A very pleasant, clean pub where you can drink and eat small dishes while waiting for the bus to Harry Potter studio.

Great pub to spend the night good food too

We came here 2 days in a row , Yasmine and (I’m sorry I think the ginger guys name was Ben ) were such lovely people. Hospitality is a hard and busy industry to stay positive in so I hope their manager knows how good of a duo they have !! We love some decent pub grub and the food did not disappoint! Good atmosphere from plenty of TVs with the football and good music. The darts room was very fun. Good pint of Guinness to add! Thanks a mill

Arrived with my partner and very very well looked after and a warm welcome from Beth Howard made sure we were ok at all times really enjoyed our time and will be returning.

We ate on the way to the WB studios. Something quick and pretty good. It must be fun to go for drinks at night since they have dart boards and some other games. You order at the bar and pay, you choose a table, you give the number to the waitress and they serve you at the table. We liked it a lot, we would return 😉

Visited here with a few friends for food and drinks … we had an amazing time! The food was really good! Drinks too and very reasonably priced! The lovely Hannah looked after us and really made our visit memorable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Hannah and team :)

This O'Neills is conveniently situated next door to the main train station in Watford. You would have thought that the owners would have thrown a bit of cash at it by now as the building is looking a bit tired, and the less said about the state of the gents toilets..... the better. Service is great and you're spoilt when it comes to sport on TV, but they really need to give the building a bit of a spruce , especially the toilets. Good selection on tap by the way.

We only came to O'Neills to play darts at Arrowsmiths for my husbands birthday, so can't comment on food. Ash served us our drinks and when it was time to play darts Ash talked us through how to play and got us started. Throughout the 90 minutes, Ash came to check everything was OK with us and if we wanted any more drinks. Very attentive and polite. Overall we had a lovely experience and would recommend going here. And thank you Ash for looking after us.

Is what it is an O'Neill's pub used to be the pendent and the flag in the past train station next door which is handy if you're waiting for a train .... Live music on certain nights of the week the usual pub bar menu..

Ash was a great host and the food came out hot and quickly, whilst accommodating to our requests.

A late booking to watch England rugby & snacks for my son's birthday. If time, we were also going to try some darts. We had a great time, table right in front of the TV, snacks ordered with the bar and provided promptly and tasted great. After the rugby we asked about space in Arrowsmiths and a lovely young lady sorted us a booth. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend Arrowsmiths and O'Neill's as an excellent venue. Hoping to return again soon

Staying in Watford and decided to go for a drink and found this lovely pub and a lad James banks set us up on the dart boards so friendly and great help, we had such a good time we went back the next night and had good it was also amazing

We called early today and they guaranteed that they had the match on : Real Madrid - Barcelona. We purchased more than £50 drinks and food to be ready for the match. At 7.45pm they channel wasn't on, at 8.10pm the game wasn't still on and the guy we spoke to was extremely rude, saying, it has nothing to do with me, I didn't promise you anything. This kind of service and behaviour want get you good customers back. Shame because I like your chain but this experience changed my mind. Poor and disrespectul service. Can't trust O Neil's anymore.

Oct24- didn't eat. Used car park and staff friendly when I dropped something and went back to collect. Apr22-The food is good and if ordered on QR code at table arrives timely. App can be a bit temperamental. All the vegan/veggie tapas unavailable (except chips) and staff said "I don't know you'll have to ask the shift manager I'm just a team member" when asked any question. Veggie sausages main not bad at all, sadly not fresh veg but packet/frozen steamed with it. Curly fries a nice additonal.choice. Macaroni cheese wasn't bad. Fish n chips ok. Prices not too bad at all. Staff mostly surly and slow. The Shift Mgr was the only one who smiled and looked like they/she wanted to be there. Slightly put us off staying but we were there with friends who had a young kid being babysat and needed to stay local. Busy for a Wednesday early Eve to night. £65 for 4 mains, one starter and 3 alcoholic & 1 soft drink. Good value

I was delighted with the hospitable staff. More specifically Hannah, served us almost all night and did a stellar job!

I was given food that was frozen the middle. When I mentioned it to the server he was very rude about it and cynically asked ‘if I wanted my food ‘extra hot’ maybe? It’s giving me a serious health concern when they don’t cook the food through and don’t even care! When they gave me replacement the waiter again said now it was ‘extra hot’ this how! Patronising and disrespectful behaviour! I suggest serious training to staff and ‘chef’

Came in from work on the train late and decided to go in for a drink while I waited for my friend to pick me up. The lady at the bar, Julia, was really friendly and spoke to me while I waited as it was quiet.

Myself and my wife went here today for lunch. We walked in and spoke to the staff about ordering food then sat down at a table. To then be told by the same staff member a few minutes later they were not taking anymore food orders because in his words “something was going on in Watford” and then someone else was placing a food order as we were leaving. Absolute joke of a place. If zero stars was possible I’d have put that

The best pub to eat and drink in Watford. The beer is great, I asked them to recommend some and they gave me several to try. You have to order at the bar. The burger is one of the best I've ever had and the bangers and mash are great too. The music and the atmosphere is great even to go with children, we were there with our daughter. I would go again without a doubt

It's okay. A lively pub and is great for drinks & meeting up with friends. Food was awful, truly. We had 2 margaritas which came out quick & looking very anaemic and were tasteless. Tables were sticky which I guess is expected but still pretty grim! Stick to the booze - don't bother with food.

Lively Irish Pub, with an extensive menu. We tried a burger, a Chicken Tika Masala and a "spice bag". All tasty, the chicken really good, and the spice bag fun to try. Staff chatty and in a good mood.

We were coming from the Harry Potter tour and it was raining a lot so we decided to stop by to have a beer and something to eat: Excellent idea! The place is very good, it has delicious food and a lot of beers! The atmosphere also seemed great and no reservation was necessary.

We went to arrowsmith for our work do, we had Josh as our server nothing was too much for this guy absolute asset to the team, probably the best team night out ever, would recommend!!!

Had our staff party here we had a buffet and darts, Josh was our host and he was fantastic, we did not have to go to the bar all night josh would take our order and bring the drinks to us (remembering everyone's drinks order which was great as there was alot of us!) Josh made the night great he is an asset to the team and very friendly! Would deffinatly recommend a night out here to friends/family. Thanks Josh

Friendly atmosphere, busy at times, staff is considerate.

Pub was run like a youth club. Bartenders swearing right next to my children. When the menu says from the grill it should say burnt from the grill. Fire alarm went off and instead of saying can you leave we were shouted at to get out. No egg on the mixed grill but probably saved me from food poisoning.

1 star because I can’t give less. This is unacceptable. We arrived at 8:57pm asking if they were still serving food and they said yes. Just the time to look at the menu, we want to order at 9:02 and « we are not serving anymore ». You cannot be serious ! why didn’t you tell me we had less than 2 minutes to order or to order right now ? Shame on you

Played arrowsmiths tonight with the girlfriend. Great music, lovely staff, quick service. Been here a few times this year and had excellent service the whole time. Would always recommend for a great laugh.

Had a meal and a pint there the other day, food was nice, staff was friendly and had a good atmosphere. Would recommend.
