195 Piccadilly is a calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of the west end. Great for coffee or a bite to eat.

Awards. They need to work on presentation....slides out of synch with the speaker...more rehearsals maybe? And the nibbles would be better if they were more varied, savouries....maybe avoid the Chocky donuts.

Escorted my 11 year old here for business. Security, bar staff, waiters, cleaners, chefs are all dedicated, hard working individuals who couldnt be faulted at all. Everyone was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. He had a fantastic time.

Was lucky enough to attend a special screening of "You" with a cast Q & A at the end! This prestigious and iconic venue is only a few minutes walk from Piccadilly tube station so easy to get to. The screening was in Princess Anne Theatre which had comfortable seats and the hospitality staff were helpful. All in all a great experience 🙂

My daughter, who's a member, took me to BAFTA yesterday for a late lunch. Enjoyed a nice Caesar salad with a side of fries. Didn't want dessert so bar made me an Irish coffee which I very much appreciated! The staff were all great - professional and friendly - and the venue had a relaxed atmosphere.

BAFTA a rich heritage of the British film industry truly lovely place to visit when invited. (You must be a member to be able to get access to the luncheon area on the 4th floor.) The Venue is packed with memorabilia with famous celebrities decked out onto the walls and the bathrooms are modern and well presented and very clean The staff are really friendly, polite and very accommodating. The one thing that makes it a really enjoyable visit is that it's a really relaxed atmosphere. The food is really well prepared and well presented and very enjoyable, prices are cheaper than most venues in London and you can talk shop without having fear of hearing loud music. I would recommend that you go out on the balcony and take in the London atmosphere. If you ever get the chance to be invited for lunch, it's an experience that you will definitely not forget.

Amazing sanjay leela bhansali event at Bafta. Event was well organised and staff was friendly. Its just some people like us arrived early, concierge did not let us in early and we all were freezing out side the building. I hope next time Bafta staff make some arrangement not let people standing on the road. Thank god it was not raining.

Stunning venue since the amazing multi-million pound refurbishment- stunning theatre in particular. Staff are amazing other than Philippa in events who was an absolute nightmare to deal with. Unresponsive jobsworth. She gets one star. Rest of staff and venue get five - especially the AV team.

I haven't signed up to join, but a videogame developer colleague brought me in as a guest for coffee in the lovely new lounge area where we enjoyed great service and decor while taking a quiet video meeting. He says they also do fun member's events there as well.

Working there will be something to see when the building is finished

Not everyday do you come across a cafe that is so spacious in central London, right smack in picadilly. The seats were comfortable, tables were broad enough for work and meetings. Entire place felt Super clean and saintiized, with a nice fragrant in the air, amazing cleaning policy. The coffee was good as well and cheap. Staff were very polite. A great place for both work and leisure meetings!

Coffee was excellent. Allergen list covered a wider selection of items than were available, making it difficult to understand what was both available and allergen-free.

Stopped in for a coffee and a snack and it was pleasantly quiet. Coffee was excellent. Would have appreciated more dairy-free options.

So lovely, brilliant tea/coffee and an enriching display of film and art process. I was fortunate to come across this place.

Nice coffee and carrot cake but nothing exciting for me but was clean and staff polite and friendly.

Nice and quiet, reasonable prices for location. Companion complained bread was tough but my vegan wrap was very tasty. Enjoyed the small costume display downstairs.

I have been here about 3 times now, twice for meetings. Not sure why it is always relatively quiet when I go in as it is a lovely place. I think it might be because it's a bit of a building site outside at the moment. It's spacious, very nice decor, good pastries, generous drinks sizes and nice service. Same prices as the nearby grungy chains but so much better!

Here for work Christmas party. Great venue and we were well looked after.

Not sure it was for non-members. Seemed well set up members of BAFTA.

Covered an event on the lower area that is a coffee/restaurant during the day. This was hired out and the space was truly transformed into a full blown Movies Themed Christmas party. Lovely decor, great drinks and the staff were professional and friendly. Canapés were of course delicious and what a place to hold an event.

To be honest, this place has everything to be good, but it feels dark, gloomy and neglected somehow. The toilets downstairs, however, are very snazzy.

Exhibition is pushing it. About ten little photo's of unrecognisable people somehow connected to the television and film world all displayed within the cafe. Then downstairs five outfits worn by Jodie Comer in Killling Eve.

Delighted to be first customers for afternoon tea. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Faultless service, delicious food, incredible vaule for money. Loved the way they have linked the menu to the current exhibition. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Bafta.....

What a find, great cafe with just the best and most friendly lady behind the counter you could meet. Service with a massive smile, delicious Christmas cake and coffee. Cannot recommend enough.

Plenty of space and not a rip off

Accidentally found this so peaceful cafe after failing to find refreshments in Fortnums. It was our lucky day. The selection of eatables was lovely and the staff so very friendly. Enquired how our day was going- had our shopping been successful? Individual tea pots and crispy croissants. The exhibits - Marlborough’s wig from “ The Favourite “ and Villanelles dress from Killing Eve to mention two, were superb. Just lovely.

Amazing place to sit and enjoy some lunch. Nice open space with Bafta winning films and games dotted around to admire.

Hidden gem in the super busy Piccadilly area

nice alternative to the main building whilst it undergoes refurbishment. Could be open for some of the evening however.

Scones were dry, coffee was good, salads very good. Well priced.

A nice quiet fresh space off busy Piccadilly. Unusual selection of lunch items which was nice to see. Not a huge menu but nicely put together. I had a beetroot, goats cheese, toasted pumpkin seed etc salad and it was really fresh and tasty. It was measured out in a small cereal bowl but cost £5.40. As a lunch salad it was not at all large enough and very much over priced. I did complain and was given more which was nice but I think they need to be more realistic on their portion/price. We decided to go somewhere else to get dessert.

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday afternoon for a drink. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Such a nice place, perfect hospitality and friendly service, the tea and cake were exactly what we needed, for an hour we were in a different place out of the noise and rush of Piccadilly street. Get inside have some tea and cake, a perfect place to relax.

I was here for the launch party of the MS Society's Stop MS Campaign. Bafta is not quite as glamorous in real life as it looks when it appears on the TV. While there seemed to be lots of staff, helpfulness was obviously not part of their job descriptions. Nice posh loos, but the left luggage area small and pretty insecure. The drinks were pretty good and the mini snacks very tasty.

Disappointed at their "exhibition". Turned out to be a number of displays around their café. Many of which we couldn't get to because they were above occupied tables.

Lovely lunch here today. Service was fantastic. Healthy menu options. Plenty of seating. Quiet. Great location.

Really lovely cafe with a great atmosphere. Great hidden gem to get away from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly. Attentive staff and tasty pastries. Exhibition is small but mighty and gives an insight to everything that BAFTA does.

Very friendly, helpful staff and considering the location the prices weren't bad. Tea and coffee with scones, clotted cream and jam for 2 all for £11. Walked around the exhibition afterwards which wasn't exactly mind blowing but it adds a little bit extra.

My new favourite place to hold meetings. Great friendly staff and in true Piccadilly style serving Fortnums tea which I love! Delicious cinnamon wheel and lots of delicious looking pastries on display.

I visited the ground floor cafe at Bafta’s Piccadilly HQ which I noticed for the first time. It feels as much exhibition space as cafe because all around the front space and on a row of posters effectively curtaining off the rear space are photographs from films, of landscapes, actresses and a young Tom Courtenay. A huge metallic BAFTA mask invites a personal injury claim if one gets too close. This afternoon from a well-staffed counter were available a wide range of beverages, pastries and desserts. No complaints about my double espresso and Chelsea bun both available at a slightly more competitive price than at many a High Street chain. An excursion to the downstairs restrooms necessitated the passing by of a large basement dining space the entrance to which was policed (sadly) neither by a man in a mask nor Joanna Lumley.

It's a nice space, it has this sort of film set feel to it. I learned a lot about BAFTA and the people that make up its members by dropping in and checking out the exhibition. Everything feels fairly priced especially for piccadilly Circus. Has WiFi so a good place to sit with some coffee or catch up for a chat

Great for tea in the afternoon, super friendly staff and good cake selection

Greeted by very friendly gentleman who served us when we dropped in on a Sunday afternoon as we were passing. It was very quiet as we were ahead of the rush of people heading home at the end of the day but we had our pick of tables. Clean, stylish and not as expensive as you might think. My salad was delicious and my daughter loved her cake. Our gins were excellent and the recommendation of tonic was spot on. We would definitely visit again.

We had a very nice lunch recently at Bafta Piccadilly. The food was excellent and the waiter called Eric was extremely attentive and helpful.

Me and My Mother went into the BAFTA cafe and we wanted to get her a plain cheese toastie and the guys behind the counter made her welcome and did that for her and I was really appreciative. Very nice welcoming staff!

We had reasonably priced salad bowls and very good coffee in BAFTA near Piccadilly Circus, all served by a chatty man who said they had been open just two weeks. It doesn’t look like a cafe cum restaurant from outside but we all enjoyed the food, and as a venue it is much more interesting than most central London places.

Excellent customer service. Delicious Battenburg. Please invest in proper cutlery! Also the high stools at the front are very uncomfortable. I will be back as the Battenburg was a delight and customer service top notch.

Amazing theatre and definite atmosphere with actual seats endowed by actors and directors of past but acoustics are better with a larger production.

No red carpet but an iconic venue. Treated as VIPs. The bar on the second floor was spacious and lively and although crowded, seats were available. A great opportunity to experience the Film Theatre that has hosted many Stars of the Silver Screen
