best chinese takeaway EVER!! refuse to eat anywhere else

We had chilli salt chips, beef in black bean, crispy shredded beef, egg fried rice, capital spare ribs, came to £29 (to feed 4 people) they took card and was ready in 5 mins, and one of the nicest naughty treats we have tasted.

Ordered on just eat, waited for half an hour to receive a text cancelling my order saying they can’t make it. Waste of time don’t even bother. Worst Chinese

Chilli and salt box for £16 is so good and very good value for money!

Food good, order frequently, always pay by card now don't take card at weekends?? Card good enough in the week, glad they are doing well enough. they don't need my money at the weekend. You won't be getting it at all in future.

Nice place to get a Chinese from, The woman behind the till was nice and patient, I ordered a a couple of meals, yes they forgot to put one of the dishes in but returned and they we're very apologizing, and I have returned since happy days!!!!

Literally just bought a Chinese from there and watched a delivery driver slip his sandals off and scrape the crud out of each of his toes roll it into a ball and flick it on the floor and wipe it on the seats! The owner was too busy to care totting up the nights receipts from what id seen, This guys a delivery driver for these people, absolutely shocking! After witnessing that never buying anything from here again

DO NOT GO TO THIS CHINESE! the lady is rude! And aggressive she does not get your order right she delivers you the wrong food then tries to say that’s what you have ordered then refuses to re deliver the correct food and tries to charge you for delivery as she is not even 5 mins down the road but the food is lovely when it’s been delivered correctly

A really arrogant female member of staff works here behind the counter. I asked to speak to the manager/owner, sadly he does not fully understand what you are saying to him. When my order was ready she threw the bag across the counter at me.

Great food, delivered hot good price

Lovely food but I wish they wouldn’t use MSG as it’s unsafe and can make me feel very shaky. They could cook without it but unfortunately they choose not to. I would have scored higher if they didn’t use it but sadly they do.

2 hours kept ringing up to see where the meal was and they wearnt answering and it came 2 hours late we had to wait 120 minutes fuming and not happy they ruined our excitement for our 2021Christmas Chinese really fuming 😡😡 felt betrayed I can’t even say it tasted nice cause’ve how long it took I can’t even say it tasted nice cause’ve how long it took it didn’t taste the same as it usually does when it came because’ve how late it were. Stopped off to get a Chinese however the lady on the front desk was rude and had no manners from the offset. I tried to place my order but was told I couldn’t change more than one meal therefore I ordered the dishes separate. Unfortunately every time she read this back she had my order wrong and began raising her voice, tutting, shaking her head and speaking in a very aggressive tone. I asked her if there was a problem she replied no and then made comments about me under her breath and started shaking her head again. At this point she continued to get my order wrong and despite me staying calm and politely telling her what I would like, she got the menu started underlining words on there for me as I didn’t want and stabbing the pen on the menu. At this point I told her she was rude and it was unnecessary so I didn’t want to place an order anymore for which she persisted to be even more aggressive with the mannerisms and make rude comments about me as I was leaving. The good news is I went to High Gain House just up the road and had a completely different experience they were very polite safe to say I will not be returning to Wigston Chinese in the future.

Excellent great customer service great meal

Would not order from here again, lady on the phone is SO SO rude and was laughing when asking if one dish could be made slightly different. Very sarcastic comments and very horrible towards us. Will be going else where from now one.

We've been ordering from Wigston Chinese for over 30 years so they must be doing something right! Food always hot, on time and delicious - 5 stars all round as far as we're concerned.

Ordered an hour and half ago still waiting for delivery. Apparently on the way. Said that half hour ago.

Couldn't fault it, very tasty and was cooked on time.

Food was perfect! Chicken and Prawn balls were delicious. Singapore Chow Mein was absolutely amazing and the Peri Peri chips are fantastic. Also, the egg fried rice and sauce was to die for😍. I would not go anywhere else, really kind and friendly service and the food was delivered so quickly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!! I 100% recommend.

Extremely rude from the point of answering the phone to the food. Below average food and even lower customer service. If you can’t speak English properly or have any kind of manners then maybe hire someone who can actually speak English rather than shouting at them down the phone. Just remember you need us customers more than we need you. Because there’s thousands of different outlets that we can choose from yet you can pick your customers in order to survive.

Average place with mediocre food and poor service

If I could rate this zero I would and this is purely based on the rude woman that answers the phone. I called to place an order, woman abruptly says ‘too far’ and hangs up. The food could be totally fantastic but I will never order from here and I will tell everyone I know to boycott it. Good customer service goes a long way these days. Lots of complaints about the woman on google too.

The women was constantly rude and kept putting the phone down and this isn’t the first time we’ve had to deal with her rudeness!! We will NEVER go there again!!!! There’s no need for rudeness!! How they have a functioning business is beyond me!!! 😡😡😡😡 Oh and then now we’ve just had a phone call from the bank saying an unauthorised transaction had taken from them!!!! Absolute idiots!!! Not what u want!!! Zero customer service and zero quality!! Check your statements people!!!! Rubbish!!!!!!

My wife got a piece of chicken in her chilli chips, (she's vegetarian) and when I rang to politely let them know what they had done, just for future reference, not to complain as such because I used to work at the place for the previous owner, the woman on the phone all but called me a liar and said I'd not ordered from her shop and was very rude, even after I explained that I wasn't mistaken as I used to work there. So rude that I'll never use the shop again.

I rang to order the woman on the phone was rude and difficult to understand. When i was asking about payment she suddenly hung up the phone.. what great way to treat a customer.

Been working in wigston for about 6 weeks we had been using the Chinese down the road but noticed this one was a bit busier so thought we would try it Me and a work mate went in and ordered the same as we had down the road Both of us agreed the food was ok but would go back to the original one next time This was not due to the food but the most unhappy ignorant misrable sower faced unhelpful rude Chinese woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting At one point I was going to leave and not bother with the food as I felt so uncomfortable and she could of kept her money I see now this is a constant complaint on here It true there will probably be about 15 to 20 people working here from Yorkshire for about 6 months we will not be telling them to go here we will advise them to go to the high gain house as this is far better There loss

Don't order from this Chinese. We have waited two hours for our order and every single time we phoned up the same lady told us it was on its way. I don't even think she checked. What a waste of our money and time!

Love this Chinese. Delivery is always quick. Food is always piping hot and tasty. Love the chilli chips my fave. And they don't add added msg either.

Used to be good, increasingly poor and bland tasting every time I visit. Everything comes in a tasteless, cornflour sauce. Definitely gone downhill.

I've been here a couple times when are usual Chinese is closed. The food is not as good as I would have liked.
