Went to Tootoomoo on Sunday and they gave us an amazing table for two. Food was amazing and nice. Cocktails was very authentic too. The best of all was Mahi who looked after our table. She so very professional, spot on in food and drink recommendations. Thank to the team at Tootoomoo Islington and above all very special thanks to Mahi.

First visit to Tootoomoo, loved the vibe, great service and stunning food. Had to leave early as I wasn't feeling well (not the food!) So would have loved to had stayed for longer, will 100% be returning.

Not worth it, the food is not good quality and the prices are too high for what they offer. Do not go!! It is a waste of money.

We order £50 worth of food from this place. Rice - So salty it was inedible. Schezun chilli chicken - Bland with very little flavour. Katsu Curry - Bland with chip shop like curry sauce. Spring rolls - Overdone and mushy at the same time. Foul. This meal was genuinely disgusting. Whoever cooked this has no idea what they are doing. Avoid.

The formula is simple. Choose people’s favourite Asian dishes and put them all on one menu. Wan tan soup. Fried Gyozas. Tempura prawns. Char siu bao. Beef rendang. Nasi goreng. It’s all ok but not more than ok. Prices very reasonable so if you want a no-nonsense Asian without too much flavour or finesse, you will be reasonably happy here. Saves you going into town and spending a lot more.

Excellent experience...finding a good Pan Asian restaurant in London is v difficult to find , but this is very much up there with anything that the Crouch End or City have to offer...so you need to book...but all the food on offer were of the highest quality. Enjoy

Unfortunately, I found the food to be overly sweet, bland and with very little chilli, garlic or seasoning. It didn’t taste authentic at all. Maybe I was unlucky? I wouldn’t order from here again

Not good atheistic food similar quality to supermarket home meals , £7.50 for absolutely awful spring rolls ! Claimed to have veg n mushrooms… defo no mushroom and a few bits of corn and tiny bit of carrot surrounded by watery slimy mash , had Korean chicken , over cooked dry with a packet sauce … very poor indeed won’t be back , I did complain … but seemed to go completely over there heads with just “ sorry “ as the solution 🤮

I have walked by this place a lot since it open and have heard good things about it so we finally went in. We were greeted by some very friendly people and told to go to the back which is very nicely done up so we all had high hopes. The waitress was quick to take our order but lacked any sort of nice manners, she never once came back and asked us how our food was or if we needed anything, we had to call her back for water, if I could do it over I would have held back most of the tip. I could almost understand this if it were very busy but it was only us and one other table being served there. Food came to our table very quickly. The wanton soup was good but the Pad Thai was the worst I have ever had in my life...very sugary with a ton of noodles and very little else...no corriander even. I had the same dish just a week before at a place next to Kings Cross for less money and far much more meat, flavour and everything, worlds apart! The Szechuan Chili stir fry was again more like sweet and sour chicken, it did have some fresh veg but far too much sugar and again skimping on the meat. Duck was poor too. Dumplings were good. Drinks are overpriced, £7.50 for a pint? central London club prices. Far too costly for what we got, a hole in the wall take away has better flavours than this, will never return or have take out.

Avoid at all cost. I gave 2 star for decor and ambience. The small plates are good but the main course is bland. Attached a photo of the schiuan chilly pepper, the bamboo shoots were missing and the food was sweet (not authentic flavours) We asked for a replacement he replaced it with a green curry but the green curry was sweet and not dense This food didn't comes across well prepared or flavourful. So I'll avoid. If you like sweet food, yes this could be your palette

Place was slightly confusing as when we walked in I assumed it was a takeaway. Seating was at the back past the kitchen which was an odd layout. Il be honest the food was poor. The duck was £20 and it was dry and tasteless. The chicken Katsu curry had what tasted like 3/4 day old potatoes init, bland hard vegetables added to the katsu sauce and it was watery and bland. The gyozas were awful, watery and bland. It cost £85 for duck, gyozas, 1 pint, 2 glasses of wine & bao buns (these were inedible). Really disappointed.

Plenty choices for Vegan/veg. We had veg spring rolls, spicy chilli veggie dumplings, pad Thai noodles and Kastu curry. All was very appetising. Service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

Genuinely surprised with how pleasant the interior was of the restaurant followed by a warm welcome from the staff which only made the experience that much nicer. Food and drinks arrived quick and the quality up there with some of the best I’ve had in Crouch End. Through and through a great night :)

Service was fine. Polite, attentive. Environment was fine. Clean. Food was decidedly average, and not authentic at all. I had the Singapore noodles, as I was feeling nostalgic. Nothing remotely authentic about the dish; it was basically bee hoon (thin rice noodle) with chili sauce stirred through it and some diced fried chicken. Bland, boring and wildly overpriced. Essentially the antithesis of a noodle dish one would enjoy in Singapore. Incidentally there is no such thing as ‘Singapore noodles’. The deep fried tofu was poor as well. Very thick layer of breadcrumbs, which was much thicker than the tofu itself. Overcooked to the point the moisture had been extracted from the tofu. It was basically like eating deep fried breadcrumbs. Again wildly overpriced and not remotely authentic - I was expecting something akin to Agadashi tofu - which is common in Asia. This was far from it and i suspect this was some kind of frozen offering they simply toss in the fryer. Overall disappointing. For reference, noodles, tofu and one 0% beer was roughly £27. Based on this experience I would not return. A pity really as many reviews are positive and my expectations were higher.

We went with high expectations, given the reviews, but can only conclude that those reviews are based on a different branch or that we were painfully unlucky. The only flavour to any of the food was salt. I literally could not eat my noodles as they were so greasy, I couldn't get them up on the chopsticks and had to ask for a fork but didn't finish anyway; the noodles seemed like a very slippery version of supermarket 'straight to wok' noodles and not like anything I've had in restaurants before. The chicken katsu was also incredibly greasy and unbearably salty - more like McDonald's chicken level of salt - it left a slick sheen across my lips and a rather sickening aftertaste. It was genuinely impossible to eat the courgette or potatoes as they had absorbed so much salt. My friend was unable to finish per pad Thai for the same reason and was drinking a lot of water for the rest of the night. The squid and gyoza were also too greasy. There's a gorgeous Thai restaurant about a 15 minute walk away, near to the Almeida Theatre (Rabieng), which is where we normally eat but the reviews led us to try this place for a change - we will not be returning. The staff are truly lovely and welcoming, the service is swift and they do make a lovely cup of tea but that's not enough to warrant a second visit.

The atmosphere was nice and the place clean and nicely decorated. The staff great. However we couldn't help but be dissapointed by the food itself, which is ultimately what we go to restaurants for. The tempuras' crust was thick and not as crispy as what one could expect. The rice variety wasn't what we are used to eat in our asian meals (and in Asia) and the sauce of the Szechuan Chilli Stir Fry was a tad too thick and overwhelming. Even in a context of inflation, we think that paying 55£ was too much for what we got (this didn't include any drink). That kind of food isn't to expensive in raw ingredients, can be prepared in advance and it's almost a matter of reheating before serving.

We love Tootoomoo - very tasty pan asian food that is great for takeaway, and also eating in, and good friendly service. We had a baby with us, and they were super helpful. The only thing is that you don't deliver to E3 - sort it out! ;) Our new gaff is out of range!!

A tapestry of flavors that amazed us! The Edamame provided a fresh and healthy start, while the Vegetable Gyoza and Prawn Crackers added a burst of authenticity. Unforgettable.

We enjoyed our meals here. Beautiful environment that isn't overly crowded. The service was quick. The dinner was good, although the duck watermelon was lacking in flavour and prawn tempura paste was a little too thick. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner.

Got a Tootoomoo last night for my daughter’s 18th birthday. It came from the Crouch End one. We were all disappointed as the food was average at best. My Pad Thai was bland and cost twice as much as a average Chinese takeaway. The two prawn dishes had only four prawns in them. Will not be ordering from them again.

Small place that gets very busy, which I think is a good sign. The food and atmosphere was awesome. I had two different Dim Sum and Katsu Chicken Curry with rice. And The Chilli Beef. And it was fantastic. I absolutely love this place. I will travel from South London to eat here. I like it this much. The food is amazing, the staff are nice and open, welcoming. I love the atmosphere. One minus is that is always PACKED, but hey! That's a good sign! I'm just bad at reserving tables, really.

The queue moved quickly and we got a table. We waited around 5mins and member of staff came to ask for drinks order or food as we were ready to order. The option to scan a QR code and pay the bill was really handy considering how busy the staff was. I would suggest that they try to improve their service during busy periods like Dinner time.

Ok where do I start...... The staff are amazing, and supper friendly from the first second you come in. The dinning is really pretty and our (2 seated) table had a mirror by it with we found usefull. We were comfortable at our table too. The food is so tasty and I love that there are alot of options for vegan and vegetarian options since the mean is not halal there. I first tried the VEGEN Cripsy Miso Tofu and the texter of it was the same as real meat would be. Next I tried the 'Pad Thai' (rice noodles) which was so yummy. My friend tried the vegetarian dumplings and she said it was amazing but she didn't like the sause it came with (salt flavour) so we just had it with the soy sauce that is already provided for tou on the table as well as chilly oil, salted soy sause, less salt soy sause and chilli seasoning.

Lovely Place for a Romantic Dinner , The ambience is impressive with very good color schemes. Food is 5 Star, plenty of food options including Halal, Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten free. Service is outstanding.

I and my fiancée dinned in at this restaurant last week and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was well-disposed. The food was also tasty. In short its a nice place for dine in with your partner specially because of ambiance.

My family and I just had dinner at Tootoomoo's and the food was delicious as always. We dined at the Crouch End branch and our waitress was - she gave us excellent customer service as she made sure to check whether we were happy with our food and was very attentive when we needed something. She was very friendly and made our dining experience fantastic!

I've given this place a chance on many occasions. There are problems each time. Too many menu items; focus on the far fewer and do them well. This time, rice is broken and overcooked and pad thai has gross tasting chicken and no sauce ingredients of normal pad thai. Deliveroo would not resolve so I am forced to go public. Starters were of a good quality.

Cold food delivery, no duck in duck rolls, fried rice laced (and I mean laced) with white pepper, and other issues. Poor quality. The restaurant has been in touch and is looking to see what mistakes were made, willing to investigate and learn, even offering some credits for next time, which is a very positive attitude and makes me want to give them another chance in the future.

The staff fantastic and attentive, in particular the asain guy in a red jumper who served me and my husband . The food was delicious and what we’ve come to expect from Tootoomoo. I had the Smoked Chicken and if it was double the price I would be happy. Great service, great food, good price. Will be visiting again even though it’s not my local Tootoomoo!

The food turned up incredibly quickly and the delivery guy was adequately pleasant. But I have never had such bland Sichuan chicken in my life! In an entire tray, I counted one solitary cashew nut and only trace elements of chilli.

Ordered a delivery with deliveroo,, it never turned up. Called the restaurant and they were beyond unhelpful… could not care and said it’s an issue with deliveroo and not them

Food was still warm upon arrival, seasoning on the squid was spot on and the Korean fried chicken was definitely the best I ever had. Called up the shop just to let them know there was a little modification on the orders and it was perfectly commuted. Hats of you the service team. Will definitely tick this in into my favourites. 👍

First time dining in with a group of 5, warm welcome and good explanation for the first timers on their menu. Food was on time and customer service was just there on our needs. Discussing on the food, I would say they dishes we had was just spot on. Strongly recommended 👌🏽

The prices are also very convenient for what you get, which really made the difference and let us order more of their delicious food than maybe we could have normally had in any restaurant in Soho! We were served by the lovely Rafa who was simply spot on! Caring, attempting and professional! We truly enjoyed being looked after by her, we will ABSOLUTELY come back and recommend this place! Tootoomoo is a great place for japanese food,I can quite honestly say that I have eaten some best japanese food there,their dishes are very delicious and mouthwatering,warm environment,friendly staffs overall a very nice place to taste authentic japanese food. I would definitely recommend yall to go there.
