I had visited with family for lunch and food was delicious .The service was friendly and quick and the server named Karolina took us through the menu swiftly and professionaly

Cool little tortilla and burrito place in Islington. Great for pre-gig food. I should have tried the hot salsa because the medium was mild for me. Chicken and pinto beans inside served with tortilla chips. Meal deal is £11. Excellent. Friendly service. Many thanks.

I am not a review guy ,but I guess this place deserves one. I am always a fan of their burritos, especially the beef which is just AMAZING! alongside their frozen margaritas, making the the perfect pair ever. Service wise, compared to many places, i would say they have really amazing service ,everyone seemed to be joyful and giving a good vibe and love what they doing (which you don't see that often in London), manager was helpful answering my queries, so yeah ,lovely place ,definitely must try👌

Firstly, there’s no pork. There were 2 people serving and 2 people in the queue and it took me about 20 minutes to get my burrito. Some of the dead slowest service I’ve ever had. Was so unhappy to spend so much time waiting for an average burrito

Food was decent but not enough chicken to justify the price of the burrito which is disappointing as I've come here many times before and gotten more.

In case you are expecting an actual California burrito, there are no French fries! Solid burrito though. Don’t ask for rice on your salad you’ll get attitude instead.

Really enjoy Tortilla. But every time I’ve ordered food from this location they’ve forgotten an item or just given us a different item to what we ordered. Shame.

I recently visited this restaurant and had the pleasure of trying their delicious naked burrito. The flavors were amazing, and the portion size was generous. What made my experience even better was the excellent service provided by Abdul. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure that everything was perfect throughout my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for the tasty naked burrito and the fantastic staff like Abdul who make dining here a delightful experience.

I went this morning to tortilla in angle for my first time, I orderd a burrito and it was delicious, I like the way the team explain everything about their products, I also sign up for their loyalty club card. Definitely will come back

Tiny place but good food and amazing staff

I ordered a chicken burrito and a chicken quesadilla for takeaway. The food was tasty, but the portions were very small, especially the quesadilla, considering I ordered large portions. So in that respect, it is was disappointing.

For London a decent price for portion, but nothing exceptional. Be aware of 'add ons' which can seriously dent your purse. Restaurant has seating inside, with vegans catered for if you make a point of saying.

great atmosphere along with friendly workers

It’s my fav place to have a healthy filling dinner. Today was made especially fun by Ash at Tortilla Islington who provided excellent service with some great,polite conversation. Definitely recommend coming here and it’s really because of Ash’s service that I got around to writing a review today.

It was such a nice experience, the staff was happy working there they were engaging and made us feel at home. The manager was very welcoming and checked on us after we finished, the portions were more than decent and food was delicious. We will come back.

This specific Tortilla is amazing - I regular go to tortilla but this is the best one I’ve been to. Both the day & night staff are phenomenal and such hardworkers! Always feels refreshing to come here!

There's something about this place, maybe the vibe or the people who run it. I have always loved coming here for the tortilla. Although I genuinely believe food quality can improve but they definitely have a culture of service which I admire. For ex today I had a tough day at work and their manager Ash had a chat with us and it felt it's okay. I think it's quality of people like Ash that I'd come here again. World needs more people like Ash and more brands like Tortilla for the culture they have built!

Wow! Fantastic. Very similar to Qdoba or Chipotle if you are familiar with those concepts. I thought the pork seasoning was better than those USA chains. We will go back before we leave town. $34 for three large burritos. Fair pricing for what you get.

Great little branch, food was good, and practically inhaled it in a second. It's convenient from where I work, too!

They forgot half my food, and to top it all off they put the cold drink cans on top of the food which made the food cold and squashed!!! I still haven’t received my refund. Avoid this place.

Second time of new tall thin guy serving me take out .Hate it He has no desire to be there .No smile ,hardly looked.at me ,mumbles choices of fillings . The other guys there were really nice encluding a great helpful one with a reddish beard .The miserable one will cause me to leave as a customer .I have been coming since it opened . He is tall ,no facial hair and no eye contact .Really bad for your shop .

Dont order with deliveroo or uber eats. They dont put in the burritos or salad any toppings. Forgot all my drinks and sides and the package wasn't properly sealed. Incredibly expensive for such poor taste and service.

For the second time in a row we ordered from this restaurant on deliveroo and instead of bowls we got sent burritos. We really like the food here but the service needs improving cause everyone can make mistakes but if it keeps happening it means either the system or the staff is bad

My friends and I stopped by here and this is my first time going to this location. We were served by the lovely dominik who was friendly and very helpful with us. He even gave us student discount when we forgot to ask which was so sweet. Will definitely visit again soon :)

My burrito bowl order via Deliveroo was delivered in an absolutely disgusting state. The entire bowl had more sauce than actual ingredients, and everything was soaking in this small bowl! To make matters worse, they managed to get my order wrong; I wanted black beans, but I received pinto beans instead.

I purchased the large Naked Burrito on two occasions, and I noticed that both times, the portions of meat and rice were insufficient, leaving the box only half full.

Friendly staff clean surroundings. Fresh, hearty, no guilt fast food that's tasty and filling. My burrito hit the spot with great vegetable mix, rich black beans, rice, salsa, guacamole, and cheese. Comfortable chairs to eat in for a pit stop eat.

Always love a tortilla burrito, the beef is delicious and worth the extra £. Went after seeing their £2.50 happy hour 5-8pm every day (I think just for summer tho). Generous frozen marg, delicious burrito. Service was average, the woman/manager who served us was clearly hating life. Felt sorry for the trainee girl with her (who made us 2 great burritos with supervision!) as didn’t seem like a particularly positive working environment, but who knows. FYI the happy hour is only when you buy food with it. And sign up to their newsletter for a free burrito on your birthday!

It's like crack, addicted to buying burrito every time

The food was amazing as usual, but the service was unusual today because we were informed that salads don’t come with rice. At my surprise why would I have a salad with rice, second thing the server what would we like tacos, is it chicken tikka? I asked what the other options, and the server mention chicken, beef or pork, so we said pork. We thought server was new and not sure what was happening, I happened to ask the server if the salad comes with rice and she replied no, so I asked why did you mention the salad don’t come with rice? And server went quite and couldn’t have any eye contact with me. I strongly feel the server judged me and my family on our appearance. But not all Indians or Asians eat rice or chicken tikka and for sure we know that salads don’t come with rice.

I am usually a huge fan of Tortilla and have visited many different branches over the years. This visit (19th July) was extremely disappointing. It appeared that the seating area had not been cleaned for a while, as there was rubbish on all of the tables, despite the restaurant not being too busy. The service was unfriendly and slow and we were given very stingy portions compared to usual. What makes it worse is that the ingredients did not seem fresh at all. The beans were dry but the meat and salsa were really watery. They had not prepared any lettuce, lime or jalapeños. They also said that they could not serve frozen Margheritas because they did not have any ice that day. All three of us left feeling disappointed and still hungry. A real shame because I would have said that you could usually count on Tortilla for quality and consistency.

Ok, I don't want to judge the whole company on this experience, however I feel that the changes they've made may be reflective across the board. I have to say, Tortilla were one of my most preferred mexican takeaways in London (I say proffered rather than favourite because all mexican food in the UK is terrible). The food I had at Tortilla Islington was so bland that the overbearing flavour was that of the actual wrap (with a hint of fish, which was weird as I had a chicken burrito)! I went back to the counter and got some extra salsa but it was still so bland. The counter staff were friendly and had the time to chat and I think that was great, so I would like that noted.

A very good variety of protein beans and sauces to put in a burrito. Price waa reasonable as well. Staff were very friendly. Its a very popular place as very near Angel Station. Small place, nice decor and some tables so you can eat in or take away. We also went back later and tried the churros which had hazelnut sauce inside and very delicious.

The staff in here really know what they're doing. Great team and great training behind them. Super efficient, friendly and strong enough to wrap my order bursting with ingredients. Food is great value for money compared to most places in the area.

The margarita was SO nasty!!! It tasted like sugarless, SALTY, slush spit water. I am not exaggerating. The food was medium. The service was fine. But the margarita was so bad. Somebody poured a bunch of salt in it and didn’t bother to taste it to see if it needed to be made over. You don’t put salt IN margaritas!!! Salt goes on the rim of the drinking glass! Throw that batch away and make a new one!! And TASTE it as you’re making it. It was horrible. Just frozen salt water with a twinge of a nasty additional flavor.

Great for a grab and go bite, or if you're lucky to have seating, sit down, get messy and enjoy a cocktail. The service was brilliant, a very nice young lady working hard, her colleague appeared to have lost the will to live, let alone smile. Food was delicious, packed to the brim and exploding, as I said, veeeery messy. Would go back, very filling and tssty.

I was greeted straight away with a very welcoming smile from Katie who provided an exceptional service suggesting the best burrito to build. We then met James who engaged in an enlightening conversation on how the food is prepare and added to our tortilla experience. Will definitely recommend and will most definitely be back soon!
