The Fly Bar in Belfast

Acabo de tomar una pinta de Heineken en mi camino a casa desde el trabajo, y la cerveza era excelente, pero la música que se reproducía desde uno de los teléfonos móviles del personal estaba llena de anuncios de YouTube, ¿merecía ese dinero pagando una pinta en un pub con licencia? ?

Buen bar y servicio. Nos sentamos un sábado por la noche para ver el partido de fútbol todo bien hasta que una mujer que llegó a la mesa junto a nosotros comenzó a soplar nubes de vapor de un ecigarette bastante desagradable y antisocial. Así que tuvimos que irnos. Una persona egoísta e irresponsable la arruina por otros. Investigaciones recientes han demostrado que los ecigarettes causan daño pulmonar. The Playwright ofrece buenas instalaciones para fumar al aire libre. Gestión has perdido nuestra costumbre. No fumar signos grandes y no vaping signos por favor!

Aquí llamado por casualidad y tengo que decir que realmente encantador ambiente desde el comienzo. La puerta era realmente amable. El personal del bar era muy complaciente y nos dio cócteles para tarifas de hora feliz a pesar de ser después de las 8 pm. Musica en vivo a través de la nochesin duda volveremos.

Newly refitted by new owners and renamed The Playwright. Upstairs is now named Time. Good place to watch sport. Lots of televisions and a decent range of draught beers.

Fuimos allí para algunas bebidas comprobar en la víspera de año nuevo! Yo y mi novio amor aquí, gran ambiente relajado! Los cócteles son increíbles! Una amplia variedad en oferta - 5 viva es por lejos la mejor! Desafortunadamente su no tenían hojas de menta durante nuestra visita, así que no podía haber un mojito! Espero conseguir una próxima vez, ya definitivamente volveremos!

Mi marido y yo a tomarnos una copa rápida antes de ir a cenar. El personal del bar era muy amable y muy servicial. Mi marido disfruta tratando diferentes de cervezas y la chica del bar era muy bueno en ayudarle a hacer la elección correcta. Sin duda llamar de nuevo.

My boyfriend recently went to fly and was treated unfairly by one of there bouncers. He was put in a head lock and chocked until he could no longer breathe and nearly went unconscious, I don't feel there is any justification for this, bouncers should enforce order, however this is assault! Don't go here

No deje su bebida para cualquier periodo de tiempo en este lugar, porque se eliminará ... por el personal. Good fun, great craic really fun place to spend a Saturday night before the clubs. There was a live singer on stage who was good at his job and had the crowd going.

Mi marido y yo estuvimos hace poco en Belfast, y estuvimos en Tara Lodge. Nos resultó difícil encontrar un pub a corta distancia de nuestro hotel. Estábamos a punto de dar cuando nos topamos con este bar. Era un jueves por la noche, y cuando entramos en sólo había otras 2 personas en el bar. Nos sentamos en el bar, y pedimos algo de cerveza. Los dos camareros terminamos hablando con nosotros todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí, ya que no había mucha gente. Nos dieron a conocer los dos de ellos, así como Belfast e Irlanda del Norte.No nos quedamos más tarde ya teníamos que levantarnos temprano al día siguiente. Estaban empezando a conseguir más concurrido cuando nos fuimos.Nos permiten saber que lunes y domingos son muy ocupado en el pub, donde hay una línea para bebidas 4 personas profunda. Era agradable poder tener un pub tranquilo y conocer los habitantes de la zona.

Fui con mi esposa para tomar una bebida aquí en Belfast y tropezamos con el bar Fly. El bar es semi-escondida en una calle lateral con un gran Heineken señal que hizo que destaque ... Estábamos buscando un pub local de nuestro hotel y estamos muy contentos, encontramos esta pequeña joya! Ahora, ten en cuenta que estás en la ciudad de universidad, así que no esperes una multitud de jóvenes 20's! El personal era muy atento y muy agradable! Teníamos un montón de buena conversación y realmente disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia aquí! Lunes, miércoles, viernes y sábados son muy, muy ocupados, pero en los días que usted no tendrá problema conseguir un lugar en el bar y un rápido bebida o cóctel. Simone era nuestro barman y sólo quería decir gracias de nuevo por ser tan geniales!

Worth a visit for the great cocktails. Staff are superb and very friendly sharing tips on places to visit. It was a bit quiet on both times we visited

Me encanta salir en Belfast pero la mosca me debería haber pagado por ir en - una noche terrible! Absolute timo a entrar y ver en mi abrigo. Las bebidas son caras y el bar es muy lento el servicio. pista de baile estaba abarrotada - tuve mi dedo roto y la sangre de mis pies por personas y empujándose me alrededor. Así que claustrofóbico ahí, tuve un ataque de pánico, pero los porteros fueron de muy poca ayuda, y no me dejaron fuera por aire, aunque me puse a llorar a salir de la multitud. Nunca he tenido una mala noche, no regresaré, y yo no recomendaría el volar a cualquiera.

Their cocktails are made quickly and are a great price for the quality! I loved their Rush Hour cocktail - definitely something to try. They could however do with an umbrella or awning outside, as the rain makes it impossible to enjoy a cigarette at the venue.Staff were lovely and great fun - I would recommend this to anyone.

Myself and the girls went out at christmas time , we had got a voucher on groupon for 3 cocktails for £10 , when we got there at 10pm the place was empty , we asked the barmaid for our free cocktails , she did not know anything about these vouchers, so had to go and find a manager, about 10 minutes later she returned and said ok , you can have these cocktails , but your only allowed certain ones .. after she made the first batch, we sat downstairs to drink them and they were tasty, we then went back to the same bar to get our second cocktail and the barmaid then told us she couldnt make them downstairs anymore and that we would have to go upstairs for them , which we did , but when we got upstairs , the guy behind the bar had no clue about these either , so we ended up giving 8 free cocktail vouchers away to random people in the club as we could not be bothered with the hassle , after this we left and went to another club, wont be back in a hurry.

Cocktails and music were great and cheap but it had an odd set up. Only wanting to go to the bar and not the nightclub, we paid £5 in-which is fine by me- but had to go upstairs, through nightclub and down more stairs to get to the bar!! Even though the bar has a door about 5 feet from where we entered!!

Came here on a Friday afternoon with my partner as we seen £3 cocktails advertised and beer of the month for £3. I asked the barmaid what the 'beer of the month' was, she said she didnt know and had to phone somebody to ask. After the phonecall she told me there was no 'beer of the month'. My girlfriend then looked at the cocktail menu and was dissapointed to find that only 3 cocktails were available at £3 which is quite poor as most bars in Belfast have a wide range of offers on cocktails, especially on a Friday. She chose one of the cocktails and was told that it was not available as they didnt have one of the ingredients. So there were only 2 cocktails available and no beer of the month. Very dissapointed and will not return.

This used to be a great bar approx 10 years ago, however, the place has fallen from all former grace!!! The lower bar is very tired and grubby and the night club looks like it has been painted on the budget of £1!!! The decor upstairs resembles that of a teenagers bedroom in the mid nineties with multicoloured walls. The smell from the restrooms was disgusting and there were 3 fights in the 35 mins I stayed!!!!! My wife got her drink in a dirty glass and the management were so poorly presented it was hard to tell them apart from the homeless guy sleeping in the doorway outside. I used to love this place but it is a very sad, tired shell of it's former self. The former owner would be ashamed if he saw the state of such an iconic pub in the state it is in today. Botanic Inns management should hang their heads in shame by unleashing this dive on the paying public!!!

Was in the fly yesterday for a drink for the first time in a number of years. It was very shabby and run down looking! Years ago this was one of the cool places to go but not any more! Atmosphere and service was mediocre! The positive side to it was that its not a bad bar now for going to watch the rugby and football! Service was a bit slow too. I probably won't be rushing back!

Have stopped off in this bar few times on our travels round Belfast's watering holes, and to be honest its nothing really that exciting. Its a nice enough bar for a quick stop off, but thats bout it. Any time we have been in it, we've ordered our drinks, drunk them & away we've went - nobody seemed to notice, nobody seemed to care!!!!!!! & that, to be honest, is my main grumble. There's nothing really that friendly bout it & to be honest no real atmosphere. Unlike alot of other bars in Belfast where the craic is 90. I dont like or dislike this bar. As Ive said, its grand for a quick stop off but thats bout it.
