Dalhousie has closed during the pandemic...so there's nothing to write . Had good teas and sandwiches

He estado aquí varias veces y siempre me gusta dar apoyo a los cafés locales. Es popular entre los lugareños y claramente está ocupado y, con suerte, le va bien Tomamos nuestro café y pasteles habituales los domingos a poco más de 14. Es caro, pero el problema principal no es el precio, sino el estándar del café y la tarta. Pasteles muy, muy ricos. No solo glaseado, sino pastel real que estaba muy mantecoso, especialmente el pastel de limón. Café / chocolate caliente nada especial. Volveremos pero no por un tiempo. Siempre es el caso con los cafés: existe la oportunidad de asegurar clientes fieles regulares pero la calidad simplemente no está allí. Esto siempre deja una brecha en el mercado de la zona.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos aquí por pastel y café (yo), té (ella) ayer. ¡Nos resultó muy difícil elegir nuestros pasteles porque parecían deliciosos! Finalmente elegimos la tarta de plátano y zanahoria que era tan increíble y la tarta de lima y pistacho que también era agradable. Casi elegimos el pastel de duraznos y crema que también se veía delicioso. Las bebidas eran deliciosas y el servicio fue rápido, amable y eficiente. Hay asientos arriba y abajo y un baño arriba también. Está situado en un buen lugar. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente y sin duda volveré!

Loved the coffee, cake and atmosphere. The staff was really kind and I had the impression that they really love to work there.

I'm disappointed I have to write such a review but I hope it's constructive for the owner. The service is good. It's been about a year since I popped in and decided to take a friend who was not local there. The coffee / hot chocolate - nothing special The cake - I had a Lemon & Blueberry and was very surprised by the lack of freshness and cream was so sweet. It tasted industrial and at £4.50 a slice to eat in it was quite poor. I think this place has so much potential. It's clearly doing well but that's a reflection of the lack of good competition in the area

Wow, the most amazing range of delicious cakes in the middle of Crystal Palace. Find a reason to visit this cafe. First, get a table and then go order and pay at the counter. My helpful hint: there is seating upstairs so don’t walk away thinking it’s full when there are no spare seats on the ground. GBP 11 for 1 x slice of cake and 2 x lattes (both with an extra shot). Friendly staff and vibe. You could opt for a glass of champagne instead of coffee. Highly recommended!

I have been their twice and I love this place. A very cute place with great service. The cakes are freshly made and delicious. I had a slice coconut cake that was to die for. Great cappuccino and flat white too. Will def go back when I’m back in London

The cakes here are pretty phenomenal. It’s a battle with my self-control whenever I walk past! The flavour combinations are inventive but not so ‘out there’ that they don’t work. I’ve tried several of their cakes & have yet to be disappointed. The slices are generous in size, and whilst they are pretty expensive you don’t feel cheated because you could (if you have any self control) box up what you can’t finish & eat it later. Like, 20 mins later on the bus...it is actually that good. The coffees & teas are pretty average but you go there for the cake so hey. Highly recommend.

Amazing selection of cakes - always something new to try with friendly staff too. Nice ambience or just take a slice or two of cake away.

This is a recent addition to the Crystal Palace triangle. There are many coffee shops, mainly chains, so any newcomer has to stand out. Dalhousie has a fresh looking shop front with a café area and shop downstairs and a salon style seating area upstairs. The main attraction is the display of freshly made large cakes in the shop area. The flavours change regularly. One customer bought a whole cake and recommended one with cranberries. We sat upstairs in the comfortable armchairs. Orders are taken and paid for in the shop, but are served at your table. It is a lovely venue to catch up with friends. Prices are a bit steep, but it is worth it for a treat. Coffee £3 A slice of cake £4.50 Service friendly. No service charge. Good location near shops, park (with dinosaurs) and public transport.

I come here quite often and have had the pleasure of trying out some of their amazing cakes. Always quite indecisive because of the amazing selection. I would say the best standouts are the Rum and raspberry( although I've been back a couple of times and It hasn't been on display for a while) and the banana and carrot cake. The staff are also very welcoming and nice, however my last visit there was a couple of mistakes with the orders. This doesn't take away the fact that it is one of the best cafes in Crystal Palace.

Went here after a meal for a bit of dessert. Ordered a cake and coffee, mine the maple syrup cake was nice, but my wife thought the chocolate cherry was alright. Service was excellent though.

Took a friend here for tea/coffee and cake. It is a little gem of a place and very busy - even on a drizzly Monday afternoon. Amazing choice of cakes - I went for courgette and lemon, and my friend for Black Forest. All very tasty. My only reason for not awarding a five star is because each slice of cake cost £4.50. I find this incredibly steep, especially this is way more than other similar places.

Very tastefully decorated and furnished especially upstairs where you can relax in leather couches and armchairs with coffee table books if so desired, The food and the coffee is delicious and the staff friendly, do try upstairs it is special.

This place is my favourite in CP and it’s my regular spot for an amazing cake and a good coffee! All cakes are home made and taste amazing. It has a good Wi-fi if you need to do a spot of work.

Not a huge range of choice (except cakes!), but the staff are very lovely. There is a lot of choice for coffee on the Triangle, and it's nice to pop in to somewhere independent.
