The food was good, but the three employees who served us were all rude. I don't write bad reviews about people, I have worked in the same industry before, but seriously, customer service is always important. It was my first time to order and they didn't even bother to explain it to me properly. Had to experiment and every thing I pointed out, they just responded with an additional 1 pound. It's okay, but train your people to have a good attitude when explaining things to people who are unfamiliar so that they don't end up ordering crap and waste their money.

Great food, friendly staff. It’s in the food court area of the station so not exactly a calm spot, but decent seating. Could be cleaner but we found a nice spot to sit and eat.

Lovely Mexican food, the quesadillas and burritos are iconic, I love the loyalty card and system too. Have enjoyed a few free burritos with my girlfriend and will continue too as I can’t help myself getting a few whenever I go past.

I ordered chicken asado bowl and was sent a barbacao bowl. I’m a Hindu and Barbacao bowl contains beef, which I ate while I took the first bite of my food. Consuming beef is against my religious and this act has hurt my religious sentiments. I’m not ordering again from Tortilla and posting a very angry review about the same online.

Usually I get from here and it’s great but 3 of my ingredients I chose where missed out sour cream, cheese and black beens very disappointing

Absolute waste of time told me my food would be with me 4:40 I paid for priority and it went past 4:40 and still said the person was waiting to pick my food up the status said wrapping up at 4:40 when it should of been with me at 4:40 one of the worst places to order from food was freezing

Very considerate and thoughtful service by Qasim and Haf. Offering to change gloves to roll my burrito cause I don't eat meat and being able to offered extra beans goes a long way.

Staff were quiet and not very approachable. Didn’t speak loudly enough and then seemed frustrated when you couldn’t hear them. Cashier was rude. Food was tasty but wasn’t worth the amount you pay.

Horrible service. It was my first time coming here so I wasn’t familiar with all the salsas etc and staff were mumbling to me and were annoyed, making unpleasant facial expressions and looked hesitant to repeat themselves or talk louder. Burrito was just ok.

Expensive burritoes that contained a thimble of meat. Two tiny cubes of chicken to be precise. Disgraceful given the £12.99 price tag. Would not recommend at all unless you're happy with just beans rice and sweetcorn.

Heading home and fancied a burrito to stave on the hunger until tea time 😉 Yum yum had chicken and was very good. Servers very efficient and did the job. In, sit, eat and then gone all in 10 mins 👍

STAFF WERE SO GOOD we had no clue what we doing we were confused but they were real helpful. tacos 2 for 1 on Tuesdays in April!!!!! hot sauce was surprisingly hot! Do recommend!

I eat here often (burritos are the best) the food is always good, but today I was served by Eden, Esther and another lad who I unfortunately didn’t catch his name. Everyone was so kind & full of positive energy, especially Esther. Work sucks but it’s lovely to see a team getting on so well and protecting such professional, kind & welcoming energy. Thank you for the smiles :D

I am a big lover of Tortilla and usually love it there. Please mind there was 3 people on shift at least, there was no big queue or anything like that, yet the cleaning station was overflown woth rubbish and tables were equally as bad. Mine and my friend's tortilla were not wrapped tightly enough and mostly were fallen apart, making it more like a burrito bowl, with no bowl... just mess. A shame really as the staff were nice and polite.

Nice meal, well prepared in the middle of the Grand Central Station in Birmingham City Center. Its perfectly located by the Bullring so that after shopping you can pop in for a quick meal.

Used to go a lot pre-COVID. Popped in last night on the way to the mighty Villa. The service was desperately slow. I could feel myself aging as I waited. And how come everything is a £1 extra now? Beef? That’s a £1, avocado? that’s a £1? Doubt I will ever bother again. More atmosphere in a vacuum. Think the grand central as a retail hub is slowly dying and the decline of service and quality in this place is indicative of the whole.

Great advice from Nicole about what to try as it was my first time eating there. And great advice it was! Comfy booths to sit in to eat - and clean & tidy! Great value for money.

I was missing half the food and drink. It was cold and pretty tasteless

Service was pretty good here but my gosh, the churros were soggy, cold and disgusting (they weren’t fried properly). The wrap was also not even cooked long enough. As my wrap was being prepared, their thermometer to monitor the temperature of the beef fell into the food - no apology or acknowledgement at all from the staff. The rice was cold too..

Great place, fresh food. My only gripe is that when you order a large you get the same amount of food than if you got a regular, just in a bigger container. If they were a bit more generous with the portions it'd be 5. Staff always very friendly though

The driver was friendly, much quicker than expected and it was a pleasure talking to him. The restaurant sent me the wrong order which i was not happy with but I have requested my money back with no issue

Absolutely love this place! Always my go to for burritos either on the go or to eat in and relax. I have to say the hospitality of everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. You can’t go wrong, definitely check this place out!!!

Tasty and colourful meal. Got the Chicken Phibil Bowl (only the chicken is halal) the new and improved recipe has so much more taste, I recommend all of the toppings, Mexican rice, all salsas, sour cream, Monterey cheese, sweet corn and guacamole. Once mixed, all the flavours mesh really well, like an explosion of flavours. If ordering as takeout, keep in mind that the meal will be a bit cold due to the salad but still delicious! The meal is pretty healthy, around 600 calories, it’s very filling so you would be full throughout the whole day. Definitely recommend!

You know, England doesn't have the best Mexican food but Tortilla is some of the best I've found here so far for burritos (which feels absolutely wild to say given it's a chain restaurant). Always delicious flavours filled to the brim to make a satisfying lunch. The standard customisation and speed of service are good and I've eaten here a decent amount over the past few years with little to no issues or disappointment. If I'm in the mood for burrito it's definitely my go to.

Ashanti, Pre, Sareena, Alicia were awesome with their services. The food really hit the spot. Great options for vegans as well. I'm definitely going back.... Try this place if you're in or around Birmingham.

Shrinkflation really hit this place hard. Went for large size and extra meat and it was essentially £14 for a bowl of rice with a regular amount of chicken. Dread to think how much a small would have. My friends burrito was pretty much all rice. My friend that opted for no rice had a ridiculously small amount of salad in it. Also chips & dips were missing from the order. This place was great a couple years ago… time to try somewhere else. Wish Birmingham had a chipotle.

As per other comments, very disappointed that the chicken has changed - it is now soggy and tasteless. Also no longer have the coriander rice. Burrito is now very bland with nothing having any flavour/taste. Lost a regular customer.

Great lunch meal whilst visiting Birmingham, great food, good value and a very hot hot sauce. Service was amazing great banter with Eden and Angie. Thank you both for making it so special.

Qasim was very helpful, polite and efficient with the way he served me. I ordered a large burrito with beef and added guach and cheese. It was carefully prepared infront of me and tasted delicious! I enjoyed his recommendation to try it with the salsa on the table as it added the right kind of heat and favour I was looking for. I will definitely return another time to try other items on the menu.

Just made a pit stop at Tortilla's Grand Central branch with my friend and I must say that the service was immaculate we were served in such a genuine and respectful manner that for sure we'll be returning, the two sisters that served me and my friend were very polite and provided us with such a kind and thoughtful service it was one of the best services I've ever experienced and they should definitely be rewarded for their efforts with a raise or a dior bag or whatever they want cuz they deserve it. Alejandra and the sister with the blue hijab and glasses (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) thank you for your service keep it up you guys are great! P.S. Alejandra thank you for letting me pay for my friend's food too... Told you I'd leave a review.

The food is delicious with generous portions. The staff are attentive and friendly, even joking with us. Plenty of seating space and a great range of drinks including craft beer.

25 minutes queuing for an awful, lukewarm burrito. It's no surprise considering how long it was left sat on the counter. The person managing the staff seriously needs to do a better job of teaching them how to work together, it was painful to watch how disorganised this 'production line' was.

Food was ok, staff need to be a bit more polite and patient. Not just me but others around me had the same issue. For people that may not have been there before you need to give them time to understand instead of just snapping back. Frozen margarita was lovely.

They keep trying to push fillings on you, and it gets to be too expensive. Watery flavourless burrito. Vegetarian filling wasn't too bad.

They have changed they way the cook the chicken and it's horrible ! It used to be grilled on a flat top but now they appear to be boiling it as the texture is that of boiled Chicken and there is no flavour to it. It's also a very unappetising yellow colour. The Pork and Beef are excellent and this has always been the best in town for a Burrito but it's a pity that they have ruined the Chicken ....

Always get the chicken from here but they've not changed the recipe which isn't as tasty as the old chicken :( new chicken tastes bland and processed, why change a classic when there's nothing wrong with it in the first place
