Town hall in West Lindsey

Been to The Town Hall a few times now. Every time the food has been very good. Great service. Good price. Best mixed grill, it’s a beast.

Very dark and dingy could do with a complete make over

We attended a Steampunk Halloween Ball and this venue was just the job! The ticket price included a pie and pea supper and as a bonus there was cake. Bar drinks were reasonably priced, food was good and facilities were clean

The changes had been made to the town hall, and I went there with my family on Friday as they do fish Friday! Absolutely beautiful and great for the money! The fish is so fresh and the batter is beautiful! Was very clean, great staff and very friendly, I would recommend for sure! Also go for our Sunday lunch from time to time and again, you really cannot beat the price and great food you get! Always been made welcome and my children feel at home there due to the staff being lovely!I will be going there a lot more when I eat out as there is some fantastic offers coming up and different types of food! The picture below is the baby fish! It was huge!

Been three times and each time it has improved. Went last night to see Tiny Tim. Very busy but well organised.

Sunday Dinner. 3 course for £10. Kids £4.95We booked for 1pm. The starters we ok for the kids but myself and husband didn't have anything. Kids had a piece of garlic bread and a chicken wing. There was vegetable soup but I don't like veg soup, onion rings a little bit of salad and pasta left and corn on the cob.The carvery meat was great, beef pork turkey lamb ham and meat pie. The veg let it down though as they try to do too many different types, just stick to the normal and keep them topped up. Great Yorkshire puds, nice roast and new potatoes. Ran out of mash so my son was gutted.Pudding was so disappointing. My eldest was lucky enough to get the last bit of choc cake. They was some flan left and after asking they brought some lime chocolate cake out. So myself and youngest didn't have anything. When we first arrived there was a big choice of puddings available but obviously not enough for everyone. I pity the big table next to us who arrived just after us as they may not have got anything.The main was great but my advice is go early if you want 3 courses.Maybe just keep it simple with not too many choices and keep on top of it with bringing fresh out more regularly. I don't think 1pm is late for a Sunday dinner and not have anything left for us! Good value if you have 2 courses for £10 and good value for the kids.

We visited as a family after a visit to santa and the market. When we arrived they didn’t have our booking which I made over the phone, no problem we were still seated, they sat us in a window so it was light but we were as far from the buffet as possible! The room is huge and I can imagine that it’s great for a gig! However it was freezing, it was cold outside but it wasn’t much warmer in the main restaurant, the toilets were freezing and there was no hot water. The tables were clean and the food was hot and tasted ok. The window sills were filthy dusty and the whole place felt a bit dank, like someone else said the place has loads of potential but it needs work and investment. It’s good value at £10 per person but I don’t think we will return in a hurry.

We booked a table for 1 o'clock. On arrival we were shown to our table which wasn't on the main floor. It was dark - for some reason there were no lights on in this area. A young lady came and said someone would be coming to take our drinks order. After 10 minutes another lady came and took our order. Another 10 minutes another lady came. Another 10 minutes a third lady came. At 1.30 our drinks arrived. We went to get our food. Not much meat left. There was a very small piece of beef (enough for one person), pork and turkey. I asked if there was any more beef and the lady said no as they were closing at 2pm. The advert did say they were open from 12 noon to 3pm.The veg left wasn't very hot and the gravy had almost run out. We then went for dessert and again very little left. My husband went to pay and again, due to only one person behind the bar, waited about 15 minutes to pay. Would advise if you decide to eat here try and be there about 12.30pm or before.Certainly value for money at £10 for 3 courses but I don't think we will be visiting again.

Sunday carvery was one of the best we have tried. For sure we'll be back ! Friendly staff and nothing too much trouble.

We came here for Sunday lunch after having seen a special offer- 3 courses for £10.We went about 1230 and there were a few people already seated. Sunday lunch is served from 12 until 3.The set up is that you are taken to a table, your drinks order taken and then it is help yourself buffet style for starter, main and dessert.There is lots of choice for all courses. For starter there was soup, garlic bread, salad, pate, samosas and onion rings. For main there was a choice of 4 meats as well as pie and mushroom stroganoff and then a wide selection of vegetables and Yorkshire puddings and stuffing. For dessert there was a choice of approximately 8 desserts.The food itself was very nice although the service lets it down. When we first went in we were taken to a table which was dirty and which had to be set. Staff were reasonably friendly but were disorganised, to the point where our plates weren't cleaned away between courses.When we went to pay, we went to the bar and had to wait over 10 minutes due to how disorganised staff were.Drinks are very expensive- especially for soft drinks when the drinks are cheap drinks from Lidl!We've tried it but don't think we will go back until it is run and organised properly

Great music venue in the centre of Gainsborough - needs to be used more!

Nos ganó entradas gratis para una noche de comedia. Cuando llegamos allí y hablé con gente que parece todo el mundo tenía entradas gratis para llenar el lugar ganado. Eso está bien, pero si se tienen problemas para llegar a las personas en su lugar de publicidad aparte de fb puede ser una buena idea y detalles de qué comida le hago una lista de precios, etc. menú Que un lado nos recibió un hombre muy agradable y sentado luego cola 30 minutos para nuestra primera copa por que nos dijeron que la comida estaba ya no nos han servido y otros estaban en cola para la comida finalmente decidieron servir la comida era sólo tarta y guisantes, pero a su crédito el pastel era maravilloso y el caballero que sirvió muy educado. Muebles mesas entonces adaptar cambiaron personas cambiaran por qué ello no se había hecho antes era confuso. El acto de comedia! ! ! La primera ley era un mago? ! El bar cerrado? ? Puedo entender que ellos no quieren que la gente puede moverse en un acto de comedia, pero al menos tienen servicio de mesa. 45 minutos más tarde bar abre por 15 minutos esperando para ser servido después de 20 minutos. Algunos hombres jóvenes frente a quería doble hay bebidas y nos dijeron que una bebida por cliente wow seguramente si tienes todos ellos en para el que quiera alimentado por hacer dinero en el bar, el bar tenía dos empleados en una chica joven que estaba claramente nuevo y sabía donde nada era o cualquier precios. Estaban mal equipado y el gerente del bar, así que odioso y trato deplorable. El bar cierra de nuevo! ! Nos sentamos en el segundo acto que estaba muriendo a sus pies luego fuimos ya que en 3 horas tenía dos bebidas y experimentar el peor tipo de servicio. La gestión en el Ayuntamiento tienen que concentrarse en un negocio y si tienen un evento seguro de que están preparados para ello, y quizás invertir en algunas existencias y personal experimentado. Nos encantaría probar el nuevo ayuntamiento no sólo mientras estas personas están a cargo. Fue la guinda del pastel cuando nos íbamos el comparar preguntando la gente que visitar el bar para tomar con ellos todos sus vacíos! ! ! Los platos de la comida estaban en nuestra mesa en toda la noche no se los quitaron.

El año pasado leí que iban a abrir este lugar.Me enteré que lo hicieron en noviembre de 2016 (no han hecho tanta publicidad!).Decidimos ir a ver un tributo albondigas razonables en 17 libras. 50, que incluía una comida de 2 platos.El lugar es limpio y ordenado, mi único problema es cómo juntos las mesas están - la persona detrás de mí no pararon de golpear mi silla toda la noche.La comida era genial. Se sirve en una especie de estilo asador, mandaron las mesas. Había una enorme variedad de ensaladas, incluyendo carnes italiano que fácilmente podría justificar un entrante. La elección de los platos principales era razonable y muy sabroso. Finalmente una buena selección de postres nos dejó muy completo!Teniendo en cuenta la falta de publicidad, el lugar estaba bastante lleno. La señorita que me atendio en el bar dijo asistencia mantienen mejor cada semana.Realmente espero que hacen un éxito de la Gainsborough necesita lugares como este!La opción de entretenimiento era magnífico. Tienen una variedad de actos alineados, así que sin duda volveré de nuevo.
