Best chinese takeaway. I love the salt chilli bean curd. They always make it fresh, deliver really quickly and make it perfectly each and every time

Had a beef curry last night of which more than half went in the bin. This was truly the worst Chinese meal I've ever had - it didn't even taste like curry - more like watered down, processed junk with 2 random slices of carrots and 5 peas thrown in for good measure. Absolutely awful!!!

We placed an order and specified that we’d like 2 of the dishes vegan. They were tofu dishes so were already vegetarian so just needed to know if they had milk or egg in them essentially. Also put in the note to ring me with any issues. They cancelled it immediately without bothering to ring me and when I rang to ask why they had cancelled, they said it was because they were busy and couldn’t be bothered to check the ingredients of our food. I asked them if there was any egg or milk in the tofu dishes to which they responded “we don’t know” and continued to tell me they didn’t have enough time to talk to me and the chef was also yelling at me in the background. Worst part is, this was my first place trying this out… DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE EATING RESTRICTIONS/ALLERGIES as they do not know or care what they put into their food. Disgusting service.

Best chinese food in Leicester. Absolutely delicious, always arrives hot, cooked just how we asked for it to be cooked. Staff always friendly. Highly recommend

Food was excellent and very hot. . Delivery was quick and i was handed the food with smile. First time I've used this takeaway since my return...almost 35 years but the family had takeaway every Sunday when it was hung shing. Cannot recommend highly enough. 😀👍

The food is delicious, fresh tasting, made to order and the staff are friendly...every single time. Very consistent in standard, unlike many other places..also great veg/ vegan options

We always order our Chinese from here. We’ve been using this takeaway for probably a decade. They deliver and we usually have a set menu which is great as you get more choice at a better price. If we have friends or more family visit we just order the set meal for more people. Food always delicious. Thank you.

The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Unfortunately, during the night both my partner and I were ill with food poisoning. Absolutely disgusting!

The oriental star was my go-to for Chinese food! It was good food for a great price! The last order I made I received the wrong dish with prawns (my partner is allergic) so I wasn't overly thrilled about that, having said that mistakes happen from time to time. Generally speaking the food here and certainly, value for money is very good.

Went to order from here using just eat, only to have my order declined. The reason? because the driver did not want to make the 13 minute drive from the restaurant to our house. It's 13 minutes, im sorry but thats just a poor excuse. So even though I have given them 1 star, I should really be giving them non as they are too lazy to even make a delivery.

We order from here fairly regularly and like the food and service we receive. However when we ordered for delivery on Bank Holiday Sunday, we had to wait 95 minutes for the food to be delivered (even though we ordered at 5pm). When the food finally arrived it was soggy and must have been sitting waiting for delivery for a long time. That night, 2 of us who had eaten chicken dishes were unwell. We won’t be ordering from here again.

Just ordered a takeaway from here! Horrendous! Chicken curry? - chicken tinned soup with peas and processed chicken.... Chips- greasy Ribs- dry and inedible Crispy duck- already broken down and no meat just skin Whole thing a wipe out, after waiting an hour for it to arrive.

Our usual was closed... Everything looked good but I had prawns and was very ill within 5 hours Will not go back. And would not recommend them

He tenido varias comidas de aquí, pero por desgracia no he sido muy impresionado. No mis opciones en el menú era lo que esperaba? Por ejemplo... me pidió una noche, pollo con piña y contenía más cebolla y nadar en un sudor y salsa que me desagrada. Nunca se describe de esta manera? Aunque, el pollo y bolas de cerdo son muy agradables.

Sí, esta es la peor comida que he probado nunca. Tuve el requesón picante tailandés de granos de calor y lo hicieron con chile fuente sudor con una botella. No había coco o albahaca y fue sudor en vez si hace calor. El Bean requesón probado duro como si era refried. ¡Qué pérdida de tiempo y dinero.

We order from here regularly and are never disappointed. Usually they deliver in approx. 15 minutes. The food is lovely and good value.
