My favourite chippy ever. The staff feel like family. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Everything is immaculately clean, the food is top quality, large choice of food and great portion sizes. Served with big smiles and warmth

I’m sooooooo glad I don’t live here!!!!!! One of the BEST chippy chips and kebab I’ve had - only the one near Kings Heath where I used to live for a year for work was better & one in Donegal (but no chippy chips) Döner was soooo succulent. Some of the chips were a bit meh BUT 95% were on par & I did go at the end Looking forward to going back again and trying this again or the fish and chips. Amazing Ps care on the hot 🥵 sauce. It’s hot 🥹 And I have to perform surgeries tomorrow so hope it’ll be ok 😆 I can’t wait to Come back. Ridiculous portion too for the price!!!! Thank you Theo’s

Had for dinner food amazing big portions

Popped in to get some food and they didn’t have the pie that I wanted left. Ordered some chips and gravy instead and the portion sizes were amazing. They even threw in a free pie for me (I’d had a really bad day) to try a different flavour. Staff were really friendly and you could tell from their banter that they enjoyed their job. Will definitely be using again next time I am back up that way

Shocking prices for bang average food. £30.90 for fish & chips x1 and fishcake & chips x 1 and mushy peas! This is a takeaway chippy/kebab shop not a restaurant

Pretty mid chipps, meat and potatoe pie was soggy, potatoes were hard, chips were soggy, meat was terrible. Nice spicy curry sauce tho

Friendly staff and a clean place but the Donner meat was stone cold which spoiled it.

First ever 5/5. Kebab was perfect, flavour is spot on and the salad is tasty (best in the area) There's nothing I would change with this one. Fish and chips - by far the best in the area. Always happy faces and a good team culture here. Great experience.

As always, we had the most wonderful kebabs again last night. These are definitely the best in the area. The staff are lovely and friendly and it’s so clean in there. Highly recommended! 😀

This is a great Chippy, the food is excellent however..... Theos closes at 9.00pm weekdays, if you walk in between 8.30pm and 9.00pm there is definitely a vibe that you're not welcome. Whether it's the big guy glaring at you whilst cleaning the grill at 8.31pm or the immediate appearance of the 'Cash Only' sign. After all they could just shut shop at 8.30pm.

Warmed up chips stale barm that had been toasted to try and disguise the fact it was stale and donner meat was stone cold. Mrs had a chicken burger that was cheap and frozen also her barm was stale.

Great food. Extra clean, tasty, friendly staff. Their chicken skewers are a treat and their donner is really nice. The cheeseburger is not only huge, it tastes really good too. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Bought a Donner Kebab from here at 8.45 pm on Monday and the next morning I was sick and had diarrhea.On looking at previous google reviews for this establishment a gentleman who had bought fish and chips had also suffered food poisoning just 4 weeks ago . You have been warned !!

Chips are very tasty, never greasy, and always cooked perfectly. The prices are great and the staff are really friendly too!

WOW... My first visit to Theo's last Friday.. BEST fish n chips in a looong while .. far superior to the famous Fosters nearby. Delicious flakey white cod,, perfectly cooked chips. Really can't wait to enjoy again soon.. 🏅👏💗🐟🍟

Easy to park outside easy accessable, nice and clean, first class friendly staff, gentleman owner, first class food choices, all a traditional fish and chip shop would serve, very tasty kebabs and burgers can't fault ENJOY

Ive been going here for years and love their food. The last 2 times we have had a delivery of; large mixed kebab all separate, salad box and box of mixed meat, the box of “salad” consisted of lots and lots of lettuce and cabbage with 2 little pieces of tomato, 2 chillis and no cucumber with tiny yoghurt pot has really put me off deliveries, salad makes the kebab. Cant trust whats going to be the box when it’s delivered. Before this i would give 5* but when your mouths watering for a weekly kebab and a box of lettuce turns up just ruined my kebab night. The owner has replied saying they dont deliver!!! Just ring the number and ask for a delivery, they do deliver.

We go to Theo's every week and have alway's found the staff to be friendly. We order over the phone and then go and collect. We let the staff know our order number when we arrive, and they start it. During covid, we tend to wait outside to keep other people and the staff safe. I think some people need to understand, that they aren't the only other customers waiting for their food. And they just need to be a little patient. Food is always spot on here. Highly recommended.

Staff are rude. Ordering/queueing system a joke. I wouldnt recommed going here whatsover.

Good quality food but be specific when ordering. Wanted a small lunch fish and chips, charged as normal but given a very small fish.

You would go a long way to find a nice chippy like this be going back again that's for sure

Excellent, had to wait 5 minutes or so for the fish to be cooked but well worth the wait. Don't live in the area but next time we visit Handforth Dean we will defo be coming back.

Had chicken and chips from here last week, spent 4 days being sick, Doctor suggested it was food poisoning....

Chip and curry muffin just cost me 3pound 20 what a joke and had to eat with fingers as no fork given in bag verry expensive need a bank lone to eat hear

Visit on a weekly basis, ordering numerous chicken chips for our staff (local business)visited this Monday evening and what a joke. The portion size has gone to less that half. I was amazed how little there was. Never again will I visit this place, but the price didn’t change with the portion size
