Food arrived piping hot. absolutely DELICIOUS!! Best Chinese I’ve tried in Dunstable. The service was good as they accommodated our requests. Will definitely be my regular Chinese moving forward. King prawn chow mein 10/10 Sesame prawn toast 10/10 Salt and pepper chips with curry sauce 10/10 Egg fried rice & kung Pao Prawns 9/10 Also the portions are very generous and fast delivery

This is the first time I have ordered from this takeaway and it was perfect. The service was excellent, phone call was answered instantly, delivery was prompt, only 35 mins on a Friday evening at 6.30pm. The portions were very generous with lots of meat. Food was still hot when it arrived. Polite and pleasant delivery driver. Could not fault anything....exept carrots in every dish....I don't like carrots. I would highly recomend this takeaway.

Ordered vegetable Thai red curry and it was disgusting truly inedible, tasted like sweet and sour sauce made into a curry gone wrong. On top of the the plain boiled rice was bad too

Best Chinese Around by far. Seriously, if it's open and you want Chinese food delivered or to pick up these guys are legends. Picking up advised if you don't want to wait as they're super busy. Remember.. You can't go Wrong with Tong Wong.

Our order took a really long time to arrive, and when it did I was horrified to discover that the King Prawn curry i’d ordered was actually chicken, and the shimp chow mein had been substituted for pork. Unfortunately I discovered this after beginning to eat it, which was really upsetting for me as a life long pescatarian who has never eaten meat. When we called up to query it, we were told that we needed to return all food to get a refund, which was tricky as the only way I knew that my food was not what I had ordered was by pouring it out onto my plate. I thought this request was pretty low given the circumstances In the end I received a partial refund for the curry that I could not eat but there was no extra consideration for the fact that I was just left with rice and prawn balls as my entire meal, i ended up having to make myself something at home. Defeats the purpose of getting a takeaway doesn’t it? Would never use again and would not recommend for those with dietary requirements. It was lucky that this is just a preference for me but regardless it is simply not good enough to get so many things wrong especially when allergies, religious practices etc exist.

I only had a small meal for myself. But it was the best hot and sour soup I have had for years.

This has been our regular chinese takeaway for so many years we have tried others but we definitely prefer this one as the food is always cooked to our requirements.

Hands down best chinese in Luton, never wait more than an hour, food comes hot and good portion sizes. Tastes banging this is the only place I use and it's been one of our weekly treats for 5years now. Banging, tasty, crispy, consistently sastified. Also good the next day.

Had a delivery to my hotel as the reviews were good - they were not wrong👍 bbq ribs were deliciously cooked and the meat fell off the bone it was that succulent - chicken fried rice was plentiful and tasty with a lovely curry sauce - cannot fault it and the price with delivery was excellent, thank you TW great food

Best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten.

This takeaway is a little old fashioned and isn't what you would expect from a really authentic Chinese in China Town or MII and U in Milton Keynes but its really the best in the area between Redbourn, Dunstable, Luton Etc. The food had generous amounts of ingredients like Beef and Prawns and is very good value. Paya in Harpenden is a similar standard of food but 30% more expensive. We have ordered maybe 15 times from these guys and no issues with service or orders being incorrect. I would recommend it.

3rd time we have ordered from here, don’t normally write reviews but had to as it was so tasty. The calamari in black bean sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Everything tastes so fresh and tasty and not greasy like some Chinese take always. Would highly recommend

Needing dinner on a Sunday evening our hotel recommended Tong Wong. We were most pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of their food with the only minus being their overuse of chilli in some portions

I placed an order for my family ordered the exact same as I would usually order for my family and it was disgusting inedible the complete meal had to be thrown away I ordered 2xsweet and sour chicken balls mushroom curry chicken fried rice and chips- either the sauce or the chicken fried rice was off I telephoned to speak to the manager and advise the food I had received was off and I don't think he understood what I was saying as he said same food same chef I said it wasn't the same quality food I had received on previous orders the chicken balls were soft and gooey where usually they are crisp! I won't be ordering from there again!

Great selection menu. Delicious food, generous portions and not greasy at all. Couldn't fault it. The chicken balls were the largest and tastiest we've had. We also had sweet and sour chicken (HK) style, roast duck with ginger and spring onion, chicken noodles and chips with curry sauce. This was our first takeaway from Tong Wong and we'll definitely be back.

We have had a few takeaways for various in Dunstable and this is the best! Had a Came in 30 mins and was piping hot. Duck was a cracking piece and good quality and a nice thick tasty hoisin sauce. Asked for an extra spicy dish and normally it is not spicy in others but this was very spicy and spot on! Would recommend prawn Szechuan and sweet and sour chicken balls as they are huge.

There are many to choose from , and over the last 30+years I have tried them all but always come back to the best . We always order the same dishes and are never disappointed . Always ask for duck to be shredded and extra pancakes as there is always loads . Beef in black peppercorns is my favourite while the wife enjoys prawns in ginger and spring onion . My only gripe which is always the same is they are always so busy and delivery can take time so best to collect if you can if not sometimes wait can be long but worth the wait

Have had a beef curry from here a few times and each time it’s been brilliant. In other Chinese takeaways when I ask them to spice it up they say they will but never do. Tong Wong’s always spice it up as requested.

We allways have take away from there always delivered on time nice and hot and not expensive. The food is a very good choice and plenty of it if you are having a party

Came here on the 22nd of June with friends for her birthday meal. Door opened for us on arrival and shown to table. Service was fantastic, never empty glasses. Food was equally good. All served hot and in good time. Highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff including the kitchen staff for our lovely food and service. I will be returning ☺
