Barburrito in Glasgow City

Avoid. So little rice in the burrito it was like trying to eat a bag of liquid. Very flimsy wheat tortilla. Fillings not well distributed.

It was good. Food was nice and I would go back.

Do not order from here online unless you like cold food. The riders don’t even like this place coz they cant deal with the volume especially at peak times and weekends! Avoid. Try Taco bells and thank me later!

Foods nice but they put their prices up and when you buy the “Loaded” option which is double meat the meat they now add is less but they charge 90p per meat more irregardless of what the person serving you says. They said everything in the yellow section of the menu is included (but it’s not included in the price). Pricing needs to be more transparent. The food prices went up and the size they give of each ingredient is less now so it’s a lot more expensive overall. Might just be the one store visited in Queen st but really don’t like this new pricing structure on their menu.

Fresh ingredients, well seasoned chicken, however the salsa almost ruined the experience and isn’t nice at all.

Worst burrito I’ve ever had! All the food was dry and old, if we hadn’t already started the process we would have just walked out. Rice was crunchy it was so old. Super disappointing, seems to have really gone downhill!

Food was okay. Staff were extremely rude, pushy & unhelpful. Place was empty yet they treated us like we were bothering them.

Been in here multiple times and this is the best location in Glasgow for a burrito. The California burrito is unbeatable in my opinion! Have had a few lunches in here that have been a little bit cold but it's more often than not still super tasty even if it's not roasting. The location is always clean and tidy so no issues there at all.

Brilliant wee place for some REALLY amazing food in a fast food place style but you can grab a beer with it too!!! Lovely staff can't really fault it at all apart from it was really quiet and I don't get why. We chose to dine in. Definitely give it a go if you like Mexican Munch.

Ordered a veg burrito and was sent a bowl with uncut peppers and onions. Literally 2 half peppers were tossed in the bowl. Missing ingredients as well.

Easy to order, friendly staff, excellent range of choices, all fresh & hot. Had a chicken burrito, very filling & enough for dinner. Would sit further away from the door next time as was quite cold with delivery drivers going in & out.

Go there most times before football with my son and friends have taken visiting business colleagues as the food staff and value for money if amazing you get so much excellent quality food for the price you pay … Helpful staff and the place is spotless nice friendly relaxed atmosphere handy for both Queen Street and Glasgow Central station… thoroughly recommend

The Barbacoa was sweet (it’s not supposed to be at all), the burrito had chips in it and the sweetness of the barbacoa overpowered any sense of savour you’d expect from a burrito

Edit: 3 stars down to 1. The place has gone downhill since. Seems like the staff are forced to work by a mafia at gunpoint. Lots of training is needed, cleanliness and hygiene seem to he a thing of the past here.

Ate the vegan burrito 🌯 and it was really delicious

I got brownies from a too good to go bag and had the most disgusting pair of brownies I've ever had. I can understand a too good to go bag not being completely fresh, but it was absolutely revolting. I don't know if this brownie has something special in it or if it's full of rat poison to use as bait for rodents, but what I ate wasn't made with real food. My friend took a bite from the first one and started dry heaving at the taste as I was curious I took a sniff of the other one and felt instantly sick after tasting it myself I had to open the car door and spit it out, which is cruel fate for the poor animal that thinks it has lucked out and found some sweet treat only to be bombarded with the taste of putrid, rotten "brownie"

Ordered via Uber Eats, where they’re listed as ‘Rebel Vegan Kitchen’. This name indicates that the business is 100% vegan, which it is not. The food was uninspired, stone cold, flavourless and very poorly packaged. Very disappointing.

The food (we all had chicken and beef burritos and nachos) was delicious. Large range of fresh fillings in a full counter. Staff were very attentive and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Clean and very well presented restaurant. Will definitely be back when we return to Glasgow 😃😋

My husband and I visited the Queen Street restaurant earlier this week and enjoyed a very nice meal. Good sized portions made with fresh ingredients at a very reasonable price. Great value for money is really important in this cost of living crisis.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good experience all round.

These are the best burritos outside of Tijuana. The guacamole is not dissimilar to what the apostles rustled up for Jesus at the last supper. I once saw Michael Keaton ordering nachos to takeaway here.

This place has forgotten cheese and guacamole every time I’ve ordered online. When I got in-touch with the social media team they tried to blame the delivery partner for forgetting cheese and guacamole on multiple orders. It’s so over priced for a burrito as well. JUST DON’T GO HERE there are better places to get burritos in glasgow.

Worst Mexican food I've ever had, no flavour, food was cold, and everything was messy. It's like fast food, I'd recommend Topalobombas for real Mexican food.

Good food and atmosphere, those are undeniable. Service though leaves something to be desired. I arrived at 12.15 expecting a quick lunch even though there was a queue - and I left at 12.45 with nine people still ahead of me and the staff busy making a mountain of burritoes for a delivery order. While I have no qualms with the food from my previous visit here - and the atmosphere is lovely - customers who're waiting in line really should be prioritized especially given the proximity of the shop to Strathclyde university and the limited lunch time that students may have.

Excellent burrito served here. Never know why these places can't simplify their burrito menu, but that's the only fault! Really tasty, good sized portions and great authentic ingredients 👍

I’ve never been to Bar Burrito before, and Stephanie was terrific. She welcomed us and walked us through the burrito building process. She is a star. And the food is terrific.

It's a good barburrito store. Tables and restaurant are clean, service is fast and friendly. Never had any issues here.

This was needed after having a blast the night before. We had been dancing and drinking until the wee hours and needed something tasty to help us feel human before we went to the airport. The naked burrito was tasty but the big burrito was delish! Lovely customer service. xo

The place is supposed to close at 22hrs, I arrived there 21:30 on a Saturday night and it was already closed! We couldn’t even place a take away order. If the place closes at 21:30 the Working hours on Google and on the door sign should be updated!

Excellent comes to mind! The grandest, loaded burrito ever. Mine was filled with chicken and everything else. Hubby had beef. They even laughed at the poor joke...."coo"(sorry). We will be back.

Yes, I got a burrito while in Scotland. This place was better than almost anything in the states.

The staff were efficient at making the burritos and the service was all fine, but the food was a bit too bland - the pulled pork could have done with more seasoning, a coriander option would have been nice to top it all off and the 'spicy' beans and the 'medium hot' spicy salsa didn't actually have much heat at all.

It's always freshly prepared, and you can personalise your order any which way you want. Can't fault it and it's my go to when I fancy some Mexican!

Yes to this place, a great chain, great locations and great seating to enable people watching! Super easy to order also. We had the naked chicken bowl with brown rice and all the trimmings. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious, we had the regular size which we shared.
