The Best Asian food I have been to in Glasgow.

When looking for chinese take aways, I always go for Tofu. Been going here since about 2020 and never disappoints. Not sat in yet but one day we’ll stay for a feast!

Absolutely unacceptable service! I placed an order and kept receiving messages saying, 'Your order time has been slightly changed.' After two long hours of waiting, they finally called—only to suggest that I cancel my order. Instead of delivering my food, they wasted my time and left me hungry. This kind of service is completely unreliable, and I strongly recommend avoiding them to spare yourself the frustration of such a terrible experience!

I visit at least once a week for takeaway, consistently good food and service.

The delivery was quick, but unfortunately, that was the only positive. The food arrived cold and lacked any real flavor. The beef chow mein was especially disappointing—it barely contained any beef and was more like an onion chow mein. I’d rather wait a little longer for food that’s properly cooked and seasoned. Won’t be ordering again.

There was no beef in my pad Thai!!!

My food NEVER arrived! I have been waiting for 2 hours and 46 minutes currently. I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND!!!

usually have great orders from here but today was terrible. ordered some chips, was clearly all the left over chips from the day perhaps the last night refried. had left over bits of food on them, strange white colour. whole lot went in the bin. wont be back.

The Honey Chilli Chicken and the salt and chilli chips are amazing - chicken curry is a little oily and a very small portion of prawn crackers - overall it was great!

I have ordered from this place a couple times before and I did have issues with the food in terms of nausea after. This time, however, I’ve been sick for days with what could be giardiasis and I assume it came from this takeaway. I was fine on the day I ordered the takeaway, I didn’t eat anything else but the soup and rice I got. Slowly, I got sicker over the next day and now I’ve been having a lot of issues for 4 days. I really wouldn’t recommend this place anymore. The soup isn’t worth it and this food poisoning has been awful. I was hoping it would clear up soon but if it doesn’t I might have to go on antibiotics. I just want to stress the seriousness of this food poisoning. I used to really like this place as they were one of the only restaurants around that did decent Tom Yum. Ordered recently and that has changed a lot unfortunately. It’s not really true to flavours, the kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass stalks and chillies have been taken out and replaced with random veg. It still tastes alright but I didn’t really like it.

Food was average but the worst part was the female waiter was quite rude and criticised my Cantonese because I wasn’t fluent.

if i could no stars, i would. The takeaway is 100% not at blame as the food was ready asap. on the other hand, the delivery took 2 hours! when i tried to cancel the order after 45mins and order from somewhere else, i got told i would not be able to cancel as i would not get a refund, therefore i had no other option but to starve for the following hour with no sense of how long the food would take to arrive as the delivery time just kept getting longer and longer. GIVE ME A REFUND! ABYSMAL!

Just got the delivery almost £60 , the portion of prawn crackers had about 6 in them , the chicken curry there was hardly any chicken , very poor service with poor quality . Was recommended this place but last time I use . The expense for the quality and quantity was very poor

I went here with my friend yesterday. The salt and chilli tofu was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. Can highly recommend!

Delivery took exactly 3 hours (during the day) satay sauce is really nice but chowmain was cold and pretty basic. Foods ok but not great so probably wont order again

Food wasn't delivered so one star doesn't reflect the restaurant this is about JUST EAT - never had a problem before we order regularly. Don't know what happened, need a full refund.

salt and chilli chicken was one of the best I have had would order again just for that. Soup I had was good and duck was ok nothing special but no complaints

Spicy but very, very tasty! We seen this on tik tok and tried it for ourselves and have been 4 or 5 times since. Salt & chilli chicken and salt & chilli chips are first class and the satay sauce is probably the best we’ve sampled from any Chinese.

Vegans and vegetarians should avoid this restaurant. The vegan Pad Thai came with chicken in it which is disgusting and completely unacceptable. Looking at previous reviews meat in vegan/vegetarian meals is a recurring problem. I would seriously question the restaurant's food hygiene practices. Could not eat any of the meal. Stay clear.

We made a delivery that never came. We’ve tried to contact the restaurant who had no answers and also Just eat customer service where our calls were ended. It’s ridiculous over a £35 order to just disappear and no refund.

First of all the wrong order came which was the fault of the delivery driver however they also took forever to make the dish

For a place called tofu, 2 pieces of tofu in a tofu chow mein isn’t good. Don’t recommend ordering from here.

Dinner was a disgusting, poor quality, unseasoned mess. Standards have dropped significantly since the last time. Are the chefs blind? Surely they can see the state of the food they are making. They should be embarrassed. Avoid and go elsewhere

i usually love this place but was so disappointed when i recieved my dish of satay tofu with absolutely no sauce on it - no satay. it feels like a waste of money, unfortunately.

We had a great family meal here. Very accommodating at making smaller portions for the kids. Very busy with take away orders but still very polite to customers dining in. Very delicious food!

It's a shame that a restaurant called Tofu does not prepare tofu in the best way. It should be hard and crunchy on the outside, not rubber like.

front of house staff are very pleasant but the kitchen is serving up some of the most bland Chinese food you'll find anywhere. their salt and chilli and Sichuan dishes are so badly under seasoned they often taste of mild nothing. salt and chill squid is a soggy mess soaked in oil with so little seasoning it just tastes of oil and batter. very poor.

It said my order was delivered, but the hotel desk didn't have it.

Food made me break out in hives after 5 minutes. Tasted bland was cold and disappointing no flavour at all from what I could eat before reaction

We’ve ordered from here a few times; the food is always amazing. The lemon chicken, the ribs and the crispy duck pancakes are very tasty!! Chicken noodle & chicken/sweetcorn soup also very good. Would recommend.

Great quality. beef massaman curry delicious. meat very tender.

Sadly they didn’t include one of our dishes (gyozas) which is always off putting for returning. Shame as we really like the food and the rest was good but it’s highly irritating when you’re hungry and looking forward to it.

Late lunch and restaurant empty. Friendly service and free prawn crackers are always a bonus! Food arrived really quickly, enough for me to be suspicious as to how fresh it was. I did hear a microwave ping. Dim sum was rubbery so probably frozen and heated in microwave. Prawn udon noodles were delicious and prawns cooked perfectly but really surprised how quick they arrived after ordering. Generous serving size for udon noodles. Attentive staff but I probably won't rush to come back sorry

Best salt and chilli chicken in my puff. Every bite is like a little hug from your grandma. It's so wonderful and flavoursome. Tons of chicken and right amount of veggies.

I recalled ordering from here a few years back and we all had excellent food. Back then the salt and chilli chips got me hooked on them, the flavours were great across all meals we ordered. Fast forward to today .... The magic is gone, the food is just like any other Chinese restaurant, the salt and chilli chips were soggy and I missed the flavours they had. Likewise with the chicken chow mein, chicken curry and spring rolls. The rice portion was also way too small. Certainly disappointed compared to what they used to be like. This was a delivery so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere of course.

Delicious, nourishing food. We had dumpling soup and prawn dim sum. Ideal on a cold wet sunday afternoon. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Cancelled UberEats order 1hr 20mins after receiving it

We ordered online. The food here is so good, I want to go on and eat at the restaurant now. Duck was perfect, Thai dishes are very good. And the Nasi Goreng was very good, reminded me of Bali. I would def recommend

Have ordered a few times from here - love the range of the menu and the food is consistently good. However I’m leaving this review because we had a really bad experience with a Deliveroo rider and the restaurant was super helpful over the phone, twice offering customer support options and the second time phoning Deliveroo themselves (who were unhelpful to us) to arrange a refund. We placed the same order by Uber and it arrived in a flash and was delicious. Really appreciate the restaurant’s support and kind service even on a takeaway order when the issue had nothing to do with them! Thank you.

A wee hidden gem, food was delicious and the staff were legends

The tofu vegetable chow mien bland tasteless not even vegetables were seasoned. The tofu was like tasteless sponge. The vegetable gyoza were passable, hence the one star. Absolutely not worth the price, do not recommend.

Food is edible, but thats about it. Service is standard, the staff seem nice. Atmosphere isn't great, bare bones tables and decorations. I would not recommend it. Bibimbap is vastly better and the prices are similar.

The food was okay but there are much better Chinese/Asian food options nearby such as Bibimbap, Non Viet Ba, and Suissi.

Food was excellent haven't had Asian food in a long time due to my allergies but they were accomadating and I'm grateful for that.

We shared a wonderful meal here tonight. Chan could not have been more helpful to our group of both vegetarian and meat eaters. All the food was fabulous and we were so welcomed despite being a late table. Thank you so much, we will be back soon!

I appreciated the amount of meat given. But it’s really too salty! Same for the soup. Maybe I’m not ordering the right dishes🥲 I ordered beef brisket. Also, the steamed rice doesn’t taste good, the texture is hard, not soft.

I would have gave less stars but there soup always good so had to be generous But honey chilli chicken was extremely bland neither did I taste honey or chilli and to pay £9.50 is rip off really when your not getting rice or chips with it so you expect high expectations Think these crazy prices are going on the area you order from anyway it is worth paying if your actually getting what you pay for on this occasion trying the honey chilli chicken it wasn't worth the money Peggy's is better on maryhill road for main dishes and about £8 pound and you get rice or chips with it just I ordered from here as soup was nice so I was expecting same expectations from main but that failed dramatically. Don't charge for the area you are in charge for the quality of food which is at most for £6 pound including rice wouldn't pay anymore. People try Peggy's maryhill road you have to phone order as not on just eat or anything And you will be pleasantly surprised her main dishes are out of this world .

A fork full of beef -beef bibimbap for £9.50! There has been a steady decline in portion size and food quality, but tonight was the finally straw. If I wanted to pay ten pounds for 90% boiled rice I would expected it to be blessed by a priest and covered in gold leaf! As loyal customers, we are no more!

We went in tonight for a sit down meal. Staff very friendly. Food was piping hot. The best curry I have every had!!! We will be back

Ordering in, my meal was VERY quickly delivered. I had the volcano tofu and it was wonderfully flavorful. Definitely suggest if you're looking for this type of food!

Booked sons 18th brithday meal, food was amazing, too big a portion if honest, chicken was tender and so lovely, noodles were fab, everything was lovely and they went above and beyond to do the cake for my son, would defo recommend and will hopefully be back soon was lovely food and service x

I had meal here on Friday night and all i can say is WOW!. Firstly the staff were absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in the door, the beer selection was also on point. I ordered the Japanese katsu curry and I have never tasted anything like it before, it was perfect. I will definitely be back to this lovely establishment, thank you for a memorable meal.

Really delighted we came here tonight! Was walking past and the menu looked great so decided to give it a try - and couldn't have made a better decision!! The food was absolutely delicious, portions great, price very reasonable (£20 per person for two courses including tip) - huge vegetarian selection as well! Gave me a free carry out box as well. The service was the best thing though, everyone seemed really nice and the service was so attentive. My friend was drinking quite a lot of water, and they noticed this, and brought him a bigger glass on his refill! Haven't received this level of service anywhere else, and it's really appreciated. The playlist was banging too!!
