Good place to stay for business or pleasure. Rooms are always clean. The receptionists are always professional, friendly and helpful if you require information etc.

Receptionist was clueless and hashed up my booking and was rude and lacked customer care. Also lack of daily room cleaning, I would probably avoid this one very poor.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Travelodge, Maldon, Essex and it was a great experience. From the moment I arrived (31/05-01/06/2024), the Receptionist went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Thank you (& sorry I can't remember your name) for taking care of us. The bathroom was spotless (thank you to the young lady cleaner). In fact, the whole room was spotless (again kudos to Hotel Management). The accommodation, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay really memorable. The hotel’s prime location (close to the pub for meals, McDonalds & a Retail Park), made exploring the area a breeze. I'd be happy to return to Travelodge on my next visit. I would happily recommend this hotel to family and friends. 👍

This seems like a fairly new building, good water pressure in the shower but our water for the kettle was ugh! so we bought a bottle of water from one of the nearby shops. It's on a retail estate so no problem if you have forgotten something. Car parking is free and there is a Greggs attached to the building.

195 High StreetI don't normally write reviews but I’ve got to say this, the whole concept work on so many levels. , very authentic and tastes delicious Amazing food, the flavours were the best fresh ingredients are used and you can tell a lot of pride and passion has gone into each dish Pretty impressed I'd recommend THE RAJ at Maldon to anyone to try, you will not be disappointed or hungry!!! One of the curry and all sort of Indian food I’ve ever tasted . My whole family and I love their food and we’ve been a customers for many years as well as most of my mate . Just to mention that all food are cooked freshly by a decent respectful family as they do cook from heart. You feel like you eat at home and what a great amazing customer service if I could give more that five stars trust me I would . Thank you to THE RAJ AT MALDON & everyone at this lovely restaurant specially to the MUM AND DAD for the best food I've had in a long, long time! WE ARE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE AMAZING AND DECENT GENUINE FAMILY WHI COOK CROM THEIR HEART.🙏🙏❤️❤️
