Had a great time here dining with friends! It was a casual outing and we had great and affordable food. Service was also fast and special thanks to Mk for helping us with what to get and being patient with us. Will be coming back soon!

Had a great experience here—everything was smooth and well-managed from start to finish. Shoutout to Mk for being super helpful and professional throughout. You can tell he knows what he’s doing, and it made the whole process way easier. Definitely recommend this place if you want things done properly.

Had an amazing dine out last weekend with the best and kind staff, usually comes here very often and receive the best ever customer service from them.

ordered 2 burrito meals, one with chicken and one with vegan chilli .. both wraps had chicken in!

Arrived after my order was ready. Waited patiently and when not asked spoke to staff. They could not see my order and they would ask colleague. After another 5 minutes I was handed one of the bags that was there all along. Disappointed. Used to be be

I ordered my food at 5:37pm and didn’t get my food until 7:05pm. My food came cold, no sour cream in the burrito like I asked for, and that’s the 2nd time they haven’t added it - the cheese sauce for the tortilla chips went to hard mush after going cold as well.

First time visit, as trying to view the menu above the food station & 2 different staff told me to just use the point of sale machine & wouldn't answer any questions just said the POS system would do it. Had a basic burrito with no additions. Quick food, generous on the portion size of cheese/chicken/rice. Extremely stingy with guacamole. Tasty & fresh while filling a hunger void. Chairs are reminiscent of a 1980s school classroom. All 3 toilets seem to have plumbing issues for sinks as theres puddles below all of them.

The staff are very rude and need some training. The manager working the shift has a lot of attitude. I’m not impressed with the overall customer service skills this has persist on a number of occasions when I visited. This needs be addressed.

Fantastic Mexican Food & Great Service! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. They were happy to customize my order, and everything was served quickly. The restaurant was clean, with a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a quick and tasty meal.

My meal was originally scheduled arrive by 6:55 and it ended up finally getting to me at 8:11. By this time it was cold and soggy. I’m in recovery from an eating disorder and getting a takeout was a challenge set for me by my therapist. The complication just added to my stress and anxiety. Not impressed especially as it wasn’t cheap!

Horrible smelly food. Before you eat a spoon you can feel the food is not fresh and really rude staff. Staff does not want to work hard. I only eat few veggies and so I asked them to put more sweetcorn and they refused but they did not see I used to eat with them for last 3 years and have given them so much business. I think it’s good i stopped eating from this place as anyways they were not providing fresh and good quality food .

Always a reliable high street lunch

I cannot in good faith go back to this restaurant after what I experienced. I ordered 2 large meal sets and a quesadilla. But got a tiny portion of basically rice for my burrito. However, this was not what put me off, the staff assured me that the tortillas were fresh every day, but then opened a bag of tortilla chips in front of me to decant into a bag. To say the tortilla chips were inedible was an understatement, they tasted of bleach and the staff refused to smell the bags they gave me even after I returned them twice because they were disgusting. The worst part was that the chips I returned were then placed into the box they were using to grab bags from so the chips I returned for being inedible were given to ANOTHER CUSTOMER after I had handled them. Tried to put the rubbish in the bin afterwards but it was stacked with everyone else's rubbish and tables were not wiped down so hygiene has gone out of the window. This is such a shame as we used to enjoy going to Tortilla but having a lack of hygiene, smaller portions and a general disregard for customer safety means I cannot return unless something is changed. I remember that once upon a time where you got something that understood English taking your order and you were full afterwards, but it seems cutting corners repeatedly is just leading to a massive degradation of the food and service.

I liked Tortilla and the shop at Watford Atria is nice to sit and enjoy the food. However, since Tortilla changed to ordering via touch screen terminals instead of telling the person directly which ingredients to put into a burrito or bowl, Tortilla has lost its special flair and quality of food has decreased. The options to combine different salsa are very limited ( one can choose 2 out of 7 including lettuce), but one can choose 4 add ons while there are only 3 options available. The quantities have reduced and the flavours and spicing of the meats are not that good anymore. While prices go up.

Good food, Don't like the new self service machines

Ive worked at intu centre for over 7 years and been going to this restaurant as i like the options and chipotle wasn't an option. Service has always been nice and clean restaurant. The reason i’m leaving this review is because the services at these restaurants are getting out of control and if you calculate getting a meal at least once to twice a week they've made money off of me. I went in to make my order. I see what seems to be a team leader doing delivery orders. I waited patiently only not to be acknowledged, as i waited patiently i guess staff saw i was waiting and directed me to the self service machine as he was too busy doing other orders, this is what he actually told me. Mind you there’s like 3-4 other staff so im sure one of them could have served me, which thats how it usually is and should work, as delivery customers are just as important customers as walk-ins. I was so shocked at what he said i said excuse me come again. As he caught me off guard and was being rude he corrected himself and said could you go to the machine to make order. I said no as i like my bowl a certain way, he was rude and theres other people that can help. He didn't try to do anything to take my order as the machines and online dont give certain options. I took it as he didn't want my money as if he doesn’t realise these machines his sending me to will soon take his job. I left to go to chipotle. It was a little bit further. Waisted my time waiting patiently thinking i was going to be served. The service at chipotle was amazing and the food taste better including the chips. Will not be going back to tortilla. If the team leader doesn't have proper training how do you expect the rest of the staff to behave.

The order tasted nice. However, it was not hot and there was not enough of some components which was disappointing.

They have increased prices and reduced portions. Staff is not friendly and polite. They have systems to place order but I prefer checking what all they put, I might need mix of rice, less vegetables and more beans, how much salsa etc but now they bluntly ask you to sit on your table and they will bring whatever they want to add. Not worth it

This place used to be great but now they make you order at the screens which limits your selection. You don't get to talk to a human and choose all the fillings which is half the fun of a burrito bar. Its a real shame to demote the nice staff to food serving robots like other fast food place.

They've increased the price but they reduced the quantity, every ingredient apart of rice looks like is gold, I barely could notice any cheese or sour cream,any the price they asking for guacamole and they only adding quarter spoon it's painful. I missed to eat there as they used to be good for the price ,but now you just not hungry anymore after watching how they are serving the food . Painful,ever again .

Ordered through uber eats and I ordered naked veg grill bowl. Tortilla sent a burrito instead of the bowl. I am allergic to gluten. I called Tortilla and they said i had to call uber eats to get a refund. I asked them "what am I supposed to eat as Im allergic to gluten and cannot eat what they have sent" Their response was " I am sorry we cannot do anything as we have just closed the shop" WOW. When contacting Uber , they only refunded me for half of the meal.....this is disgusting service. Leaving me with no option but to order from elsewhere, total cost of dinner cost more than a sit-down restaurant meal. Ridiculous customer service.

A very bad experience and for sure the last one at Watford: burnt chicken, unhelpful staff, small portion. I wouldn't give you a star! I made the order at self check-out and of course it wasn't what I had in mind. I asked the staff where is the manager and why is not labelled each product (smashed beef, etc. ) what you are selling so customer be able to order the food they want. A blue-eyed woman (probably the manager or supervisor there) was avoiding to answer my questions and was looking at me why I do not know your food. Totally unhelpful!!! Because it was a take away food with 3 dishes once I reached home I noticed the medium order ( chicken open buritto) - one of them because I had two, was more like small. Half of the container! And also it had black burnt chicken both dishes!!! See photos! For Tortilla management: if you want to still sell you need good managers, and not to sell burnt meat . And also the portion must be always the same. The staff puts less to spare some of the work they do.

Never take the offers because you might as well become vegan. Just rice in a wrap . Meat as legged it and as a professional worker. Who's honest. Defo won't be ordering again.. People work hard for there money. Have some respect

Never turned up! Restaurant didn’t help and couldn’t tell me where it was. Refund please

After a lovely evening out with my wife, I headed to meet her at the food counter where she had kindly decided to order for both of us. To my surprise, the server was attempting to charge her an outrageous £40 for two meals, even though the correct total should have been just £18. I pointed out the mistake, but instead of fixing it, the server chuckled arrogantly, as if it was no big deal. It felt like an outright scam. To make matters worse, the food was mediocre at best, nowhere near the quality of other takeaways we've enjoyed in Edgware. I'd advise anyone to steer clear of this place – it's a rip-off and the service is appalling.

Great place, always very nice and lovely when you order online or in person. The manager is ever so lovely and so are other members of staff I speak to when ordering in person or via ubereats. Great team.

Food okay but service needs some attention

The staff at the Watford Branch who were serving food today between 12:30-1:30pm need additional training on what a “portion size” is and to follow the given guidelines. The gentleman who put the additional toppings on my order scattered exactly 8 pieces of corn on top of my order which was not the portion size of the spoon in which Tortilla states is given per customer. The small white lady who was in black did not make the atmosphere welcoming and made me feel very uncomfortable whilst eating.

The food at Tortilla is appetising and flavoursome. It fresh and filling. Most of the menu if gluten free and dairy free. A great place to refuel for a busy day

Amazing food and was served by Mo who was very pleasant and attentive.

Food was tasty unfortunately the service wasn’t that good ,food portion had a nose dive and sudden change of behaviour: frosty and dismissive when they noticed I was wearing a star of David necklace :( I came to eat and not to be judged. I won’t go there again and definitely won’t recommend it to my friends.

It was a horrible experience with racist flavour coming from the staff. This is a pro Palestinian and antisemitic oriented restaurant . I will never go there or recommend anyone. The food is average and you pay extra for avocado! And any other basic Mexican burrito filling. Go to lots of other restaurants who deserve our visit. Nothing went down well and I left half of it in my plate

Not the best burrito. Nothing really fresh in it. Texture just felt samey and not very tasty. £40 for three of us to eat. Three burritos (Two chicken and one pork), 2 cans of fizzy drink (One coke and One Cherry) and an orange juice, with 3 sides of nachos, as part of a meal deal. The nachos didn't come with any dip, dry as hell. Just very disappointing. The UK just doesn't do Mexican food very well. I don't know why this is. I assume Mexican food, is all about fresh zingy ingredients. How hard can it be to make good take away food? Next time I will stick with my local burrito shack in Chipping Barnet Town centre! Now they know how to get the best out of ingredients. Tortilla Watford, a never to be repeated experience!

Terrible! You order a burrito like the one on the pics and then they ask you: “ you want meat? That’s extra 1£” , “you want salad? Oh, that’s extra 2€? What a fraud. Everyone reading this, avoid this place!!! The meat is full of fat, clean meat to find is like a bingo win!

Disappoint and unhappy with the lady manager’s behaviour. She is a short white- healthy lady. The name starts with J on her badge. I know her name but don’t want to take it. Don’t know how to speak and communicate with customers. Honestly rude! I visited yesterday and I am a regular customer. Her behaviour is not normal as always. Disrespecting her staff in front of everyone for no reason. Happened on National Burrito Day as well. A very stingy person when it comes to portion. Always it turns into an argument with customers when she is serving. Staff seems to be too scared of her because it’s not normal behaviour from her side. As a company, tortilla food is nice as always but the manager’s behaviour seems to be unhealthy for the company honestly. Not gonna recommend this branch.

I was recently in the restaurant enjoying my meal, but the meal was ruined with the argument between the customer and the manager....the manager was a short white lady who was really rude...it was not a good atmosphere so I left the restaurant immediately...👎

Rude staff especially the manager, it was a white short lady, the price seems to be okay but the portions are terrible. They don't know how to speak politely I was in the restaurant when a customer was nicely asking the difference and it turned into a big argument when the short lady got Involved. Never coming back.

Unhappy staff, bleak food coupled with high prices.

Absolutely shocking service and attitude from the staff. My friend and I both ordered a large burrito. My one was 50% smaller than my friend's and the person's directly in front of us, despite choosing almost the exact same ingredients. It had significantly less filling. I pointed this out to the staff and suggested I should only pay for a medium given the size difference, or they should remake it. The staff refused both options and offered no recourse, but instead shamelessly argued with me about this and created a hostile atmosphere which made everyone present uncomfortable. Then who I assume was the manager (a short, overweight, belligerent woman) got involved and embarrassed herself by claiming there was "barely a difference between them". This was a blatant lie. I proceeded to tell them we would not be paying for the meal and I would be leaving a bad review, to which the woman claimed I was threatening her personally. I assured her it was not a threat, but a statement of intent. She then became extremely rude and demanded that we leave immediately. This occured on 4/4/24 at around 8:15pm. I have never encountered such a group of snide, deceitful, argumentative, pathetic workers in any restaurant I have ever visited. Tortilla ought to look into both their hiring practices and their training. I wish I could give zero stars and I urge readers to beware of the toxic nature of the staff in this establishment.

Had to throw away half of my bowl in the bin as I found a piece of plastic bag in my meal. The staff were just standing and chatting to each other didn't seem to bother about dining area.

I found the food really tasty and my server who made my buritto was quite knowledgeable on all the toppings and flavour profiles. Staff are really nice and happy. They even cared to check if I was enjoying my meal which I loved. Shout out to the whole team and keep it up. I will definitely be back. My only regret is that I didn’t come dine in sooner!
