TJ'S Oadby Kebab House (Burger, Pizzas) in Oadby and Wigston

The best and most reliable burger joint in Oadby, they can actually read instructions (unlike the new joint Burger and Sauce joint near co-op which is full of illiterate people ) - would recommend TJ’s any day.

The drink didn’t come, there was no salad on two of the burgers

I requested 10pm , I was told on the app 10.05 pm and then I get a call at 9.45 saying it’s been left on my doorstep? So when I got home , it wasn’t even warm !

Ordered x2 meal deals and paid extra for cheese on chips - chips arrived with no cheese. Contacted foodhub and was refunded the £2.60. A while later i realised I had not received the drinks for my order, admittedly it was 2 hours after delivery but when contacting TJs the manager was incredibly rude and aggressive and called me a liar and acted like he had already done me a favour for refunding the MISSING cheese that I HAD PAID FOR. I wont be ordering from here again. Really disappointing customer service👎

Food arrived and in the salad was a plastic lid which my son with special needs chocked on it, he’s now refusing to eat anymore food. I have a photo of this available if anyone would like to see it.

The shish kebab and in particular the meat was poor and the Doner pizza was full of grease and not a lot else.

chips were old and we're burnt and reheated. burgers were poor very little sauce on wife's tofu burger, salad was brown and past it's best. very poor quality.

Food is great, drivers are nice, usually right on time, never any problems until now. Missing a can of Pepsi max and there is no way to address this through the Just Eat app.

food was nice but paid 9.50 for a chicken burger meal and just got burger no chips.

Can’t comment on atmosphere as I ordered delivery , but unless I got lucky. Some of these reviews are a bit unfair. Food was good quality , lovely chicken wings , nice spice to them. Burger was great too, plenty of salad and mayo. Delivery was more or less on time , no complaints. Satisfied with the meal

Absolutely dreadful 😫 order at 9.15 told be with Me between 9.40 n 10 so I wait outside due to being a hospital delivery as nil by mouth at midnight due to delivering my twins by csection not only it didn't turn up ! kept being told different things at 10 when I called for an update the food was on its way then at 10.20 i called n I was told its been delivered but apparently I wasn't there but was still on its way then at 10.40 changed it to the called me at 10 to say its cancelled which they also didn't do so after a long wait rude staff I got nothing 🤬😡 but hungry

Luke warm, asked for extra chillie pickles didn’t get it, very small portion of salad and sauce - chips were hard

It was not that good it was hard and pizza is cold

kebab meat was dry as a bone, like it's been left cooking for days, had 2 mouths full then put it in the bin where it belongs, won't be using them again unless its for a burger, which have always been fin

I love the food from here and had a little bit of a problem with the delivery but they was very quick to sort it out and food was nice and hot when it got here

TJ's Oadby is the real deal! The kebabs are on point, nice portions and taste. The vibes are chill, and the staff are top notch very cool guys especially the ginger guy at the counter. Clean spot. Definitely coming back for more. Five stars, no doubt!

it's terrible to have to leave a bad review, however our hand was forced as the decision for a refund or even a partial refund was refused despite our complaint that the order was wrong and we were charged for an item we did not get - utterly dreadful and outright theft- we won't be ordering from here ever again.

Even though the delivery was a bit late the driver was very apologetic and gave us a little treat for compensation which was really nice. Quality of food was better than expected. I have ordered from here before and i definitely will again in the future.

Ordered a deep pan pizza but came half uncooked, very doughy, definitely not deep pan, chips were soggy undercooked! Veery diaspointed, first time using TJS, definitely not again! Only positive it arrived on time!.

All the time I've been having tjs it's been lovely but the doner meat 2 nite was burnt and couldn't eat it

I regularly pick up a meal, and Omar always puts sauces on as I have liked previously, and never forgets... Very polite and price is reasonable and place is clean, and the food is tasty and cooked to my specification. Would recommend it highly to my friends and family.

Fries where cold, and lamb Shiah was Luke warm. Had to blast it in the microwave. Not what you wanted when you’ve been in hospital not allowed to eat for 3 days for surgery only to come home starving and drained and wanting something tasty and quick and easy for it to be under big standard. Avoid the staff had bad attitude.... Iv been a customer for years as have my family and between us we at leased order once a week as a treat. We always enjoyed the food.. Tonight as delivey would take so long we collected was told 20min and was bang on time... My husband arrived with the food cold hard and the shesh meat was burnt and rock hard. My chips and cheese were not cooked hard cold and full of grease! I called to explain and was greater with nothing but attitude that it was cold as we collected late when we didn't as I had the call log! I asked why the chips were raw and why my meat was burnt again the man was arguing with me. I explained I have rarely had issues but the this time all our meals were horrible. We ate the salad! It was a £40 takeaway and I asked if they could put this right and the guy gave me nothing but attitude. Il make Sure after that customer service my self and my family will not use these again. Iv had the odd order not it's best from there in the past these things happen I'm a business owner my self sometimes these things happen. However my priority is taking on good and bad feed back and making sure my customers are happy and want them to return. After the argument I have just had on the phone being accused of being a lier. Il avoid from now on.

Food was awful!! Burger came with stuff in I didn't want. Garlic bread with cheese was barely cooked and soaked in grease. Ordered wings with chips and cheese and nuggets with chips and cheese and they stuck it in a box together so just a massive clump. Would never eat here again, total waste of money

Delivered the wrong size pizzas, then told 15 minutes to replace them. Turned up 35 minutes later! Shocking. Will not use these again

Absolutely disgusting ordered a large kabab £19 if came with a few bits of Donna on completely missing the chicken out of it !! Pizzas was completely squashed to the top of the box so half the toppings was missing. The chips was stone cold and rock hard. We’re regular customers so we’re absolutely apauled won’t be ordering again.

Came quickly but didn't get my drink I ordered

I went to TJs Oadby for a takeaway after a night out with my wife. After I had ordered my food, I noticed that the person serving me was also cleaning the floor and worktops. I asked that the person serving me clean his hands before touching my food - he told me he had even though he had just been a few seconds away. I again asked if he would clean his hands - which I thought was a reasonble request. He went around the corner and then someone from the back turns up shouting and cursing at me. At one stage he seemed to be climbing over the counter to attack me. I got out of the shop asap and went somewhere else for my takeaway. I am shocked at the behaviour of staff members of this chain. It is not unreasonable for a member of the public to ask that basic hygiene processes are followed. It is unacceptable for a member of the public to feel threatened by a TJs staff member just because of a complaint.

Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about any aspect of this place. Food was terrible one of the worst Donner kebab I had well actually I didn't eat it. They charge me £13 for a Donner and small chips which was dishonest. a large Donner with salad and chips was advertised on the wall for £11.50 I think so they take advantage of there customer where they can. I was charged £3 for a small chips I have attached pictures of the food so it can help other people Just to compare oadby chippy only charge under £7 for much better Donner. Really really disappointed. I will not recommend this place and I wouldn't advice anyone to go there. Donner meat the gave me must have been many days old it was discolour and very hard and no taste. Pitta bread they used was blue in place I think it was mold. I am not making this up please see attached pictures Don't waste your money.

Driver decided to put that the food was delivered way before it was which resulted us to having to ring the restaurant but he was still 20 mins late.

I have just eaten one piece of the vilest pizza ever made! Pay the extra and run over the road I couldn’t give it 0 stars but it so deserved it I called to tell him he told me people have different tastes??? He is clearly deranged he needs to stop making pizza because he clearly not! Didn’t even offer a refund a total joke

Up to you guys. Whether the food is tasty or not and whether the delivered order is right or not is a lottery. How much effort is there to read what is in front of you. And then have the audacity of charging up to 75% more than collection (albeit most goes to the rip off delivery companies). Basically avoid this place if you can.

Absolutely shocked when the young trainee worker got told by the boss that you are only allowed one sauce on your kebab. And if you want 2 sauces a extra charge will apply first time I have ever come across this in any kebab shop in the country truly shocking I wonder how much the sauces cost now days? Better off going up the road to costa or oadby fish bar at least they don’t moan about how many sauces you are allowed on your kebab. Will not be returning anytime soon that’s for sure.

I've had a few vegetarian burgers from TJ before and they were very nice however this time I was very disappointed to find the burgers were burnt to a crisp and what little veg they put on was just thrown on with no care what so ever

The bread for the kebab was small there was more kebab meat than the bread and the pizza tasted nice but it didn’t look like it had enough cheese on it meaning it didn’t look cheesy enough like it didn’t fat chunky cheesy enough the chips were ok but the pizza and kebab were nice it’s just 2 thing 1 not enough bread for the kebab meaning the bread looked so small there was more meat than bread and the pizza lacked cheese it didn’t look chunky and fatty cheesy enough pepperoni was still nice though but yeah low quality here wouldn’t recommend

The lamb steak was so tough and chewy with barely any edible meat. It has been better before .I was disappointed because it is ramadan and we are fasting and we were looking forward to it.
