Nice place. Good food. Good portion size. Benefits from city centre location

sat in a lovely wee nook and had nachos on a rainy day after work. Great value for money, friendly staff and not too crowded Really enjoyed it - the guacamole was especially lovely - and 5 stars for the cheese sauce.

Entire order was spilled in the carry bag

First time in a Bar Burrito today, travelling from Wales we don't have one near us so had no clue what to do. The lovely lady at the counter was oh so helpful and told me the entire process, listed all the toppings and salsa's. She was amazing! Thank you! The food was amazing, everything tasted fresh and was super hot! I couldn't finish it all as was VERY filling. Never had Garlic rice before either, delicious! Thanks again!

Only our second visit so still a little unsure how it worked but staff guided us and were so helpful and thoughtful all three guys serving out front.

Love the service in this Bar Burrito! It’s very organised and quick. A young girl called Holly made sure we had everything we needed and even recommended some nice desserts for a little sweet treat.

Was expecting better quality for the price.

Having been to several other Barburrito locations over the last few years I had an expectation of mediocre food, but what I got was terrible. I got a tiny burrito, consisting of a miniscule amount of filling rolled into a very touch and chewy tortilla, served to me stone cold. I ate half before giving up, and then spent the rest of the day feeling very unwell. I will not be a patron of Barburrito again at any location.

Best burritos in Glasgow hands down, and great value

Used to be alright. Now just the usual penny pinching measures. You get loads of rice with almost nothing else. Tiny portion of black beans scooped onto a massive bed of rice. Beans don't cost enough to acting like that. Also no pinto beans anymore. My partner got a burrito which was very small and was bland. Pick the hot salsa if you want to taste anything. Also guac costs a full pound extra which is abit nuts even in this economy.

This place has gone down massively. Used to be a great place for lunch and would grab one near enough every day but now after several menu changes they’ve increased the price so much and cut the meat portion sizes it’s not worth it even when the offers on the app would be seen as good.

Barburrito is my happy place,I love the food. When we plan a trip to Glasgow I can't stop thinking about it till we get there.The staff are always so friendly and helpful.Hope to be back really soon.

Another fab experience from one of my favourite places. Staff are always patient and helpful. Tried the loaded mexi fries for the first time and they were really good! Perfect portion for lunch! Chips were freshly made to order, had a large selection of toppings including salsa, sweetcorn, pick onion and nachos to top. Toppings were mostly free and washed it all down with a couple of Jarritos! Would suggest adding kimchi to the menu. What more can a man ask for when looking for a scran on an afternoon in the city. Mmm

Food was stone cold and completely tasteless, portions are nothing like the photos. Really disappointed, £45 spent for it to all go straight in the bin

Love this place!! They are always cheery and the food is great value for money, they have a great loyalty program and the restaurant always have great music

big pot guacamole was missing from order. Portions of chicken were tiny , looked nothing like the pictures and were about a quarter of the size with no sauce. Loaded chips portion was around half or the portion in the picture. everything was dry and bland. The pineapple and jalapeño salsa was nice but there was less than half a pot. Don't be fooled by the 40% discount as even at paying 60% it's not worth it.

food was good however let down by the fact that the burritos were not clearly marked distinguishing them. Further despite getting the deal we only got one portion of tortilla chips and the wrong can of juice.

This place used to be good but ever since they changed the menu a while ago it's been terrible. The new salsas are horrible but the worst part is that the burritos are just so bland now, it's like there's no seasoning used at all. Very disappointing, definitely won't be back.

Burritos are amazing, best I’ve had in Glasgow! Lots of choice on the menu including all sorts of dietaries catered for inc vegan etc. Allergies and other reqs taken care of which is great. Friendly and helpful staff providing efficient service and good craic. Highly recommend the chorizo filling with the mango habenera - spicy af though so be warned! Restaurant is clean and comfortable, well planned layout and the banana wet floor signs are cool too.

the churros tasted burnt and there was an actual chip in the bottom of the bowl they came in, as in fried potato, as on fish and chips.

Best Mexican food in the world best staff

I visited this location few days ago as being in a rush and craving for Mexican lunch I was happy to see Barburrito on my way. This was my first time in this location. I was promptly served by the manager Robert. I am normally happy with the food quality in Barburrito and this time didn't disappoint either - probably even more content as the burrito was assembled with skill and care avoiding being messy when eating. The location was clean and welcoming - certainly will consider stopping by next time I am around.

churros were dry and a pitiful amount of the wrong dip given, should have been dulce de leche but was given chocolate with barely enough sauce for 2 churros, let alone for 6. can't fault the burritos and nachos, they were amazing, very fresh tasting and great toppings, only other issue was it was all rather cold by the time it arrived.

Not bad. Decent for a quick snack and staff were friendly. It's a Mexican subway really so cheap and cheerful. Didn't make me want to dance around a Sombrero but I left with a happy belly.

Placed an order that was accepted then after 50 minutes of waiting (and the time the food was supposed to arrive) they cancelled my order. Waited an hour for nothing. Ignore these scam artists.

I wouldn't put it in my top 10 for Glasgow but if you want tasty, quick comfort food, this will do it. Adding chorizo chunks to the burritos gives a good kick of flavour. Usually quiet when I go, so not much atmosphere, but a quite place to eat in central Glasgow can be soothing.

Foods nice but they put their prices up and when you buy the “Loaded” option which is double meat the meat they now add is less but they charge 90p per meat more irregardless of what the person serving you says. They said everything in the yellow section of the menu is included (but it’s not included in the price). Pricing needs to be more transparent. The food prices went up and the size they give of each ingredient is less now so it’s a lot more expensive overall. Might just be the one store visited in Queen st but really don’t like this new pricing structure on their menu. The reason why you speak to a person is that they help you navigate the menu and understand the prices involved. They should make it clearer when you choose the Loaded option what the pricing implications are. The food here is tasty just you need to have enough ingredients to make it really tasty. Hope this is fixed by now so no one has the same experience with the Loaded option but in fairness the food is tasty even if you unexpectedly have to pay 3 or 4 pounds more.

Great tasting food, reasonably priced. Great rewards programme through the app. Service is quick and the staff pointed out that I had a reward on my account which was about to expire so got my burrito for £6!

A Mexican eatery like no other! Ce paso pandejo! I felt like Neruda, and dined like Picasso in the ancient city of Tenochtitlan. Of Mayans and Incas, Columbus sailed his seas, a conquistador of his time. The rice of heroes, the chorizo of the lamb - do not judge this book by its cover. Greeted by the facist admiral, his expression left nothing but fear. The machete master, he structured our tortillas in the latest fashion. A surprise underneath each treasure chest, what awaited for me unknown. Mounds of gold or a pit of serpents. We will find out in due course. Slither on into the day, but never look back into the eye of the missile.

Food was OK empty tables full of rubbish that lazy customers obviously couldn't be bothered binning,but saying that either could the staff,felt a bit lifeless aswell.

Portion sizes aren’t worth what you’re paying. Churros taste like spring rolls. Chips and dip are tragic as well.

Best bar burrito I’ve been in! The shop was super clean and the service from the staff was top tier. Didn’t understand the discounts available so the manager took his time to talk me through it kindly! Food was also yummy will definitely be back! Thank you mark + team :)

The burritos were perfectly wrapped and tasted great. The drinks were chilled too. I felt the burrito I ate was of good quality and had lots of flavour. The fillings were balanced too, like there was a good sized portion of meat, rice and vegetables. I chose the Barbacoa Beef with black beans, garlic rice, lettuce, pink onions and a mild salsa sauce. I enjoyed it very much. This is probably the best place you're going to get proper burritos so give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't believe how tasty the food was and the prices were such good value. Definitely be back. The quick service on my lunch break makes all the difference.
