El personal aquí parece tan rígido e incapaz de pensar fuera de la caja. Que mientras quería cargar mi laptop mientras disfrutaba de mi café en medio del día desenchufando una lámpara que estaba encendida, el miembro del personal dijo que no estaba permitido. Seguramente el servicio al cliente debe ser lo primero cuando la luz en el medio del día ni siquiera proporciona luz adicional. La gente viene aquí para reuniones y para hacer un poco de trabajo mientras come durante el día, así que perder a este cliente porque no se adapta a esas necesidades básicas parece tan tonto para los negocios.

Café muy amargo - pero más dulce que el hombre que lo hace que me dijo "cada uno tiene un gusto diferente" vivo local y es el peor café de la zona - sin embargo, el más caro. El personal debe ir de compras y comparar su oferta con otros

Un lugar encantador para el desayuno, el personal muy amable que estaba encantado de ayudar. Muy buen café y un excelente desayuno.

Gerente muy grosero / agresivo. Viví en el Reino Unido durante 20 años y estoy acostumbrado a los valores británicos y al servicio al cliente, especialmente cuando se trata de lugares locales como este. Este lugar parece ser bueno solo cuando u son solo un número que viene, sin preguntas, pagar y salir. Me preocupo por el medio ambiente y traigo mi propia taza dada la cantidad de tazas de café que se tiran en este lugar. Solo pregunté (dado que me estamparon extra en el pasado) si alguna recompensa por esto ya que es bastante normal que las cadenas y tiendas independientes hagan eso. El gerente manejando la consulta extremadamente agresivo y no solo eso, dijo si no me gusta aquí, ir a otro lugar . Vaya, en este punto no se trataba de una recompensa estúpida sino de su agresividad y grosería manejando la simple consulta. El gerente necesita aprender a ser más educado y flexible, pero también entender que (si es un obstinado o no , admite o no) los negocios existen localmente debido a clientes como yo y otros. Además, dado que esto no es una plaza Trafalgar, normalmente en las comunidades locales, según los valores británicos, somos agradables y flexibles y considerados entre sí y no nos convertimos en un número más para ganar dinero. Dado que su café no es el más barato, un poco de servicio al cliente no vendría mal.

This place does not support or care about disabled veterans or anyone with disabilities. I went in to get an to go order with my servi e animal as I am a disabled combat veteran. I was told to leave because of my working service dog. Even after identifying myself and providing my service animal ID, I was shooed out of the shop to wait outside. Im pretty sure this is illegal. I will be contacting the correct authorities and filing a claim against this business unless this is resolved. No one with disabilities should be treated like this. The entire cafe and everyone inside was staring at me and made me feel like I was a terrible human being for having a disability and service animal.

Can’t believe all these negative reviews. I go there especially to have their English breakfast which has the best scrambled eggs and the tastiest sausages you can find. Ok it’s not cheap and it’s crowded because it’s small and popular. I’ve seen lots of people using their laptops there when it’s not busy. If you just want a place to work you’re probably better off going to a chain. As for the staff the girls are absolutely sweet. I’ve never seen one be rude or unpleasant. One of my favourite small cafes - and you CAN get toast there!

My husband tried to order a drink whilst waiting for me to arrive. He wasn't allowed a tab.Then when I arrived and ordered some lunch the manager came to accuse my husband of swearing at the staff. He certainly did not. The manager was aggressive and from what I could see he was unhinged and very rude. We got our money back and left. Very disgusted to have been the object of rage and blatant lies from the manager. I don't understand what it was about and why he was raging at us the customers. We will never set foot in that restaurant again! If anyone wants verbal abuse then go there!

Over priced (£60 for 3 breakfasts ,3 juice and 2 coffees) small and rather bad breakfast ( cold toast and eggs, one sausage and one bacon rasher) ,awful coffee and surly staff . I’d rate less if possible . Places like this should not be in business.

This one particular guy — terribly rude. I was sitting with a laptop and he comes charging at me saying laptops are not allowed in the weekend. I respect and understand that one might have rules in the cafe, however if I were him, I’d politely remind the unaware customer of the rule instead of charging at them like a school teacher. Might I mention I had been at the cafe for 1+ hrs before this guy’s shift and none of the other Baristas reminded or alerted me regarding this rule they had. Now luckily for Toast, they won’t have to worry about me using laptops on the weekends, because after 2 years of having been a regular customer who visited almost every day, I shall NEVER return to this cafe and make sure everyone I know in the neighbourhood is aware of their inconsiderate behaviour. Thank you Toast for showing me that I could definitely find better places with decent behaviour in the neighbourhood.

Very fresh sandwiches. Slow service on account of the place being really busy Staff very helpful Would definitely come here again

The carbon monoxide alarm went off in my flat, and I was forced to leave, despite my back being injured and barely able to walk I went down to this cafe for breakfast with my ipad, and to look up what to do on the Interenet and communicate with my landlord. After I purchased eggs benedict and a tea, I sat down that they told me I could not use my ipad in their cafe. I told them about my exceptional circumstance and they still insisted I could not use an ipad there. I can’t imagine ever refusing someone under these circumstances. It really takes a group of sociopaths to do that.

Visité pour prendre un petit-déjeuner nous avons été bien accueillis. Les viennoiseries sont bonnes et moelleuses, le cappuccino était parfait. Endroit très intimiste.

Paid over £15 for 3 soft drinks and 2 slices of cake, which may be the going rate for the area. However, what really annoyed me was when I asked for a glass for my Diet Coke I was told that these are not for customers, despite there being a shelf full of glasses, who are they for then ? Very unfriendly and unhelpful service. Regret going in there.

Excellent ! Been coming here for years. Very friendly atmosphere, great quality Coffees, Cake and Snacks.

Hopeless. Avoid like your sanity depends on it! I ordered two teas, patesis de nata and sausage rolls. The teas and pastry came over fairly swiftly. Tea in a takeaway cup even though we were sitting in. Then it goes wonky, big time. After 20 minutes the sausages rolls arrive and are frozen in the middle, not tepid, not cold - frozen. Like a popsicle! I take them back to the counter and ask for hot sausage rolls. Another 20 minutes go by and then two more sausages rolls arrive. You’ve guessed it, still frozen. This time we returned them, got a refund and left. They either don’t care, not sure how to heat food or unable to differentiate between hot and cold. Either way I urge you to go and find somewhere else as this place has the potential to make you ill.

We found the cafe as we were waiting to meet a friend at Warwick Avenue. We popped in for coffees and couldn’t resist the pastries. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. Clean, friendly, popular coffee shop.

jolie décoration, tables trop serrées, longue attente, les pires œufs Bénédicte de ma vie, mauvaise sauce sans rapport avec la recette originale. Les autres œufs brouillés des autres assiettes ne paraissaient pas plus appétissants.

First of all, I was given regular latte ( I asked for oat latte) and I’m allergic to diary!!! Needles to say I realised too late ( after trying it)… also, the coffee was weak and mediocre. I have mot been offered a replacement . We opted to eat in and they offer take away cups claiming it’s covid rules ( but plates are regular ceramics !) , obviously too lazy to wash up. Most sandwiches were dry and the chicken one looked particularly old and crusty, clotted cream texture… Pastries are old and dry.

I went there today and ordered a mocha - I've never been to Toast before but the mocha they served was out of this world. I'll be back!
