I have been here for cigars, drinks and food multiple times. Each and every time the atmosphere has been amazing. I usually sit outside as I like to smoke cigars. Their menu boasts a very good selection of cigars. The menu is informative and the food selection is great. Halal options and vegetarian options are available upon request. The service here is very good and attentive. With staff going the extra mile to make sure your stay with them is comfortable. The outdoor area also has overhead heaters and blankets for those chilli days. Parking is available around surrounding roads (paybyphone) app. I Will return again. Thankyou

This venue is a must visit for an cigar loving traveller or London local for that matter. Their humidor has a good selection of sticks, and their bar makes some great bespoke cocktails like the Churchill Negroni. On the night I visited, the service was exceptional, especially from Alexa & Roberto. I will definitely come back on my next visit to London.

From the moment I arrived, service was impeccable. Staff were as inviting as the ambience. Roberto especially made sure to tend to our every need, he made sure it was a birthday I’d never forget and I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you!

5 of us really enjoyed our time here. The drinks are amazing and the food is good. 4 of us had cigars from the humidor and had the cigar service which was great. We had to put a £68.50 down payment down each to ensure the table was held in advance. Service was generally decent but when it came to asking for the bill, we had to ask 3 different people for it actually to be bought to us so we could pay. This was a little disappointing for such an upper class venue. However, I would still go again.

Excellent Staff always makes you feel home and comfortable .. in a friendly and professional way at the same time .. we enjoy Food/ Drinks/ Cigars at the terrance in lovely nights with our friends .. Victoria, Melissa, Roberto always makes our experiences enjoyable and to the next level with a smile on thier faces.

Terrible overpriced for what they provide. A cigar I regularly purchase for $12US was $65 pounds. All alcohol was also terribly overpriced. Just go to a neighborhood pub instead.

The food was really bad. I found a rat in the place and the way they were treated was really bad. If you support any political activity other than theirs, they will throw you out without respecting freedom of expression, which is us, so that we are treated like this.

Our experience was fantastic! The cocktails were uniquely delicious, and the food was very nice too! The atmosphere in the whole bar was cosy but classy and certainly entertaining. Alberto was brilliant, super friendly and very, very attentive, just like Andrii and the rest of the team. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone either visiting London or just looking for a more elegant night.

We booked for Father’s Day Sunday lunch and had the most wonderful time. The food was very good and most importantly the service was amazing. They had got a table ready with a highchair and children’s activity for my son which I was very grateful for. They were very considerate about the level of music as my son was sleeping as well. I must say I will definitely return. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience, live music on a Sunday as well during Sunday lunch

The Churchill was recommended by The Cumberland Hotel as a place my husband could smoke a cigar. It was a Saturday night but the Churchill staff found us a comfortable spot outside where we spent a few hours having some beers and simple snacks. A lovely place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. Our server Roberto saw to our every need and we had a nice conversation about Italy. Will definitely return if we are in the area.

The staff at The Churchill Bar & Terrace are top-notch. There is also a cigar lounge in this bar located outside the bar. During this windy and cold weather, they turned on the heater and provided blankets. You can have your own cigar or just buy quality cigars from their collection.

Went for cocktails. Ultra chic bar, lovely and original cocktails. Friendly service and attentive service. Were able to book a table same day just for drinks, the bar itself is very beautiful. They brought nuts and chilli crackers and replenished them regularly. Nice small cloth napkins and attention to details in the drinks. It was just a pleasure to hang out in here and even the bar menu looked good. Will return!

A really lovely experience all round - the signature cocktail menu is fantastic, with some really unusual flavours and experiences. Everything is beautifully presented and high quality, for both food and drink. The fried halloumi was delicious without being too heavy or salty and the nibbles are all lovely. The staff are very accommodating and attentive. They offered to help advise on drinks and were able to offer alternatives when people's choices were unavailable. There is a seating area outside that is also heated and with blankets etc. so there's a good atmosphere inside or outside.

I’ve come to celebrate my father’s 65th and had fantastic customer service from Roberto, a very professional, polite & insightful gentlemen. Showed my father the correct way to cut a cigar would highly recommend to anyone.

Came for a cigar in the terrace, followed by dinner at the bar. Terrace is pleasant and service is polite if a bit stiff. Their collection of cigars is quite limited though. Food at the bar is also limited, I had a trio of mini hamburgers (GBP 22) which was pretty good and paired with fried sweet potatoes was sufficient for dinner. Only 2 beers available! In a bar in central London? MMMhhh Food selection is more complete at the restaurant of the hotel.

Service and atmosphere were superb. I did not try the food menu so I cannot rate it. Cigars were excellent. Hidden gem, would visit again.

The drinks are spectacular but watching Marco mix them was like watching a potion master brew a magic elixir. Worth a trip here just for that.

Drinks mediocre and nothing we haven't experienced before. We would have tried something else as we don't like to dismiss somewhere on our first choice of drinks but the service was appalling so we were out of there after our first cocktails. Bartender was dismissive and too busy trying to chat up the single girl sitting at the bar next to us rather than explain the drinks to us. First he asked my friend for our order while I'd actually left the bar for a minute. When she said she'd wait till I got back, she felt like he replied in a patronising manner (she's the most easy-going person I know so this was very unusual). Then I had a cocktail which had a pipette of Ancho Reyes attached to it. It was supposed to be 'injected' into the cocktail by the customer but the bartender just put the drink in front of me and walked off without explaining it. Had to call him over to explain it. Guess he hadn't liked me asking about the first glass he'd used, which cracked when he poured the drink. I enquired where it had cracked after seeing him empty the drink back into the shaker to repour into a new glass. Reasonable question, if you ask me. My friend and I go to a lot of high-end cocktail bars and were seriously peeved to be treated so shabbily. We usually have nothing but praise for our bartenders and love a good convo with them about the drinks but this place is now off the map as far as we're concerned.

Ask for roberto for cigar advice, he happily toured us through the humidor. Also, surprisingly good coffee!

Champaigne 40% ????!!! Arrived to The Churchill bar and were shown to our reserved table. The bar has nice vibe, very clean and lovely decor. It was not busy that evening. I has not heard of the BILLECART-SALMON BRUT RÉSERVE Champagne, So I enquired with our waitress as to how many alcoholic percentage this particular Champagne was. Knowing that it must be either 12% or 12.5%. She went along to find out, returning with an answer: Its 40% alcohol! I looked at her with utter bewilderment, saying it cannot be, as champagne is around the 12%. So, she went to bring the bottle. When she returned, she said, you are right, its 12%. I said thank you we shall take it. Another waiter came opened the bottle and poured it for us. Sadly, he did not return to replenish our glasses and I ended up having to serve us. Just after I'd topped us up the original waitress came back. She then proceeded to top our glasses to the brim going between each glass and holding the bottle up to the light to see if she'd managed to empty it, which she eventually did. We were quite surprised by this behaviour. It then took a painful 20 minutes of trying to attract someone's attention to ask for the bill. Despite this being a small venue none of the (around 8) staff members were reading the room in order to service the guests. Disappointingly we shall not return.

Myself and a few friends decided to visit this bar. We visited another upscale bar at Nobu Hotel and then decided to visit The Churchill Bar & Terrace. There were seven us of in total consisting of mostly black women. We attempted to open the door into the bar. However, the entrance was locked. A waitress opened the door for us. Victor, one of the servers at the bar told us that he could not seat us as there were too many of us. I noted that there were a few available tables and seats dotted around the venue. However, he insisted that he could not seat us. I suggested that we sat by the bar as there were a few empty seats by the bar. I even saw about 2 people already seated there. Victor stated that they do not allow standing by the bar. We asked for other bar recommendations. He suggested we visit the Hard Rock Cafe or a local pub. We then asked if he could recommend upscale bars in the area. He suggested travelling to Soho. We left and walked for a bit before the group split up - some decided to go home, while three of us said we would return to The Churchill as it's a smaller group now. Do note that some of my friends believed that the experience was a racist encounter. However, I disagreed and said that it was because we were a large group. Hence why I decided to return to the bar. When we returned, I noticed a black man seated by the steps with a waiter. I couldn't tell if he was drunk. The waiter said that they were not longer serving alcohol. We said that was fine. When Victor opened the door, he popped his head out and was essentially blocking the entrance. He then stated that the bar closes in 30 minutes so they were not taking anymore orders. We stated that we just wanted a drink but he insisted that the bar was closed. We then said that's fine as we just wanted to sit down until it closed. Victor refused us entry and said that he would not let us sit in the premises. After a back and forth discussion, he then suggested that we sit in the hotel reception area but that he would not allow us into the bar. I only saw white people in the bar. My friend then pointed to Victor and stated that people were ordering at the bar. He still refused us entry. We then decided to complain at the hotel. We spoke to Tomas, the night duty manager and complained about our experience. He took my details and gave me his business card and said that he would call me the following day to address my complaints. I did state that I would wait to hear from him before leaving my review. However, the experience was so horrendous that I could not hold off submitting my review. I am going to look into this matter as this behaviour is unacceptable. I can't believe that we're still being discriminated against because of the colour of our skin. A Reply to The Churchill Bar & Terrace's response by Fabio: There were many seats by the bar that could have accommodated for the seven of us. Bar snacks and drinks are still as good as before but cigarettes have no place in a cigar bar. Additionally a £20 cutting fee which provides no value compared to any other hotel bar with an outdoor terrace. Seats are also extremely cramped outdoors.

Solid bar, excellent service. Easy to choose a decent cigar

It's definitely worth reserving a spot at this popular and stylish outdoor terrace (with heaters & blankets if required) which pays homage to Winston Churchill. The cocktails are very good and you can also order a cigar if that's your thing. However, do take control of the extensive drinks menu as if you simply ask for a straight-up G&T they will invariably serve you one of the higher priced gins rather than the 'house' gin (there's also a 13.5% service charge on everything). Well worth a visit.

Perfect spot for a date night. One of the finest bars in London with a cosy outdoor seating. If you like cocktails - do try the classic negronis. Order the cheese platter. All of the small plates are actually very nice. Service top notch too.

Cocktails are a little on the pricey side but 2bh they are presented exquisitely and the service was very good. Maybe got a bit lucky as we were a small group and wasn't too busy at 9pm, so was easy to get a table for drinks.

Came here as part of treating my boyfriend for his birthday, and it was amazing!! I got a blenheim fizz cocktail and he got an old fashioned, having 3 rounds each, it was lovely! The terrace is heated and has a lovely atmosphere. Even better when a staff member heard it was my bf’s birthday, he gave us a luxury cocktail each on the house!! Would definitely visit this place again :) x

The absolute best place for a wine night. Roberto and Sara over there are the best hosts you could find in London.

An oasis in the heart of London. Great selection of cigars. The cocktails were unique and fun. The food was great. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We sat on the terrace which is right on the sidewalk but you can’t see the street as the garden surrounds the area making it calm, inviting, and intimate. Each table had its own heater and each guest their own blanket. I am not a smoker but my spouse enjoys a cigar; I was not bothered by smoke at all since we were outside. Loved this place and the whole team. Really great service.

A disgrace to cigar lounges. Awful service. Grim and miserable. Attempted to charge us twice for a 'failed transaction' that clearly went through - so one urges the customers to check their bank accounts before tapping that card machine again. Waited almost 20 minutes for our beverages. Limited selection of poorly preserved cigars. Bottom line: Avoid. Head to the Hotel No. Ten Manchester Street instead - a 4 minute drive, open as late, for a far superior experience. Zero stars would be fairer. But not an option here.

The place is nice, but I’ve been placed in a very bad table straight next to the entrance door and the door for the external area making the experience extremely unpleasant. After asking an alternative, I’ve got told that there was just that table and another one very close, despite most of the tables were empty and remained empty for the whole 2 hour slot we were allowed to stay. They should strongly consider not putting tables at the entrance just to have more seats and be more accommodating

My wife and I enjoyed an early evening drink here. They have an =amazing array of the most innovative, creative and lovely cocktails! The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgable and personable. They made us feel very welcome indeed! Thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a great ambience, great drinks and great service.

After frequenting this place for years. In the last few years the level of service is below par. With service at a mediocre restaurant being more attentive. Requests go unanswered. Staff are not in sync and working well with one another. And as always difficult to get a table outside for a smoke.

The otherwise faintly anonymous Hyatt Regency hotel, just off Oxford Street, is now the home of a glamorous bar designed as homage to one of the country’s most iconic political figures, Winston Churchill.

We had a lovely evening at the Churchill terrace which is pretty and comfortable. The staff is attentive. Cocktails are great and you definitely should try the Pinot noir from South Africa!

Good first time experience, cocktails were nice and looked unique. Cigars tasted good, low to medium flavour was a good pick, slow burn. Had me feeling like Che Guevara. Can't remember the staffs names but there was a guy at the door that welcomed us, took us to our table and helped us decide on choosing a cigar, cool guy, appreciate him. There was a pretty young lady who helped with the cocktails and taking our coats, she didn't disappoint when we asked for a 'strong and sweet' cocktail. Felt like we gave her a lot to do with our indecisiveness but she was of great assistance and we appreciate her and the business as a whole. Will be back.

High end but relaxing environment. We only came for drinks and possibly a little sweet treat. They did not disappoint!

Very poor service. It was brother and sister-in-laws wedding anniversary but staff did not mention this when we arrived (despite saying this when I booked table) and then waitress kept on forgetting our drinking order and did not apologise when raised with her and a staff member and blamed it on being busy, when the reality was that there were only a handful of people in the bar! Given the prices (which i don't mind of the service is decent) you expect more from the staff and therefore I felt unable to leave a tip which is usual for me but I was embarrassed as I had spoken so highly of the bar to my brother and his wife, and felt let down. Sorry but I cant see myself returning anytime soon...

What made the night was the service by Costas Kostas, very attentive and really humble in looking after us. You can see he was serving everyone with the same positive attitude to make everyone feel welcome. Some of the other guys had the judgemental persona in them, trying to make us spend more. You sense it in the way they speak to you. 6 stars for Costas! The others... Well, maybe they had a bad day or generally are like that.
