Great restaurant. Everything is made fresh to order. Does take some time for waiters to come to table. Prices are suitable

Came in the other day and food was delicious and flavourful. The waiter was so lovely and kind and kept coming over asking if we wanted any drinks etc. Which was lovely. A lovely atmosphere here and the interior is beautiful! Bet it would look amazing in the summer time!!

Really nice interior, was quiet when we went so can't say much about atmosphere. Server was very friendly and accommodating, food wasn't the best but for the price can't complain! Good place to go before the movies or bowling.

50% off TACOS on Thursday actually means you get half the portion aswell.

The service was really good. The food was out very very quickly though, which explains the 3 days of food poisoning afterwards. Thankfully we all had different things and I was the only one hit with it. The wings are no good, but the food poisoning was worse! Staff were and always have been great though, but after coming every few months, I won't be returning after being so ill

The food was really tasty and the atmosphere was great. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff were absolutely excellent. They were so friendly which made the whole experience really memorable, specifically Sunny was an incredible server, such a lovely person and an asset the the restaurant - genuinely the best service I have ever had. We would go back and recommend this to anyone.

Visited on a Saturday & it was practically empty so the atmosphere was lacking. Food was average, very small portions for disproportionate prices. Cocktails were watery and tasteless. Service was good, just a shame the food and drinks weren't 😔

Spoilt by having no heating, apparently it’s a regular occurrence. Thought it was cold as we sat by the window then asked to move us which they did. Still really cold noticed everyone was wearing their hats and coats!! Why not mention it when we arrived!!! Ridiculous very poor representation… won’t be returning….

My wife and I, have just been for our night out and it was not disappointing, the food was absolutely fantastic, full of flavour, meat was juicy and tender, perfectly seasoned. It wasn't expensive either. We will definitely be back.

Never been before. Party of 13. Staff were lovely and went out of their way for us. Amazing food and well presented. It was my partner's birthday and they wrote Happy birthday on his dessert plate even though we only mentioned it once in general conversation so it was nice to have that extra touch. Cannot wait to come back and try another one of their meals.

Popped in for lunch not been since it was Chiquitos pre covid.The decor is a bit mismatched now but the welcome was spot on.Great service and really tasty food.Not over priced at all.We will definitely be back.

We went to Perios tonight for Taco Tuesday. I was very surprised by the decor, tasteful, Insta friendly, warming and welcome. I was blown away by the taste of the food. I’ve got to get me some of the XXXXX Picante sauce. The service was also very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Nice place. Service was a bit slow (especially considering how quiet the place was) . But the food was lovely. Deserts are a bit pricey for what they are. Taco Tuesdays are very good value mains.

I went yesterday and omg!!! The food was amazing. The first time I have been here and I am 100% coming back to this outstanding restaurant. The food did not disappoint and me and my friends absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was also stunning and made me feel as if I was in Mexico.

Returning to the Perios in Rubery, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the taste had undergone a remarkable transformation. The dishes have had a delightful change since the last time I came. I came here on Friday and the food now burst with incredible flavour and authenticity. It was as if my taste buds had rediscovered Mexico. If you've had reservations about this place before, I highly recommend giving it another chance. The food has undergone a fantastic revival.

I went down here with a few friends after bowling and it was nothing shy of perfection from the amazing service and the food was excellent bursting with flavours and the perfect portion will definitely head down and eat here again

Visited with friends for an evening meal. Very quiet. Service was excellent. Good choice of foods available and all very tasty. Visited again this evening for Taco Tuesday at 7.30pm Again service and food was good. Although when I asked for food to take away at 9.00pm we were told the kitchen was closed but we could order dessert! The smell of bleach was not nice with the lovely salted caramel dessert 😕

First time eating at Perios! The service was very good, but a special mention for excellent customer service to Ashley and Alex! ❤️ My boyfriend and I wanted to try something different from the usual, and we thought Perios would be delicious judging from the appetising menu. I had a Chicken quesadilla with fries on the side, and my boyfriend had a Chicken burrito bowl. The food was very good, and the servings have a good balance between meat and vegetables, and the veg was crispy and not soggy! Our food definitely had a good amount of sauce in it, but not too much that it was drowning in sauce hahahaa Also the fries were nice and crispy too! My only reason for giving the food 4 stars instead of 5 stars is, because the quesadilla did fall apart a bit when I took the first bite out of it, and the chicken did fall out quite a bit, but that was probably because I had a chunky chicken filling in my quesadilla which I’m not upset about since it was so tasty, but of course there is always room for improvement so that the filling doesn’t fall out. Thank you for a pleasant first time experience at Perios! We’ll definitely eat at Perios again! 👍

Beautiful place very well decorated. Outstanding service from the manager sunny. Helped us though the menu and drinks selection. He also explained some of the dishes some good advice about the food. All the staff are very helpful. Would come again just for the Outstanding service.

I refuse to share the rest of my review until they change those god awful uniforms. There are prison outfits less degrading than those colour combinations. Heck a hospital gown would be less offensive on the eyes, with a bloody open back too! Truly shocked anyone thought that would look good, sort it out and stop degrading your staff. Not everyone's into that sorta thing!

I lived near Texas border for years and fancied trying Perios as Mexican food is like English growing up with Indian restaurants. I ha tried the earlier Mexico Chiquito restaurant in same building. It was spicy food but not Mexican in flavour and preparation. Pelios is excellent Mexican. Well prepared and full of flavours. Very good service including phone call to explain substitution. Great addition to our area. Just used the delivery service and looking forward to dining in next,

Overall Perios was amazing. This was our first time here prior to going to watch Oppenheimer at the cinema. Food was delicious and the service was incredible. Our server was Adele, she was attentive, funny and polite. (Hope she gets to read this!) Based off of this experience we would highly recommend this place and we will be back again very soon.

Super fit out and authentic flavours. We were a group of four and sampled mock tails, cocktails and to top it off Madre was on draft. Service was swift and friendly with a friendly front of house. The food tasted fresh and really liked the array of flavour and temperature options.,we will definately be back!

Sunny was really helpful and suggested a dish that could be tailored for me, and explained why other dishes wouldn’t be suitable. I appreciate this kind of honesty and knowledge, and it really makes me feel confident that my food will be as safe as possible for me. I had the veg chilli taco and rice…it was incredible! So fresh and tasty. My husband took advantage of the ‘50% off taco Tuesday’ offer and had the veg chilli taco and chicken taco, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We were stuffed, so declined the offer to see the dessert menu. After a little while, Sunny happily approached the table and placed down two desserts in front of us: a chocolate brownie (which was gluten free!) and ice cream with caramel sauce. He said we ‘can always find room for pudding’ 😆 And he was right. We practically inhaled the desserts they were so tasty. That brownie was one of the best I’ve ever tasted - warm, gooey and crunchy at the same time. It was heavenly. Sunny’s hospitality was outstanding. He’s the nicest person and made our experience so special. And he didn’t even know we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary! Food amazing, full of flavours, loads of choice. Restaurant has a great atmosphere about it and the staff are amazing. Shout out to Adel for the high level of service! Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely adore this place. Have visited several times in the past year and each time the food is just a delight. It's a great atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff too. It's not cheap but a) they do Blue Light Card discount and b) the quality of the food is well worth it.

I went with my daughter around mid afternoon. The food & mocktails were excellent quality. My 7 month old seemed to like the atmosphere a lot with its low lighting and cheerful colours. Got chatting to the manager Sunny, who is friendly and accommodating. I had a pram to fit next to the table and also managed to spill a drink towards the end but was promptly helped by him. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food & service combo. I’ll be coming back with some other people for sure! Thanks PERIOS Team 🤗

Everything was good, but the coffee machine had broken down, so I couldn't have a coffee or hot chocolate.

Oh my goodness, where do I start 🥰, ...!? (Perio's in Longbridge) ....Service were are really good , staff seem lovely. lovely drinks and meal delicious. For my meal I had the Chicken Tacos with the BBQ sauce 😋 absolute heaven on a plate 🍽️ ! For drinks I enjoyed a single Jameson whiskey with orange , and then Captain Morgan rum with cranberry , water , last drink were a strawberry 🍓 daiquiri ... delicious 😆 Yes some things on the menu seems expensive but I'm telling you in Perio's they are worth it for sure , you get what you pay for ...trust me . Great more so for a special occasion, and a nice treat 😉😜 I love the decor and the layout. They do , do takeaways for us all to order , of which I sure will one of the days 😏 and visit again. Oh and they do table service nowadays by the way and then you pay the bill after they bring it to you , yes you can pay by card aswell as cash. (Pics to follow) however the pics don't do it justice ⚖️ pfft. Also , it's wheelchair access and I'm adamant they will accommodate you to a perfect table 😁 Family friendly too 🙂

Not what it used to be! When we first starting going the chicken burrito was £8.50 it’s now £14.50. There is inflation, and there is taking the piss. This is not worth the price. Slow service, followed with a wait for at least 10 mins for a drink. Will not be returning and we used to go several times a week.The music is chart music which does not match the theme of the restaurant, it felt awkward and out of place.

Visited on Saturday 19/08, I had the steak tacos. Food was 10/10 as always and the two chaps who served me were very friendly and helpful.

Visited many times, usually pretty good however this visit was pretty bad. After being interrogated for 20 mins by a manager of some sort about my daughters age ( she does not carry ID and doesn’t need to under English law if with a parent, after confirming this with an area manager after a long call, in uncomfortable circumstances,and agreeing, the mood was already ruined, and we really should have left. ) then so called “cocktails” were served. I use this term loosely as it was syrup with a small amount of alcohol. Barely drinkable, charged at £25 per jug….. 🙈 Food was ok. Other Staff were great, manager 100% needs more training. Has put me off returning, which is a shame.

I would of given 5 stars to Perios should they have been more accommodating to patrons with allergies. The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, and the food came out piping hot. However, almost everything except the tortilla chips contain garlic, and when asked if they could accommodate a meal with no garlic, the answer was basically no. Less than impressive for a modern restaurant when IBS is becoming more prolific and better understood. Yes, I realise this is a Mexican restaurant, but I have been to plenty that can help support this health condition. This is not a choice for me. I hope this review is helpful to anyone with an allergy to fructans (onion/garlic).

A pre cinema visit on a Tuesday evening. The place was virtually empty, mind you we were very early in the evening. Staff very welcoming. Drinks came promptly. We order chicken burrito bowl and steak burrito bowl. Food served quickly, a delight for the eyes and...Best of all...absolutely delicious!!! Partner had cheesecake for sweet..again delicious. Would definitely recommend

lovely evening out for food here tonight. had a bit of a wait unfortunately, but our server Emma was lovely and so helpful, brought our whole table a free drink each over and gave us some free nachos and dips whilst waiting for our food. Will definitely be returning, thanks to Emma :)

Service was sub par and food was small for the price. Bin was knocked over in toilets and contents spilt on the floor. Toilets were also filthy despite the inspection sheet on the door. However, spiced food was nice and the 2 other customers that were there also thought so.

The place is absolutely stunning with great ambience and polite and friendly service. The food was amazing. We were not familiar with the mexican foods but Hydher, the gentleman who served us was so kind and patient with us, he walked us through the whole menu. Highly recommended 👌.

Lovely surprise when going to the Cinema, Perios had Tacos Tuesday - all tacos half price! We were served by the lovely Emma who told us about the half price tacos and we had a nice mixed platter and two beers for just £30 all in! Emma went out of her way to make sure we liked the Mexican beer choice as uncertain, and offered to remove from bill if didn't like. She also chased the food as we were running slightly late for the Cinema. Overall super experience and amazing value!

You can really see it’s a family owned restaurant, the food was amazing and the service staff were fantastic. And I really appreciate the bottle of hot sauce.

Visited last week after school for the first time since changed from Chiquitos. It's basically exactly the same layout as before but with new paint, decorations and upholstery. Looks really clean and positive. A lovely vibe. Maybe the music was slightly too loud. We had an extremely attentive waiter. Our food order was sent to a different table however. And then another tables order got sent to us. Not a very clever epos system? But as another reviewer has said, it's the food that lets it down. The nachos didn't have any melted cheese, as stated on the menu, just the squeezey orange cheese. They weren't short of cheese in the quesadilla or Mac and cheese... So not sure why they omitted this. My son's food was bland, and his drink choice as part of the kids menu was water, so we expected bottled water ... Except it was tap. Why specifically put water on the kids menu? Bizarre. Portion size on the quesadilla was small for the cost. I did mention the cheese on the nachos to a manager who didn't do anything - excellent customer service! Nice atmosphere, one excellent waiter, but will not come back again.

Went here on Saturday to the Rubery Perios. Me and the person I went with both thoroughly enjoyed the food we had. We were looking for a full meal that wasn't too unhealthy and not like fast food. We ordered: a Chicken Burrito Al Pastor, a Grilled Chicken Burrito with the Hola Herbs sauce, a 6 piece chicken wings with mild chilli and lime sauce, and the refried beans, along with a glass of cranberry juice and glass of mango juice. I do think the mango juice was mango puree, not actual juice, however I feel this is very standard for mango juice and have never had any mango juice that I believed to be actual juice squeezed from a mango, so it's not a big issue. Everything was cooked very nicely, I liked how the wrap of the burrito was also toasted to add crunch and helped the burrito maintain its structure, so it's fillings didn't spill everywhere. I would say the Al Pastor chicken burrito had a little too much tomato for my taste, but this is just a personal preference. Also it said it would come with pineapple which I was looking forward to, but there was none. However, this is a minor drawback. I have had better refried beans before, but it was still enjoyable and I like how it was served with tortilla chips. The most enjoyable item we ordered was the 6 piece chicken wings however. The sauce on the wings with the mildly spicy chilli and the tangy lime was a delightful combination and I'd definitely recommend this choice if you go here. Another positive comment is that normally at restaurants you only get either the flat or the drum section of the wings, but, to our delight, we were served the entire wings, drum and flat. Definitely worth the money we paid, and I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for a reasonably priced Tex-Mex experience. I'd certainly go back here again.

Lovely, well-decorated place in a good location. The Restuarant was full of people… so not so ideal if you’re looking to enjoy a quiet and calm date. The staff… very friendly and readily available. Food was really tasty and also affordable. The sweet potato chips …my favorite. We got a free dip btw☺️ Will I visit again? Yes.
