Touro Brazilian Steakhouse in Brighton and Hove

Great if you like beef, but if you're waiting for other meats...they come far too infrequently. We also found ourselves inundated by meat servers in the first 30 minutes, then forgotten about. After waiting 45 minutes for any servers to come back to our table (yes, we had our green cards showing) we gave up and asked for the bill. Having made 3 requests to 3 different staff over a period of 25 minutes, we still had to go up and ask for the bill so we could settle up and leave. Again, if you like beef, you'll get value for money. If you prefer other meets or have gluten allergies (some of the meets are coated) far less so. Mixed reviews for mixed offering and mixed service.

Lovely restaurant, bit slow service bit of a pitty our mate passed out in the bathroom from an overdose, apart from that very nice.

So we were a little dubious about visiting here after seeing some of the previous reviews. However service was good. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming, and our bottle of wine we ordered arrived quickly. There was a good selection of side dishes and plenty of meat on offer. Staff regularly offered us different selections of meats, which were generally nice. Some cuts were a little salty, and as the restaurant became busier the steak became rarer. Wasn’t a problem for us, but imagine for some it would have been too undercooked. Pleasantly surprised by the bill, came in at £70 for 2 of us with a bottle of wine. We came away totally stuffed, so really good value for money.

Quite quiet when we went so we got a lot of meat brought out straight away and prawns, all cooked to perfection and even given a choice if we wanted it rare or well done for the steak! Service was good and polite!! All round nice place

Really good food and great quality. Staff are friendly however not always conversant. Hot buffet cold Buffet and endless supply of quality meats! What’s not to like! The tables and decor make it seem atmosphere poor but imagine when busy that’s not the case. With so much room maybe allow people more space to move freely. Watch out for the peppered steak :) it’s lovely but peppered.

Horrible service, wrote them that we celebrate our sons birthday, they did not even bother. Over the phone they said they will charge both kids kid prices, absolute lie, they charged full price. You cannot call it a buffet when you can eat some salad, and they watched how many times you try a bit of their steak or whatever. They basically came 3 times and gave a small piece of meat then avoided to come around us and others. Beside this they have overcharged us, you basically have to beg for a drink as you can see they clearly hate their job and the air conditioner os broken. Avoid this place if you can and go to cosmo, where the service is excellent just like the food, never overcharge you and celebrate your kids birthday or anyone's birthday. I can say this was the worst restaurant we ever visited.

What a great place! Can't fault the service, the food, the atmosphere. Was a little unsure what to expect, but really impressed overall. Thanks for the great food!

Paid £85 for two people, for a coke, a beer and two meals. Overcharged us by nearly £20!

Attentive service, good food. Don’t really see the point in going for the most expensive option, couldn’t find much difference to the next one down except for the fillet mignon which wasn’t that special.

All the meat was great lamb chops were nice but would have preferred boneless lamb.

Greet meal. Probably not one for the vegetarians.
