Tradita in Birmingham

Very good indeed, extremely reasonable, exceptional customer service. Loved the open kitchen, so nice to see! Loved the starter mushrooms, carbonarra was lovely, and steak too. Hubby said creme brullee was really good. So nice to have properly hot plates and properties hot food, thanks, will be back!

An amazing little place. So quaint and cosy inside. Good menu, reasonably priced. Staff were absolutely fantastic. Me and my adult daughter popped in after noticing it a few weeks ago. We fancied something different to Indian or Chinese. Was not disappointed at all. Our server was so helpful and friendly. We ended up having starter, mains, dessert, wine, and coffee. Risotto Speciale was so tasty and the milk pudding dessert and creme brulee perfect. We forgot where we were for just over an hour and half.. felt like we were on holiday. Definitely going back. They do 2 for 1 cocktails 🍸

Wow, what a find, nice little restaurant, seen it thousands of times but never thought of going in, nice Mediterranean food, my sister suggested it as a meet up and it was fab, definitely go again.

After talking about coming here for a couple of years, we finally booked in for our wedding anniversary and was not disappointed really loved the decor it was nice and chilled out. Food was excellent and really good value for money. The tiramisu is the best I’ve ever eaten.

Traditional is modest in size and location, but the warmth of the welcome, standard of service and quality of food are huge. We had an amazing meal of crab and prawn ravioli in lobster sauce and whitebait as starters, followed by grilled seabass and prawns in a garlic sauce. Every mouthful was delicious and there were plenty of them. The young lady who runs the restaurant couldn't have done more to make our evening enjoyable and when the bill arrived, it was extremely reasonable for the quality of the food we had been served. If you like finding hidden gems off the beaten track, Tradita is definitely worth a visit.

We went there for Valentine’s Day, but had food from the menu rather than the Valentine’s Day special. For Valentine’s Day, they had confetti, heart shaped napkins, and roses presented when you get the bill! The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food is excellent and always cooked fresh. The place itself is small, maybe 7-10 tables and has a nice atmosphere. The deserts are made the same day too, the tres leche is really nice, we normally take it to go, and have it the next day! The chef, Victoria is hard working and creates really tasty meals, and cover both veggie and carne options. We have been here a few times and love The food and the people here!

Visited on a friend's recommendation as part of a bigger group. We had a fantastic evening. The starters were delicious, with the special crab ravioli particularly enjoyed by many of us. Mains varied from risottos to pasta to meat dishes - a couple of people suggested they would have preferred the pasta sauce less creamy, but all seemed pleased with their food (as evidenced by the empty plates). Puddings were another success, with a selection of homemade options and plenty of custard where appropriate! They were even kind enough to include a little celebration for two of our party who were celebrating birthdays. Service was great and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Booked a table for 5 which turned into 6 - no problem. Food was excellent, starters, mains, sides and desserts were all perfect. Only slight criticism which would put us off returning on a regular basis is the price of drinks (£5.50 pint, £25 prosecco, £8 single brandy & lemonade). Meal and drinks for 6 was £260. Really great food though.

Not from the area but my partner had taken me away for a few days for my birthday. We love family run places so decided to try this place. Very small on the inside but has a lovely feel. Waited a while for our first drinks and then when they arrived they were warm. My partner ordered what was stated on the menu as ‘Homemade fishcakes’ - they definitely were not homemade. More like chippy fish cakes. Which as you can imagine was extremely disappointing. The pizza we ordered we asked if it could be made thin - again did not come out anything thin at all. The waitress was apologetic but was a bit of a disappointment.

Fantastic independent Italian restaurant. Good value for quality freshly cooked food and fabulous friendly service. Tasty vegan options available, in fact my meat eating friend decided on one. So pleased we decided to book La Tradita, highly recommend

My first time,my partners 3rd. A tiny place but it made for a good atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The food was superb. The price was reasonable too. My only gripe,there has to be one, is that I would have expected a twenty quid bottle of Merlot to be a little stronger than 11 per cent!!! That aside we'll go back for sure. Very enjoyable.

I have picked this excellent place for my wife's birthday meal based on the reviews. I am so glad I did; the location, staff and food were fantastic and delicious. The ingredients used and the way they were presented were perfect. I would try the pizza again and highly recommend it to those who like to go for an Italian.

Tradita was picked out by ourselves to cater for a seafood lover and a relatively fussy eater with the outlook of ‘you can’t go wrong with Italian’. far from ‘can’t go wrong’, we were impressed with every course! Standouts being the ‘Stracceti di Manzo’ worthy of a “double-mmm” on the first mouthful, and the Fudge Cake desert being “the best i’ve had” Portion sizes are generous and the whole menu reasonable priced, 3 courses with sides and a couple of drinks for both of us coming to just north of £80. 100% worth the venture from Staffordshire to try our tastebuds further afield and would absolutely revisit and recommend.

Delicious food and great service. We booked for dinner on a Tuesday night as were staying in nearby hotel and looking for a nice evening meal.
