It was our wedding anniversary both our favourite eaters are closed on Tuesday and we thought we would try somewhere new after reading the write up about the amazing new chef that had worked Michelin star restaurants I rang and booked at table A very nice lady came and served us everything was going fine excellent starters then then it went down hill I ordered the lamb rump it was awful 70% fat I did not know that anyone produced lambs that fat in 2024 I certainly don't I can not believe a top chef would present such an shocking plate of food It totally spoilt our anniversary meal after zi complained the waitress apologised for the lamb then it seemed we were being ignored I had difficulty in attracting someone s attention to pay the bill It certainly was not a memorable anniversary dinner We we go out to expect better food that you have at home

First time in Banbury. Very nice venue. Very nice evening meal, generous portions. Nothing was too much trouble, great service without being OTT, good value for money too.

Would have loved to have tried the food but called 3 times to book a table, left 2 voice messages several days apart, but did not get confirmation that a table was actually booked so went somewhere else. Shame.

We have eaten here on a regular basis in the evening but thought we would try a Sunday breakfast for a change. We got to the restaurant where there was one couple eating and all other tables empty. The two girls behind the counter just asked if we had booked, we replied that we hadn't and were told , quite rudely, that as we hadn't booked they couldn't serve us. We looked around at the empty restaurant but again the girl stated that they couldn't serve us. No explanation and again very rude and then as we turned to leave we heard a rather sarcastic "have a nice day". We shan't return

Went for the first time the other day before closing, on a weeknight, and we received EXCEPTIONAL service and delicious food. Cannot fault.

Great spot to try some fusion cuisine. The waitress and the service was excellent.

Hubby and I went for our Wedding Anniversary dinner. We had a cosy table in the window so we could watch the world go by…. food and champagne delicious. Service was good, attentive but not intrusive. Quite a few couples , families and friends dining so good atmosphere. Highly recommend for a low key dining experience with excellent quality food and drinks. Thank you 3 Flavours x

Wow what an amazing Sunday lunch we had today(Easter Sunday) ,great staff and lovely relaxed atmosphere...will definitely be back ..

I have been visiting 3Flavours for their full English breakfasts for quite a while because they are exceptional value and massive portions. I booked ahead recently for a table of 4 for the Sunday lunch. The man on the phone asked if me if I knew in advance what we would like to order then he would make sure put it by for us - it is very popular. Four, scrumptious, hot, roast beef dinners on arrival. Perfect. We even had take aways for our dogs as there was just so much meat. A great service was received by happy, helpful and friendly staff. The food quality is spot on time and time again.

I’ve visited a few times, with friends and most recently with my wife. The food is absolutely five star quality, we couldn’t fault it. Very attentive and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. We look forward to our next visit!

The food is on the pricier side but absolutely worth it as it is so delicious. The staff were very lovely, always making sure everything is to our liking, our particular waitress was so smiley and really improved the experience. Definitely recommend, delicious food!

Amazing food, really diverse menu

We were there late Sunday so missed out on Sunday roast. But the sea food risotto was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive but it lacked a little atmosphere and I think this was due to the time of day

The meal was sublime, butternut squash rissotto, full of flavour, followed by chocolate cookie cheesecake. Presentation was lovely. Service was excellent.

We visited on a Sunday at around 1pm and staff were very welcoming. Lunch Menus were on the table so we had a look, but no one gave us a wine menu and we had to specifically ask for it, we even said to our waitress "do you have wine?" And she said yes but didn't move to get us a wine list or anything. Anyway, we ordered our drinks and, subsequently, our food. The edamame was not edamame, it was stringy beans smothered in chilli so they didn't get eaten (in fairness they did take them off the bill) and the other 2 starters were OK, nothing special but ok. For mains we had burgers and mac and cheese, again both were okay, the mac and cheese tasted like it had a slightly powdery base to the sauce, and the burgers were obviously cooked from frozen but tasty enough. It was about this time that we realised they did Sunday lunch, no one had told us or offered us the menus, we initially thought maybe it was the time of say we visited but then noticed that a table who had arrived and ordered before us also had roast dinners, so obviously they had just decided not to offer it to us. Overall to be honest I was disappointed, I've been looking forward to visiting but everything was just a bit 'meh' and although the staff were wonderfully friendly, we were annoyed that we seemed to have to specifically ask for things rather than be offered them, and given that we don't know what they do, that's a bit tricky! Probably won't go back due to that, but its a decent place if you want an expensive mediocre meal. But again, staff and atmosphere were genuinely wonderful and lovely.

The service was10/10 from start to finish and the roast lunch was amazing with generous amounts of meat that was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was fun and made it a fun time for us. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing too!

Came here for valentines meal where they had been advertising for valentines set menu, sat down to be told it was a pre order only? Hadn't seen that posted or explained anywhere. Food is very very over priced 26.50 for a steak which is about average but then have to order chips or any sides separately, for to be honest just mediocre 'pub grub' nothing special won't be returning

The staff went above and beyond but the food was just ok. At £140 for a family of 4 who only ordered burgers due to the price, it was a tad disappointing, most main dishes are £20 + and don't come with sides 😞 Also we were the only customers there! The price brackets below are laughable!

Arrived for an early table at 6.30. Asked if we could have the quiet corner which was appreciated. Very attentive and the food was amazing. Great starters and mains.

Girls get together here for a meal and drinks. Slight delay on food coming out, but was offered free delicious olives 🫒 Food was delicious however the Risotto portions are smaller than the curries! I had the green chicken curry 🍛 large portion and yummy!!

Sunny Sunday morning, ordered the frying pan for breakfast and it was amazing! Friendly staff, good vibes.

Absolutely amazing service, lovely food and an overall great experience. Went for my birthday meal and we felt welcome, taken care of and after they apologised for being short staffed (this did not take away from the great service), all of the servers and chefs did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend.

Great Sunday roast, good price at £21. Kids cheese burger was bit too big for a 6 year old - but it would have been great for an adult!

We popped in for some quick snack and we found pancakes that were really nice and priced well. The second visit had a great breakfast, very filling and tasty.

Although the place has been in town for quite some time now, I only happened to visit this weekend. Great ambience, and great service. I can't appreciate the food enough - A perfect blend of flavours, it was such a delight. Definitely going to visit more often and try the rest of the items. 🙌🏼

Walked in after hearing some good reviews. Was concerned they wouldn’t allow my little miniature pinscher with me. They were so accommodating and friendly. Made me feel comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Definitely will be back again

Great place for breakfast or brunch! We were the only ones there on a Friday morning (we were there around 10 am). The waiter was very friendly and the service was fast. This restaurant is also dog friendly! They brought out dog a bowl of water before we could ask. So nice!

Came across this restaurant when roaming around looking for a meal. What a great find it was. All four of us enjoyed our meals enormously. The staff were lovely and welcoming and very friendly. If you're ever in Banbury it's worth a visit.

Amazing dinner - on SlimmingWorld and so difficult to find places that offer healthy options but this place absolutely hit the spot. My friend is veggie and was blown away by the amount of choice. I’m not, but actively chose the Quinoa starter because it sounded (and was) so yummy. Service was on point, thank you Lloyd you looked after us super well, can’t criticise anything. Have tonight discovered Grasshoppers - may now be my favourite cocktail. Def worth a try.

Our first time visiting here since it changed from a Dutch cafe during the pandemic. Food was very good and service was prompt. The beetroot tartare with truffle was superb - I enjoy beef tartare and was skeptical about it but it really held its own and is a very good idea. We followed with the seafood linguine which was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seafood, and the 3 Flavours burger, which was well paired with caramelised onions and excellent chips. My only criticism would be that the burger was somewhat over-salted (especially apparent against the sweetness of the onions) and I think a brioche bun adds unnecessary extra richness. Although, going by the fact that literally everyone serves burgers in brioche buns these days, I seem to be in a minority. Overall, a lovely place with interesting decor, clever food pairings and good service. We will visit again.

Overall ok. Had a issue with food which was served, was given the option to replace, but, felt the service was slow so opted not to. A minor reduction in the charge for that item would have been fair, however, they chose to over look this.

Fabulous place! We came for brunch on a weekday morning. Food was delicious - really worth walking up from Castle Quay for. I'd definitely come again, and will be recommending it to my friends.

First time visiting. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was very nice. Didn't have to wait long. Asked for sauce in a pot rather than on food, no problems. Asked for a take away pot for my left overs, no problems. Will definitely return.

Food was nice, service was very good. Just a shame the decor and furnishings inside the restaurant let it down. It's clearly not been decorated since it was a Mexican restaurant (the silhouettes of people in sombreros on the garden wall for example). We only tried breakfast so can't speak for the lunch / dinner menu but would probably go back.

We went here for breakfast, we've heard a lot of great reviews about the food. The service was good, the food was excellent, the frying pan breakfast was something I've never seen before but really enjoyed it, the English breakfast was big and really good. The only downside was the cold drinks were expensive but it won't put us off going back and recommending the place.

We had our wedding anniversary dinner here and had a lovely night. The food was amazing - the best duck my husband has had and the fishcake starter was fabulous. The wine list is impressive, I enjoyed my favourite Wente. The service was great - attentive and very genuine. The chef came to talk to us which was a great touch and we will definitely be back!! The worst place to order from. Been waiting 1 hour and a half and could not even cancel. This place is s a JOKE

Three of us went in for brunch today. The atmosphere in the place is lovely, very welcoming and calm. We were seated promptly even though we didn't have reservations. My wife and daughter both had the full English, and I opted for the Brioche French Toast. The drinks arrived in good time, and the food was freshly prepared. The fresh fruit on the French toast was amazing as was the French toast itself. I also got to sample the sausage and bacon from the two ladies' breakfasts and that was amazing, also. We will definitely be going back.

Delicious Pan-Asian Cuisine. I will be going again. Loved the Beetroot Salad, Aubergine Dip and Lightly-Spiced French Fries. Whatever I order for my main next time, I plan to persuade my friends to order a selection of side dishes for the table as well. The combination of flavours was so good. ...... so I have been back to this restaurant a few times now and I have some new recommendations for you to try: Quinoa Salad, their new limited edition Blue Lemongrass and Butterfly Peaflower Tea (you have to make a special request for this as it is not officially on the menu), the champagne is a superb blanc de blancs and the dressing/dipping sauce for the gyoza dumplings will tickle your tastebuds!! Another thing I have learnt is that there is plenty of parking available on a Wednesday evening.

Hands down the best restaurant in Banbury. Placed an order through Uber eats which included a Whole Lobster which wasn't available. Uber ended up removing the item and putting the order through anyway which would have meant someone didn't get the meal they ordered. Called 3 Flavours to explain and they let me know that only half lobsters were available. They canceled the order on their end so I could put it through with the half instead. When the order arrived they'd included a beautiful prawn dish which wasn't even on the menu completely free of charge. Everything is fresh and incredibly high quality. Honestly couldn't recommend them more. You pay for what you get and what you get is exceptional! Keep up the good work guys!

Duck was perfectly cooked. Desserts were superb. Busy on a Saturday evening and service could have been a bit better.

I hate leaving negative reviews, especially for a local business. Ordinarily if something seems poor or I'm not quite happy with the service, I tend to pay my bill, smile as we leave and make a mental note not to go back. The service we received at 3 flavours was that bad, I can't just shake it off. We arrived as a table of four (2 adults, 2 children) we waited next to an uncleared table for what was slightly longer than you'd expect, no big deal, the helpful waitress took out order and was quite accommodating re food allergies etc. The food was brought out in random order with some eating whilst other waited. I ordered a starter which failed to arrive and when the main courses came out, one was wrong, the wrong one was sent back and we waited so long for the right meal that my meal was completely cold. The gentleman seemed very put out that we dare question anything and looked visibly p@ssed off. After waiting 20 minutes we made our excuses, paid for what we had eaten and left with no apologies, no attempt to rectify the situation. Maybe it was just a bad day, it was clearly understaffed and the poor lady working there was carrying out several roles, nevertheless, going out for dinner should be a treat and we walked out feeling disappointed.

Food was great but service was terrible. Considering we precooked, they run out stake and the last meal came out 10 minutes after everyone else's. No one cared or knew how to care. No one came to apologise and even when we asked for bread as starters took 30 minutes, that came way after the starters (and it was garlic bread which took time to cook rather than simple bread which could have just been brought out). Disappointed and will not visit again.

Unusual blend of cuisine means there is something for everbody. I had mixed grill which was massive.

A friend and I had sunday lunch here. We were not particularly impressed with some aspects of the visit. We had to wait a long time for our food to arrive, approx 50 minutes. We asked for some water which never arrived. Whilst my food tasted good my friend was not happy with the lamb on her plate, saying it was tough and she left most of it. The wine was very expensive too. This was my 2nd time here and I was not very pleased the first time but thought i would try there again. I dont think i will be going back and cannot recomend to anyone. Which is a shame as i would like to have been happy with this place as its been a restuarant before and i frequently went there as its very near to my home.
