Barburrito in Glasgow City

Tasteless burritos! tried both chicken & beef and there was no flavour at all just bland food!

Not bad. Decent for a quick snack and staff were friendly. It's a Mexican subway really so cheap and cheerful. Didn't make me want to dance around a Sombrero but I left with a happy belly.

Placed an order that was accepted then after 50 minutes of waiting (and the time the food was supposed to arrive) they cancelled my order. Waited an hour for nothing. Ignore these scam artists.

Went for my birthday burrito and it was so great, I went back to get a fully loaded with cheesy fries and churros!

33 quid for 2 burritos and 2 drinks. Bit pricey

I wouldn't put it in my top 10 for Glasgow but if you want tasty, quick comfort food, this will do it. Adding chorizo chunks to the burritos gives a good kick of flavour. Usually quiet when I go, so not much atmosphere, but a quite place to eat in central Glasgow can be soothing.

Foods nice but they put their prices up and when you buy the “Loaded” option which is double meat the meat they now add is less but they charge 90p per meat more irregardless of what the person serving you says. They said everything in the yellow section of the menu is included (but it’s not included in the price). Pricing needs to be more transparent. The food prices went up and the size they give of each ingredient is less now so it’s a lot more expensive overall. Might just be the one store visited in Queen st but really don’t like this new pricing structure on their menu. The reason why you speak to a person is that they help you navigate the menu and understand the prices involved. They should make it clearer when you choose the Loaded option what the pricing implications are. The food here is tasty just you need to have enough ingredients to make it really tasty. Hope this is fixed by now so no one has the same experience with the Loaded option but in fairness the food is tasty even if you unexpectedly have to pay 3 or 4 pounds more.

Great tasting food, reasonably priced. Great rewards programme through the app. Service is quick and the staff pointed out that I had a reward on my account which was about to expire so got my burrito for £6!

A Mexican eatery like no other! Ce paso pandejo! I felt like Neruda, and dined like Picasso in the ancient city of Tenochtitlan. Of Mayans and Incas, Columbus sailed his seas, a conquistador of his time. The rice of heroes, the chorizo of the lamb - do not judge this book by its cover. Greeted by the facist admiral, his expression left nothing but fear. The machete master, he structured our tortillas in the latest fashion. A surprise underneath each treasure chest, what awaited for me unknown. Mounds of gold or a pit of serpents. We will find out in due course. Slither on into the day, but never look back into the eye of the missile.

Food was OK empty tables full of rubbish that lazy customers obviously couldn't be bothered binning,but saying that either could the staff,felt a bit lifeless aswell.

Portion sizes aren’t worth what you’re paying. Churros taste like spring rolls. Chips and dip are tragic as well.

Best bar burrito I’ve been in! The shop was super clean and the service from the staff was top tier. Didn’t understand the discounts available so the manager took his time to talk me through it kindly! Food was also yummy will definitely be back! Thank you mark + team :)

The burritos were perfectly wrapped and tasted great. The drinks were chilled too. I felt the burrito I ate was of good quality and had lots of flavour. The fillings were balanced too, like there was a good sized portion of meat, rice and vegetables. I chose the Barbacoa Beef with black beans, garlic rice, lettuce, pink onions and a mild salsa sauce. I enjoyed it very much. This is probably the best place you're going to get proper burritos so give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't believe how tasty the food was and the prices were such good value. Definitely be back. The quick service on my lunch break makes all the difference.

I had the most wonderful meal in Barburrito, a loaded vegetarian burrito - the vegan chicken and mango salsa combination is delicious. Thank you for the great, friendly and fast service Hollie!

La tortilla de harina se tocó rápidamente en el calentador y luego se le dio el más pequeño de los rellenos de carne con un chorrito de otros trozos. ¡Todo estaba frío! El artículo terminado era básicamente un frío desastre empapado. La envoltura se cayó a pedazos, lo que significa que pronto en el arranque estaba recogiendo tibio relleno de dedos. Parecía haber un gerente supervisando los esfuerzos del personal que estaba haciendo un desastre de lo que debería ser una preparación de alimentos muy simple. Por el precio es justo esperar comida auténtica caliente y sabrosa.

Honestly the worst burrito I had, had one table spoon of chicken and extra charge if you want more. I really don’t understand how it has such a high rating.

Extremely disappointing experience. The burrito was completely tasteless, the tables were dirty, soda coke was warm, and the noise from the AC unit was unbearable. We ended up leaving after just a few bites. Waste of money abd time …

I’ve been there several times and the food is ok but the service is absolutely dire. They routinely leave people waiting until a queue of multiple people builds up and they appear to look for things to do other than serve, like stapling Deliveroo receipts or wiping down clean counters. It’s a shame because the staff really lets the place down. Someone should tell them that all paying customers bring revenue. With food that’s otherwise so good the service really leaves a bad taste in your mouth 😟👎

Our order wasn’t the best. Always saw Barburrito as a treat. Bit expensive but worth it. Our order tonight however has seen the quality go way downhill. Smaller portions. Fries were hard. Quality just wasn’t there. Very disappointed that one of our favourite takeaways

The pricing is not transparent, so you quickly end up spending way more than expected.

With a huge desire for a messy chunky tasty burrito, we went to Bar burrito expecting too much, or at least something they were before. We took 4 different portions, all were too small, tortillas were raw, cheese not melted, guacamole and other salads tasteless, when asked for additional salad, you get the smallest three bits of salad, and it’s the same with every other thing that is even included. To be fair, have no idea what was included since the price said that I added everything 😅 staff a bit rude and visibly annoyed, unfortunately all of them. Definitely not worth the hype, but the atmosphere gets 4 stars since the restaurant looks cute and other people were cool!

I don’t know where to start… when I walked in I was greeted with a comment from the staff saying I have a massive spot on my nose, I then made my order and was told that I wasn’t aloud to put rice on my tostada. I’m pretty sure one of them farted when boxing up my nachos
