TJ'S Oadby Kebab House (Burger, Pizzas) in Oadby and Wigston

TJ's Oadby is the real deal! The kebabs are on point, nice portions and taste. The vibes are chill, and the staff are top notch very cool guys especially the ginger guy at the counter. Clean spot. Definitely coming back for more. Five stars, no doubt!

I regularly pick up a meal, and Omar always puts sauces on as I have liked previously, and never forgets... Very polite and price is reasonable and place is clean, and the food is tasty and cooked to my specification. Would recommend it highly to my friends and family.

Avoid the staff had bad attitude.... Iv been a customer for years as have my family and between us we at leased order once a week as a treat. We always enjoyed the food.. Tonight as delivey would take so long we collected was told 20min and was bang on time... My husband arrived with the food cold hard and the shesh meat was burnt and rock hard. My chips and cheese were not cooked hard cold and full of grease! I called to explain and was greater with nothing but attitude that it was cold as we collected late when we didn't as I had the call log! I asked why the chips were raw and why my meat was burnt again the man was arguing with me. I explained I have rarely had issues but the this time all our meals were horrible. We ate the salad! It was a £40 takeaway and I asked if they could put this right and the guy gave me nothing but attitude. Il make Sure after that customer service my self and my family will not use these again. Iv had the odd order not it's best from there in the past these things happen I'm a business owner my self sometimes these things happen. However my priority is taking on good and bad feed back and making sure my customers are happy and want them to return. After the argument I have just had on the phone being accused of being a lier. Il avoid from now on.

They are always help and when something does go wrong . It’s sorted with any issues . The sweet corn Mayo veggie burgers are the best in Leicester

I went to TJs Oadby for a takeaway after a night out with my wife. After I had ordered my food, I noticed that the person serving me was also cleaning the floor and worktops. I asked that the person serving me clean his hands before touching my food - he told me he had even though he had just been a few seconds away. I again asked if he would clean his hands - which I thought was a reasonble request. He went around the corner and then someone from the back turns up shouting and cursing at me. At one stage he seemed to be climbing over the counter to attack me. I got out of the shop asap and went somewhere else for my takeaway. I am shocked at the behaviour of staff members of this chain. It is not unreasonable for a member of the public to ask that basic hygiene processes are followed. It is unacceptable for a member of the public to feel threatened by a TJs staff member just because of a complaint.

Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about any aspect of this place. Food was terrible one of the worst Donner kebab I had well actually I didn't eat it. They charge me £13 for a Donner and small chips which was dishonest. a large Donner with salad and chips was advertised on the wall for £11.50 I think so they take advantage of there customer where they can. I was charged £3 for a small chips I have attached pictures of the food so it can help other people Just to compare oadby chippy only charge under £7 for much better Donner. Really really disappointed. I will not recommend this place and I wouldn't advice anyone to go there. Donner meat the gave me must have been many days old it was discolour and very hard and no taste. Pitta bread they used was blue in place I think it was mold. I am not making this up please see attached pictures Don't waste your money.

I have just eaten one piece of the vilest pizza ever made! Pay the extra and run over the road I couldn’t give it 0 stars but it so deserved it I called to tell him he told me people have different tastes??? He is clearly deranged he needs to stop making pizza because he clearly not! Didn’t even offer a refund a total joke

Up to you guys. Whether the food is tasty or not and whether the delivered order is right or not is a lottery. How much effort is there to read what is in front of you. And then have the audacity of charging up to 75% more than collection (albeit most goes to the rip off delivery companies). Basically avoid this place if you can.

Absolutely shocked when the young trainee worker got told by the boss that you are only allowed one sauce on your kebab. And if you want 2 sauces a extra charge will apply first time I have ever come across this in any kebab shop in the country truly shocking I wonder how much the sauces cost now days? Better off going up the road to costa or oadby fish bar at least they don’t moan about how many sauces you are allowed on your kebab. Will not be returning anytime soon that’s for sure.

The bread for the kebab was small there was more kebab meat than the bread and the pizza tasted nice but it didn’t look like it had enough cheese on it meaning it didn’t look cheesy enough like it didn’t fat chunky cheesy enough the chips were ok but the pizza and kebab were nice it’s just 2 thing 1 not enough bread for the kebab meaning the bread looked so small there was more meat than bread and the pizza lacked cheese it didn’t look chunky and fatty cheesy enough pepperoni was still nice though but yeah low quality here wouldn’t recommend

We have been ordering from this place for many years. The previous owners were excellent, kind , courteous people and the food was excellent. The quality has gone down but still good. Since recently, our order is always short of something. Yesterday was the last straw. Order arrived. Opened to eat but again pitta bread missing. Phone to complain but the person on the other end just kept shouting and saying stop ordering from us. Very rude and no sense of customer service. We went to the shop to talk and the lies they kept giving was undeliverable. The young guy even had the cheek to say that he was actually lying and wouldn’t give the owner/ manager’s name. This was the last time we order from them. I would never give them the pleasure of my custom ever again. Absolutely disgusting service

I had ordered from there for the first time and was very satisfied so i decided to order again but for some reason the quality just wasn't there my burger had been thrown together my buns were soggy chips stail and cold, i had also gotten a chicken kabab where the chicken was over cooked and hard to chew hopefully they with improve

Ordered thru just eat, chips were cold and rubbery, chicken burger extremely poor quality. they wanted photographic evidence of the chips tasting like rubber. Will not order again, thanks just-eat for not helping. Avoid at all costs

Numerous TJs in the city This does not seem to be as good as the Evington village one and is definitely more expensive. Still cheap compared to new fancy burger shops

Not worth a visit. There are far better Kebab shops in the Wigston area ( Aberdale Road and Wigston Magna ). The Lamb was extremely fatty and unbelievably chewy !!! The shop simply does not understand customer service if you have a genuine complaint.

Awful service. Waited 2 hours for order. Kept being told it would be 5 minutes, then had text to say order had been cancelled. This is the 2nd time this has happened, we gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first time. Avoid at all costs.

i had a spicy chicken pizza and it was full of salt it was not nice at all i called them in oadby and they said they wont replace them so i will never use them again it made 3 people ill

One of the best food corner I ever came across in my life the TJ’s hold an amazing reputation because of its amazing recipe of making chicken and lamb sheesh kebab it’s making and it’s essence with different sort of pickles & Sauce is probably one of the best dishes I ever came across though now I m not anymore in Leicester but my craving for such a dish never stops welcome TJ’s when I m there I m up to your place

Went in there after a night out with some friends, all of us ordered a small lamb donner kebab, said it would take a while to heat up so gave us all free chips while we were waiting. Chili sauce was very good, so was the kebab. Thanks TJs.

We used to really enjoy the food from here and it was usually delivered quickly but something has changed over the past few months and delivery now takes up to an hour. Despite being 5 mins from our house, the food has been cold for our last two orders. My partner refuses to order anything from them now. Sort it out TJ’s!!

Food was ordered at 6:30pm food finally arrived at 8:45pm stone cold. Phone them up straight away to complain then had to wait a further 40mins for food we live 10 mins away. When food arrived they forgot the chips and sauces. For what I paid the place has gone down hill. Avoid at all costs

My original post went something like this... 'They do some really really tasty food.... But when you have to wait OVER 2 HOURS for it to arrive, well by that point, you're raiding the fridge and have given up hope for your kebab or pizza.' We decided to give them another go... well sadly, we ordered at 6:25PM and our food arrived at 8:10PM. I rang up at about 7:45 asking after it and got the 'yeah, yeah... its out for delivery', with not so much as a hint of concern for the fact we ordered the food well over an hour and a half ago. I have changed my 3 stars to 1 stars for the time it took, but also for the fact that the food was 'sweaty' as it was clearly sat in a plastic bad for some time, the chicken dried out and the chips soggy. It was just abysmal. We wont be ordering again from TJs Oadby anytime soon.

The best takeaway shop. Pizza fresh, chips delicious and crispy, wonderful service and always on time. They have wonderful burgers too - the chicken burger is great. Would reccomend.

Shockingly poor service, order to arrive within 60 minutes.... Not even started cooking an hour and 20 minutes later!!! I guess it's alcohol for dinner then... Won't use again.

Had a big takeaway tonight, lots of different things for the family. It all came hot and gorgeous. The whole family ate everything, burgers, kebabs and chicken burger all great. Best takeaway we've had for some time

Always messing up orders, we've gave them several chances but nothing changes. Food quality has gone downhill as well. Only use if you want a different order to what you wanted

I always ordered Pizza through Rose but unfortunately today evening, when I have something to complain about l, Rose was NOT around, SO, I came across extreme your employee who was being very rude, didn’t haveto understand my concerns. His name was Hassan, I will never ever order from Hassan but will rather order from difficult other Pizza’s company in Oadby. Will also tell all my friend about the Hassan Bad customer service

First time customer and deffiantly the last. I called for an order at 8.30pm stating the order will be ready within 45 minutes. 9.45pm i call and they say it won't be ready for another 30 minutes. No apology no discount i an disgraced. Ive heard this happens alot with them.

I’ve ordered from here several times and received rude service from an employee of tjs. I’ve only gone back because the food was good. Well no more. I went in today and asked the employee for my food to be ready in half an hour. This was in conjunction with pizza from papa johns. Went back in at agreed time and apparently the man “forgot” to do my food. Said it would be 10 minutes. I declined as pizza was ready and had hungry children. When I complained nothing but rudeness from the previously mentioned employee. Disgusting customer service.

Great food as with all TJs was busy when i was there so had to wait but well worth it

Had a donner kebab and chips. The meat was rock hard and the chips were soggy after being fried so many times. This is about the most expensive food takeaway place in Oadby as well. Just shows that cost doesn't always mean quality.

Not used this outlet in years, was surprised it was still going. Overall, not the best or worst in town - a little pricey!

Cheesy chips are yummy and the pizzas are huge.
