Top cafe by nature not just name Max and Andria are brilliant Food is great value, quality, great portions and served quickly, been a regular for years, best cafe in the area bar none

The place is pretty old and the lady love to gossip. I am sorry lady I do not want to tell you about my life and my friends life. I don't think I wnat to come back there, I was very uncomfortable after many questions and I am afraid next time she will ask me about my blood type or my star sign. Get a life really...

Have been using this cafe for more year than lcare to think about. Great service, great food and great value. Nothing is to much to ask for. Swap an item on the set menu is NO PROBLEM or add an item. Great place to meet up with friends. Well done Max and Andria

Terrible offering... Poor quality food, petty notice all over the place. Would not change a menu item for me from toast to mushrooms extra... Pathetic small minded place...

I have always lived in the area, but recently moved up the road from top cafe. Run by a really lovely couple, the food and service is always faultless. If you’re after a good cooked breakfast look no further. There are plenty of good cafes in the area but this is the best.

Definitely the top cafe for miles around. I love my bacon well done, and when I ask here it’s simply perfect. In fact all the food is perfect. Very friendly staff and nothing is to much bother. Thank you for the best service over the years.

This cafe is run by a very pleasant and friendly couple. The choice includes liver and kidneys as well as the usual bacon, eggs and sausages. The service was fast, the food nicely cooked and the amount generous. To top it all the price was very reasonable. I'd been hoping for a double espresso to round off my breakfast but only instant coffee is available. However, I just can't bring myself to take a star off them for that.

I had heard mixed views on this place so I thought I’d try it for myself, I must say I found it very good, the lady that took my order was very pleasant as was the guy in the kitchen that brought my order to my table, the place was spotless, the tables were clean and tidy, not filled with used crockery that you find in some places, I ordered the set 3 option, which was beans, fried egg, black pudding, and mushrooms, I paid a little extra and had tomatoes as well, however there was no sausage, but it came with two slices of bread & butter, I had a black coffee and this all came to £6.80, there are around eight tables downstairs with extra seating upstairs where you will also find the toilet, once again the toilet was spotless with soap in the dispenser and the hand dryer worked, (very seldom do you get both), they clearly have a hardcore of regulars so that tells you it is popular. If you are in the area and fancy a bite to eat then it’s situated on the A22 between Purley and Kenley, opening hours are 07.00 to 15.00, there is limited parking outside.

I enjoy it here every visit and its great to find an authentic breakfast cafe with a 5/5 food hygiene rating on the door.

Food was poor! Didn't get a lot for your money Was way to loud in there kids screaming and only a tiny place! Eggs were like snot wasn't very clean in there either To over priced for what it is a little cafe on a main road in middle of no where! Wouldn't go there again

A great place to eat, I bring my family here once a month as a treat on a weekend, if you haven't been here I highly recommend you try it.

I've Max and Andrea's food for the last 25 years. Always excellent food served with a friendly smile. Unbeatable value for money and consistently tasty good quality food. A lovely cafe owned by lovely genuine people.

I come here quite often for lunch and breakfast and I have to say the people are so friendly, the food is always fresh and tasty! Not a greasy spoon..a nice warm atmosphere with good grub! I always have the scrambled egg and hash browns..delicious!! This place should definitely be recognised for how good they are. Thanks Andrea and Max!! :)

Decent full english breakfast at the expected price, so you can have a good meal without breaking the bank. A full mark off because it isn't open on sunday.

Great breakfast with lots of choices. Ate at Top Café plenty times and its about time I rated them. Family run business, your looked after you well, as well as brekki, they have nourishing meals, great puddings. Also offering a takeaway service... Worth a visit.
