Went for dinner for 2 at around 5.30pm on a Saturday, lively atmosphere and mixed age range with very freindly staff serving us quickly and in a polite manner. I ordered the taste of Mexico with the Chicken and beef option. It was well presented, great value for money and the chicken was delicious! Would highly recommend.

We came to the Glasgow restaurant for the first time and tried the bottomless tapas. Our server was Bert and he was absolutely amazing. A total credit to the restaurant. Everyone else we came across was great but Bert went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! Will definitely be back!

Lovely bottomless tapas lunch. All the tapas we had were piping hot and delicious. The portion size was great and all the food was super tasty! Have already recommended it to family and friends!! Our hostess couldn't do enough for us and was extra cheery too. The music was great and the restaurant had a really nice chill atmosphere.

Went here today at 1pm many tables available me my wife and daughter really wanted to try thr food but was rejected as we never had a booking and was told limited food till tomorrow and not enough food for tapas thoo i wasn't having tapas. 1st time going to a place and being rejected for not having a booking bizzare.

We got a deal for £15 unlimited tapas per person, but usually this is £25 per person. We thought portion sizes may have been reduced due to the discount but the portions were great. Everything tasted so fresh and the staff were super nice too, particularly our main server who was very slim, quite young with cropped red hair. Probably the best quality tapas I’ve ever had, great selection of choices, fast service. 10/10 - will definitely be back! Didn’t get a photo of nachos starter, had to dash off due to the time before getting our churros finisher.

The server - young girl with long dark hair, I think her name was Celia or Cecelia - she was super lovely and attentive. Very friendly and helpful when ordering and always took our order promptly. We were there for bottomless tapas and she always made sure we had everything we needed. She is a credit to your company!! Btw the bottomless tapas were also 10/10!

I was pretty disappointed with the experience. The food was pretty poor for the price. We ordered a mixture of tapas and the Brazilian Chicken main. Nothing appeared fresh. The breaded dishes were no different than frozen food you could buy from Farmfoods. Staff were pleasant enough. Definitely won't be going back due to the quality of the food. Better value for money at a Wetherspoons.

Friendly staff and tasty food! The taco sharing board is really good and has plenty of meat. I do wish they gave you more condiments for it, I like to use a lot of guac! 😄 Also, don’t skip on the nachos!

I had a really bad time here. The tall guy serving us was terrible. We got the bottomless tapas, but he stopped us after only two rounds. Each dish took forever – over 30 minutes! He never said when they'd stop taking orders, he just suddenly cut us off. And he wouldn't let us order as much as we wanted, even though your rules say we can get three dishes each. The worst part was hearing him complain to some white customers about how slow other Asian customers were at looking at the menu. That's definitely discrimination. We left hungry and annoyed. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. They don't respect their customers, and the discrimination is unacceptable.

Staff friendly Restaurant was cold and staff were all wearing jumpers, so they were clearly cold, Looks quite unprofessional and not very inviting to customers sitting in a cold restaurant Food standards and quality have dropped massively

I genuinely had the best dining experience ever. My server Caitlin (sorry if it’s spelt differently) was fantastic, and helpfully she is given the recognition she deserves. I will return to this restaurant and will highly recommend to friends and family. Caitlin’s customer service skills are impeccable and should be appreciated by the company. If you love Mexican food and very indecisive like me, I recommend the bottomless tapas. I think this might only be available throughout Jan 2025.

I walked in here randomly and I was starving. The host was so kind, I explained my food restrictions and instead of just saying « sorry, can’t help you » she said, « why don’t we find you a seat and the chef can make you whatever you like », so I did. I asked for a salad no dressing and few toppings - they made me a delicious salad and didn’t even bat an eye. I was so grateful.

The best Mexican food we’ve had in ages! Everything tasted the way it should; we really enjoyed our meals and drinks. The spicy margarita is actually spicy! The service was friendly and quick and the vibe inside was really nice with lovely lighting and comfortable chairs.

A large crowd of us were there for a company Christmas party. The staff, Monika in particular, were very friendly and attentive. Food and drink were also great. Very pleasant experience overall.

We were lucky to secure a walk in table, I'd advise booking in advance! Staff were absolutely wonderful, brilliant communication and really looked after us. Thanks to the team. Would recommend the sharing Jambalaya (for 2) if you're both extremely hungry. This could feed 3!

We were a walk in on a busy Thursday afternoon (5pm-6:30pm). We were very lucky to walk in and the staff were wonderful and communicated with us well. We were well looked after and had a wonderful time. Thank you to the wonderful positive staff that make this place great. Would recommend the sharing Jambalaya!

Friendly employees and tasty food

This was an experience for all the wrong reasons. The music was so loud I thought we had gone into a night club zzz The noise overall was crazy the other customers shouting and screaming was definitely something different. The food was disappointing. The fajitas had lumps of gritty seasoning throughout this was comfirmed by the waiter. The waiter was less than friendly and very dismissive and abrupt. Definitely not on our list of places to go back to......

Had our works Xmas do here Dec24. Great value and great food. The atmosphere was fantastic - tables were spread out enough that it wasn't noisy and so we could do silly Xmas games at our table. And Bart (the waiter) was amazing. The second anyone sat down he came with their drinks and always asked us if we were ready for him to bring out the next course of food. He was the most efficient and friendly waiter I've ever come across.

We could not get a table anywhere and the staff squeezed us in, it was only for 1 hr and 15 mins as the table was already booked, everything came really quick though and was delicious, we were so grateful and will definitely be back, thank you it was our first night without kids in a while and really enjoyed ourself.

Had a meal with drinks here with my brother on Monday evening, it was our first time in a Las Iguanas restaurant ☺️ We were looked after by the lovely Magda, who is a gem of a human 👑 The drinks were exactly what we needed (several festive old fashioneds and classic margaritas) and the food (guacamole with tortilla chips, fish tacos and enchiladas) was delicious and v fresh 😋 We also loved the cactus-Christmas tree hybrid!!! 🌵✨🎄 Thank you again Magda for looking after us so well ❤️

While visiting the city this was the first place we tried after the long flight there. Our server was a great guy who was patient while we chatted the entire afternoon away. Great food, great drinks, and dessert was awesome. Glad we tried this place out first.

We chose to take the tapas menu. For 25 pounds you can order all the tapas on the menu for 90 minutes, starting with nachos and ending with churros. The tapas were super tasty and freshly made in the open kitchen. Some were very spicy! So pay attention. The staff themselves were very friendly and when they brought food they immediately asked if we wanted to order something new. After about 60 minutes we were already satisfied. So it's definitely not a rip off! On the contrary, highly recommended. The place is nicely decorated. For me personally, the rooms could be a bit smaller so that it would feel a bit more cozy. Thank you in advance for this beautiful culinary evening.

Food was cold and not up to standard … was deeply disappointed as I had to send a Mexican toastie back to chef asking for more cheese …there’s was a sprinkle of cheese compared to my friends dish. Come on all dishes should be served with the same quantity of ingredients. Something so simple . My other friend had a burrito and she said it was ok. However on a positive note they do excellent cocktails…no complaints there. Service & Staff were lovely … Come on chefs step up to make this my go to place as the settings of the restaurant are perfect..thank you !

Yummy lunch here. I had crispy calamares which were delicious, they just melted in my mouth. My partner had the beef chilli which he enjoyed and we shared some grande nachos and also some churros. Perfect lunch before going for drinks. Lovely decor and Bart our waiter was so friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Stopped by yesterday and had the mixed fajita—so good! Monika was my server, and she was awesome. Super friendly and on top of everything, even though the place was busy. We arrived at 7.40 tonight didn’t get a drink till 8.10 the restaurant wasn’t busy . We asked for a dessert menu at 9.15 left at 10 pm still never got a dessert menu ! Girl with blue hair is not good at service . We always come here but won’t be back £150 and service shocking for 4 people

Thoroughly enjoyed all the food, I ordered the Chicken Fajita Stack, Nachos and the Churros for dessert. All food was delicious and well portioned. Special mention goes to our server Caitlin, she was super friendly, chatty and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and was always available!! This was a late booking online, which was accommodated, no problem. Date night with my better half. Off to see a film which will win big at the Oscar’s. But, I digress. Las Iguanas wasn’t overly busy when we arrived, and throughout our time in the restaurant. For that fact, the service, which could have been better, was disappointing and not what we would have expected. When you’re having to attend a cinema event, prompt service is key. The food, on the other hand, did not disappoint. I had a Chicken Quesadilla to start. A yummy tortilla with smoky chipotle chicken & cheese, pan-toasted & served with aji salsa. And for my main, (pictured) I had Chicken Churrasco Skewers which consisted of two grilled chicken skewers with honey peri-peri sauce, Mexican rice, corn on the cob & roasted baby tomatoes. No room or time for dessert. Service causing that option to be unlikely to be chosen. All in all, a satisfying experience. Just sort your waiting staff out and you’ll get more stars.

This was the first time I'd been to a Mexican restaurant. While I wasn't disappointed. I wasn't blown away, either. The food was good. My main issues were the small portions and high prices. For what we paid, I would have expected much better food with bigger portions. They also add on a service charge which, in general, I really don't like. I wouldn't be rushing back.

Booked to go here today for a belated birthday lunch with my sister. 1st time visiting here and was greeted by Greg, who showed us to our table. Was friendly and attentive, nice wee bit of banter between our drinks coming and our food. We chose to have the chicken enchilada, food was lovely, fresh, very filling. Lovely service from Greg and would recommend to others for something a bit different.
