I first read about Tophskis in “Glasgow’s Good Food Group” on Facebook. I am now a regular. Cannot speak highly enough of the place, the food and the people. Always smash it, always friendly. Do yourself a favour and go.

Picked up full breakfast to take away, it was brilliant! Best scrambled egg I've ever tasted, hats off to the chef! Good quality ingredients and lots of it.

Arguably one of the best, if not the best, spots for a quick and affordable bite to eat for whatever occasion. I’ve made a habit of coming before a football game be it cup games at hampden or Scotland matches and they never fail to blow my mind. Albeit not the best for your heart, it’s got the most filling and substancial meals that I’ve had. Easily shareable between 2-3 people. Staff are always friendly and definitely the highlight of my experiences. Will I come back? Absolutely Should you go? Absolutely Go to order: 8 chicken tenders w/ chips - shareable between 2 I would say. Come to Edinburgh so I don’t have to trek to Glasgow!!!!

Two of us visited Tophski's on a weekday evening for dinner after seeing the restaurant on Instagram - we were really looking forward to the meal. The restaurant was quiet and we were seated immediately by a helpful and friendly waitress who explained the menu to us I ordered the Double Smashed Beef Cheeseburger with cajun fries, and my partner ordered the Uncle Philli Beef Burger with plain fries. He also ordered a Milkybar milkshake The cheeseburger was quite disappointing - the meat wasn't anything special and tasted a bit cheap. There wasn't much cheese. The portion sizes of the fries were plentiful, however they were a bit crispy. There was also a lot of cajun coating on the fries, however this is probably a personal preference. The steak on the Uncle Philli burger was nice We paid £30.00 for two meals and the milkshake - it was cheaper than it should have been as it was "Walk In Wednesdays" meaning the meals were cheaper on that day. I don't believe the meals were worth £30.00 (or more depending on the day) The meal at Tophski's was okay but unfortunately I wouldn't come here again

After hearing great things about Tophskis, we decided to go for breakfast. On arrival, the helpful staff let us know they serve a full menu from opening (10am), so decided to give the burgers a try. We ordered the Black & Blue burger (blue cheese and bacon), the Uncle Phili burger (steak, cheese and chilli’s)and a portion of Frickles (deep fried pickles). The burgers were fantastic, tasty, imaginative and very filling. The Frickles were amazingly salty, sour and crispy, they tasted great and were served with blue cheese dip. Great experience and food, can’t recommend Tophskis more highly !

Went here to fill up before a football match, had been following on Instagram for a while so was excited to try it. Ordered 2 tophs mozzarella sticks, a double smash burger with American cheese and the salt and chilli loaded chips. Mozzarella sticks were out of this world, huge cheesy and loved the coating. Unfortunately that was the highlight, the burger meat was very low quality and despite the bun being soft and it being cooked well I couldnt get past the cheap lingering taste of carboot sale burger van. The chicken on the loaded chips was dry which was so disappointing as the the chips, curry sauce and toppings were nice. Paid £30 for the meal and 2 coffees. Felt the Instagram photos mislead me into thinking I was going to get something delicious. Lesson learnt. Would go again if I was in the area but would avoid meat options.

First visit - won’t be my last! At first glance, i thought my sat nav had made an error but no, it really is a converted church hall! I stopped off here en route somewhere so didn’t have much time. Staff were friendly and attentive, chatty. They made me aware of a special offer. The food came quickly. It looked, and tasted, amazing! Game changed using cheese sauce for cheesy chips rather than the usual grated. I also had a burger with haggis, black pudding and peppercorn sauce. Will be returning next time we’re in the area, for sure!

One of the frustrations of living in Scotland is the realisation that hospitality is its own worst enemy. Apparently only a small percentage of visitors come back, I think it’s our attitude which is to blame. What’s that got to do with a burger bar in what I assume used to be the church hall of a very large church in the south side of Glasgow? The answer is service and attitude. We stopped off here just after 12 noon, looking for coffee and some breakfast, to be told that breakfast stopped at 12 o’clock, a roll (bap) with bacon or sausage would have done, but no, despite having all the cooking facilities needed for such a request, no go. The Michael Douglas film Falling Down aught to be compulsory viewing for anyone in hospitality. We then move onto coffee, they have a proper coffee machine so this isn’t a greasy spoon with a jar of Nescafé, but they didn’t have Skinny milk, what organisation serving coffee doesn’t have skinny milk? Nor did they have Oat, Almond or indeed any other type of milk and it was obvious when we asked that our question wasn’t appreciated, you know that squaring of the shoulders coupled with that, ‘I’ll look, but you’re wasting my time’ response. So I ended up with black coffee which was quite pleasant and my wife ended up with tea. We drank our drinks and left hungry, their burger’s looked good but I can’t comment as we didn’t want burgers, a roll would’ve been nice, but we’re in Scotland so it’s Mine Host who matters and stuff the customer.

My wife was going to a night out giving me free reign on where to eat. Only 1 choice. Tophskis. A 12 mile round trip but worth every mile. Had the special. Salt and Chilli shredded beef loaded fries. UNBELIEVABLE. The macaroni cheese is THE best I’ve eaten. Also took home Tophs Mozzarella sticks for my wife. All in an incredible place

Thought I'd pop in & check it out. Orders the Big Phil which was delishious and filling and not too messy. It's a wee bit pricey for just getting a burger at £8.00, would like to see a bugger burger or chips or something added to it for this price.

The food in this restaurant was fab,,,, everything was so tasty, you can tell its all freshly made, the buffalo chicken wrap was amazing , even the haggis fries and the chilli and salt fries, with the cheese curry sauce, were all brilliant, I couldn't recommend this place enough, When you walk in you wouldn't think it was as good as it was but it's so good. All the staff were all nice and if you want to change anything with the meal then it's no problem. And it's reasonably priced too as the portions are big.

First time, eating from this place, but won’t be the last. Great menu, big portions and really tasty. We ordered via app, and got it delivered to my work, the only downside was the hour long wait on it being delivered. Food was great, and will use again.

Not what you expect when in a church hall but the food was top notch! Food was well cooked and really good portions. Although probably more a take away place, we sat in. I would highly recommend this place but if I had one suggestion, for sit in, actual plates/wood platters would have been good. I get the whole street food vibe the venue is going for but it can get quite messy, other than that. Really enjoyed our visit, will deffo be back.

The food was too spicy considering we specifically mentioned it is for kids and we do not like any spices on it. Not to mention the price . Totally overrated restaurant.

We had a set menu and everything we ate was delicious. Good alcoholic and non alcoholic options. A must is getting some of the snacks with your meal. Beautiful restaurant to sit in and staff helpful with dietary requirements. We will be back to experience the full menu.

Review is a little late but we were on vacation in Glasgow in May, we ate at Yiamas three times. Fantastic every time. Best place to get a fresh salad and the lamb was amazing. the owners recognized us on the third visit and had a great chat. food and service were top notch. They were even accommodating with giving us a table suitable for my fathers wheel chair.
