Exeter's hidden gem! This restaurant smashes the stereotypes of 'hospital food' and is the best value breakfast in the city. £5 will get you an eight item breakfast, which was more than enough to fill us up for a great start to the day. The fried bread was genuinely delicious - crispy, not greasy. We opted for vegetarian sausages, which was a considerate touch, but pork sausages and bacon are available. There are also freshly baked pastries and sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be visiting again to try the evening meals!

Our local Papa John's is great but this was our first and last time ordering from Papa John's in Exeter. We ordered four pizzas for delivery ... £80.00 ... they arrived in okay time and were still warm but the pizza was pure rubbish ... nothing like we are used to getting from other Papa John's. We will NEVER AGAIN order from Papa John's Exeter.

The Cornish pasty had plenty of meat in and potato & swede but was overseasonned with pepper it burnt my mouth and also gave me chronic indigestion. To be fair my wife had the lamb & mint which she enjoyed.

Pricey... If you're not up for that the Toby carvery nearby is the excellent alternative. But GOOD. Imaginative, well prepared menu and staff coped well with a sudden impromptu gathering of old friends.

We stop at these services frequently as they are the best place to charge. Always chargers available and they always seem to work first time. Each visit takes us to the food hall, it feels a little tired, but it's difficult with such a footfall to keep it pristine. The restrooms are always clean.

Went here for a bite to eat we ordered a tea cake and a breakfast. The lady serving looked like she didn’t want to be there. Teacake came with only 1 butter and when I asked to have some more we were told that we had to pay 40p per butter? That’s outrageous for butter. The breakfast came and it looked unappetizing I ordered an extra sausage but never got it and when I questioned this I was told “oh did you?” Even tho she charged me for it. Honestly the worse breakfast I’ve ever had. The cafe was so much nicer before now it just looks so dark and depressing with little to nothing available in the fridges. Staff looked miserable and the place was a state all dirty dishes left on tables and on the tray rack by the toilets. They obviously aren’t cleaning them often as we were the only ones in there and now I can see why Never using this cafe again
