Changed. Landlord is actually decent must of caught him off guard the garden hasn't been bad since and the food is nice

Visited on a Sunday lunch time lovely beer garden with free bouncy castle for kids and nice atmosphere

Just had drinks there nice boozer tho

Food cold waited over an hour for food plates was cold we said no ice in drink come with ice service was lazy

Came for a night out was a brilliant night & great atmosphere. Managers waited at the end for me to get into my taxi safe. Brought my daughter the next day for food & it was honestly so lovely. The staff were very polite & helpful.

Came in after the the refurb and new management. Pub looks great. Steak was good quality cut of meat and pizzas where really good, Nice and fresh. Definitely recommend.

I attended a craft fair with half a dozen stalls. Car's parked have to be registered at the bar. I ordered two batches and they were large, tasty and a very good price. It's not a large pub, so it got a bit noisy towards the end of the fair. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A couple of the customers helped with clearing.

Far to expensive for a drink 🍸

Shocking staff ! So was in there to have a nice pint of larger, and the daughter behind the bar was ramping and raving to the customer's because she was in a mood ! And then the owner lady came out and started shouting at the customer. Shocking won't come here again, moody staff!!!!!!!

Bar staff are very rude the experience i haf in there coming up to me stating something an when i ask what she was on about saying dint start an her manners was horrible

New land lady there very rude no customer service asked for a coke slammed can on bar never asked me for ice I asked her she put it in my glass and all my coke went everywhere not good at all

My friends and myself have been using the Toby Jug for years, the bar staff and the locals are friendly. The Beer is good, the garden area really nice on a sunny day. It's a typical traditional pub that I feel comfortable in.

I Dj here every other Saturday and I must say the people and staff there are great never any trouble in there friendly service and friendly people, I tried the cafe that just recently opened there and it’s by far one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time, I have a cafe round the corner from my house and I live a fair distance but would rather travel to the Toby cafe and affordable prices

I used to visit this pub at least once or twice a month to catch catch up with family and friends and regulars that have now become amazing friends. I then become great friends with Liam and have friends who are bar staff. One day I saw them rushed off there feet and saw the amazing jobs they was still doing so jumped in and helped. I now do my best to try to support and help as much as possible and my face is there daily. Every staff member is now a good friend and lovely genuine people. An I’m over the moon about the new recent changes and the cafe opening. Proud of you all and the Cafe and food is amazing. Keep going I will support and help as much as possible. The loveliest of peoples and friendly environment and to top it off all child friendly and go above and beyond. Keep coming here! My fav pub in the area!

Absolutely love the Toby. Love coming with mates that regulars. Bar staff amazing and friendly. Liam Is a good friend and I hope everyone supports him and the Toby jug and any adventures that come along. I look forward to work and coming for a pint here even if me mates don’t come and I walk in on me own the lovely regulars and it’s a good environment!

Friendly staff, nice little grass area where the kids could play as they have closed the kids area. The inside isn't great but we go to a pub to sit in the sun not sit inside

Considering it's a pandemic ordered from the toby. And food was lovely as always the driver delivered it to the door and put it in patio and was friendly and polite. Keep up the good work.

Just had a curry from the above and felt I needed to put a post on to say how good it was, the food was very tasty and lots of it and the delivery time was excellent, I would defiantly recommend.

Enjoyed it. But never again will I take the Mrs

Went there on a Friday early evening with my other half. Use to go there many years ago together. Has changed an awful lot. It has a pool table and other machines for the children to play on. Even in the lounge the floor is bare, no carpet. Yes it sounds rough but all the staff and the customers make you feel very welcome. They serve food, and very basic but very nice and a nice price too. There is also a curry house inside the pub itself. It can be eaten in or out.

The curry was flavourless & watery plus bones in the chicken it was disgusting and I can't see us ordering here again even though we have used them before

I complained after ordering food I could not wash my hands no running water in toilet six months later still no running water in toilet would anyone visit a resturant where you could not wash before eating what are the chefs doing will go back just to check I would not hold my breath no pun intended
