Tortilla Silverburn in Glasgow City

Price increase: quality decrease. Our burritos were slopped together, and rolled with no care. Rice recipe has changed for the worse. We won’t be back.

If ever tempted by that mexican burrito place in Silverburn "Tortilla". Don't be. My slow cooked pork and bean burrito was exceedingly wet and I can tell you exactly at which point of my lower intestine it is in (on demand).

Just the look of the food counter was putting me off,manky dirty,this place should be shut down,we had the nachos the smell off them then the taste was total rank,they where left..the churros never had hot runny hazelnut dripping out them,they where so over cooked the chocolate was hard,then the Diet Coke we order was replaced with normal coke,staff hanging around when they could be cleaning there counters..NOT be back and unless you aren’t fuss nobody should go near this place,,at least they had the decency to refund us,thank you for that…it has ring sting all over it this place

So I went to the tortilla in Silverburn Glasgow. After ordering my food I get told it’s card payment only. I’m part of the generation where digital banking has become the norm but even I think this company refusing legal tender (cash) is absolutely ridiculous. It’s societal control and it’s the new world order. I walked away angry and hungry. Do better tortilla!

Not 1 for been fussy or to complain, but this food served to us today was absolutely disgusting, totally Inedible, could not even been eating!! Will defo never make a return!!

Had a burrito bowl. I am vegetarian and therefore went for the grilled veg option. Usually I enjoy my visits here but as I was halfway through my bowl I was chewing on a chunk of chicken. Quickly spat it out and seen that it was very pink/red in colour. Sadly this is enough to put me off a future visit- disappointed to say the least. For a company who claims to be vegetarian/vegan friendly the staff at this particular branch have been utterly careless in separating meat products and veg.

Popped in for lunch the other day. The place is a bit like subway you pick a size and a filling and there are lots of options. The service was pleasant. We had a large and medium burrito and a small guacamole and chips £15 not to bad for lunch. The options were quite spicy too so not a bland burrito. If I am visiting Silverburn again I'd go back.

Tasteless, soggy, and lukewarm. Sour cream was more like sour milk. The "chunky" salsa got slapped on like wallpaper paste - no attempt was made to drain it - leaving the burrito like a sponge. The beans were tasteless and pretty horrible to look at - like frog spawn that had went off! Staff were also a bit unenthusiastic. I wish I could thing of something positive but I cant - sorry.

Unfortunatley most of their Staff were not wearing masks. It made us feel unsafe and we won't return.

Ate here for lunch, first visit as everywhere else we fancied was too busy. We had burritos and while I can say they were tasty enough, I did feel they were a bit overpriced for what they were. 2 beef burritos and 2 cans of juice was just over £18. Also very messy, a paper plate and some cutlery would have been a help. Had to go back to checkout and ask for cups or a straw for juice. An ok experience but will not make a return visit.

Ordered delivery, total price over £12. The delivery was quick but the food quality was rubbish. Taco shells were soggy, filling was minimal. Not Mexican either, more indian in the spice.
