Went to buy food after reading the reviews. The person serving was friendly and patient as I had a large order as we had a big order. The owner was very friendly and also gave us a portion of their currys sauce to try as it's what they're known for. Spicy and tasty sauce, thank you! We will order again when meeting in Bristol next time!

Food turned up damaged so sent it back to witch I spoke to the restaurant lady who was very rude and then she hangs up the phone no food no refund not a happy customer

Something went wrong today. Could t eat the chips. Looked and tasted like they were warmed up from last week!! What a shame

Such potential to be lovely food but please taste your curry sauce, unbelievably salty and so much salt on the chips, it was just inedible. What a waste!

Been coming here for years not the same anymore now different people are running it curry sauce far to hot and spicy and twice got home to find wrong Oder and had to go back

Little pricey £3 for chips 🍟 not sure why it's so expensive compared to other take aways..... nearly fainted looking at the price of the spare ribs, but then all the pricing is really expensive when you look at them before you order.

Not consistent lately, one day it's great, another day fish not cooked proper ,flour all over fish inside batter, curry sauce powdery lumpy not good taste, maybe its different cook needs retraining,prawn crackers stale

Ordered Szechwan beef to be delivered by Uber eats. There was only 5 pieces of beef and Uber eats would not refund me . Very disappointing 😡

Wow! I was told about this place and how good it was. So I thought I would give it a try, and the food was fantastic. First of all, when I arrived, the que was out the door (a good sign) the food was gert lush (very nice for non Bristolians) it was hot and very good quality. I will definitely be going back for more. Gert lush!!!

Nice selection of local and Oriental food. Clarke's pies and pasties. Great fishcakes , everything is excellent. Chinese food is tops, especially chicken Chinese style and the Currie's are gurt lush Staff are lovely and welcoming. Very friendly. Love the place. Just wish It was closer.

Lived in this area 30 years only went here few times as found food disgusting but tried again last month and just wow wow wow new owners hurray everything was delicious.

Excellent range of take away food and meals for numerous people (up to 5, I believe). Usually quite a wait for items ordered, but you can pre-order over the phone to pick up when convenient. Only accept cash payment.

Me and my family have been coming here since I was boy, I'm 36 now. Very friendly family run take away that we all love. Editing original review and knocking a star off, chicken balls have gone from amazing to awful 😖. All soggy batter instead of chicken breast like they used to be.

We was recommended this place by friends and we are very impressed!!!We even go out of our way to get Chinese from here. The prices are so good too. We live around 15min drive and our food is still pipping hot when we get home. All is cooked to order and tastes amazing. We always get greated with a smile and a really friendly service, so good at interacting with the kids too

Gone downhill since the new owners have taken over, chicken balls and chow mein are very greasy and the prices have gone up, hopefully just teething issues but if doesn't improve will have to look for another Chinese, a shame as the old owners were great as was the food.

Haven't been their for years as moved out of the area but was visiting so had a takeaway. Friendly staff and food was hot, the only thing i had a small issue with was the ribs were a bit overdone and asked for them dry but when i reached where i was going they were covered in sauce but meal was nice and would definitely go back again.

I have been coming here for over 20 yrs. Family run business and so quick. Always friendly. Portions of a decent size and prices in comparison to other places is slightly cheaper. Food always tasty no greasy. The curry sauce is just the best ever. You really won't be disappointed.

Best Chinese takeaway around in my opinion. Can't beat the chicken curry with fried rice. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.

Chicken fried rice and curry sauce is the best I’ve ever had from a takeaway by far (the only food I’ve tasted nicer than from To’s garden is MY MUM’S 😊) highly recommend this Chinese takeaway (Woodland Way by 5ways traffic lights) it’s the best food and very polite and lovely staff. Thanks for the lovely meal and will definitely see you again soon

Been going here ever since we moved into our house about 10+ years and funny enough know the staff quite well as one of the women's children used to go to my primary school, curry sauce is the best I've had and there food is great!

Great food, friendly and reasonable prices

Rating based on their Chinese food which I think is now the best in the local area. Not always the most flavoursome and the cucumber in the prawn and cashew dish is a bit strange but overall the quality of the Chinese food is good. It doesn’t feel like it’s drenched in MSG and it tastes freshly cooked. Personally I really like their Szechuan chicken. Having today had their chips for the first time, I wouldn’t eat them again and wouldn’t recommend them; they were really quite bad. Stick to their Chinese and go to the fish and chip shop opposite Tesco express for that!
