Nice proper pub. I didn't have food, but it looked lovely.

Donner meat tasteless , and full of fat Chips awful and fish shrivelled up inside a case of greasy overcooked batter ! Used to be very good but gone down hill! Better places nearby people !!

Went in for lunch as my other local food place was close, I went for the chicken curry special, this comes with chips and a cold drink, I have to say it's was absolutely lovely...slightly spicier than I would normally eat but as it was that nice I just had to finish it, the lunch time special price for the homemade curry, chips and drink was a bargain at £4, I will be returning

Sorry I haven’t been for a while and definitely won’t leave it so long next time. Tonight I had the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time, the staff were friendly and I was given a free bag fish bites which my cat also enjoyed 😬

Good food but they over charged my mom, when I checked after she got in the car found out she was charged £12.90 for a £5.00 kebab.

Worst meal ever .I ordered cheese burger with salad and mayo and got a squashed dry roll with a dry burger and cheese. I can"t even describe the chips they were so bad .I won't be wasting my time ordering from there again.

This has to be my favorite chippy in the area. Always go here despite moving further away definitely worth the travel. Always happy helpful staff.

Just had chips and scallops absolutely disgusting dry as anything scallop batter was burnt ....this is not the first time think its time we had a new fish shop

I'll leave an honest review. The kebab meat is one of the best quality I've ever had. You can tell they use real meat and not the cheap fake kabab meat found in many other high street takeaways. The fish is also very good quality especially the cod bites. Their Southern Fried Chicken is also amongst the best I've ever had (even better than Colonel Saunders recipe). The only thing that lets this chip chop down and the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is the chips are quite dry so will need to be eaten with sauce or gravy. This could be fixed maybe by changing the oil they use? Still worth visiting and highly recommend.

Wouldn't of give them a star if it was allowed. Just had a bag of chips and they were disgusting. Tasted if rottin potato and were not at all crispy. Used to be a great chippie but will never go back there again

Got a fish and chips from here and they were actually reasonable, however there was something very hard among the fish and chips like a small rock that I chipped my tooth on (I wasn't able to find what it was).

I am working in Solihull down from Stoke and used this chippy twice now. The first time I had fish and chips which were delicious and the fish was very fresh. Today I had chicken and chips and it’s simply the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. So crispy a juicy inside and seasoned well. Move over colonial from Kentucky with your daft white facial hair. Step in Marsdon Green fish bar. The staff are very friendly and polite. The only downside is, and it doesn’t have a value box option where you can add Doner meat for a value price but who cares when the chicken is this nice. Keep up the good work. When I’m done opening the business I’m helping open we will be regulars for sure.

Usually enjoy their food but tonight they served up the worst chips I have ever seen. They were dark brown and dry.

Forgot one of the chips but to be honest didnt matter as they were probably the worse chips I've ever had dry ,tasteless and hard must've been afternoons warm ups .1st and last time Never again!

Overpriced for what the portion sizes are like. Quality of food better on the Sunday than in the week probably due to cook. I refuse to try the fish again as last couple of times it's been awful, disgusting, infact I have had to throw it away I wouldn't even give it to my cats! That's how bad it was, no fish it was all black no white fish, batter rock solid and so so dry. I won't be going there again. A family bag of chips you would think would feed more than 2 people yes? Well the bag I bought it didn't do 2 people it did just 1 an what was left well that wouldn't have been enough for a child let alone an adult the price well its a chippy where food isn't great at all, nothing looked great all dried up and looked so old. That place used to be a great chippy but now no way, I may have gone on a bad day who knows only good thing was the onion rings. For 2 pieces of tinned roe, 1 portion of onion rings and a family bag of chips I didn't get much change from £10!!!! I felt robbed!!!! Never again

On the door as you go in: Pay by Visa, Master Card etc,etc. Order your food….. go to pay by your card and they show you a small hand written notice by the till NO CARD PAYMETS. What type of customer service is that? I walked out hungry, so enjoyed the take out next door that did not fake advertise cards on their door! (IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING CARDS – BLANK THEM OUT ON YOUR DOOR)!!!

Worst fish and chip shop around chips were so bad and greasy that we couldn’t eat them complained twice but it’s very hit and miss to know if the food is going to be any good tried phoning it goes straight to voicemail disgusting when you pay the prices and you can’t eat the food.

Food was poor the staff very rude was more interested in watching the tele than serving the customers when there was a big long queue and the sauces were gone off as it had cuddled on the kebabs by the time we got home

Quite expensive. Ordered fish& chips. A load of grease sodden stodge. Staff were scruffy. wearing dirty blue polo shirts. Needs new management, and a re-fit.

Enormous portion of chips. Such a shame they don't do gluten free any more, so that's all l could have.

Went there today about 1pm and the chips were very poor tasted like they had been recooked

This has always been the best chippy in the local area. The queues round the shop all the way to the door on a Saturday night are a testament to its popularity. I like that fact that you have a choice of cod, haddock or plaice, which I don't get in most of the chippies where I now live. Portion sizes are pretty generous and the food has always been well cooked.

Went there today . Absolutely vile. Chips are cooked in an oil that tastes horrible. They were like slop. Chicken kebab meat was so greasy. Orange colour grease leaked out the container

Georgio's serves the best food for miles around, well worth coming to this chippy!
