DISAPPOINTED…..! AWFUL EXPERIENCE… I WANT MY REFUND! I went to MONKEY 47 Gin experience yesterday on 13th September just to be relaxed and have some new experiences. Obviously I have had no idea about their gin cocktails. When I asked to the stuff they had no idea what’s on the menu. 3 people came and can’t explain what’s good or what I’ll have experience from their gin. The service was awful. I have waited too long. I ordered some canapés on the top of the fish. And they’re one of gin cocktails. The canapé came and ℹ finished all after 20 min. My drink came. It was seriously unpleasant. I said I want to get a bill and not drink any cocktails, I just want to go… *** They pretty much know I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH ANYTHING. THEY CHARGE ME £11.25 for 3 little slices of canapés and they took the service charge as well… AFTER I PAID one of the Chinese or Japanese girl SHOWED ME THE DOOR. I WANT MY REFUND!

We had a lovely time at the Luggage Room before seeing Stevie Nicks at Hyde Park. Cocktails and service are second to none - a real hidden gem.

Little gem!! Usually open till late, amazing service from staff, really friendly people. Interior is spectacular!!

I went to Luggage room with my husband a few days ago, right from the start the service was second to none the staff were very friendly and so nice to talk to i’delike to give a shout out to Shafin, Finley and Louis all were such a pleasure to be around. It was our anniversary, so Shafin so kindly gave us a glass of champagne each which was very sweet of him. Atmosphere in the bar was warm and pleasant, we will definitely be going back.

We came here a few years ago. It was an amazing. Our second visit couldn’t have been more different. Drinks ok but the waiting staff are rude, unhelpful, nasty. The bar tenders were nice but let down by the worst customer service in memory. We felt like we were an inconvenience. We asked three times for a bar snack of olives. Then after 30 mins I gestured to the waitress (whom I’d asked three times) and then I saw her ask the bar tender and he said to her “we don’t have any”. It was very quiet in there and yet it took them over 30 mins to serve our drinks. We planned to stay for more but decided to leave after one - purely because of the attitude of the waitress. Then they had the audacity to put a service charge on. I asked for this to be removed - I felt a little disappointed at this as the bar staff were ok but the unfriendly, borderline aggressive attitude of the waitress settled it for me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There are so many better places in Mayfair and the surrounding area. We walked a few hundred yards to the Ivy Asia - now they know how to do good service.

Good cocktails and amazing atmosphere. Perfect for date night. It’s a bit on the pricey side but you are paying for the vibe.

Really enjoyed their Christmas cocktails, my favourite was Mistletoe Mint - tasted like After Eight Chocolates. We also tried the Christmas Negroni and Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini. The cocktail prices range between £15-17 per cocktail.

My friends and I had a lovely night here. Easy to talk. Really love the cocktails here, so many options. Would like to go back soon :)

Tried out the Luggage Room after a conference nearby - looks like they are having some building work done outside, we tried the entrance but wasn't open so went in via the hotel entrance. Its not a massive area and when you go in it sort of goes round in an L shape with the bar to your left and then seating along the side and round the corner (with a raised area at end). Staff were really good at sending out nibbles, and collecting glasses etc. Drinks were good - ones I had were not the best I have ever had, but still nice. As it is a small area it can be a little tight moving around if busy, and the noise can get pretty loud. I liked it and glad I visited but not to the point that I must go again tomorrow or anything (although if someone else is paying... 😉 )

We had an excellent experience at the Luggage Room, with knowledgeable staff and top notch drinks! We entered the establishment with high expectations based on previous reviews and based pn the fact the my girlfriend and I run a restaurant with a bar pf our own- the drinks did not disappoint. Well balanced drinks with clear taste profiles and special blends make this the excellent destination for post-restaurant drinks tp finish off the evening. Unfortunately the main door was closed to the bar, and as a result we had to enter through the hotel entrance, but the overall vibe of this speakeasy bar was intimate and relaxed allowing for soft and good private conversations. The bar is classic in its design with a lot of wood and a stone counter giving off a relaxed and high-end impression upon the overall experience. Drinks are priced on the higher end- but absolutely meet expectations with hand carved ice, great bartending techniques and fine craftsmanship of tje cocktails. The only thing missing to add to this experience would be a better presentation of the drinks- but that would just be a cherry on the top. Payed £170 for 8 drinks 👌

An amazing classy location with very nice staff, who can mix tasty drinks for you. The atmosphere was awesome. We say thank you!

Nice cozy place below the hotel. Many cocktails to try from and the music is lounge and not loud. Comfy leather seats.

We arrived at The Luggage Room early for our reservation, before it was due to open in fact, and were greeted warmly. The cocktail menu was interesting and we had a couple of really tasty cocktails. The atmosphere and music was very 1920s/30s and we really liked it. Next time we’ll stay longer.

The Luggage Rack is part of the Marriott Hotel on Grosvenor Square - A great choice for post dinner or show Cocktails. Booking is recommended as seating is limited. They offer unusual drinks choices & presentation in vintage tea cups & glass. My 'Penicillin' was distinctly odd. Overall good choice for both novelty & convenient position.

Lovely location for a romantic date night. Really helpful and attentive bartenders who know their stuff and can make up classic cocktails off the menu. Reasonable prices for central London, also. From the location and being attached to a hotel, you might assume that it's like a clinical hotel bar. From my visit I don't think that's the case. It's nicely tucked away and has a cosy feel to it.

Visited a couple of times recently, both times it was a really good experience. The bar is within a hotel and has a separate entrance from the street, you then go down the stairs to a cosy bar. Had some cocktails which were really good, which came with some nuts as snack which were very tasty! The staff were overwhelmingly helpful and friendly exactly the type of people you would want working in a bar. Definitely recommend.

Very lovely bar team who really looked after us on our wedding anniversary, thank you! Only wish we could have stayed longer and had more cocktails (but knew we'd need to be up early for parenting duties!). Will be back and recommend to others.

Great wee place for a quiet drink with your partner or friends.

They posted a valentines day offer for drinks with canapes. We texted their insta account and were told to book a table and we will get the offer. On the day the waitress had no idea about this deal we later showed them and they offered it to us. We were however offered no canapes whereas the offer said a range of canapes. A member of staff came to us and apologised as there was a “miscommunication” between the kitchen and them and no food was prepared. The two cocktails under the deal were fixed and we had no options. This condition was also not stated in their offer post on insta. Other than an apology and the lack of canapes and the bad service they did not offer us a discount or a free drink to make up for this. Very dissapointed at this level of service . Love the drama of the private door. We booked which is advisable. Cocktails were excellent and the cheese and charcuterie were very substantial. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend

We reserved a table at this bar last night for my son's birthday. We arrived slightly late as traffic was very bad and were told in no uncertain terms that we were 2 minutes late and our table had been released. Whilst I fully appreciate that these establshments have policies in place for no shows etc, it was the manner which we were dealt with that astounded me. The woman in charge made absolutely no effort to apologise or to accommodate us { there were 4 empty tables in the bar at the time}and more or less frogmarched us out and slammed the famous black door behind us. Will not be returning until the staff have had some serious customer service training.

The inner decor was lovely, really well put together. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 cocktails we tried weren't to our taste. And the bar wasn't particularly hidden away, not really a secret feel with the big glowing sign above the door. The toilets were miles away through the labyrinth of halls to the hotel. The cocktails were really quite expensive, but there were an extensive range to try. Really lovely staff, attentive and friendly. Got a booking really last minute which was nice :) Really quick and easy to book from their website.

We spotted this little gem just off Oxford St (based within the Marriott hotel) as we hunted for shelter from the rain. It has low level lighting and lovely comfy seating, 20’s style. We spent some time trying to decide on a cocktail (the selection is extensive) and we opted for ‘The Pope’ finally which was delicious. The staff take great care in the preparation of the cocktails using fresh ingredients. The lady who served us was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks and very friendly. Prices (£16.50 per cocktail) are just above average for central London, and given that this is a 5 star hotel. Easy to spend several hours in comfort here and most definitely one to try.

Quiet. Out of the way. Best dry martini I've had that wasn't mine. Go for the Lemon twist rather than the olive.

We chose this bar after reading good reviews and wanted to go somewhere central. Cocktail list is extensive and service was top notch - recommend.

This place is amazing, such a gem. We visited on 1 June 2019. The cocktail lounge was extremely quiet due to the champions leagues final. We could not have been better looked after. The cocktails were something a bit different with a great variety for everyone. Being a bit of a lightweight the staff even found me a coffee while the family carried on with their cocktails. It made a memorable night for my husbands birthday. Thank you Luggage room!

This little bar is tucked away on the sidestreet near Bond Street station. Dark and dimly lit cute little bar. More for an evening meet up possibly it is located within the hotel. This is a place for a more formal acquaintance.

So nicely done, and men at bar authentically dressed, a shame the ladies weren’t. Most disappointed that there was no jazz playing- the marketing blurb says 1920’s jazz which is what had attracted us to go. We had the same cocktails as the table next to ours and ours were served in normal Glasses but they had there’s in quirky mugs, so that was also disappointing as with these things it is the little things that make the experience Ordered house white then when bill came was charged £16.50 for a glass, they did sort the over charge out- should have been £8- but it’s the hassle to have to go through and it wasn’t done very graciously

I had a drink here while staying at the Marriott. Nice art deco bar and fancy old fashioned drinks. It's a little pricey, but the atmosphere and experience are worth it one time.

This is the third time being here. Always exceptional service and greta drinks. Never feel like leaving the place, can be dangerous:)))

The hotel lobby was quite bright so when we entered the bar it seemed really dark. But once you become accustomed to the light, it's actually very nice. Firstly - staff were everywhere with excellent service. Once you take a seat a little bowl of popcorn appears and keeps getting replaced as the evening continues. The music had a 70s feel but was nice in the background. The bar was lively (10pm Friday) with lots of American voices. The lager was British, though not a brand I knew. But it was nice and cold. The other drink we ordered was a mix of champagne and something else! - very nice indeed. Not cheap at £26 for both drinks but this is a 5 star hotel in Grosvenor Square so pretty much expected. Finally the toilets. A little walk downstairs but clean and fragranced. A cheerful goodbye from the evening staff in the lobby (well done) and a short walk to Bond Street station makes this a nice little place for a drink before heading home, Very nice.

Firstly I was a bit disappointed that no one answered the big black door that you knock on to enter the bar (leading to us having to go through the Marriott hotel to enter the Luggage Room). Prices are what you'd expect from a high end bar located around mayfair: £16 average cocktail £9 average Bottle of beer The surroundings are very luxurious and have a 1920s theme going on. There's a lovely marble staircase that poses for a great photo opportunity! The lighting is quite dark and the music is quite jazzy which sets the scene for a nice chilled relaxed drink. Definitely worth a visit.

Husband and I visited on Saturday evening. Offered a seat at the bar which wasn't a problem as we didn't have a reservation. Friendly bar staff. My husband was happy with his two cocktails and my mocktail was really nice too. Definitely worth a visit when in the Grosvenor Square area.

The bartenders knew how to make a great drinks and serve it cold. The room is great but not really old london style

Nice atmosphere, good bar tender

1st time I had been to The Luggage Room, it was a Friday evening and the venue was still quiet (got busier later on). My wife and I had 4 cocktails each, all were different and the menu was very quirky. The venue and atmosphere is very cool. Overall a fantastic place, the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the service was fantastic and most importantly the cocktails were all very tasty!

Made a booking for work drinks went to the door and no answer, tried again 20mins later still no answer. Had a drink next door and tried again. A guest ended up opening the door. Told we could not stay as we were late! If they would bother to answer the door! Not worth it!

Fun speakeasy-themed bar with an enormous and varied cocktail menu. Ambiance inside is quiet and cozy, but vibrant.

This is a lovely bar just off Oxford Street, near Bond Street. Great choice of cocktails to pick from. The staff were lovely and we didn't feel at all rushed. Restrooms feel like a bit of a trek as they are in the hotel area. It isn't an issue just a shock to the senses initally when you go from low lighting to bright hotel lobby lighting so you need to adjust quickly!

Great space for drinks but really really expensive! £9 for a small bottle of beer. £14 for a shot of whisky. I get that we are in Mayfair but that is extortionate pricing!

Knock hard at the locked door next to the hotel entrance! The door is locked but the place is probably open for business - but part of the concept I guess is that there is no revolving door here... Great at mixing and the residing mixologists have put together a journey through time via the menu which is quite novel.

Buscamos en línea un bar de cócteles cerca del restaurante Maze y encontramos este lugar. Nombre proyectado en la pared, puerta fácil de usar con una ventana corrediza, ¡tienes que tocar para entrar! Una vez en el lugar es tan bueno como un bar de cócteles podría ser un gran servicio y una increíble lista de cócteles. Sólo ve nos ha encantado.

An amazing cocktail bar. A bit pricy but given the area and the quality of the service and drinks I can't complain.

One of the best hidden bars in London, great atmosphere, all the staff make you very welcome and really know there stuff when it comes to cocktails.

We didn’t get off to a good start when we discovered that the reason nobody was answering the door was because the person who should have done so was having a cigarette. We later got a phone call from our friend asking us to let her in as again nobody was answering the door! Poor service continued inside (waited for ages to be offered a drink), very average ‘sharing plates’ and little to no atmosphere - it felt very much like an average hotel bar.

Fabulous cocktail bar with the most amazing cocktail selection! Great fun, you would never just stumble across it - you go to the side door and knock, a panel slides open to see who it is, and then grants you entry, such fun!

This was the 3rd stop on a bar crawl after lunch at The Wolseley and I think it was the best bar. Under the Marriott with fabulous, traditional decor. Maybe Art Deco (I'm never sure) with great nooks and discreet tables.

Una joya escondida! Mi esposa y yo visitamos para algunas bebidas aniversario y el personal era muy acogedor. Hay un extenso libro de cócteles, cronológico (uno de mis favoritos, el Brooklyn, era excepcional) pero los camareros están dispuestos a construir nada que no esté ya allí. Hay un bloque de hielo, que es grande para producir el hielo instalaron para bebidas - impresionante! Hay una sutil armonía en la sala de equipaje y se lo hemos recomendado a todos nuestros amigos cocktailian. Vale la pena al menos un par de visitas. ¡Bien hecho!

A wonderful find;worth going to. A great cocktail list with some unusual cocktails . Brilliant staff ;very helpful. Worth trying whatever the special is of the night. Good music too. Very entertaining having to access the bar through the big door!

Had a cheeky cocktail before dining at Maze. This is definitely somewhere you will never forget having a cocktail at.

Discreet bar tucked away in the bowels of the Marriott. 1920's theme, centered around a substantial wooden bar, dimly lit and beautifully decorated in the style of the period. We only stopped for one drink due to other commitments but the cocktails we chose were very pleasant. Certainly go back for a second and maybe a third another time.

We randomly stopped in for a cocktail after dinner and enjoyed it. (I'd advise booking ahead, as we got lucky to get a table). Fun place with cool interior and ok cocktails. (Slightly expensive cocktails.)

The host lady went to check for a table and left us outside in front of a locked door. We left the place after 20 min of waiting in the cold without any answer.

Came here on a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and the cocktails were nice and different. It wasn't cheap but that was to be expected in Grosvenor Square.
