Bargain fish and chips and decent quality too. For the price, can't complain at all. The staff are super friendly! The dinner box with mini fish, sausage, chips and side order (I went for peas) is excellent value and tastes amazing.

Worst Fish and Chips we have ever had, absolutely nothing positive to say. The chips were brown and soggy and clearly been cooked for ages, the fish was actually dripping in grease, saveloy was microwaved and wish they had left in longer because it cold after our 5 minute journey home which left a sausage which was OK but no better than that. So disappointing and maybe we should have realised when the place was empty

Would love to rate this place higher as clearly family run. But when placing an order of 2 cod 2 chips and a kids sausage meal being the one of only two people in the shop. Get back home to find missing the kids meal 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ If it was packed to the rafters I would not write this review but it was quiet and three staff to two customers and a simple enough order was mucked up. Anyone with a young child will understand returning back home without the food they had requested made for tricky diplomacy to salvage our meal. Food was ok. Good value. Poor organisation

Absolutely splendid food, everything is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was incredible and mesmerising and the service was quick, perfect always nice and hot and perfectly cheap and definitely worth your money. The lady working there is extremely friendly and the people are friendly

Up here house sitting, needed something quick, had fish n chips, pot of curry, lovely tasting, good size portions, nice and hot, good average prices, will definitely go again

Arrived 18.30 thursday but shut

Been here numerous times but this occasion in particular was great. I walked in the shop just as they were closing. Ordered the value meal box for £5.50. Was only charged £3.50 as I was the last one of the afternoon. I was told that the food may be below the standard as it had been out but it was great. Still warm. Always friendly service as well.

Good food well priced would go again

Went here after a rugby match to fill me up, the staff are very chill and the lady there that serves the food is really nice. The chips take time to cook aswell and they're great. I would love to go to this place again.

On two occasions now I have had chips that were dry and crispy so I'm guessing that they were cooked earlier and just sat there in the warm ..

Can honestly say the best chips, peas and curry sauce I have had in a very long time. I didn’t know it existed but so glad I do now if I want a treat. Only negative thing is they only take cash but there is a cash machine in the Co-op.
