My first ever veggie scotch egg today. Only disappointment was there was no way to heat it up. Good coffee and an excellent vegan pecan tart. The latter a tad expensive at £3.50 for a small slice. A good range of tables but slightly disconcerting that some tables are on a slope so be careful. Some have views across to media city. Sited in The Lowry there is access to some excellent toilets. Overall good value.

£4.25 for one of the blandest Ploughman's I have ever had is daylight robbery. I think the unnecessary plastic box probably had more flavour than the beige, bland cheese. In 2019, a salad needs to be more than Kos lettuce, tomatoes and grated carrot - I felt like I had gone back to 1970s Salford. I fancied a pie but at £6 a pop for a chicken pie, it would have been cheaper to buy a whole chicken. I opted for a cheese and potato pasty. But at £4, that was almost as much as LS Lowry was paid for the first painting he sold. It tasted ok, but the price left a sour taste in my mouth. At least the carrot cake was good.

A bright spacious area, within the Lowry where you can sit & watch the world go by with a hot or cold drink and various cakes, pastries and sandwiches. Worth a visit if you’re visiting MediaCity UK.

There are loads of shops nearby and shows on at the theatre. We had a coffee and bought some souvenirs in the shop which has lots of Lowry memorabilia. The toilets are very good and there are ramps for the disabled as well as a good information desk. To be recommended.

We needed to grab a quick lunch before a matinee. There is a nice selection of cafe type food and the coffee was good. The tables are arranged on either side of the wide entrance way to the art gallery so there is no 'atmosphere' but it's fine for a quick bite. The staff were friendly enough.

This cafe is a great place to stop of and have a drink and maybe a snack. It isn't made to be a place to have a large meal though but the drinks are nice.

Have been here twice. Pot of tea on both occasions very pleasant, and a generous pot as well. Second visit I was hungry and chose a plain cheese sandwich - for £2. Pretty overpriced. Staff don't seem particularly happy. The floor in the building slopes and there are steps, so you have to be alert when carrying a tray!

we asked for two tuna melts, and had to asked for them to be put back in oven, we got two hot chocolates, they were cold. when I went back to the counter, rather annoyed and said can I have two hot drinks this time, staff member Hanna said don't speak to me like that, can't you see we are busy and I told her don't speak to me like that young lady. staff need training as prices are probably high due to the amount of waste. £4.25 for a tuna melt and not even a bit of garnish

During the interval in the play at the Lowry, popped into the Tower Coffee Shop for a drink. A little on the pricey side - but good quality lemonade. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Nice touch with the recyclables bin for bottles.

Popped in on the way from the Lowry and wasn't disappointed. A nicely-produced cappuccino was quickly available, and the staff were pleasant.

We needed to grab a bite to eat quickly before a matinee at the Lowery theatre and this place was just the job. Set in the foyer of the theatre itself it is a nice place with excellent views of the Quays. It does a nice selection of cafe type food and we opted for a salmon and an egg mayonnaise sandwich. Really quite good and not badly priced at all.True, the seating area isn’t massive but there was still spaces when we were there. The coffee is very good as well!

Very nice filter coffee served by very friendly staff. Price for coffee very reasonable. Husband had a gluten free bakewell tart (that was overpriced in my opinion- £2.50!) which he did enjoy.

Avoid at all costs. I was at the Lowry for a show and wanted a light lunch. Opted for quiche and salad as the only other option was prepacked sandwiches. Should have had the sandwich as it could not have been worse than the quiche; it was wet, soggy and totally tasteless. Salad was a few leaves, 2 cherry tomatoes, 3 slices of cucumber and bell pepper. No salad dressings on offer. Had to ask for forks as none out in the cutlery dispenser. Also got a slice of very dry cake. The coffee was OK but very small, even though described as medium. Had to repeat the order 3 times as the gentleman serving obviously wasn't listening. To add insult to injury it was too dear even if it had been good quality.

Very nice coffee and tea, reasonably priced for its location. Good views, prompt friendly service. The only problem seemed to be the delay in clearing the tables when people had left. We struggled to find one that wasn't cluttered with empty trays, cups, sandwich wrappers etc. It wasn't particularly busy so someone needs to get a grip, it did look quite messy and off putting.

Poor experience, my wife ordered a vodka and coke. Coke was flat and the vodka was definitely not Smirnoff. We used to come here some time ago and was always a great place to go for cocktails, what a shame.

Went here for a coffee. It was disgusting. Tasted like water. We sat outside, had barely been there 2 minutes until a staff member came to tell us, abruptly, "we're closing in 15 minutes", no smile, no polite delivery. With hindsight we should have gone somewhere else but we were in a rush. There are plenty of other cafes, bars, restaurants in the area so go to our of those and avoid here.

Useless. Ordered from them so many times they always get my order wrong. This time I had an entire footlong not even arrive. Complete inbreds.
