Special thanks to Chef Kazuyo for making us feel at ‘home’ and for presenting amazing sushi 🥰 our favourites were definitely tuna tartare, wagyu steak, and the hand rolled fatty tuna. *chef’s kiss* Great food. Nice vibe. Perfect for date night!

As a gift I was given a voucher to learn how to make sushi at the restaurant. I’ve wanted to make sushi rolls for years and today I learnt lots of hints and tips and had hands on experience guided by sushi chef ‘Jhun’ So pleased with the results.

3rd time to visit Tokii and Kaz at the sushi bar is making great sushi. I will visit again soon and looking forward to it :-)

We went for the sushi masterclass which was hosted by Jhun. It was a fantastic experience. He was very knowledgable telling us a lot of detail about the ingredients, process and tips for making sushi at home in the future.

Did a Sushi masterclass with Toni, was an incredible experience, made some of the most delicious sushi I've ever eaten. All thanks to the high class ingredients and training they provided. Toni was so nice and easy to get along with, knowledgeable and funny. Highky recommend.

My sister and brother in law gifted my husband and I a sushi masterclass experience and it was INCREDIBLE. Going into this masterclass with Kazuyo (the sushi master chef) made it so much easier as she was incredibly informative, methodical and really good at making demonstrations on how to stick the landing with every sushi type. If my husband and I attempted to roll sushi for the first time without her expertise, we would've likely struggled. Kazuyo gave us a masterclass where we felt quite proud with ourselves by the end of the journey! It just so happened that my husband and I were also expecting to go to Japan in the following week. Kazuyo recommended the most popular sushi businesses in Tokyo as well as a well known sake distillery in her home town. It was such a great, genuine experience to share with my husband and we're so fortunate to have come across a great sushi chef expert!

I would like to say a big thank you to Jhun for teaching my wife and I have to make authentic Sushi. Had a great time learning how to make Sushi and it also tested great. Would recommend this class to anyone who likes Sushi

We went for sushi master class with sushi chef Jhun It was amazing and great family fun. We can only recommend as a family activity.

We were given the omakase (surprise) menu as a gift treat. Eleven exquisite courses, delivered by a friendly and engaging sushi chef, Jhun, who meticulously created most of the dishes in front of us and was devoted to us for the whole time. As the restaurant is closed in the aftrnoon, when they serve the omakase menu, and there was only one other couple being served (by another chef) the experience is exclusive and privileged. The restaurant itself is calm, stylish and cool within the Prince Akatoki hotel. If you like Japanese food, I would highly recommend this.

I’ve always loved sushi but never been very good at making it. Shun was an amazing teacher and now myself and my boyfriend know how to make really good sushi at home. We had a brilliant time at Tokii to celebrate my 30th birthday and our chef Toni made it even better. His knowledge and sushi skills were outstanding and we had a great time learning about all the varieties of fish that was served. My favourite dish was the wagyu beef which I believe was the nicest beef that I’ve ever tried in my life so far. Chef Toni presented his homemade specialty soy sauce which was out of this world. I’m looking forward to booking again soon and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about booking and reading these reviews to make that decision!

We arrived for our booking in the evening and we were given a warm welcome. We sat down by the sushi counter where we met the sushi chef, Jhun. I signed up to the sushi masterclass and it did not disappoint! I never made sushi before but thanks to Kazuyo's, our sushi chef, easy to follow demonstrations, I enjoyed every step of the class. At the end, we got to eat the sushi we made ( which was a lot) with complimentary miso soup and sparkling sake, the best way to complete an amazing experience!

Our chef Toni was absolutely amazing! We did the tasting menu experience and he went above and beyond to ensure we understood what each dish was and made sure everything was made to perfection. We arrived early for lunch during a miserable day in London. Our mood soon improved with the excellent but unobtrusive service and the very comfortable table we were guided to.
