Food was what seemed to be old salt and pepper ribs were not very tasteful, duck was good but the hoisin sauce was not very nice, prawn crackers were old almost disintegrated, ordered for delivery could not find house lady on the phone was lovely very apologetic, but the driver that delivers the food was rude even after going outside to help them find the house and also giving a tip at checkout

Love the food here. No tofu dishes though. However. Beef Ho fan.. Takes a while (around 30 minutes). Totally worth it. Get it with steamed dim sum...... Been to other places, always come back to treasure house.

One of the best Singapore noodles I've had. Fantastic service, had a lovely chat with the woman whilst I waited for the food to be cooked, and food was delicious! Shame I was only visiting Macclesfield otherwise I'd come here often.

Pros: Reasonable prices, quick delivery, pancake rolls (a rare find!). Cons: So SO greasy! Salt and chilli chips, and Singapore noodles - both had oil leaking out into the paper wrapping. The kung po char sui had gone solid by morning - also a sign of too much fat. All 3 dishes were also very bland, despite the fact all 3 dishes were supposed to be spicy! Summary: Quick and cheap, but greasy and flavourless. Shame really.

The fish and chips we had were tasty and very reasonably priced. And while we were waiting for our order to be cooked, we had a pleasant chat about local hiking spots with the young woman behind the counter.

Ribs are lovely, udon noodles are a bit greasy tho, would still go back had other meals from here that have been great

I’ve been coming to the Treasure House for over 30 years. The food is always so tasty, hot and fresh! My favourite is chicken fried rice and salt and pepper ribs, no where else in town makes it like Gordon and his lovely family. 😋

Best Chinese food in Macclesfield. Gordon and his daughters always happy to accommodate my extra requests, extra chili's 🌶️etc, no prawns etc. Best Singapore vermicelli I have had. Generous portion sizes!

Used treasure house for many years so family treat but never again, my fish and chips where AWEFUL, the fish was paper thin, dry, and so light it was only the batter that weighed, the chips were bits and crispy dry, they sent a fresh one to me and it wasn't even fully cooked inside so ended up binning the lot, my sons sossage were dripping with oil, so disappointed but never again, its gone down hill fast

Top class Takeaway. Tried all the Chinese takeaways in Macclesfield and this is the best, always quality food and usually delivered very fresh and hot. Chips are made in the traditional manner and you should be congratulated for keeping this standard up. I won’t order from anywhere else now as long as you keep making proper chips 👍👍👍🙏

Had quick portion of chips & curry & was blown away. Not oily and freshly prepared chips. Curry was tasty too. I sure will try the salt & pepper chips next.

This place used to be called Gordons before they changed the name but it's run by the same people. Gordon and his family still work there decades on. Featured in several Macc Lads' songs. Got To Be Gordons!

My favourite Chinese takeaway in Macclesfield! Reasonably priced, friendly staff and their salt and pepper chips are to die for. I usually have the char sui in black bean sauce with crispy chilli beef, would highly recommend.

Ordered 2nite and asked on phone if I'd ordered enough for free delivery and was told yes... order came and seemed expensive, I rang and had been charged delivery?? Had argument wiv 2 different staff over the phone so gave food back 2 driver. Well done uv just lost a regular customer over £1.50.. great business model!

Tasteless oily food. Duck tasted more like pork crackling than would like a refund at least for the duck which was 90% duck fat and batter. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want a week's worth of sodium in a single meal. Salt and pepper chips were the best part

Absolute garbage the dim sum platter looked and tasted like it had been refried 3 times. All of it was stale, hard and tasteless. Salt & Pepper ribs were hard, dry, bland and covered in a tasteless batter. The beef curry was swimming in grease and completely tasteless. £26 worth of disgusting takeaway and they had the cheek to charge me .80p to use my debit card - another rip off. Avoid guys, find somewhere else.

Been eating food from Treasure House for many years. Always enjoy the food and call in whenever I get the chance. Could just eat a chicken curry as I write this review!
