Top Wok in Rochdale

Shocking fish and chips. Looked a huge fish but it was all batter and the fish was like rubber.

Ordered chips and a carton of gravy, the chips were a soggy ball of potato and the gravy wasn’t hot and full of lumps hence the lot went straight in the bin to give one star rating is giving it too much.

Had top wok 3 weeks in a row , absolutely amazing food and plenty of it ,,try it

More Bottom Wok than Top Wok. After a wait of nearly 15 minutes for pie and gravy in an empty chippy, I decided to ask for a refund. Understandable if the place was busy, but it wasn't. Perhaps I should have phoned the order on. Went to the chippy on the commom and was served immediately whilst they also sorted telephone orders.

Brilliant chippy, but the carton trays are no good everything sticks to them, and wgen u have transferred your food to a plate it looks like mush.

Great food with any additional requests always catered for. Fast and speedy delivery and tasty food! Won’t be ordering from anywhere else

Really nice chippy all round . Lots of options to choose from with vegetarian options available 🌱 Food was served red hot and fresh. Great prices and even better portion sizes! Very welcoming and friendly staff (young man on till ) Would recommend 👌

If you are going to have a cigarette break wash your hands! Don't just come straight back in and continue serving. I did suggest this directly to the individual, however, I was ignored and they continued to serve. Fortunately I was being served by someone else. Basic food hygiene.

Great chips and loads of chow mane.

Not the best food. Okay for a quick bag of chips but Wouldn't order much else.

First and last time I will be going expensive £19 for prawn toast, s&p ribs, fish chips and curry, and chop suet roll. The fish was under cooked, batter went in bin, on fish the batter was slimy, the s&p ribs had been heated up, was hard as rock and tasteless. The curry I dipped one chip in and it was like water.

I have just picked my order up from this chippy. Sweet sour chicken. The very worst I have ever had. Couldn’t even bite in the chicken pieces. They was so over cooked and the rice was just look warm. It’s in the bin. Won’t be going there again...

Ordered salt and pepper chips and the chips well if that is what you could call them all small hard chips not be visiting again I'm a afraid

Ordered 3 English meals. Fish chips and curry, meat pie chips and curry, sausage chips and gravy it came to £17.00 wont go here again. It used to be the best chippy in rochdale. I will stick to the other I've tried. So expensive for 3 English meals.

This Chinese take away seems to have changed hands recently. The food is now awful if I had eaten the undercooked chicken curry I would surely have developed food poisoning! Avoid at all costs for the sake of your health!

Have ordered twice now since the pandemic and both times the food has been beautiful, really enjoyed it, staff are always pleasant and delivery always arrives quicker than they say, ordered different meals for 6 of us and everyone was pleased with it, would definitely order again x

Hit and miss, when it's good, it's good. When it's bad, it's terrible.

Used to be on the the best chippys around and have let thing slip the last couple years. Please do better!

Excellent local Chinese take away. A very wide range of products. Clean, welcoming and very efficient and speedy service. On street parking is right outside and very close to an off licence should the mood require. Neat recyclable food packaging for the Chinese style food. Recommended.

Top Wok on Whitworth Road is a good Chinese chippy with friendly staff. The Chinese food is great - lovely taste, lots of variety, many, many choices. I've been a customer for many years and I would strongly recommend it. 4 out of 5 stars...

been eating here for many years this is the very last time.food has been going down hill for a while tonights treat left on the plate and will be going in the bin.worst chips I have ever seen and the beef in the curry like shoe leather

just ordered tonight. barbecued ribs burnt to a crisp (inedible). everything else just ok. not as good as it used to be -- salt and pepper spare ribs full of fat - hardly any meat (ask for extra chiilies and garlic to get any flavour. Will probably go again as not much competition in Rochdale.
