so the texture was absolutely off but the waiter handled it perfectly and very kindly took it off the bill, the other dessert my friend had dead excellent though so clearly just a one time error. Overall I would recommend, I imagine it will be an even lovelier location in summer

Visited on a lovely Sunday afternoon, there was a nice atmosphere and my and my partner were seated on a nice table that caught a little bit of sun, it was also close enough to a heater if the weather had a slight turn. I ordered mussels as a starter and as soon as they arrived they had quite a strong smell. I tried a couple of mussels but couldn't bring myself to eat anymore. They had an off taste that was really overpowering. I love mussels normally but could not stomach these. I told the waitress and she did not seem interested at all. She insisted that they were fresh and did not offer to remove from the bill or any other alternative. I only ate four mussels from the bowl as I was giving them a chance but couldn't stomach more than this. The rest of the food was quite nice but the lack of service and the mussels left a nasty taste in my mouth.

OMGGGGGGG!! I had the crispy beef starter and was raging I didn't have it as a main, IT WAS DELISH!!! I would recommend this spot as it is firstly such a cool experience, drinks were reasonably priced and the food wasn't expensive. We had a nice young waiter who looked after us and we left very happy. We would return.

Came in here recently on Saturday Night with the wife And our friends! We had a waiter by the name of Carter. Now we eat out a lot and we normally go to Ampm or other places but we decided to go to Treehouse for a change. Now from the moment we came in we got a waiter who had a mask on but no matter when he served us we could always tell he was smiling through it. We sat on the yellow sofa near the bar! He was just amazing with us and he was just amazing with recommendations and kept recommending different drinks to us! Every single drink we got from him was just tasty and beautiful. He was full of life and full of admiration! He was also informing us about the Cabaret show which we’ve never been too! We have booked again for Christmas in cabaret and can’t wait to go back! thanks for making us feel special! Lots of love Andy And Michelle! x

Rang the treehouse on our first night in Belfast and reserved a table for 4 at 7pm, arrived half an hour early and were allowed to sit downstairs for cocktails....good cocktails and downstairs bar but things went downhill as soon as we went upstairs....we spoke to the server and were told our name wasn’t on his list....turns out they had organised a movie night that we were not told about on the phone earlier the same afternoon left hungry and disappointed....poor staff in general would not book if your looking for a seamless and comfortable dining experience

Mis amigos y yo disfrutamos de una tarde en la casa del árbol almorzando y bebiendo. El sol brillaba y no estaban en ningún lugar más agradable en el que podríamos haber estado. La hermosa decoración de árboles y plantas crea un gran telón de fondo para una agradable tarde reuniéndose con amigos después del encierro en un entorno seguro. Esta es una excelente ubicación ya que está al aire libre. El personal fue como siempre muy amable y servicial. Volveremos todos de nuevo.

Mi novio y yo reservamos una mesa en AMPM, pero cuando llegamos no pudieron encontrar nuestra reserva, así que nos dirigieron arriba a la cena de Treehouse por alguna razón y sin explicación.Las primeras impresiones no fueron muy buenas. La señora que nos saludó no era amable y parecía molesta porque nos habíamos presentado. Éramos los únicos en el lugar, pero ella nos sentó en una mesa que estaba casi debajo de una mesa más grande que se elevaba sobre nosotros, nuestra mesa ya era pequeña, por lo que esto la hizo sentir aún más pequeña y muy apretada.La música estaba demasiado alta y era la música que esperarías escuchar en un bar, no en un restaurante. El restaurante estaba frío y sin calefacción, pero cuando lo mencionamos nos encendieron la calefacción.Mi novio tomó el ASIAN CHILLI BEEF como entrante y fue agradable. Conseguí el DUCK LIVER PARFAIT, que estaba bien, pero solo tenía dos pequeñas rebanadas de pan crujiente, así que terminé teniendo que comer cucharadas de parfait solo porque no había suficiente pan para acompañarlo. Los platos principales estaban deliciosos. Conseguí el DAUBE OF BEEF que era encantador y mi novio consiguió el BOHEMIAN BURGER que disfrutó.En general, la comida es buena pero cara, algunos miembros del personal no son amables y el ambiente no era bueno.

Fui a ver que es una vida maravillosa esta noche y tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante. No volveremos. Aprecio que el entorno sea una experiencia externa y estaba bien preparado para esto, pero no fue ayudado por el hecho de que la puerta principal estaba defectuosa y no se cerró correctamente y también por el hecho de que el personal no hizo ningún esfuerzo para cerrar detrás de ellos cuando lo atravesaron. Nos fuimos después de una hora como algunos otros. Esta podría haber sido una buena experiencia, pero desafortunadamente no.

Fui aquí el lunes por la noche como un pequeño regalo de Halloween para mí y me encantó. Llegamos a las 7 de la tarde y fuimos recibidos por un personal amable en el ambiente de Halloween y una bruja es muy divertida. Llevándonos a nuestras mesas en frente de la habitación al lado de los calentadores calientes, subimos al bar y conseguimos un hermoso vaso de sidra caliente para comenzar. El camarero nos trajo un gran plato de combo de pollo y papas fritas bohemio deslizante delicioso, luego nos dieron nuestras palomitas de maíz en el bar realmente sabrosa, fue un gran giro. Tomé asientos para la película y debo decir que fue mejor que la mayoría de las noches de regreso pronto

Lamentablemente, no fue tan buena como la experiencia podría haber sido. La comida vegana debía servirse con arroz, que en este caso era apenas un tenedor lleno de arroz. Antes de dejar la comida, el camarero dijo que vendría más arroz, lo que por supuesto no sucedió. La comida regular también fue decepcionante, una pequeña hamburguesa quemada, algunas patatas fritas poco cocidas, con dos tiras de pollo pequeñas y salsa. Las sillas eran incómodas, y la mesa para colocar comida / bebida era inestable y se mecía cuando colocaba algo sobre ella. Los baños masculinos estaban cerrados, y el único baño disponible no tenía jabón para lavarse las manos. Hacía bastante frío, lo cual es totalmente esperado, pero parecía que algunas mesas tenían mantas y otras no, ¿o tal vez estábamos destinados a traer nuestra cama? No estoy seguro. El audio era bastante pobre, bastante ruidoso pero de muy baja calidad. A la mitad de la película, el cabaret a continuación debe haber comenzado, ya que podíamos escuchar la música debajo de nosotros sobre el audio de la película. Was here for a night out with about 50-60 friends to celebrate. We all thought it was a great venue, lovely aesthetics etc. Food was served as we all thought it tasted great. Fast forward 24 hours and the majority of our group of 60ish people were throwing up and experiencing the same symptoms of nausea, aches, vomiting etc for 2-3 days. As none of us work in the same place or even live near each other, it became quite obvious that we had all been struck down with the same food poisoning from this restaurant. On phoning the restaurant, staff were defensive and abrupt, refusing to take responsibility. The City Council is investigating.

Had booked this as a nice night out for my friends 40th birthday. Had never been but thought the mama Mia movie night sounded good. Thourougly disappointed and quite frankly embarrassed that I had booked and brought my friends to such a venue. Staff attitude was very poor. The quantity and quality of minuscule (cold) burger and pathetically presented, very ‘mini’, bruschetta also poor. From the dirty red carpet going up the stairs, to the toilets being littered in toilet paper the whole venue left a lot to be desired. For £15 per person expected much much more. My advice would be to stay well clear

Attended a movie night here with some friends. I wouldn't rush back or recommend.The seats are just dinning chairs so get uncomfortable after a while. The layout really means luck of the draw. They literally stick a DVD on a TV on the wall and also project it onto another wall. We could see the projection screen ok (although the projection meant you lost the top of the screen so some scenes were neck down) but others would definitely have had problems even seeing this.The venue was freezing. Most people sat with coats on while watching the movie. There were a few heaters on tables but these were tables that would have had terrible views. There is a movable roof that was closed but I was glad it wasn't raining as it just looked like it would leak.The food included was a joke. I didn't eat it. A small cold burger that was pink in the middle and an inch sized piece of bread with an undetermined brown substance with a slice of cheddar. They honestly would have been better serving nothing. Popcorn was available for £3It's really a scam to charge £15 for this. I didn't actually pay as there was a spare ticket and they didn't want the money but even was disappointed with a free night so I'm sure those who paid felt robbed.

Went for dinner here when staying in Belfast. It was a lovely setting, very cosy for couples. The tapas style food was great and very resonable with good offers available so would do well to ask a member of staff. The cocktails were very good and the staff really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this place for a bite to eat and a few cheeky cocktails :)

Stopped by this place for a couple glasses of wine one sunny afternoon before getting back on a cruise ship. Like the atmosphere and that they had free wifi, good service too. I would revisit, just a comfortable place to enjoy at the end of the day.

When we originally booked New Years Eve at the treehouse it was supposed to be Buffett style tapas, it was not, it was more like a bit of party food served to us on a plate, it was a very small amount, when I asked could we possibly get a few chips on the side as extra, the waitress replied I'm sure you could and then never came back.

My friend suggested going out for a girly movie night and couldnt of beat the cosy atmosphere with fire heaters, blankets and scrumptious food.

Mis amigos y yo estuvimos en el cine esta noche. Significa chicas Costo de £10 para la película y tapas. Lo que nos dieron era comida fría secos pollo y una película que debía comenzar a las 9:00 pero después de más de 4 intentos para jugar en realidad no comienza hasta cerca de las 10:00 pm. No nos ofrecieron ningún mantas de hecho el único miembro del personal que no habla con era el tipo llevando nuestra comida. En general, quedé muy decepcionado ya que había oído un montón de cosas buenas. Tienen una pantalla de plástico separando la zona de fumadores fuera que puede ser si su mesa es olía en el otro lado, que fue la nuestra. Algunas de las sillas estaban con su espalda a la pantalla, los asientos son incómodos. Yo más bien había estado en casa con una botella de vino y comida para llevar. Eso habría sido relación calidad-precio. Lo siento no volveré.

Entradas reservadas vip para este evento. Me dijeron de cine comenzó a las 9:00 p.m., así que llegamos a las 8. 15:00 h. Nos recibieron con nuestro fsm que incluido en el paquete. Precioso interior, velas por todos lados, pero demasiadas mesas que me pueden agregar estaban quebradas, así que estaba preocupado con las velas en la mesa. Poco espacio para moverse. Con VIP supuse que conseguir ASIENTOS ESPECIALES NO, sentados en cualquier lugar y luego se dieron tan incómodo con estar tanto tiempo. La comida era trajo alrededor de 9. 15 y película no venga hasta cerca de las 10 pm y cuando no vengan en la pantalla cerca del bar donde estábamos sentados era tan malo completamente oscura y sin objetivos claros. No intentar arreglarlo varias veces y fuimos completamente en uno en el escenario. Pocas personas alrededor de nosotros también se quejaban/gemido y unos cuantos antes de película. Sólo estaba un poco de caos y no volver a pasar otra noche de cine. No vale la pena el dinero! ! !

Última noche mi novia me regaló la noche dirty dancing en el tejado, y me alegro de que no estaba en el otro camino, ya que me he sentido horrible defraudéis con una sorpresa así.

Really nice and unique place. Pity about the horrible bar boy with the long hair who rolled his eyes like he was having a stroke and stole change out of my girlfriends hand for his own tip

Vine aquí para tomar una bebida en el sol y terminamos quedándonos todo el día, sinceramente no puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente. Los cócteles eran sublimes y los aperitivos que tenían en oferta. El personal no podría haber hecho lo suficiente para nosotros. Me sentí como en la soleada España para el día.

i visited the treehouse on Saturday afternoon loved it. It was my first time here and what a find it was I liked how someone explains the process of ordering at the bar we opted for the small plates between the two of us and few pimms pitchers if it wasn't for the accents surrounding us you would have thought we where in a European city the service was excellent I don't manage to get the little blond girls name but will defiantly be returning soon

Had a great time here with my friends at the weekend! Really enjoyed the food and the cocktails were wonderful and not expensive. Lovely atmosphere in the centre of Belfast, can not wait for our return.

Casa del Árbol parece estupendo desde el exterior. El tiempo era genial y la oportunidad de sentarse en el sol los cócteles era muy tentadora. Al entrar en el edificio encontramos una escalera muy oscuro y sombrío. El personal no era muy amable y dijeron a sentarse donde quiera. Tuvimos un cóctel y pedimos una ración de compartir. A la llegada del "compartir" consistía en un plato plato de aceitunas, 3, 1 grren tapenades pimienta 1 pimiento rojo y porción pepperoni (creo que era) 2 triángulos de pan. Preguntamos si plato dado ya no era suficiente para compartir y no lo suficiente para el pan abundante tapenades. Nos dijeron que era un plato para "uno". Confundirse para decir lo menos. Claramente, no como plato "compartir" después de un rato la camarera de mala gana, nos dio otra 4 pan. Los cócteles eran sabrosos en el lado positivo. Al salir de la escalera oscura delante de nosotros y artesanales se tradujo en mi hermana que falta el último escalón y cayendo. Entonces nos dimos cuenta de que tenía que desnudar blanca. Señal de distancia y claramente claramente allí como M supusimos que era cosa común. Me encanta Belfast y después de años de ir y triste decir que este es el primer lugar que encontré gente antipática y poco acogedora. Sin duda no te recomendar a cualquiera

Had a Groupon deal for 2martinis and a sharing platter, I went on my own ax the person I was supposed to go with wasn't well. I was presented with 2 martinis, then I was given the sharing platter. What can I say, if this was a sharing platter for 2 they must have meant 2 mice! It wax an extremely small portion. On leaving the restaurant I went from bright sunshine to virtual darkness and needed to navigate stairs. I very carefully navigated the fisprst set of stairs but on the second set on the last stair was some red and white tape, thinking this indicated the landing I then realised it wasn't and proceeded to fall as this was the final step but not the landing, I twisted my ankle but got up and walk away, further down the road I realised I had lost my glasses in the fall, I went back to the restaurant to see if they had been handed in. I met a guy as I walked in, I asked if anyone had handed them in, I showed him where it happened and also mentioned that I had fallen he looked around and said no glasses here, I actually had to ask him to go and check if anyone had handed them in, I eventually found them on a counter in the doorway. Not only did he have to be prompted to go and check for the glasses he also failed to ask if I was OK after my fall. Overall very disappointing.

Horrific restaurant. Horrific service. Highly recommend you go to a place that has a vague notion of the definition of good customer service.Booked a Groupon deal as part of my mother's birthday present so we decided to use it up in May 2017. Made a reservation at 4pm on a Friday. No problems. Bear in mind the website states that The Treehouse is open from 1pm - 1am on Friday's. We arrived early at 3.15pm and enquired if we could go in early only to be told it didn't open until 4pm. Ok, no problem. We had a few drinks in the restaurant and waited until 4pm. Two other women were also waiting for it to open. We enquired at 4.10pm. No one had a clue. Kept saying they would find out. The two women gave up and left at 4.15pm.I am very patient, unlike my mother. By 4.30pm, and many enquires later, even I was disgusted and just wanted out of there. I didn't even care about the worth of the voucher. However, during this half hour wait, a woman enquired to what appeared to be the very arrogant manager about hiring The Treehouse for a 70 person event. He took her straight up there to look at it (this seemed to be a theme. all they cared about was money and not customer service. it's as if they hadn't realised that the only way to bring customers in is if customer service is at least half-decent). As I said, by 4.30pm, I was fed up. At 4.20pm, when Mum enquired again, a server asked the manager and he said, "they're doing a job for me upstairs". No regard whatsoever for current customers with a reservation. As I got to leave at 4.35pm, Mum noticed that the doors to the stairs of The Treehouse were open, so I reluctantly went upstairs with her. She told the server our situation who did not apologise, did not seem to care and told us to pick a table. The male server seemed to have at least a little more customer service training than the rest as he seemed to surprised to hear that we were not offered drinks during our wait at the bar. He told us that they were busy cleaning up the pigeon droppings from the night before. However, surely this is a daily occurrence they are used to? Anyway, this was 4.35pm. Before he could even serve us he told us he had a few more things to do. Mum, once again, explained the situation and by this point I just wanted out of there. Was feeling disgusted. Our food and drinks eventually arrived at 4.55pm. Drinks weren't great. Food was bland, stale. Felt like they had just taken it out of the fridge from the day before. Ate quickly and left quickly. (Sidenote: it also started raining. Surely they have a roof or something? What if there was a party and everyone got covered in heavy rain? I'm sure there was some sort of shelter but they were completely disinterested in the fact that we, and our food, were getting wet.) Utterly disgusted. Straight after, we went over to a well-known restaurant and were astounded by the fantastic, attentive, friendly customer service and high-quality food received. It was the only thing that saved the day. Can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that I or my family will never be back to The Treehouse or AM:PM. Had a more positive experience of AM:PM previously, however, this experience has ruined the whole thing. This wasn't just a spur of the moment food choice. This wasn't just a Groupon voucher. It was a present for my mother's birthday. I wanted us to have a nice day. There's a reason other reviews have been very similar. Staff need trained in customer service; management need replaced. The place has potential, as the decor is stunning, if it was run and staffed properly. Do not waste your time or money here. There are many other restaurants in the area that are much more deserving of these two things.

We booked the Treehouse based on a previous experience my girlfriend and her friend had a few months back. They had a great night in a fantastic venue and thought the atmosphere was superb. We booked again to celebrate two birthdays and a new art collection that my girlfriend had just released, so it was an important night and everyone was looking forward to it……however we all came away very disappointed! When we booked we were given two options…..a sit down meal or the drinks reception and tapas idea, which sounded appealing, so we went for that at £15 per head. After checking the website the small plates seemed very appealing and we were genuinely looking forward to the food. However when it arrived I was embarrassed. The food tasted fine but nothing we were served was on your menu, we had small sliders, crostini’s, cocktail sausages, breadsticks and chips. I have been to a few venues around Belfast and had similar tapa’s type experiences and this was by far the worst. It felt like we were provided with the least food as possible and cheap alternatives to make the most profit on. We were also sat along the back row in two tables, which normally I would have been fine with, however the food came out on one platter and was set in the middle of the large high table and we all had to go serve ourselves like a buffet. Again, if the place had of been busy I may have overlooked that but the fact we were the only people in the place, surely there could have been a better way to do this. Could we not have been set up differently so nobody had to get up? Also because we were the only people in the place, there was a serious lack of atmosphere. I was very surprised that at that time on a Saturday night we were the only one’s there and it felt a little awkward. The choice of music didn’t help, so the young guy was asked to change it up…which in fairness wasn’t any better….then when I suggested a few particular genre’s to help, we spent most of the time either listening to YouTube adverts or the sound of a clicking iPod wheel scrolling through! When we did get some decent music on, half way through on came the wheel clicker again. I know it isn’t a jukebox and we appreciated the fact that they tried…..but frankly we shouldn’t have to ask 3 or 4 times to change it, the atmosphere of the place is your domain, not ours. The bar service wasn’t great either as we spent the first 10 minutes working out what was in stock as the first 4 or 5 requests were met with a very dour girl stating…’No we don’t have any of that left’ and we weren’t asking for anything to off the beaten track. Things like Malibu or Hendricks are surely staples for bars in Belfast I would have thought. Things got worse, when a rogue pigeon got in, unnoticed by staff despite half our party ducking out of the way several times, for it to defecate over two people. Needless to say this was the final straw and I went to settle the bill. While we were planning to leave anyway, before I even mentioned leaving, we were asked did we want a recommendation as to where to go next! It felt like we were being asked to leave and not welcome. While I did state we were moving on, I was quite surprised that the two floors beneath us were not offered as a recommendation. Perhaps they were busy enough, but this all left a very sour taste in my mouth. Frankly I am very disappointed. What set out as a great celebration turned into a very poor night due to lack of food, lack of atmosphere and a feeling we were to be rushed out the door. If asked by anyone would I recommend the Treehouse or AM:PM, my answer would be a very solid No. I have tried to be fair where I could in my evaluation of our evening, but honestly it was embarrassing and upsetting for my girlfriend considering the importance of the night.What makes matters worse is that I've asked for an explanation directly from The Treehouse and on all occasions have been ignored.

The way the bar/restaurant is set out is beautiful and very different. Cocktails were very good and the usual inner city belfast price of around 8 to 9 pounds. I would suggest the management sort out or make you aware if it is table service or bar as we had a girl serve is at our table then we're told shortly after it was bar service and we had to go up.

Great night with AMAZING customer service from Niamh who was friendly, funny and genuinely a nice girl!! Will most definitely come back just to receive more of her service and to get a laugh! Wonderful night! Thanks!

I keep giving this place chance after chance as the food and cocktails have been good in the past even though the service is never up to scratch.We decided to try the rooftop garden.. big mistake. No table service, drinks orders at the bar that took forever as the queue was 10 deep with just 2 staff to cover the bar... not to mention at £5 a pint it's really not worth it. The tapas food is some of worst I've ever tasted, under cooked squid and rubber chicken. Sad as the place has such potential but never gets it right.

I purchased a Groupon deal for the Tree House which consisted of a Bohemian Burger and Fries for 2 people. I booked in advance to arrive at 6.30 pm. When I did so I was asked immediately for my voucher. I stated I would hand this over when seated, which I did. We waited a full hour whereupon I called the guy over to our table to ask what the delay was. He said it was very busy in the restaurants and I explained that it wasnt a 3 course meal we were waiting on just 2 burgers and fries. I asked how much later we would have to wait and he stated 15 minutes. I must also state that I saw others in this restaurant getting served who arrived in after us. I table I noted wasnt availing of a Groupon offer. Where we being treated differently because of this? One wonders. I stupidly allowed for another 15 mins to pass and called the same guy over again as there was no sign whatsoever of our burgers arriving. He stated yet again kitchen was busy and I refused to wait any longer, gave off profusely and proceeded to leave the premises, both very hungry and angry. Also it can be chilly in this restaurant as for it being open air and they have gas heat lamps around which you need to sit close to to keep warm. Ours had ran out of gas, so by now we were also freezing as well as angry and hungry. I asked for the manager and it turned out this guy stated he was the manager. He offered me to come back another time but this wasnt good enough I wanted the food when I came in at 6.30 pm. He advised me he would have a lady ring me later than night which didnt happen. This was a Saturday. I gave it until Tuesday and still no phone call so I phoned and aired my disappointment and also the further outlay I had of £60 to get a meal after leaving these premises at a rather lovely restaurant I may add Solo Belfast,who had a main meal served to me within 20 mins with very courteous staff and superb food and ambience. Will never be back near these premises. If they can't get a burger and fries served in an hour and a half what hope would you have for a meal like we did receive in Solo.

My partner and I wanted to do something romantic and a bit different for Valentine's Day. We stumbled upon the Treehouse's movie night which included 2 back to back romantic movies (Sleepless in Seattle and You've got mail), tapas and a drink on arrival. I'm happy to say that we were greeted warmly on arrival and the waiter immediately took our drinks order and explained the schedule for the night. We were then provided with 2 cost blankets. We were pleasantly surprised by how warm and cosy it was! The Treehouse is absolutely beautiful with super romantic, magical decor, which made for a really lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed the movies and liked that there was an option to buy popcorn :) the food wasn't anything special but overall I felt the very romantic, different experience was definitely worth the money! We had a lovely date night and hope to return some day.

I think what makes this place extra special is the warm atmosphere and the decor of the place, its just enjoyable to be in. We had lots of nibbles so tried quite a few different things off the menu and all were great. Also had a few cocktails, the espresso martini was beaut, and the others were top notch too. Service isn't bad, took a while to pay at the bar but it was just before Christmas and was very busy so this is understandable. Lovely spot and would definitely go back!

Had our work Christmas party here and it was great. If you're looking for somewhere a bit different, I'd highly recommend it. The venue is lovely, from the large cherry blossom tree in the centre, to the twinkly fairy lights in abundance and the table settings. For a private party, it's perfectly self-contained with its own bar, toilets and roof terrace for the smokers or anybody just wanting some air. Our party was about 80 people and this was the perfect size for us. We had been warned that it could be chilly as it is only heated with patio heaters, but it was actually nice and warm. We were greeted with hot mulled cider on arrival (really good) and the dinner was really tasty and nicely presented. The staff were great too - big thanks to Rosalind who organised the booking and arrangements for us. Would definitely use this venue again and would recommend to others - great for a private party, wedding party etc.

We had a romantic sharing platter and cocktails here.The treehouse at am pm is beautiful blankets, candles, fairy lights and heaters.We had a fabulous antipasti sharing platter and always great cocktails very friendly staff.Only 1 complaint we would have had more cocktails but the staff were no where to be found.Very much worth a visit.

My husband and I held an evening wedding party at the Treehouse, following our wedding in Croatia, and I have to say we had an amazing party here. The staff on the evening were really attentive and on hand to help with anything we needed (management please pass on our thanks). The food was really tasty and as a venue it's just gorgeous with lots of fairy lights and candelabras which make for some very idyllic pictures. I would totally recommend this venue for anyone wishing to hold private parties here. Many thanks to all for making this a very special evening for us all.

Love the decor, the outdoor roof, the service, everything. My favourite beer garden in Belfast. The price is decent, lovely in summer & winter. Plus, they put events on like showing movies etc.

Booked for a group of friends. 16 or so in total. The idea of starters and mains confused the kitchen, mains arrived before starters and were sent back. Starters arrived and portion size was tiny, not enough to share as suggested by staff. The gap between starter and main was then over an hour. When the mains arrived most were cold, the chicken fried until it was actually solid. The mussels that come with bread, expect 1 bite size slice also a couple of people ordered large portions of muscles which came in identical bowls to the small portions and had roughly the same amount of food. I can't fault the waiting staff they kept on top of the drinks orders but the kitchen was horrific. The quality and quantity of the food was terrible. Worth noting there was only 2 other tables in for dinner on a Saturday night, perhaps a sign that this wasn't a one off?

My family and I arrived at 9:00pm on a Friday night and were never approached by any employees (waited 10-15 minutes). Although 2 tables were enjoying food and drinks, we never saw a waiter. We finally left.

Good spot for a drink or 2 on a sunny afternoon try and get a set/table at the edge overlooking the street.

Visited recently for a friend's birthday. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication but the food we were expecting to be served (and paid £10 a head for) amounted to little more than hors d'oeuvres on a couple of slates and not much of it. Certainly not enough to satisfy a party of around 30. After a prolonged discussion with the manager more was eventually sent out but it was nowhere near adequate. The food wasn't even that good either.Moreover, the drinks selection at the bar is tiny and the prices sky-high. I'll not be back if I can help it.

We visited here for drinks before heading for dinner to another place.The jugs of pimms are great and really get things going! We were due to leave for dinner however after seeing some other tables order food, we decided to cancel our reservation & do the same.We ordered a range of mix plates between the 5 of us and there was more than enough food. My favourite thing was the sweet potato fries, they were very tasty (I couldn't stop eating them to be honest)Overall the food was average/nice and the setting was great, overall an enjoyable experience and I would come back for some snacks/drinks.

Had my birthday party in the Treehouse, absolutely brilliant venue. The place looked really cool and quirky and the food was fantastic. Can't say enough about the staff,they were so helpful and accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

Arrived earlier today, really nice atmosphere to sit and have a few drinks in. The two girls who were on were lovely and polite and attentive ,both dark hair, one had a Ralph Lauren shirt on. Great gals great place.

First time this spring visiting the Tree House in Am-Pm, what a spot. Defo the best spot to go on a sunny day. The cocktails tasted so good!! Can't wait to go back.

Had a fabulous afternoon having a drink in the sun in the Treehouse, the cocktails were sublime even to the smallest detail of garnishing them. Will definitely have to visit again especially after having seen those movie night promotions !!

We had our wedding party here and it was an amazing night again we were well looked after and the food was great. The décor of the treehouse is romantic with the fairy lights it was perfect for our wedding party. I would recommend the Tree house for private parties the staff are so helpful.

Went here with a friend after purchasing a Groupon voucher for two burgers and beers for £15. Extremely good value with the voucher as the burger was £15.90 on the menu. Not sure if I would pay full price for this but with the voucher it was excellent. Would be a lovely place to go for a drink in the summer months as the roof is retractable and there is a small balcony area. Glad that the voucher deal was on as I would have never known about this place otherwise. I would definitely go back.

As a regular customer of The Treehouse in the summer months for meeting friends and having drinks I decided to buy the Living Social deal for 2 burgers & beers for £15. We used our voucher on 19/02/16 and had been apprehensive about the cold with it being winter but we need not have worried, it was all enclosed and warm enough with plenty of tabletop gas heaters. The fairy lights in the dark create a lovely ambiance too. Unfortunately the food was not good, I've never had such a tasteless dry burger, it was so awful I could not eat it. The meat was extremely dry and did not taste like beef brisket as advertised, it tasted more like turkey mince to me. I did not eat my burger but my husband ate his as he was starving but he didn't enjoy it. When the waiter cleared the table he noticed my burger was left and asked was everything okay and I told him I could not eat the burger it was very dry and he apologised and said he would speak to the chef. As we were there on a voucher deal we did not kick up a fuss but had the meal been full price I would have complained further and at least asked for my burger to be taken off the bill. The Treehouse is still a lovely drinks venue in the summertime and I will return but unfortunately not for food and nor would I recommend it as an eaterie.

Held my 50th party for approx 100 friends and family at The Treehouse and can't complain at all, everyone raved about the place and some talked about holding their own parties there in the future. Staff were great and the Duty Manager "J" was very helpful and professional, nothing was too much hassle. Some useful pointers if you are thinking of holding a party here:1. There are only two toilets on the floor, said ladies and gents although we made them unisex to shorten the queues.2. Only Stella and Magners on draft, no Guinness and pints couldn't be brought between floors. "J" said if I had requested Guinness earlier in the week they could have arranged it, never thought a bar in Belfast wouldn't have Guinness!3. Very tasty tapas served and 70 cover was more than enough for all, much left over not due to quality, just so much. Food not served until 22:10hrs which was too late for most, not sure what happened with the timing?4. Roof top venue with covered roof, yes it can be chilly but blankets and heaters sort those with thin blood out, dancing sorted the others.5. Welcome lift to move gear and elderly to the top floor 6. Handy terrace access on the same level for those wishing some fresh air or a smoke.All in all, a great night was had by all and highly recommend, perfect setting for a valentines weekend party, decor was fab, Big thanks to Roslynn, J and all the staff.

Recently went to Treehouse as they were putting on a special movie night in tribute to David Bowie. It was excellent, from the service, to the platter of food provided, to the music after the movie was over, hope they plan more nights like this will definitely go back!!

My first visit to The Treehouse. What a fantastic experience! Hot cider on arrival and tapas served throughout the film. I'm already rounding up some friends to come for a little night out soon.Beautiful romantic setting (and I was on a date so it was perfect). Food was lovely and plenty to go around. The staff were all so helpful and appeared genuinely interested in whether we were enjoying the food/having a nice time/ if we needed anything.My only negative was that the straight back chairs weren't overly comfortable to sit for a long time but that is a really tiny comment on what was a well thought out and executed evening. I look forward to future events!

Visited here during the summer with friends after purchasing a groupon deal for a sharing platter. The food was delicious and the prosecco that came with it was lovely too. It was sunny and warm when we arrived but it soon started to rain. The covering was put on, but it seems to leak quite a bit so we had to do a bit of musical chairs. But aside from that, it was very enjoyable and the staff were very attentive.

I booked for a large group for an early Christmas meal. It was so bad I actually thought there was a hidden TV camera crew doing a prank. On arrival half the group were seated 2 floors apart which caused confusion. We finally got together in the Treehouse and it was absolutely freezing. Our long table had no heater, no blankets so we sat with coats/scarfs on the whole time. Someone went to find a hand dryer in the toilets to try and warm up. It was basically like sitting outside and it was very dark, we had to get a candle for the bottom half of the table to actually see.We had a simple deal of a beef burger and a Peroni beer and we planned to order sides. Had to ask twice for drinks order then for food order. They didn't have Peroni beer as stated in the offer and were given beers I haven't heard of. We finally ordered food but the waitress came back to say they had no burgers so would we take chicken. Not a fussy group so we agreed. Food took over an hour to arrive and had ask for another drink order as we weren't asked, even though the place was about a quarter full.Food came but had to wait another 20 minutes for sides. The most unbelievable bit was when we asked for cutlery the waitress said, sorry we don't have any clean ones. It was embarrassing but we were too hungry by this stage to leave. Someone at our table found a knife and we passed that around 2 large tables so that we could eat. To top it all off the chicken burgers seemed undercooked and half the group couldn't eat it. It was an experience, the table beside seemed to wait for an hour for their food and actually sent it back.To be fair to the staff they did apologise and seemed to be trying to help, I have no idea of what was going on behind the scenes. It was all just very disappointing as we only meet once a year.

I am not one for writing reviews however after my visit on the 21/11/15 with my wife and two friends I feel I have too. We arrived at 6.30pm and we were showing to our table. We were quickly asked for our drink order however from there it went down hill. 20mins later and we still did not receive our first round of drinks. The waitress who took our order, i noticed that she looked at our table and realised we had no drinks and it was then i seen her hand over the bit of paper to the bar, which i persume was our drink order. Shortly after we received our first drink. After we received our first drink we placed our food order with the same girl. From the time we placed our food order untill we recieived some of our food was at least 1hour 10 mins, and even then we did not recieve our sides untill the end of finishing our meal. I originally ordered two sides and we still only received one. Something I brought to the waitress attention during our wait. Also during our wait we could clearly see that we were not the only table left frustrated. Other tables were just getting up and leave before their food was even ready.The only postive of the whole night was a waitress (brunette hair) seemed to take a genuine interest in our problem, offered us a free round of drinks, however this did not excuse the rest of our evening. I felt embarrased for taking my wife here for her 30th birthday meal and felt embarrased in front of our friends. The waitress who took a genuine interest seemed to be running the place herself, all the other staff seemed to have hid in a corner when all the complaints started. We enjoyed a good night previously in the cabaret club however the night in the treehouse was by far the worst service i have came across.

My son booked this venue for christening party for my grandson. About 40 people attended. I was very impressed with the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Food came at the requested time and what a feast! Perfect venue for a family party. Food was delicious.

Very disappointed in our visit to treehouse after all the good reports we had. We booked a table for 11 days in advance so gave fair warning. First problem was the ordering system. It's a tally system on a card rather than waiters and waitresses coming to take your order, this is a terrible idea as most of our orders came out incorrect. After ordering from the extremely small menu we waited an hour for our meals, the excuse was that downstairs was busy, not an excuse when so much warning of our arrival, treehouse itself was empty. When the food came my burger was wrong, I wrote on the card so no excuse again, two of the mains didn't arrive but for one of the guys they brought his starter and dessert (ice cream) at the same time. No apology but we were blamed for them not reading our order correctly, if there was confusion they should have asked us at the time. Common sense should have prevailed. Half an hour later when the two main did arrive my friend had eaten his starter and his dessert as it was melting.On a side note about the orders being wrong, two ordered fajitas with salsa, sour cream etc, when they arrived there was no salsa so we asked and they said they'd run out...on a Friday night when the menu is tiny anyway? This should have been mentioned by the waiter...Oh wait there was none. Drinks were wildly overpriced, example, £6.45 for a Kopparberg...what??? Let me finish by saying I don't blame the floor staff, they work with what they're given. This is just abysmal organisation from management. Guy came down at the end and said sorry to the two guys whose mains were not ordered and gave them a gift card for a free starter I believe. No apology to the rest and very little to no apologies throughout. Disappointed and won't be back.

All positive. I can think of no negatives. The entertainment (Bjorn Identity) were superb and encouraged wonderfully with the audience. The service is second to none.

Visited here last week with friends and it's truly a hidden gem and exactly what Belfast needs! Surroundings and decor were beautiful. Staff very friendly and were very knowledgable on what cocktails to order! We also highly enjoyed the jug of pimms. The food was also a winner and the million dollar fries were amazing!Highly recommend this place for casual drinks and upon chatting with the staff we learnt that they cater for large parties which suits this venue perfectly as well! Can't wait for our next visit.

Didn't know it was there but now i do i will certainly becoming back. The food was amazing the staff were lovely and very friendly and the cocktails were out of this world best bramble I've ever had.

Met up with some friends last Saturday in Belfast and we had heard about this place so decided to venture in. We were met by a barman at the door who brought us to a large table and he mentioned how anything we need to just head to the bar. After a few rounds we ended up ordering food, I had the Brisket burger which was great and everyone else had either pulled pork or Fajitas. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the beautiful venue and the good craic. A special mention to Oisin & Conor who looked after us so well despite being a little rushed off their feet! All in all a pretty cool bar with an awesome decor and dead on staff

I attended a party here last night. Whilst the party was excellent, the venue was atrocious. If you are a Gin & Tonic drinker, avoid this place like the plague. The lack of glasses at the bar was pathetic; they would literally serve you a G&T in the first glass that they put their hands on, ranging from the tiniest glass with the volume of a small teacup, right up to a tall Sundae glass, I kid you not, I was served a G&T in a knickerbocker glory glass! When I asked for a tall glass, the guy, who I assumed to be the manager (black suit and glasses) told me that he had no clean ones. At least half of the bar was taken up with dirty glasses, including several tall suitable G&T glasses. I told him I didn't want my G&T in such a small glass. He looked at me as if I had 2 heads. Then, to the rescue arrived Emer. Using just a tiny bit of common sense, obviously lacking in the 'manager', she washed 2 tall glasses and served me my G&T's. Easy Peasy!Oh, by the way, the only gin available was Beefeater. I was told that there was a full range of gins downstairs - how convenient!The gents toilet was simply disgusting. On entering the toilet there was a large hole in the floor just behind the door. Obviously none of the staff noticed this gaping hole because they don't frequent the toilet for Health and Safety reasons!A great night out with friends was ruined by an inept, unhelpful grumpy 'manager' who looked as if he would rather be somewhere else. Maybe he had seen the gents toilet! The other staff weren't much better.The only ray of sunshine was Emer. Get out of there Emer before you become contaminated, you're too good for that place.

We came here as part of a living social deal. Sharing platter and bottle of Prosecco for twenty something pounds. The platter consisted mostly of bread, 2 this slices of chorizo, 2 slices of baked ham. That's about it! A few olives, peppers and a very burnt balsamic glaze. Even with the cheap bottle of Prosecco I couldn't help but feel we had been ripped off!! It was a breezy, drizzly day and where we were sitting the whole in the roof let the rain in. So we moved to the next table, the heater was held together with sellotape! We left after we finished disappointed and pretty hungry!

I visited the Treehouse just yesterday with a few friends, and I must say it was nothing like I expected.We were happily welcomed at the door and seated by one of the friendly staff members. Although they explained it was bar service, they still brought down our drinks down and poured them for us. Not something you would expect in a casual restaurant. We certainly appreciated all the attention!The food arrived promptly, and was nothing short of exceptional, true Mexican cuisine. (I would personally recommend the million dollar fries!)Thank you very much for a great day guys, see you all very soon!

My friend and I enjoyed spending a Saturday afternoon in the Treehouse. This was our first visit. We enjoyed a Mediterranean platter and bottle of Prosecco. Our waiter- Oisín was extremely attentive and made our afternoon extra-special as we were both celebrating beating cancer and celebrating life.We will definitely be back to try out the Cabaret meal which are held weekly.

Love the Treehouse, would say I have been several times on nights out in the city and a couple of times for a quiet drink and some food. Personally it ranks high up there with the best bars in Belfast. Except it doesn't feel like Belfast, whenever it's nice out and I'm laying back in my chair I feel like I'm at a chic rooftop in London or New York. My girlfriends favourite aspect would be the interesing cocktails and fairy lights that are everywhere! For me though it's the classic crystal glass that holds my drink and professional yet easy going staff. "Contemporary and Classic" Is my title because of the interesting fusion of the two that the Treehouse offers. Excellent Faijitas & Hot Dogs paired with the smooth relaxing Jazz playing in the background just seals this place for me. Not your traditional restaurant or bar but different, so I can understand why previous reviews shed a negative light on this place, but honestly I can't wait to get back for a drink!!

Food and drink amazing staff friendly and decor is stunning especially at night with fairy lights in walls. Great on sunny days with retracting roof a real sun trap. Would highly recommend.

I found my way up flights upon flights of stairs little did I know or was told there was a lift to take you right up to the roof, yip to the roof I can tell you I was very happy to get my 1st drink. They did have heat lamps here and there on tables, but my table didn't have 1, I have to say I couldn't take my coat of I was so cold. I found drinks very expensive. They did have the roof pulled over tho I really wished they closed the doors. I have to say the place is quite small, and only 1 toliet...........please this could be upgraded !!!!! Add a few more. Would I go back ? Yeh if someone else is paying, and take a warmer coat !!!

Dirty glasses, poor and rude staff, filthy toilet which ceased to work half way through the night, pathetic bar with high prices and buffet food which was little more than an Iceland platter... Throughout disappointed which is a shame for a venue which is so pretty with so much potential!

I have been to the tree house before for lunch and had really liked the atmosphere so decided today to make a last minute booking - being the ' hottest day of the year ' so the weatherman says there's nothing I wanted more than a nice cocktail. I made a reservation online, however when we got there I really did not need to as there was only two other people in the tree house terrace , as we had been before we knew you had to go to the bar to order drinks and food.We walked to the bar and asked for a jug of pimms, the bartender told us there was no sugar syrup and therefore no cocktails could be made. so we opted for a pint of magners which was grand as much as I was a bit disappointed I couldn't have the drink I specifically went there for , and seeing as they own three floors , and have a few bars I thought that when the sun was out they would at least be topped up with the essentials! We placed our food order at 1.05pm which consided of two chicken tenders and one chip and took our seats by the edge of the tree house so we could see out into Belfast.When we were settled I happened to want to get something out of my bag which was under my chair and as I was getting it I noticed big clumps of human hair stuck to the table ( underneath ) and to the ' flower / leaf arrangement ' beside our table, things like that didn't really bother me too much as long as it wasn't on top of my table or near my food it was fine, but management may want to just check things like this and clear up a little, there was also glass kopperberg bottles under the table and cigarette butts all over the floor , again doesn't bother me so much but again for management to have a little clear up may help a little.Our chicken tenders arrived around 1.30ish and I must say they were very tasty especially the sauces that came with them, however our chips seemed to be lost in the process , we continued to eat thinking they would be up soon , and by the time we finished the chicken tenders the waitress came over and asked if she could take our plates, we explained our chips ( 1 bowl of chips ) still had not arrived so she said she would go and get them right away .. we waited until 1.50pm still no sign of our chips , Personally I don't think our order was overly complicated two people two dishes exactly the same and a bowl of chips ?? And the fact that by that stage there was at most 12ish people in the whole place ..... not overly busy either .Then the bartender came over and said sorry you didn't get your chips , can I get you a drink instead or perhaps a refund , which was very kind of him , but the waitress said she was going to retrieve our chips 10 mins previous, I guess we just were not getting them .. we had no time to wait as we had used up our lunch hour and had to go back to work, we took the refund and then left to head back to work.We were pretty disappointed at the overall experience this time , usually I do like the tree house, but for a bar not to be able to make any cocktails an order ....- a simple order at that - not to be processed correctly just put a downer on what we were hoping to be a lovely lunch in the sunshine!

I booked here for a special anniversary dinner with my wife for which I thought would be special treat and luxurious. Firstly after arriving and coming in the entrance at top we both stood confused as to where to go as no one could be seen staff wise. Finally we where shown to our seats and explained that you had to go up to bar to order your food. How bizarre! Even more annoying and a reason I would never return was the fact once I ordered I was asked to pay. That's right to pay for food and drink before I had even had anything! My wife has a nut allergy and it was like trying to find the holy grail to eventually get breads with butter and some sort of balsamic mess served!we both had burgers for mains which where pretty awful. To add insult this cost best part of £70 which is day light robbery! The biggest problem with this place is however the fact it's not a restaurant it's a bar withal profiles pub grub to soak up your alcohol! Your sat wanting to have a nice meal and take in the atmosphere of being on a rooftop with the sun but instead are surrounded by idiots shouting swearing smoking as its treated as a bar. We wanted to have a nice enjoyable meal instead we had benidorm's finest sat beside us smoking shouting loudly and swearing throughout! If I had wanted that I would have walked into local social club stuck a football top on waited for my brew to come in at midnight at the atm! Unfortunately this is the type of low life this place attracts due to the shows they put on below! Will never be back!

Serata tra colleghi per fine anno scolastico. Ambiente poco pulito, bagni sporchi, cibo poco curato e camereri sgarbati tanto che una collega si e' lamentata con il responsabile e per scusarsi le hanno offerto del vino gratuitamente.Me ne avevano parlato amle , pensavo fossero esagerati ma ora visto di persona credo che non ci ritornero'.

I visited here as an invitee to a birthday party. The venue is very nice with lots of fairy lights abounding and the seating area is spacious. The catering provided was also plentiful and varied, if a little bland.All the problems stem from a bar area that is much too small, a toilet area that is only one toilet (sans flowing tap water) and a general sense of confusion from the staff as to how to run such events.So, to the bar. Or not as was the case. I alluded to its diminutive size but other off-putting features included the extortionate prices (a pint of Magners being nearly £5) and the fact that they ran out of different drinks at different stages of the night. Magners was available at one period of the night, but not the next. The main issue is that a venue of this size did not have the facility to pay by card. At a birthday function, the opportunity to buy a bottle of champers or even a round is hampered by the fact that you have to gather up your money beforehand. I felt like a Uni student scrabbling to get money gathered. This oversight was appalling.Finally, the bouncers were just a tad too keen to get rid of us after the event had ended. To justify my title, I was told by the bouncer to finish my drink and head downstairs. Problem was, I had no drink by that point, only a candle. I don't drink candlewax.The venue's location and unique selling point of being an open air party venue is not enough to justify these glaring oversights.

Went here to a private function on a Saturday evening. Not much interaction form staff. Although the roof was closed, it was very cold. Gas heaters on tables, which I wouldn't class as safe. After two gin and tonics, I was told there was no tonic left in the entire building which I think covered three floors. Friends who drank Guinness had to go down to the ground floor and go outside to get it. The ladies ( only one ) loo was out of order on arrival. The gents was quick to follow. We had to go down a floor through the cabaret club and were "challenged" by the person on the door. Admittedly there was no issue. There were three cubicles in the ladies. One door didn't lock at all and the others had make shift bolts on. The tap on the sink was very unstable.The whole toilet area was grimy. One by one these toilets were placed out of order as well and NO WATER available to wash handsThe handrails on the stairs were taped together and the entire place had an air of neglect. The supper which was served was not good at all and I dread to think if there was no water in the food prep areas. All in all, a terrible place. The only nice thing was the bouncer on the door when we were leaving. He tried very hard to get us a taxi which is no easy task on a wet and cold Saturday night in the city. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The owners and management need to sort this place out!!!

Was here with some mates and after it being recommended by several, it exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived we were amazed by the aesthetics of the well candle lit and presented open roof restaurant and the service of the staff was second to none! Certainly one of the most unique attractions of Belfast! Food was delicious and plentiful and great cocktails on offer! Will certainly be back religiously over the summer!

Bought living social voucher could have made more effort myself waited 1 hour on it arriving. Very poor selection the bread was basically thick slices pan toasted quite boring. The prosecco was cheap blonk! Service was as slow as a snail. Nobody approaches you to advise that you must order everything at the hatch. Alot of dirty tables and quite grubby in general. The fact the sun was out was the only attraction. We left promptly very disappointing!

We visited for dinner for the first time with a Groupon voucher for 2 mains and a bottle of Prosecco. The waiter was pleasant and helpful. We ordered our food at the bar and paid a supplement of £18 for steaks and sauces. There was quite a limited choice of mains. The steak was cooked to order and accompanied by chunky chips, The Prosecco was chilled and refreshing. Unfortunately, the tables could have done with a wipe down and we had to go in search of salt and vinegar The heater was not working and some customers were wearing their coats. The toilets could have done with attention. This could be a really great venue with some attention to detail.

i recently attended the treehouse at the weekend and had a lovley meal the squid and the burger where excellent staff for very attentive will defiantly return

A group of us (about 14) were here with work on Friday evening with Groupon vouchers;After we had sat at our table for a while with nobody coming near us to ask us if we were ok - We copped on that we had to get up and order ourselves - we had to queue for ages to order our food at a hatch - which at one point had a really obnoxious guy who just skipped the queue of 10 people and ordered + drank shots - and had a ciggy while we waited around like chumps for him to finish!; Somebody working there should have said something!Our Prosecco that was part of the groupon voucher came about 30mins after we had sat down - and then about 10 mins later the glasses! The food came out in dribs and drabs 4 people out of the group got their food. Then 10 mins later we were given more food which turned out to belong to the table beside us, which we handed over! (Minus some chips!)Then fajitas came out - without tortillas or sauces etc - this went on and on for about 40 mins - 3 people were still waiting on food a good hour later when others had completely finished. It was an utter joke. There was no system - some people got numbers when they ordered at "the hatch" others did not, so when an order came out there was no way of knowing who it was actually for! The food was grand - but the whole system is abominable, there is no sense of anyone really taking charge and the staff seem to be as mystified as to what's going on as we were! The table top heater needed cellotape wrapped around the on/off knob to keep it going - and as for the toilets - YUCK!On top of that they don't seem to have ever heard of non-alcholic beer, it's a first for me to be in a bar that doesn't have at least 1 choice of NA beer for those of us slightly pregnant! A non alcoholic cocktail is just not the same.In general the surroundings are nice, the cocktails are lovely, the beer prices are way too expensive, and one just gets the feeling that you're being ripped off by someone running a business that really doesn't want to put the effort into running it next nor near properly or train his staff.Never ever again - even if it was for FREE!

I was invited along to the Treehouse for the launch of the summer BBQ range of a very well known local supermarket chain. The venue is superb,one of my favourites in Belfast,if in town check it out!!

Ventured into AMPM as we noticed the roof-top dining area. The sun was shining and when we got up there it looked quite appealing. We were looking for pre-theatre food/drinks. I immediately decided on an amaretto sour and my wife suggested the sharing platter so all good. Well it would have been had anyone bothered to come near us. After a good twenty minutes I went looking for someone but there was still no one to be found. All of this took more time than we had to spare so in the end we had to leave.So AMPM stop wasting your money trying to attract new custom, tarting up your interior and putting together interesting food selections when what you actually need to do is hire some staff and make your customers feel welcome!!! A classic example of a good idea poorly managed.
