Great place for quick fast food with healthy options

refused to take my order at 1130pm, hours say they're open till 130 am. which is it you freaks

I haven’t eaten meat in years, so eating out is already difficult. Today I went to this location to order a cheesy. After a couple bites I tasted something really salty. After further inspection I realized my cheesy had multiple pieces of ham, onion and sausage. Since I live 45 minutes out of town I had to rush home to make myself throw up. I’m not looking forward to spending one day off curled up around my toilet but here we are. Thanks amigos for charging me $11.37 just to spend my day ill.

Been going Amigo's for years, its always been my favorite breakfast, sadly the price as gone up that much I can't afford to buy a breakfast on my pension, I will still go but only for a bacon buttie.

Visit Amigos occasionally for a Saturday morning breakfast. Previously it was not a bad spot, unfortunately my latest visit has proved very disappointing. Service was poor, they forgot my friend’s drink altogether. We ordered a full breakfast, the bacon was fatty and undercooked. It was obviously of low quality. When we asked a waitress for some more drinks, we were told to queue at the counter. When my friend queued at the counter he was ignored. Having already paid, we promptly left never to return. The standard of food and service have sadly declined.

If I could give zero stars, I would, I watched them not wear gloves and touch the food with their bare hands without even washing their hands and then was going to serve me my food. Disgusting. I will never eat there again. They don’t wear gloves they don’t wash their hands and they just touch her food with bare hands.not to mention both me and my children got sick from the grease and nasty stuff they use to cook their food major heartburn and stomach issues!

Nice place for a quick cheap lunch and delicious food. every time I dine in the food is hot and fresh and the cheese enchiladas are my favorite thing on the menu

Customer service is always great. The food is always accurate. The drive through people are always very nice, kind, and considerate, and treat you like an individual and not just another number. Love the fresh food, and great service! Hope amigos keeps getting more popular

Only had a coffee, so don't go thinking this review applies to anything other than their Coffee. & in this it was okay. That's it really. Decent environs, decent service.

When ordering 6 tacos and saying “a bunch of mild” when asked for sauce I would think there should be at least 6 packets right? Nope, only 4… This type of thing has happened multiple times with multiple different employees. It’s like they intentionally refuse to give you what is asked for. I’ve also specified that I would like only one single pack of sauce and they give like 3 or 4. Never just 1.

I ordered through Amigos online. I had the wrong address so when I went to Amigos on cornhusker they told me it was the wrong address. I called the other amigos and explained the situation and they told me to contact the service I used to order. I told her I ordered through Amigos app. She kept saying she couldnt hear me 9t understand me. I had my friend explain but she got irritated. I was charged 11$ for food I never received.

I ordered pickup for ASAP. Hoping I could swing by and pick it up on my way to work. When I arrive 20 minutes later, I see them drop my order in the fryer. I know it's mine, noone else was there. Now I wait. Not the first time. Please don't offer pickup of it is no quicker than drive through.

Hi. So the positives first. Nice exterior and interior mostly Spacious seating Pleasant and friendly staff Negative (This is opinion based) The burgers we were was super greasy and to me undercooked Not cheap. It's a cafe for me it should have prices that are cheaper than a restaurance. i have eaten in enough to say a cafe meal in my opinion should be between £5-£7 ish and coffee wasnt cheap either. Would I come again: Probably no as its more expensive than i thought it would be and the burger was not great. It's probably personal preference.

Whoever has been prepping the cheese frenchees is doing a terrible job. The last three or four times I've gone here there was at least one piece that had fallen apart before they fried it, allowing most of the cheese to leak out in the fryer and the bread inside to be soaked and overcooked. This time it was like that on all three pieces. I was pissed and tried to call the manager but got no answer. Disappointing because not even a year ago I had commented that this store consistently had the best cheese franchise, which was also due to who was prepping them and the fact that they were always fresh. I probably won't go to this one again.

Great service and friendly and helpful staff. The food was great and my visit was pleasingly quick In The drive through. Perfect service. Dont forget this business supports veterans and armed services. Drive through if you get a chance.

I had a cheese toastie and a latte. Lovely. Very reasonable prices. I remember when this was a discount store back in the day. Cute building.

I went through the drive thru for breakfast. I got the most pleasant, friendly young man! He had dark skin and dreads. I think he might have been a manager, not sure. He was so pleasant to talk to and really brightened my morning! The food was also very filling. There's a reason I've been going to this Amigos for years now! Awesome work!

I’m really disappointed I got two kids meals the cheesy one was completely dried and burnt and not edible along with my adult grilled chicken roll up…it wasn’t even together as a burrito and couldn’t eat it since the taste was of a burnt grill. The people at the window were nice and the soft taco meal was the only thing we could eat out of it all. I had to go to another place to order food :(

Fantastic local cafe serving great food. My favourite for breakfast (delivered) Food still arrives very quickly, and the quality is always consistently delicious. Very happy there's somewhere like this in Middleton.

This is the best amigos in town my opinion but never have they ever forgotten anything on my orders as well they are always so pleasant and over all just amazing service. Love this amigos there always fast friendly and on point

Brandon, the GM at this location, is a flat out rockstar! Awesome customer service, very patient, and when the chip in my card was broken this morning, he paid for both of my items! Made my entire morning!!

Took awhile in drive thru they forgot ranch for kids meal gave me no sauce after they asked and got order wrong!!!

Food is alright not my favorite you can't even call this mexican food. I applied for a job and I am willing to work but they didn't want to hire me so too bad for them I don't like them.

Again, they didn't give us what we ordered. Why I go back there is probably the good question. Probably because I think maybe someday their managers will get off their hands and train their high school kids. Back in the olden days amigos didn't have incompetent workers. Too bad Capitol Parkway went downhill like 14th and Hwy 2. Wrong orders, wrong condiments, long waits for no apparent reason. A cigarette sized street taco for over $4. Looks quite different than the picture. Weird.

Breakfast burritos were cold and cheese wasn't even melted. At least order was correct. Prefer the location at 70th and A over this location.

The cheese Frenchies were extremely small.

The moment we walked in the hostess was rude, after she skipped us for some regulars we got a table. We waited at the table for a waitress, when she came she brought coffee and no silverware....again I watched her flit about to her tables while we sat with coffee getting cold that we could not stir our sugar into. After waiting we decided to leave not worth getting angry about just better to go. I realize they were short staffed however, you don't treat some of your guests and leave others. Sad I really wanted to try their chicken and waffles. I won't return because rudeness totally sets me off.

The way the staff spoke to customers left a lasting impression on me. Granted it is not fun working a drive thru (have worked in one) I was talked down to and not spoken to in a respectful manner for asking if they could sub chicken instead of beef.

Great fast service, despite the long line! The food was really good, and the lady at the window made sure everything was in the bag before handing it out. Truly amazing, love this location.

I work nearby so I'm typically there a couple times a week. Food is always top notch. Every time I even splurge on the tiny over priced cheese cups. This time they were like orange water. So gross. So what I'm out a dollar something. Issue is the employee that filled those cups should have been vigilant enough to see the gross stuff they were pumping in.

I must confess it here, because 14th and Q has gone to greener pastures, just like her. Piece by piece, the end began when our Monster Toaster hamburger was discontinued one day without warning, while the garden of our love was a wilting lettuce leaf in a busted walk-in cooler. I never dreamt as a boy one day as a man I would cherish the arguments, the distance in our closeness, and thousand island dressing on a thick beef patty betwixt two pieces of Texas Toast. On countless nights, I could see the gleam in her eye when I suggested this restaurant for drive-thru dinners, hypnotized by merciless visions of build-a-bowl chicken fajitas, but that celestial rodeo has died down long before that last bite, and long before writing this. Indeed, I could drive thru on my own, but after such slow, tragic cinema, I only have the heart to stay parked.

mexican food, my favorite treat. got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. nothing but pleasant experiences here. it has a good feel to it. food is similar to a cafe in indianapolis i liked.

Always prompt. They are the fastest in getting food lately. Other than the management being extremely rude and instead of asking me how I was doing.. the manager made a decision to not ask me how I was doing but to involve others. They used to be a five star. But the one on north 27th and Coenhusker has lost my business for the time being. Recommend checking out the one on 27th and Normal

Amigos is great always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The food is hot and delicious. The service is fast and super friendly what more could you ask for? Oh yeah there breakfast is to die for! If you haven't tried it out you are missing out on a life changing experience.

Amigos at 27th & Normal Blvd. I used a coupon for a grilled Chicken Taco Salad. I drove thru about 9 pm. Friendly employee. I have certain requests for my order which doesn't involve the food itself, just the packaging. My order specifics were all met, EXCEPT . . . I was given the Hamburger Taco Salad (which I really do not like at all!), NOT the Chicken 😕🥴. This was discovered a 1/2 hour later, after arriving home. I tried calling a couple of times with no answer. Since I am a Diabetic 2 and had been up since 3:30 am, I was hesitant to drive back. I tried tasting the Hamburger Taco Salad, truly, and didn't care for it at all. (And trust me, I am not a picky eater.) So I heated a can of Bean and Bacon Soup. I will try to resolve this issue with the store today, Sunday, if possible.

I placed an order for pickup on doordash. The app said my order would be ready in about 15 minutes. I headed to amigos after 15 minutes, and followed the doordash app instructions of “skip the line and show the cashier your order confirmation” When I drove straight to the window I was told I was supposed to stop and order through the intercom, so they could make the food hot. Which absolutely defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead of time and going to pick it up. When ordering for a pickup whether I’m a customer or a doordash driver the food should either be ready, or I should’ve been told it just be a moment. My only concern is how many other people’s orders are taking way longer than needed through any other delivery service.

Food here is good if you receive what you order. Several times in a row have had missing or incorrect items on small orders

So in general, we love Amigos but we have been having issues with getting orders correct. I just went through the drive through and had two different orders of mexi fry nachos. One was supposed to be just cheese and beef and it came with everything. The other order wasn’t supposed to have sour cream and it was covered in it. I hate sour cream and just had to make it happen. Again, we love Amigos but that was a hard one. Our final order of a grilled chicken salad didn’t have any chicken. Crazy.

Terrible service at the drive through. We weren't being heard and they filled my item w so much refried beans I just threw it away. Didn't even get the order right or try to listen at all.

The food is good, drive thru made for a compact car nothing bigger without being very tight, staff were friendly but I don't approve of having more metal in your face, ears, eyes, lips and tongue than in my scrap pile at home. Call me old fashioned but if I wanted to be served by a circus clown I woulda fine to Barnum Baily circus

Loved the Amigos on 14th and Q, but have had to switch to the one on 27th and Capitol Parkway after it closed. The last 3 times we have went they have either forgotten to put part of our order in the bag, given us the wrong food, or the tacos have been so greasy that they are soggy when we get home (we live 3 minutes away). I really hope this location can get it together.

I come here several times per week, always polite, prompt and great food. The owner NEVER stops cleaning, more since Corona virus. Don't let this business die due to scaremongering

Delicious food that is always prompt. There's been a few mixups on my orders though. Definitely would recommend their burgers, everyone talks about their soft tacos, but I think the burgers are where it's at.

We called in for light lunch, choices are displayed on wall.

The service was great and food was delicious i got a king burger and fries. The fries are the best in town i was so full for once from just the meal.😊 My only complaint is my usual cherry limeade that was in a 32oz cup for a large is now much smaller i was so sad☹

Service is fine. Food and price is not good. Food is mediocre and the prices are high.

One of my frenchee wedges was only half of a wedge. As in one wedge of one slice of bread with a dab of cheese barely clinging to it.

They forgot our fries but thankfully before we left an employee noticed.

They get my order right as long as the person on the other end actually marks it down right. About 90% of the time they hear and mark it down correctly. They are always super friendly though!

MY CHICKEN WAS COLD. like they got it out of a package from a fridge.. Employees are nice but food is subpar.. You took away your crisp crab Rangoon burrito which is all they had going for them in my opinion.. Probably won't be back after trying the other food

Can't fault this place. Large flat white coffee's are my wife & i's preferred drink, she usually opts for the Plain bpBurger & curly fries whereas i go for the Bacon & Cheese Burger with chips. Both come with a nice Side Salad & Burger Sauce. My only gripe would be on busy days the bacon does tend to be way overcooked hence 4 stars, had that not been a regular thing then i would be giving them 5 of 5. Staff are welcoming & helpful although there are times when you have to hang about at the counter a while but that is usually due to them clearing/cleaning tables or serving meals. Prices are reasonable too & they do a loyalty card for coffee's so its well worth a visit if you are in Mid at any time

Fantastic staff, Great Service and the food and coffee are great. A really nice atmosphere, busy but not crowded, great location to watch the world pass by.

Meat quality is questionable and I'd bet money it's full of TVP. They do a lot but they don't do anything well except the glacier twists are pretty tasty and different.

No dining area so drive thru only. But still quick service and nice people.
