Pizza Mondo in Oadby and Wigston

Really tasty Pizza and Curry, we called in on the way home, plenty of topping on the pizza, which we finished the next day, and really tasty curry which we had with Keema nan. Thank you : )

Orderd here last night food looked alright but chicken smelt abit funny wasn't sure If it was just me but after waking up this morning with stomach cramps and the rest that come with that it's safe to say the wings or lamb have upset my stomach

Very bad customer service. Very rude staff. They expect us to know their price. The owner finds it rude to confirm the order and payment at the end of placing the order. The owner thinks this is the best pizza place in the city but it’s not! There are better places than them! The owner does not know how to speak with customers. I do not recommend buying anything from them!!!

I've been there for the first time only on my travels. I'll get myself a Lamb Donner in Naan. The meet was awful 🤮🤢old, hard and doesn't taste like Lamb at all 🤢 I was so hungry but I couldn't even finish kebab because of the terrible taste 🤮 Not recommended this place for kebab Lamb Donner in Naan 🤢🤮

Ordered a couple of pizzas was told to expect delivery between 35-45 minutes. Called an hour later to get an update and was told driver had already left. One hour and a half later still no sign of any pizza. Called shop again, apparently they cannot contact the driver "as he dosn't have hands free in his car" One hour 45 minutes from placing the order the delivery driver finally arrived. When I asked the driver why the order was so late his explanation was I've delivered multiple orders in different directions, I'm not aware what time customers placed their orders I just deliver closest first irrespective of time of order. According to the driver he left over an hour ago with my food so I assumed the food would be cold, I opened it up in front of him and as I assumed it was stone cold. After giving him an ultimatum either take it away or call up the shop and get the price reduced, he managed to get the price reduced. I reluctantly accepted the order as my children were extremely hungry. The pizzas were reheated in an air fryer and eaten. All I can say I hope the shop takes note from this episode and gets their act together as the pizzas weren't that bad and probably would have been spot on if they arrived hot and in time.

Good price on food, always cooked fresh. Very reasonable price for takeaway with plenty of options to choose from. Managed to feed 2 adults and 5 children and still have change from £35 everyone had adult meals/pizza with chips.

Really disappointed, went there after the multiple good reviews, decided to order a doner kebab and a pizza which was £13 because I decided to pay with card he charged me £14 saying there’s a £1 fee as of paying with card which I was unhappy about, the doner kebab was very plain and dry with no sauce, the pizza was okay but it seemed they were very stingy with the portions of toppings on the pizza, personally wouldn’t visit again.

I would really recommend this place. Piri Piri chicken burger meal is what I had and the flavour was bang on. Their sauces are really good, these guys know flavour and how to add it to a normal takeaway meal. So not just a normal takeaway, worthy to sit next to some restaurant food. We'll done guys for making us welcome.

I am never going to order from this play ever again I ordered this and it came with molddy nan bread and meat I felt mortified and sick when I seen this on my food I’m going to call the food health and safety team tomorrow and get this place shut down for good

I heard about Pizza Mondo from a few friends so I thought I'd give them a try. Never knew they existed. I had the Special Mondo Pizza with the special base and the Piri Piri chicken with the special base. The pizzas tasted excellent. Will definitely be going there again...... The staff are really wonderful as very polite. Highly recommend

I'm from London and have been missing the pizzas from there but in leicester I haven't been happy with the pizzas but pizza mondo, its real good.

We had a fantastic meal today. We had pizza, peri peri chicken, tandoori chicken. Tandoori wings were especially tasty. Highly recommend.

Our favourite place for tarka daal, seekh kebabs and spicy mince pizza. The pizza bases are always so fresh and soft. Perfect all the time, hence why we've been customers for the past 10+ years.

There are limited choices within the Oadby and Wigston area when comes to takeaways. Pizza Mondo has decent and reasonable priced food. They do a good selection of burgers and curries. Pizzas have to the be best, they have a unique taste and ingredients, which make them stand out from others.

I have had a few things from here and have to say the quality is really good and the flavours are very unique, sauces they provide with the food is very unique compared to other takeaways. Everything is cooked fresh and I would personally recommend this place as I have done so to my family members.

We have been ordering from them for years. Lately the service has been appalling. Extremely late, orders have been wrong, and when I phone to try to speak to them about the order, they refuse to speak and hang up as they store customers phone numbers. Much better service from TJ’s, will not be ordering from Mondos’s any time soon!

Love this little restaurant. They make nice wings. The pizza though its really sunu with soft base and lots of cheese BUT the tomato sauce taste like it's off. I think if they changed the tomato sauce it'll be better.

I’ll be completely honest as it’s a local place. Sometimes there food has been decent but majority of the time the food is terrible. The Donner kebab gets trimmed too thick so it’s like we’re eating burnt toast. The Nans are fresh though. The full peri peri chicken has been pre cooked and then frozen. They microwave it before serving it. I found out as my chicken breast was frozen inside. The sauces are good though. The pizzas are too overpriced. Just down the road there’s zebedee pizza which is just as bad but you can pick up 3 pizza for £10. Whereas Mondos will serve 1 for £15. If you ever complain about food the owner takes it personally. As their chip fryer is at the front. It’s an eye saw when they re fry cold chips. Com on guys. Such a good place but bad management won’t let it lift off. The curries are really bad. I’d rather eat my own arm.

Whilst placing a phone order for 2 pizzas whoever I spoke to was rude and dismissive. When I went to pick the food up they had forgotten to make one of the pizzas!! I had to leave with just the one pizza and whilst I was given an apology, I was offered no discount. Poor experience!

My default takeaway if after good Indian food. I drive almost 30 miles to pick it up on a Friday evening. If that isn't 'keen, not sure what is.

The food in this place is either good or terrible depending on your luck. Sometimes they get it right and it's tasty; other times its overcooked, too salty or gives you a tummy ache. The staff are usually friendly - although they are a bit strange... they said they can't add fried onions in the burger even though they have a fully equipped kitchen. The pizza here is probably the best and safest option on the menu.

Love this place. Usually have delivery. Extensive menu and my partner and I have sampled most dishes. The kebab dishes and piri piri chicken are my favourites. I particularly love the home made koftes which have a fantastic ginger flavour.

Sometimes it isn't the most flashiest of places that is up there amongst the best. Pizza Mondo is a true testament to this. I was introduced to this place by someone who likes to save their pennies and very cautious of where they go. In essence, someone who doesn't try anything new! So, I was surprised when they advised of this place and decided to give it a go. The one option recommended was the Mondo Special Mixed Kebab. There are quite a few variations when ordering but I kept it simple asking just for the chilli sauce and mint sauce along with the salad. Other options include garlic mayo and ketchup. Be warned, this thing is huge! If you're exceptionally hungry you might be able to eat it all yourself...! Although it definitely can be shared. So you can ask for the kebab to be cut in half, to share or to eat later. I only managed half... Yep, I'm a lightweight! But, it meant I was able to have another attempt to devour this monstrous kebab. It's a but pricey as far as kebabs go. At just over £7, at the time of writing this, but if you're sharing or eating two separate times its a decent price. Strongly recommend this kebab, so give it a go and see what you think!

Let's be honest this is a kebab shop not a restaurant for fine dining , however , basic cleanliness and hygiene should not be reserved for the higher market , the place is dirty and given the fact that they have an open kitchen the practise of poor standards of cleanliness is open for all to see , don't take my word for it ! See for yourself , I would advise to give it a miss

Food is very fresh and tastes good too. We generally get it delivered or have a take away. Service is very prompt. Staff is very courteous too.

The people who work here are very dishonest. They deliberately overcharged me on the price of the pizza. My advice is to stay away.

We ordered from them at 7.15 on a Saturday night. I understand Saturday's are busy, but they need more staff. When you get told it will be with you within the hour and 2 hours later it turns up after numerous phone calls. The delivery driver then had no signal to ring the shop so said he will give us £3 discount. £3 on 2 hour wait and cold pizza! Lucky we checked the food before he left and was all cold. Which included chips,kebabs and 2 large pizzas. I certainly wouldn't be giving them my buisnesss again!

It's become a bit of a Friday thing with us.. Drive from Corby to Leicester and back, strictly for Mondos takeaway... It's that good.

Tasty food and good value, definitely a gem for oadby. Ordered tikka chicken, wings and pizza, all well flavoured and reasonable portions.

Mondo is the bomb. Have been going for years. Chicken tikka in a naan bread wrap is the best. I'm now a veg so I order paneer tikka wrap and it's just as good. Pizzas are very good, as are the cheesy chips. Highly recommended.

We ordered from Mondo for the first time this weekend, we all tried something different. We felt the prizes were very reasonable and the delivery was swift. The kebab we had was nice but felt the lamb meat was quite tough, however the pizza was amazing. It was really tasty, full of flavour and moreish. We will be ordering again.

Another recommendation from a friend, certainly didn't disappoint, went in only wanting Pizza, but once we got there couldn't leave without ordering other items, Ordered Mexican pizza which had really nice spicy sauce, chicken and chillie pizza, doner in nan, garlic bread, fries, all was scoffed down by the family.

Ordered the tandoori mixed grill, what a delight. Superbly seasoned pieces of grilled meat, cooked beautifully. Enjoyed it very much.
