Sunday roast beef and chicken dinner totally excellent, highly recommend

Mel and Jason are fantastic, the entire menu is fantastic so tasty and fresh cooked, a very friendly pub, always a welcoming reception

Cracking local pub, which deserves supporting. Beer kept well, two sides to the pub (one is quieter than the other, so there is always a quiet place to enjoy a meal). The lunches are as good as you will get in a pub anywhere. Mel’s cooking is sublime. It’s a simply. friendly local pub with a pool table and a duke box. Sport is on if you like your darts or football. Landlord makes you feel welcome. Landlady cooks sooooo well. Had the beef stew 3 times in a row as it was so like my late grandmas speciality dish. What a fantastic pub the people that own it are very nice the food is amazing and just like ur mum makes and the people that go there are very friendly as are the lovely dogs.if you are in the area make sure you pop in for a pint

Was sitting in the garden at 7:30 with my friends had a bottle of coke in MY BAG and the worker stole our drinks out of our bags and asked for our ID when we didn’t even have a drink very rude woman would definitely NOT recommend this place!!!

Nice and clean,various beers,good food and sports on TV if you want it. Reasonably priced.

A fabulous roast dinner delivered Sunday....piping hot, loads of food and excellant value. So treated ourselves to an evening meal tonight.....wow! Outstanding again...food is just fabulous. Sorry Jason and Mel but think you will be having alot more calls from us. You guys are doing fantastic through this hard time. Cannot fault the special service you give 😊🥰😘

Always have a good time in the borough

my family stayed there we stayed in a shared room which is not the best also the stank like pop it was broken the shower was tiny and cold and the towels were sheding everywhere I would not recommend personaly.

A very friendly owner and an even more friendly couple of dogs (mother and daughter). Good selection of gins and apparently a well-established clientele

We had a nice meal and drinks with friends today

My stepson is staying there he said it's a great motel and public pub

They think I'm wonderful, why would I not go there!!!
