Pizzas are always amazing! Whether you want half and half or pineapple on everything, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are amazing, and friendly. Would recommend Picante without hesitation. Definitely a 10/10.

We went in to order food to take away, the service was friendly, the menu was clear and the food was reasonably priced. We ordered a combo kebab that comes with donner meat, chicken breast kebab and shish kebab served on a garlic bread with salad and a choice of sauces. The food was prepared fresh and we didn't have to wait too long.

I've had a few meals from Piccante over the years and I keep coming back! The Shoebox is absolutely awesome! Really enjoy the pizzas, can't fault the burgers. Nice fries, better than other pizza shops. Staff are lovely too.

£6 for a half battered small Mars bar! Overpriced and low quality. They give away free battered Mars bars if you leave a review. That is why there are so many positive reviews. You can do better. For Mars bars all you need to do is 1. Use a proper size one 2. Reduce your price to something reasonable. 3. Batter it properly. Stop trying to con the tourists for a quick buck and just make better food.

Worst takeaway we've had since moving here, donner meat had weird taste and portion was small for near £7, pizza was bland, salad was boring, nicest thing was the mushrooms but they were actually burnt, nachos well...doritis with some tasteless plastic cheese on and no salsa... utterly gross and a waste of money.

Sent the Mrs in to get the smallest tray of doner meat possible. Not a kebab just a couple of quids worth of meat. They charged her £6.80 for this! Absolute rip off, what a shame because they were one of the best in town but that is taking the p1ss sadly.

Had a combo kebab last night and it was delicious. Plenty of it as well with a sauce on top and a salad if you want one.

Food tasted great, ordered the mixed kebab on garlic bread with chilli sauce, genuinely best flavour kebab I've tried in town. Delivery was on time and food was hot.

Waited 80 minutes for a donner kebab chips ans a jacket tato, when it arrives its pretty much stone cold.... only ordered because the other half was ill and fancied the jacket tato. Won't be ordering again

Has always been an incredible place for food since I can remember and I've used this place since 2009. Always friendly service and as I've discovered tonight, still great tasting food. If you're in Gainsborough and don't get food here you're missing out.

1st time I've been. Was off the cuff, headed for the nearest pizza shop I could find open that took card payment. Was a bit sceptical after reading the negative reviews. However i was quite pleased, not fantastic but did the job. Pleasant staff, nice and clean place.

Ordered a large donner meat and chips, looked like it had been from last week.. absolute minging, food was cold and hard n burnt... 1st and last time ill be going there. Partners chips cheese and mayo was cold, ordered a large and it came as a small. Food wasn't freshly done, the homeless would of probably not even accepted it... straight in the bin, as replacement food would of been just as bad... disgusted.........

Ordered a large doner meat and chips and chips cheese and mayo for collection go there on time and still waiting for food. When they handed me the food I looked and they gave me a small chips cheese and mayo but charged me for a large.. got the food home and the food was cold... first time I've ordered from there and it will be the last time as well.. avoid avoid avoid...

Burnt pizza, overloaded with cheese, inedible. Donner kebab was served as not seen in a box before: poor watery salad at the bottom, then cold donner meat, then a cold uncut pitta bread just laid on top, and despite asking twice, no chilli sauce.

Ordered the shoe box kebab and was very disappointed at the quality of the meat. The donner meat had clearly been sat for some time before being served, it was very stale and luke warm. The lamb shish was so fatty it was completely inedible! In fairness the chicken was actually pretty nice. The chips were also cold and overall I’d rate the meal 1/10! What a disappointing experience, not to be repeated!

Last night I would have rated this probably a 3 * but after tonight no way. It's always been really good or really bad literally opposite ends of the scale. Last night my partner ordered, he had chips with bolagnaise and cheese, it was delicious a rectangle box packed with crispy chips loads of meat and thick tasty sauce totally covered in melted cheese, but tonight it was more like where's the meat and sauce, the portions were in square burger boxes, the chips were still hard in the middle, only half our order arrived. After a call they said they were packing the rest of the order, ready to be delivered. I asked why the portion was smaller than the day before, she said they had ran out of square boxes yesterday. And the portion would have been the same. No, it really wasn't. She offered to send a new lot of food, I accepted but the second set was just as bad. More grease than sauce. The portion side between the boxes weren't equal, one had hardly anything in, The pizza was swimming in grease, the burgers were OK but we will be finding ourselves a new takeaway. We were however sent a free bottle of Pepsi. It's not piccante it's piccanto !

I've been ordering take away for a while now and everytime, their food has been mouth watering. You read many reviews about various outlets but this is by far the best in Gainsborough!

Best burger and cheesy chips in town!

Ordered from piccante and when it arrived found hairs in my food! Absolutely disgusting! Will never order from there again!!

Reasonable on all counts, but price rise last night without any prior warning, price in shop and price on menu didn't tally with the extra £4.50 on my total. No reasonable answer. Will NOT be using again

Ordered for the first time today. Good pricing, good portion size, hot, good taste and service. I was pleasantly surprised and will most definitely be ordering again. Five stars and in my humble opinion the best take away in Gainsborough and I’ve tried most. Well done picante, you’ve gained a customer today.

Not impressed, extremely greasy, lacked cheese, they even said they ran out of onions????? We have Tesco & Morrisons here!!! Only good thing was customer service wasn't bad. Not recommended!

Very rude owner, used to be the best but has gone rapidly down hill over the past few months. If it's not cold then it's filthy food that I wouldn't even feed a dog!

Best taste of pizza in town for sure. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get delivered but well worth it. These guy know exactly what they are doing.
