My friends & I had booked in for a bottomless brunch at townhouse, when we first arrived we was made to feel so welcome and even got the opportunity to choose our own seats, wether that was inside or outside, we choose outside. Once we arrived outside I went in to get menus and order drinks and the waitress insisted that I sat down and enjoyed myself and that she would come and take our order, from the get go the service was absolutely fantastic, I believe our waitress was Bella. Bella made our experience, she was so lovely and accommodating. The one flaw I have is that the chicken skewers were a bit dry but I still maintain the 5* due to the exceptional service from Bella and the warm atmosphere, a prefect place to catch up with old friends. Bella, my friends & I thank you.

Awlfull! Poor tasting food and wine, service okay, staff have to deal with poor property conditions, eg. toilets have no locks on them. Would not return again. Certainly not authentic tasting...

Great paella and sangria, excellent service both in the night and beforehand when pre-ordering paella and discussing dietary requirements. Staff could not have been more helpful.

What a great spot! Popped in for for some drinks and soak up the great atmosphere and tried out some tapas while we were there. Loving the atmosphere chilled with a decent music selection which was at just the right volume to creat a good ambience and still have a chat and catch up. Staff were amazing and after looking at the menu we decided to give a few tapas dishes a go and I was so impressed. Will definitely be back for a bigger meal!

Comeing from a familly surviving of a bar this is some of the nicest warmest and most wholsome expirience Ive had. The quality of service outshines every place Ive been to in London and even some in Italy and France. 5/5 from me no doubt would recomend to anybody. Also the only place that serves good coffee in the country been through most of UK and this was the first time I enjoyed my cup of coffee.

Fantastic place and really great tapas lunch and service was amazing, highly recommended. Also great selection of wines and drinks plus some lovely Spanish beers on draft. The food was full of delicious gluten free options and the staff explained all of this well. Top place nice to see service still exists .

Had a great evening at The Townhouse with some tapas and wine before seeing a show around the corner. Victor was a fantastic server. Likely the only time we'll ever make it from North Carolina to Tunbridge Wells, but if we're back we'll stop in again!

Came here with my lovely lady, was greeted by a very welcoming man called Victor, he was working alone and seemed to have everything running so smoothly despot it being pretty busy. The food was lovely and I had a great time. Victor was really attentive especially when I spilled my drink. Been before but now even more inclined to come again sooner thanks to Victor.

My wife organised a work function here. The food was really good, nice atmosphere and the staff were really helpful especially Petya & Victor. Everyone really enjoyed the night and we will return very soon. Thank you.

From arriving to leaving i was treated like royalty the ambiance is perfect for dinner and cocktails. The tapas was exceptional and it was smiles all around. I really recommend the Townhouse during the week as iv been here many times for lunch. Great staff great food very good cocktails and the perfect party vibe! Also i must mention La bodega The townhouses very own underground cellar bar. Unique. Making this place makes the perfect private party venue! A must visit!

The bar was buzzing on our visit. The service was excellent. We were there for drinks with friends and really loved it. The facilities have needed some attention for some time, so this area is now in desperate need of a make over but otherwise a great evening.

Myself and my partner came to visit Tunbridge Wells and I’d already decided that the townhouse was somewhere we needed to come as it’s independent and looked really nice. We booked for bottomless brunch and although initially quiet, the woman who served us was very friendly and welcoming. Half way through our brunch and a man named Victor took over our table and ensured we were always topped up with drinks! He was extremely friendly and moved around all the tables with ease (as it was now busier) Cannot fault the bottomless brunch and the food was so much better than your average burger or eggs offering, the dessert cakes were incredible Overall, would highly recommend

Awesome venue. We held my 40th there in the upstairs area, which was such a fanatically decorated area. The staff were so friendly and the food was great! Would definitely recommend!!

First time eating at this venue, read reviews and thought we would give it a go. Greeted by a pleasant man who was polite and professional. Ordered four Tapas dishes for lunch, what arrived was not what we expected and terribly overpriced for what turned up. As Tapas is one of our favourites when we eat out, we tend to know what will be served ,when you order certain dishes. Ordered Spanish Tortilla which is usually a small round omelette you can cut into four,what arrived on a plate was a small slice served with two cherry tomatoes, Patatas Bravas equally disappointing as what turned up was a bowl of fried potatoes with a drizzle of tomato sauce, not the lovely thick spicy sauce that normally accompanies this dish. The tiny amount of Chilli to accompany the Nachos was a real let down .Don't know if we just turned up on the wrong day but will not be going back. So overpriced for what they offered.

Best date night dining and drinks! So intimate, cosy and the drinks and menu are really tasty. Could not reccomend highly enough.

Drinks only! Busy bar in the heart of town. Seemed to be a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, service was very slow and if you accepted the offer of them bringing drinks to your table, they got forgotten. Disappointed 😞

We went on Paella night, Thursdays, and luckily had prebooked as it was very popular. Starters was a favourite pick, baked camembert to share, very good but filling. We both chose the Paella meat option but probably should have had a seafood just to compare. All very tasty 😋

Average and forgettable food… not impressed sorry

We came here for a lunch and craft workshop for my sister’s hen do. The manager, Petya was so accommodating and we had a fantastic time! We had the bodega room, which is downstairs- it was perfect for a private lunch spot and great for our workshop. The food was delicious too and we had our own bar! Thank you!!

Had a surprise party for my other half at La Bodenga. It was the perfect evening. The food was incredible and Petya the manager couldn't have been more helpful.

We went for lunch today and were delighted with the delicious, freshly cooked food. We had pre ordered 2 ‘small’ paella between four of us. They were excellent but more than we could eat so the waitress kindly offered to box them up for us to take home. The tapas were also very generous proportions and very tasty. And a special mention for the large, melting Camembert with toasted bread and cranberry sauce. The service too was impeccable, very friendly and charming staff. We shall return.

Awesome venue - a mini Shoreditch House in Tunbridge Wells. Such accommodating staff, excellent service and a great back bar and awesome selection of cocktails. An absolute gem in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Highly recommended.

So let me say that the staff, bar persons, service and venue are all lovely. My issue was only with the food - I know good Tapas, as I’ve had two homes and a restaurant in Spain and this is not authentic Tapas. Patatas Bravas- roast potatoes cooked and served with what basically was a ‘ketchup’. - Albondigas - The meatballs were bland & served with a ‘salsa’ - Nachos ~ packet nachos served with a mince, avo dip and white cheese, flavourless. - Chicken bites (?) - dry, over cooked and flavourless too ~ Overall: No discernible Pimiento, no garlic, no saffron, or chilli etc a la authentic Tapas. 4/10, but that’s just my opinion. The chef is from Bulgaria not Spain, btw. I never burden staff with a complaint as it’s not their issue. As I said, they were all lovely. Clearly the owner is happy with their food. But I’d still go to Sopranos in the High St for tapas, it’s far more authentic.

Have had drinks here many times and it has a nice atmosphere. Never eaten until last night, a Tuesday evening in a fourball so probably not at their best Sat in garden under the shelter, table top very sticky after manager asked for it to be cleaned. Duly wiped down but still sticky. Gents toilet a bit tired and could do with a good clean. Staff came over to take our order and to be fair we we chatting so ordered drinks which came promptly. Left alone for about 20mins until we called staff over to order food. Again food was also delivered promptly but we had to ask for plates and cutlery, which were brought immediately. It seemed every next item needed us to go and engage with staff. May have been short staffed, I don't know. Food in general was ok, mackerel salad really tasty, crab salad with sweet corn as a filler, bit odd for me. Mushrooms a little bit bland for me too. Potato Bravas were ok, as we're meatballs, chicken a bit dry, chorizo, prawns were good. Vegetarian gratin we had is as forgettable as it's name, which I forgot! Would go back for drinks but would think twice before eating there again.

Have just been out looking for an italian restaurant, but all seem to have been closed on Monday, so tried here, and what a gem. My wife and I had a number of tapas and a bottle of wire, which were fantastic, meat balls, spicey potatos, chicken with garlic mayo, mushrooms. What great food, service was perfect by both staff members as was the attitude. A lovely restaurant that we stumbled across, thanks for a great meal and evening.

The bar was okay. Can only speak on on having coffee and beer. Was a nice warm day. We sat out the front. Wasn't too noisy or busy for a Saturday afternoon. The girls working didn't seem the happiest for whatever reason, beer was fine. We ordered 4 of the same coffees however each came out slightly different and seemed quite weak. Will probably try another day and will give the tapas a go also.

I am writing this with a heavy heart we ised to go here 3 to 4 times a month. When the owner was there we have been twice since she has left to work at the new London restaurant. Where do i start both ti.es we had to ask for a drink . We was taken to our table and left for 15 minutes with out being ask what we like to drink. We then ordered was told it could be a while . Which is fine . We asked for breads it took 15 minutes as soon as it arrived so dis out food. Food was nice we had to get someone's attention to order another drink. It never came . We had to go to the bar to ask for out bill. Th

I must say arrival and attention to our reservation was impeccable. We had excellent service as was the food. Overall a good time was had by all, until we left our table and moved downstairs. There is a further cellar bar that was not highlighted that it had a current private party, we had to embarrassingly walk out off. Most people have little money to go out but to be looked at with disgust(because we are no longer 20 something was a sad day) Management unfortunately tried to placate us with poor excuses. I'm a generous and harmonious person but I hate being patronised by people who think bad service and unkindness is acceptable. Unfortunately a fun evening took a bit of a downward turn. Hopefully our next foray will be with people who except over 20's. Peace and good times.

Loved the atmosphere of this small but stylish bar and restaurant. There's also an outdoor section for the warmer weather. The sharing plates are amazing.

I arranged a surprise meal for my mothers birthday. We had an incredible evening and all of the staff were so kind, caring and accommodating. The food was excellent and the cocktails too. Thank you to all staff members for making this such a special birthday for her. Can’t wait to return soon!

Booked a table of 2 for Saturday night. Glad we did. Shown to our table and ordered a cocktail and a beer for my partner. Ordered 5 tapas dishes and a bottle of wine. Was lovely. Food was more than enough and was served freshly cooked, hot and delicious. Would have liked some Calamari on the menu that's all. Finished with another cocktail and an Irish coffee for my partner. Can't wait to go back again with friends!!

We went there for a little celebration on my husband’s birthday, the place was very cosy and welcoming, we loved all the dishes that we ordered, the staff were very nice and friendly, they went extra mile to make their customers happy, we will definitely come back and visit again! :)

One of the few places where you can have Estrella Galicia lager and also the premium version of their beer.

Been a couple of times and do love, went on a Tuesday night so was quiet but the staff were attentive and friendly. The menu suggests 2-3 dishes of tapas per person but honestly between the 2 of us we barely managed 3 dishes cause they are good sizes.... as well as being delicious. Music was a little loud and the seating is a bit awkward indoors, but the outdoors area is gorgeous.

First visit and will be returning soon. Extremely happy with my visit last night - great selection of wines, spirits and cocktails. Food was great, generous tapas portions and all members of Front of House that served us were both professional and friendly. Great to see it lively and packed on a Friday evening - working in the hospitality industry myself, it's fantastic to see establishments that have been closed for so long due to lockdown with all their seats filled and a buzzing atmosphere.

Lovely food and drinks at a very good price. every staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful. We left our babies milk bottle there and went back the next day and they'd even cleaned it out for us and kept it incase we came back, we had help with lifting the pram as well. Will defo visit again.

I have mixed views about this place but I have become increasingly disappointed. Tonight I popped in just for one last drink. After being shown to seat we promptly ordered a beer & a Mojito. 20mins later there was still no sign of our drinks....

Brilliant front of house manager, smiling and pleased to have us. This lively happy feeling was with all the staff. The cocktails were good, slight error with the first margaritas but we all laughed off the problem and had a second round which was perfect. The Mediterranean board and a few tapas dishes were all perfect. If we lived closer we would go back many times.

Dropped in without booking after having dinner elsewhere and were glad to be found a table and seats were brought in for my brother, sis in law and myself. The wine I chose was lovely and we had a pleasant round off to our evening out. Nice atmosphere and staff friendly and attentive.

We just stopped by for quick a drink, staff were friendly enough but my drink was taken from the table before I'd finished. Felt quite dark and dingy in there maybe that's why my drink was taken too early...

I thought the food was very average and very expensive for what it was, I wish i had gone to sopranos instead. The menu was very limited indeed and the drinkks were epensive. Had a cocktail was not impressed at all with that and at...
