We didn’t have a booking, but the lovely host Irina still managed to find us a table—super friendly and helpful from the start. The location is great, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Now the steak… absolutely to die for. Cooked perfectly, full of flavor—honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. Service was quick, kind, and professional. Everything about the meal felt easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great kosher spot in central London.

We had 54 guests for lunch to celebrate our wedding. The food, the service and the staff were all exceptional. This restaurant has to be the finest kosher restaurant in London, it’s cool it’s trendy and every guest was blown away. Top west end location which is set in a very sophisticated dining room and bar. The chicken soup was presented in a unique way with the noodles etc presented in a steamed basket. The steak and chips also ace. Service exceptional. All happen to be kosher

Sublime ! Best Sticky Toffee Pudding in town!

Let me start on a positive note. It won’t take long. After stumbling across Tony Page by chance, I thought it would be a suitable place to eat after paying our respects at Hoop Lane following our mother’s death four year ago. It’s comfortable and the service is obliging, no question. As a wine professional, I found the wine list disappointing, first in the selection which, albeit Kosher, could have been so much better, secondly in the excessive pricing and finally when the waiter hadn’t a clue what the non-champagne sparkling wine was. I have long been a fan of The Brass Rail’s melt-in-the mouth salt beef and tongue in Selfridges but here the salt beef and tongue here were pitiful. I had to send my dish back because it was barely warm, but the new plate was no better: tough salt beef, mushy tongue and shop-bought pickles. Cue, the doggy bag, for, yes, the dog. I had been encouraged by the many positive reviews online but what had these reviewers been smoking? Tony Page badly needs to pull up its socks if it’s to be taken seriously as a quality Kosher restaurant, because unless it does so , it’s heading for the Exodus door.

This wants to be an up-market restaurant and is decked out with signed celebrity photographs, as if Bowie and Mick Jagger were regulars. There's something curiously inauthentic about the place, with very standard food served at very expensive prices. Roast beef came with a stodgy yorkshire pudding (from a packet?), and the accompanying vegetables looked exhausted. None of the food felt like it has been cooked with interest let alone passion. What a missed opportunity to celebrate great Jewish cuisine.

Really wanted to love this place. But the quality just isn’t there. The pickles were from a jar (I mean what Jewish place can’t make their own pickles??), the salt beef was cold and tough. The dessert I swear was frozen. It lacks class and refinement. Service didn’t know where the wine was from, and the wine was incredibly expensive. We won’t be back

One of the best experience that I ever had

At first glance it appears to be a very fancy place so I had high expectations especially for the price and it’s really just ok. I ordered the burger and the cottage pie. And both were just ok even less than ok for the price. Maybe this is the expectation for kosher food outside of Israel but I expected more for the price. Had it been cheaper maybe I would have given it 3 stars.

The restaurant, newly relocated to Marylebone in January 2025 (previously at Lancaster Gate W2), is absolutely beautiful. The upscale decor, white tablecloths, and attentive staff in uniforms really elevate the ambiance. 👌 Prices are on the higher side, starting around £20-£50, but totally worth it for the quality. I started with the tuna tataki, which were absolutely delicious 😍—highly recommend! For my main, I chose the ribeye steak with sides, and everything was perfectly cooked and served on time. The meal was topped off with a delightful dessert 🍰. Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommended if you’re looking for top-quality kosher food in the Marylebone area. 👍

Elegimos Island Grill sobre las opciones de Belsize Park ya que quería algo un poco más lujoso, con mejor servicio, mejor ambiente y mejor comida. No nos decepcionaron. Recibimos un buen reconocimiento como huéspedes que regresan de la gerente, nos sentamos inmediatamente en una mesa de esquina agradable, y ofrecimos bebidas de inmediato. El restaurante estaba muy ocupado (que es genial: necesitamos apoyar a nuestros restaurantes) , y Simon, el camarero jefe (y sumiller muy bien informado) estaba haciendo todo lo posible (y teniendo éxito) para mantener el servicio a sus altos estándares habituales. Parecía apresurado, pero su valiosa intervención personal marcó una gran diferencia en las experiencias de todas las mesas cercanas a nosotros. Dishes at a very high level, delicious

Overall, this was a really enjoyable experience. The steak and Cottage Pie were terrific. The hummus was good as well, but the sausage dish was not good at all. If it weren’t for this dish, this place would be 5 star.

Demasiado relleno para tener postre, disfrutamos de un cóctel descarado o dos y luego nos encontramos con Tony Page, que más tarde nos enteramos de que era el propietario. Qué hombre encantador. Very good restaurant. The only negative point is the person at reception, execrable who refuses to allow us to return with children and is very unpleasant. I recommend this restaurant, however the person at the entrance needs to be changed.

Avis aux Français : La nourriture n’est pas du tout à la hauteur des prix pratiqués. Comptez 90 € par personne pour un houmous sans saveur, un tartare de saumon fade et des saucisses à la limite du comestible. Les plats manquent cruellement d'originalité et ne justifient absolument pas des tarifs aussi élevés. Pour ceux qui connaissent les bons restaurants bassari en France, comme le Kavod ou le Bassar, mieux vaut explorer le quartier juif ou tester Mazal au Camden Market. Là, au moins, vous ne risquez pas de vivre une déception comme la nôtre.

I was particularly happy to see that a kosher restaurant was near my area. After coming back from work, I noticed they also had a sukkah! I hadn’t had the opportunity to recite the bracha (blessing) yet, so I kindly asked the waiters if I could quickly do so. The waiters were nice enough to say yes but wanted to check with the owner first. The owner then rudely came up to me and asked, “Do you have a table?” I answered, “No,” and explained that I just wanted to quickly recite the blessing. He then aggressively told me, “Get out now.” My friend and I were both shocked because, regardless of whether or not I had a table, that is not the way to speak to people or potential diners. I completely understand that the owner is not obligated to let me recite the blessing, but his tone and rudeness were entirely unacceptable. Given that the owner is also Jewish and runs a kosher restaurant, he should be the first person to understand the importance of basic Jewish mitzvot (commandments), like helping a fellow Jew fulfill a religious obligation. However, it seems that these values were neither taught to him nor reflected in the atmosphere of his restaurant.

Soups are excellent! The chicken supreme and the curry beef are nice. Fish was not really good. Broccoli too hot.

The restaurant is located not far from the center of london. There is a very close underground rail station so its very convenient. Also its with a walking distance from paddington rail station. The restaurant, located inside the Lancaster Hotel in an upscale area of London, offered the perfect setting for a business meeting with its excellent service and atmosphere. The food was decent, but the drinks were outstanding.

Tony page is a wonderful, steakhouse restaurant we always visit when we are in London. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is fantastic. The lemon merangue pie is world class and should absolutely not be missed. Order a glass of wine or a bottle of enjoy

Our group of 4 had a really substandard experience at this restaurant. One of our group posted a poor review and I (as the one who booked) received a phone call from the manager of the restaurant. She seemed really distressed and asked how to put things right for us with a refund or repeat visit but as I was about to eat a meal I asked her to send an email with suggestions. Needless to say this never appeared. Her excuses for the bad experience ranged from chefs not turning up to admitting that the staff needed further training. The food was extremely average, the drink overpriced and the service jokey, slow and overfamiliar.

The service starts with the seating, taking the coat, pouring the drinks, etc. An interesting and unique menu, fresh and prepared on the spot, the kitchen is open and you can see how it is prepared, we didn't like all the dishes we ordered. I went with my friends for the first time and the whole experience was incredible. From the moment we go in, Iryna the manager treated us like family. The whole team was all the time looking after us making the whole dinner an unforgettable experience. Food was incredible, from starters to desserts. Dans le quartier de paddington..à quelques mètres de l italien garden de Hyde Park..grande salle agréable accueil et service souriant et professionnel..côté cuisine un peu de justesse dans les assaisonnements et les sauces ne seraient pas de trop …soirée agréable.

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant, though not particularly cheap it is good value for money , and for a kosher restaurant is a cut above many of the others I’ve visited. The duck salad did not have huge amounts of duck . Would recommend for a special occasion.

Delicious food and good overall service, but pricey.

If you want a special evening, I couldn't recommend anywhere better than Island Grill. The food was superb both in terms of flavours and presentation. In addition the service was exemplary - welcoming, efficient but not officious. I had booked, I had amde a note that we were coming to celebrate my son's 30th birthday. Without requiring a reminder, an additional dessert was broughtwith candle and a happy birthday message in chocolate on the plate which was a lovely surprise gesture. We will definitely come back and will happily recommend it to other friends and family. We won't wait for a celebration as the food itself is worth celebrating. Thank you for a lovely evening.

True Fine Dining in a Kosher kitchen. Lamb chops , Chicken and Burgers were amazing. Also the corn pomegranate salad was heaven

If I could give 6 stars I would. Tony Page and his team have nailed it with how a high end kosher restaurant should be. The staff were incredible and clearly are experts in their field. The menu covers everybody's tastes and there is plenty of choice. London is lucky to have this restaurant. We had the Tomahawk steak, it was incredible and worth waiting for.

First time eating here, will not be the last by any means. Quality of food and presentation was exceptional, details paid to every part of the service.

The food was delicious! It was fresh and had interesting flavors. The only reason I rated it as a 4 is that it is a pretty small menu overall, not a lot of appetizers or mains to choose from. But the service was excellent and moved along. Overall very very good!

We went to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. Excellent food, tasty and beautifully presented, attentive and friendly staff and pleasant ambience. We were also presented with an end of meal surprise. We would definitely revisit and would recommend this restaurant for any excuse.

Excellent restaurant , the dessert was very good, the staff were helpful , very pleasant vibe and easily accessibly by London' subway system, although things could have been made clearer in terms of it's Kosher certification eg ....a certificate at entrance.... and I find having a picture of an inappropriately dressed drug - addict Amy winehouse a bit disrespectful considering the high end nature of the restaurant. Food was insanely good, from the starters which I forgot to take a picture of, to the dessert which was outstanding. Very good selection as well for both the main menu and the drinks menu. We had such a great time!

Family friendly kosher restaurant. We took a mix of various dishes and found them well cooked and well presented. Attentive service guaranteed. The wine list is a bit disappointing. Several dishes listed on the menu were no longer available.

I had a perfect lunch experience today at the Island grill! The staff were friendly and effective, the food was great and the pastry Chef made an unique plate for my friend’s birthday. We will definitely come back! Thank you very much for making our day!

Not my first time here, but this place never ceases to impress me (and I should add both my wife and married children to that). Usually my problem is what to choose, as on the one hand I know quite a few of the dishes, but on the other hand I always like to try new things. So this time I did indeed take the plunge and tried the salmon main. The salmon itself was clearly of top quality and freshness, and was cooked to perfection. The pea veloute was sublime, and I asked the waiter to bring me a spoon to finish it up. Service is excellent and very professional, and as a reasonably regular customer (well, about once in 6-8 weeks) it really makes a difference when the manager recognises you as you enter. This is a wonderful place, which we will come back to again and again. Not cheap, but excellent value for such quality.

Worst place to go, Rude staff and bad food And very expensive

Our service was impeccable. Anton our waiter and Isaac our Shoimer were both great, so helpful and attentive. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was good. Will definitely visit again, one of the best kosher restaurants I've ever been to.
