Toby Carvery in Oldham

Came for Christmas dinner after having come here for the same a few years back. We've been really impressed both times with the quality of the food and the meat in particular was lovely. My 8 year old can be picky with his food but he said he really liked the lamb. Today we were served by Abi and Millie, and the carver was Scott. Thanks all for a wonderful time.

Excelent really enjoyed my meal , so pleased to see Toby serving again lovely food , the only one thing would like to see more choice on sweets

Normally go to Farm restaurants for a carvery but tried Toby for a change, not great, only able to have one size plate even if you have a big or small appetite, my mother would normally get a small carvery but was made to pay £15 like everyone else, not much choice on the carvery and it was only warm not hot even though it had only just been put out, won’t be going again unless Toby give you a choice of dinner sizes

I am a gluten free diet. I knew what I could have and not. When I told the waitress I was gluten free diet. She gave me a tablet to read about allergy etc. After reading. I filled a form in saying I was happy. I then asked if the chef could provide plain cauliflower instead of the cheese sauce. They was happy to oblige. All in all the meal was brilliant. And so we're all the staff.

Georgia did an amazing job serving us and was very polite checking how our food was and if there was anything she could get us. Thank you.

Lovely atmosphere, decked out ready for Christmas. The cavery was delicious. Ellesse was our server and was very friendly and helpful.

Awful told to wait for food after paying for 10 mins we got coffee and toast.we went after 15 mins for food came back table cleared even though handbag was there. We were so polite but the female behind the bar was so rude.no apology kept saying whats up. I dont usually moan but this was dreadful for 19 quid

A long wait to be seen. Asked what allergies or intolerances I have. I am a coeliac. I was asked to sign something before eating, which of course I didn't want to do. I always feel it is hard work to go out for something to eat, but this took it to another level. I was looked at like I was being unreasonable not wanting to sign. Not coeliac friendly. Avoid.

Arrived not having booked a table and was greeted by Nathan he found us a table service was impeccable couldn't do more than enough for us polite and customer service was excellent

Lovely food as usual! Had the standard carvery, brilliant selection of veg/sides. Turkey and beef both tender and plentiful. Staff welcoming and chef had even remembered us from a visit a few months back, so great customer engagement!!!!

I often eat on my own. There is another gent that dines on his own. All the staff know him and treat him very well. So lovely to see all the kind guestures they make to him.

Love this place would highly recommend booking, we go on a Sunday and have leg of lamb - amazing ! Sticky toffee pudding for dessert, absolute heaven .
