Place is lovely so was the drinks but the food and wait time was awful a full breakfast took 30 mins the place wasn't busy and the breakfast looked like toddler made it presentation was bad would not recommend

We had a fantastic meal here! The food was delicious and the waiter was incredibly friendly and personable. One of us can't tolerate soy, and the waiter specifically asked if the food was okay - we really appreciated that! The service was top and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. We can definitely recommend it – we would love to come back!

The atmosphere and the ambience of the place is quite lively. Tuva took good care of us and suggested the ideal portions for the three of us. The food and the service was exemplary. Will recommend this place for anybody looking for delectable small plates spanning across cuisines.

Exceptional service from Calum and food was outstanding

We hoped to get lunch while our child napped in her pram. We were seated quickly, but it took about 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. We decided to just order soup thinking it would come quickly and we could eat before our child woke. Another 20 minutes passed and we hadn't had any food. Can't comment on the taste of the food as after 40minutes we just asked to cancel our order and leave. I have worked in this industry and I wouldn't have said the cafe was so busy that you'd expect a 40 minute wait for 2 bowls of soup. Ashame as the place did look nice. Got a takeaway from Greggs across the road instead.

Glorious menu! Amazing for family- loads of amazing cute dogs (the place is perfect for dogs- lots of lovely staff handing out treats!) Super quick service and the most laid back chilled atmosphere. A true west end staple.

Incredible food, we had the whipped feta, steak and gorgeous New Zealand wine. The service was fantastic, lovely smiley, chatty staff. Will definitely be back for date night.

I loved this place. It’s the staff that would make me go back - so smiley and chatty and friendly but not in your face. Wonderful coffee too - and I drink a lot of coffee. The food came quickly and I just loved being able to sit and chat to my pal without staff coming up all the time. I would highly recommend this restaurant and want to say well done to the staff for making it feel so nice to be there.

Enjoyed a really tasty meal. Phoned at short notice expecting not to get in but the lovely staff found us a table. Loved the whipped feta and the aubergine curry. The dog enjoyed her treat too!

A delightful detour in Kelvin bridge led us to the Left Bank, seduced by the ambient light, and beautiful seating, we were fortunate to find a seat on a Saturday night. The small plates were great value and well presented. They tasted great. The vegetarian options were my favourites, whipped feta, spicy lentils, a green humus all exceptionally light, and Korean cauliflower just yum. I also chose a chilli and pineapple margarita - which beggars the question, why is this place not jammed and queues at the door. My eating partner had their eye on the cute ice cream shot floats, I had my eye on the hot strawb cocktail...mid week deals make this place very reasonable too. Bravo.

Italian sausage ragu with baked eggs.....delicious

Hemos estado viniendo a este local relajado por años. Por lo general para el almuerzo, pero a menudo para la cena también. Estábamos justo antes de Navidad para nuestra cena "prenavideña". Siempre estamos bien cuidados y la comida / bebida es de primera categoría, sin embargo, quería dar un saludo para esta cena en particular. Tuve la cena de pavo que fue un giro interesante en lo tradicional con algunos sabores increíbles. Los cócteles y tienen una gran selección de vinos y cervezas. Mi otra mitad tenía el pescado que él dijo que era excepcional también. Mientras estoy aquí, gritaré por los huevos mexicanos en el menú del almuerzo. ¡Es realmente bueno!

A pesar del personal encantador el plato fuerte, tenía por dos de nosotros era hamburguesas de pollo que estaban secas y de mal gusto. Este fue el regalo de cumpleaños de mi hija, lo que significa que no tenía ganas de crear un mal ambiente quejándome por segunda vez. Nuestros chips estaban fríos. Envié un correo a la Margen Izquierda. Me ofrecieron un trago de nuestra elección si íbamos. Pensé que era una mala compensación.

What a delight to find Left Bank on our travels through the UK. The food was so good-the best we’ve had so far. There was obviously a lot of thought and care gone into the menu. A favourite was the whipped feta and walnuts with crudite and the beef rendang. The spiced rum was delicious too. The manager was helpful, friendly and had control over a busy lunch time.

Been to left bank several times before, and always enjoyed the food. However, I was very disappointed by my recent visit. When we were sat we didn’t receive menus for 5 minutes. After ordering drinks, they took over 10 minutes to arrive, and it was a simple order of 2 orange juices, tea and coffee. From sitting down to receiving food it took 50 minutes. The beans on the breakfast came out cold, the toast was barely toasted and the butter was unspreadable as it was so hard and the toast was cold. The table next to us didn’t get a check back until they were 90% done with their food and their table wasn’t cleared for a while after they left. There was no waiter in our section so left with empty plates for a long time after we had finished eating. After we asked for the bill it took ages to arrive and also waited so long for the card reader that we eventually went down to the front to pay ourselves. Our waiters were lovely, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and music. The eggs were cooked well, and the shakshuka and french toast was good. I’m not sure if it was understaffed but the service was incredibly slow, and for the price of the food I expect better.

The vegan options are excellent and it’s all well priced. The Christmas cocktails 🍸 were a highlight. Fantastic venue, only feedback would be that it be nice to have a more of an atmosphere at night.

Went in for some brunch with my cousin visiting from America. She got some eggs and salmon and and I ordered the Mexican eggs, £10 + £3 to add chorizo. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the chillies added a decent kick. The tortilla was huge - I love a wrap me - wee DIY breakfast burrito. That said, I didn’t feel like the £3 for chorizo was quite worth it. While it tasted great, you didn’t get a lot and didn’t add as much to the dish as I’d hoped.

I’ve been here twice now and I love this place! The brunch is great and the staff is even more excellent. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the West End!

Oh sooo good! I come back here for breakfast every couple of weeks. I always get the same thing because it's that good (the vegan lebanese breakfast), genuinely the most delicious and flavorful breakfast around. The staff is consistently warm and welcoming. I am eager to come here for dinner as their cocktails sound very yummy. I highly recommend coming here!

Muy amable, bienvenida sonriente, va un helluva largo camino. El brekky libanés estaba bien emplatado, sabroso y fresco, aunque la salsa que lo acompañaba podía beneficiarse de ser ligeramente más espesa. Lo disfruté, sin embargo. Ofrecimiento de café no es de mi gusto, así que el té gris Earl ganó el día. Brodies perfectamente bien. Servicio, eficiente y amable. El espacio en sí, muy bonito. Amplio y cómodo y si quieres algo un poco más íntimo, hay otras pequeñas áreas fuera del 'escenario' principal. En general, una experiencia espléndida. Fácil de recomendar. . .

Undercooked eggs that the chef tried to say were cooked even though there was quite a bit of clear runny egg. I never send food back and had to send back twice! Ended up having to change to another meal. Servers were nice and a cute place. Burger I got instead was okay. *update with reply from business, I think it’s very worrying that they are still trying to claim the eggs were cooked. I love poached eggs and always have them runny- this wasn’t a bit of runny white it was a large amount of CLEAR runny egg. This happened twice. I think it’s dangerous and clearly the staff can’t tell if something is cooked or not so have dropped my review to 1 star.

Great place to spend a few hours for either delicious food or drinks. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive to us and our wee dog, when we bring him.

Probably the best food we've had in Glasgow. Both, breakfast and dinner was amazingly tasty. We've had ordered from the vegan menu (which has a good variety of options) and we're very happy with our choices. Just as FYI: if you are fond of spicy food, I recommend the Nasi Goreng, it is delicious and has loads of Chili in it 🌶️😍 Thanks for toe great time and the good food, we'd definitely come again!

Totally different type of menu ,Asian mainly , not really my choice of food . Chose restaurant on style of menu advertised. So disappointed in that . Sticky toffee pudding had popcorn in sponge, melted and was hard ,was being sold with popcorn ice cream that was happily not available . If the advertised menu been available would have been a lovely birthday meal . Bit sad

Very friendly warm welcome for the three diners and two dogs. (One of which is very nervous and can be a barker) They catered for dairy and gluten free. We would highly recommend this independent restaurant.

If only there were 6 stars.. The service, the food... This place is it! Look no further. Our waiter/bartender was absolutely the best. And the food was terrific. We had the Indonesian dish veggie version and fried chicken starter. Yum yum...!

Food was beautifully presented and SO TASTY!!! . Big Table of 11 on a Saturday evening and the service was incredible, the team were so attentive interacting with everyone and were great with the child at our table and also the dog :) everyone at our table commented on how good the whole experience was. One of the best food, service and drinks in Glasgow! Nasi goreng, crispy squid, samjang chicken were amazing and honestly as good Asif you were in Indonesia! The drinks were fantastic like lobey dosser!!!! Not to mention the bloody Mary layered drink! Kisses

Lovely brunch times. I went with my girlfriend, who is coeliac, and was very pleased to be presented with a separate gluten free menu, with lots to choose from as well. Food was delicious, service was great - so friendly. Fully recommended!

Popped by as was dropping items off in the west end. Really happy to have multiple menu options - regular menu, plus gluten free and vegan options. Such a positive change to standard menu options. Super friendly and welcoming staff, really makes a difference to your the experience. It's not easy being gluten free and eating out, but here felt super safe (I'm coeliac). Food was super tasty, fresh and quick, portion size also very good. 10/10 experience all round. Shame to not have this option closer to my home. Would recommend if you want relaxed, friendly and excellent service and food.

One of my go to places when in the west end. Good cocktails, wine and food with fairly reasonable prices and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The tables are also really spaced out and it feels airy. I like it a lot here.

An even better nasi goreng than in Indonesia or Malaysia, and a super fine hummus. Nice ambiance and kind personnel. What more can we ask for ?

Lovely food. Can tell everything is of good quality & well made. The most perfect runny eggs too. Coffee was good! Service was great. Very kid friendly. Prices are on the higher end but you are in the West End so is to be expected! Really loved the smoked salmon eggs, would recommend these! They also accommodate for GF & VG which I think is great, the server asks you as you walk in if you require another menu. It’s nice to see places proactively asking.

A very pleasant dinner in Glasgow in this place, where we were welcomed in a splendid way with great kindness and friendliness. The menu is very varied and very attentive to every dietary requirement (gluten free, allergies, vegetarian and vegan). Excellent food!!!! Highly recommended

The breakfast and service in this cafe is UNREAL so good we went two mornings in a row. We had the Mexican eggs and the Indian breakfast honestly yummy. The coffee was great too x

We had a wonderful meal at The Left Bank. The menu has options for everyone and most importantly, our service was impeccable. The waiter knew we were visiting and went out of his way to recommend places to see and have dinner. I would recommend this place!

Met up with family for a Sunday brunch last week. Looks unassuming from the outside but once in it’s like an Escher painting with floors up and down and round the stairs - wonderfully eccentric but lovely. Great menu with a just about wide enough range of choices of what turned out to be beautiful food (and drinks) Service was responsive (even bearing in mind the place was rammed at 11-12 ish on a Sunday) and very friendly. Loved it.

This place never lets you down. Welcoming staff, wide selection of menus - and including vegetarian and separate vegan menus - and they accept dogs! This time I had the vegetarian Indian Poke Bowl. So delicious, freshest of ingredients and super filling. Happy ⭐️Happy ⭐️ Happy⭐️

Lovely wee afternoon in here today, was very busy we had to wait 15mins for a table, girl thanked us for coming back, I loved that nice touch 😀 nice vibe, Lovely staff, decor was quirky, good background music. The food was lovely, I marked it down as 4 as I felt there could have been more of the Mexican eggs to go with the tortilla which was average size, coffee was lovely and my friend enjoyed his dessert

Popped in by chance last Saturday evening for drinks. My wife and I were shown to a lovely table, provided with drinks menus and given superb table service. Dianne settled on Spiced Rum n Coke, I had soft drinks. Cocktail list was interesting, Dianne had the vanilla White Russian, she loved it. Waitresses kept the table clean and engaged in friendly chat. We will defo be back. Bravo 👏.

Went for breakfast today and we weren’t disappointed! The staff were welcoming and genuinely friendly. There was a good vibe in the restaurant/cafe. Great coffee too! A wee bit pricey however I would say that based on what we ate it was worth it and we can’t wait to come back again!

I’m still thinking about this place!! Great breakfast and lunch options here. The gochujang chicken sandwich was incredible (although as someone who loves sauce, I wish it had a little more sauce/gochujang on it). The crispy edges were the best part! But that’s not all, you get a side of their delectable rosemary fries and a side salad. I normally don’t go crazy for side salads, but I don’t know what they put in there to make me polish off every last bit. Plus, portion sizes were very generous. Seems to be a great place to grab drinks as well, as I watched cocktails being distributed to tables. Dog friendly!!

a huge fan of the left bank ! I have come in here several time for a drink and to study and the staff are all so kind and friendly. The food (especially the sweet potato fries) is amazing and the hot chocolates never disappoint. I would recommend the left bank to anyone. For a lovely meal or a relaxing study space ! Not been in here in years and was pleased we dropped in. Lebanese breakfast didn't disappoint. Had a couple of mocktails too, which were delish. Lovely staff and good service. Place was bustling but we were seated quickly and the soul tunes were perfect for a chill Saturday afternoon.

Suuuuper yummy food and drink, my friend had the veggie breakfast and really enjoyed it and i had the lebanese breakfast and thought it was wonderful. We both got the cucumber and elderflower spritzer - highly recommend (although make sure to stir it properly when it arrives as the flavoured syrup is a layer at the bottom for the aesthetic haha - i made the mistake of not realising this at first but my friend pointed it out and it was all good). Very average prices for the west end as well - for sure not the cheapest but that's sort of what you expect for the area, so not a huge problem for me personally. Lovely lovely service and atmosphere as well. I only docked one star as the food did take quite a while to arrive (about half an hour) which was fine for my friend and i as we were having a great chat, but if you are in a rush or are very very hungry then it's something to keep in mind. That being said, we went on a Saturday lunchtime which i reckon is their busiest time, so this may differ at other points during the week! All round, had a great time and will definitely go again.

The food was incredibly good with generous portions. And the friendly staff treated my nasty little sausage dog like royalty today. So impressed.

The gochujang crispy chicken burger was extremely tasty and probably the best chicken burger I have ever eaten. The fries that came with it were also perfect. If I'm in Glasgow again I'll definitely come back!

Must visit! incredible service. Enjoyed the most delicious Xmas dinner here. The staff were excellent and supporting big group bookings and the process of organising with them was super smooth. The food was divine! Roast was perfection, bean cassoulet was wow. Credits to the chef and to the wonderful staff. A special thanks especially to Callum who made the meal out extra special. I’ll be back and recommending the left bank to anyone looking for delicious food with excellent service in the west end

A huge thanks you to the brilliant staff at The Left Bank. We had a very last minute let down with another restaurant nearby for a 30th Birthday. With 15 mins notice the Left Bank catered beautifully for us. We had a private dinning area, wonderful food and immaculate service. Couldn’t thank them enough. The Vegan menu is brill! Thanks again.

We went for the dinner menu few nights back and couldn’t believe we hadn’t visited prior. Super tasty menu, large portion sizes on the mains, great house cocktails. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

The full breakfast was quite disappointing and the tacos main tasted nice but would have expected more than 50gr of chicken in a £15 main. Other reviews that include pictures show a very different dish so not sure if they just couldn’t be bothered today. Staff and service was great though.

We ate here last night to get away from the trick or treaters and I cannot believe we haven't been before! Everything was exceptional, from the food, the vegan options, the fact they were SO dog friendly they even brought a blanket over. The drinks/cocktails were also amazing. The decor and lighting is also fabulous 👌 I asked for recommendations on food and drinks and without hesitation was given awesome advice. I even ended up asking Chloe (who took our booking over the phone) if she could pick the table for us as I hadn't been before, and every request was dealt with perfectly. They didn't miss a beat. The cauliflower small plate and the sesame seed tofu, in particular, were UNREAL. But we got several dishes to share, and everything was delicious *chefs kiss* I will 100% be returning to this venue, and think it's definitely one of my top ten spots in Glasgow.

My colleague recommended this brunch cafe to me, so I decided to drop in for a quick meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I ordered a bank breakfast and a pot of breakfast tea. Overall, the food was good, but the mushrooms and bean were too cold. Additionally, I wasn't provided with any cutlery at the beginning of my meal, so I had to request a fork and knife from the staff later on. Despite these minor inconveniences, I might still recommend the place overall.
