Tipsy Cows in Hyndburn

We booked the cellar room for a get together for my husbands birthday. Pizza, fondue and the most amazing cheese board, followed by karaoke all in our own private wine cellar. We had an amazing time. The staff were great, knowledgeable, friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Really good value for money too.

First time diners last night, and we were blown away by the whole experience. Friendly and knowledgeable service, with time to spare for everyone in the room, staff members being treated like members of the family, great drink selection and outstanding food. You will not be disappointed.

Wow what an experience this place packs a punch huge cheese and cold meat boards and the fondue with freshly baked breads is a must the atmosphere is amazing the cocktails too well worth a visit

We booked a table for 6 for a Christmas gathering with friends and what can I say……best decision we made!! It’s rare to visit a restaurant where the food, service and ambience all hit the highest standards!!! The service was impeccable, the food was amazing and we felt properly looked after evening. In terms of value for money, I’d have paid double!!! If you’re thinking of trying here…do it!! It’s amazing

What a fantastic place. My wife and I visited and received such a warm welcome from the owners. He went for the full cheese experience which started with the most amazing fondue followed by a fantastic cheese board with a wide variety of cheeses. We even had the cheese that we couldn’t finish off wrapped up to take home. There was a wide selection of drinks including cocktails. It certainly won’t be our last visit and we even got a gift voucher for a relative as we know it will be a hit with other family members. Thank you for a great evening

Lovely place, great atmosphere and fabulous cheese selection all beautifully arranged. Staff are friendly and can tell you all about the origins of the cheeses which is very interesting. I highly recommend trying this place.

We went for the first time last night, a party of 6, including our 12 year old daughter. Tipsy Cows is a wonderful venue. The staff are all very friendly, attentive, enthusiatic and efficient. Netty was wonderful with our daughter, who is usually shy with strangers but was having a little chat with Netty almost immediately. Mickii, a cheese master, is extremely knowledgeable about the multitude of cheeses they provide and it was all served beautifully. There was a very generous amount of food served and anything we didn't eat could be taken home. Two of our party have coeliac disease, and they accommodated our gluten free diet with aplomb. The fondue is amazing as were the Italian Ice Cream cheese and the Welsh Miners Charcoal cheese. I highly recommend Tipsy Cows for a unique eating out experience.

The experience was fantastic. The cheeses were unlike any we had ever tasted and Micky was very knowledgeable with his explanations of his cheeses. The cocktails made by the girls were also perfect and made for a really enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely return soon. Thank you so much!

A great dining experience, food,service and atmosphere were spot on,a fabulous selection of beers,and of course cheese,an absolute must for cheese lovers,would definitely recommend and more than worthy of a second or third visit.....well done team Tipsy.

We had the full experience . I cannot express how good it was . From the moment we walked in to the moment we left , it was just excellent . Amazing customer service from each member of staff , the ambience and ofcourse the food. Oh the food . It was delightful . Best night ever . Thanks soooooo much 🩷

This has to be my new favourite spot in the U.K. We were visiting from Ireland and some relatives suggested here. We had the ultimate cheese experience and all I can say is WOW. I liked cheese before but I am totally in love now especially with the stories of the different cheeses. From start to finish it was all amazing. Do not pass this place make sure you stop and enjoy.

Fantastic evening with delicious food. Mickii and Lynette both made us feel so welcome. They both ensure that your visit is special. Mickii even gave us a tour of the building ( it's very old). We will definitely eat here again especially as we now know they can pre order vegan 'cheese'. Thankyou so much for a lovely evening four of us had the full experience and the vegan had nibbles and cocktails (she had eaten earlier) x

Excellent service and very knowledgeable and passionate about the cheese being served. The cheese and meat selection was incredible with some from around the world and some from just round the corner! The wine selection was wonderful, so so many to choose from. We had the full cheese experience and my favourite part was the fondou and bread to dip in. I really, really liked how you could taste some of the wines before purchasing and I’m so glad to have tasted the Astro Bunny wine, it’s one of my new favourites! Fantastic cheese and wine, very attentive hosts, great party room in the cellar. Would recommend for a celebration. Only negative was the Jacob’s crackers and Melba toast didn’t compliment the wide selection of cheese, a variety would have been nice and possibly some fruit, apple pear etc

What a cheesy experience great starter and fantastic meat and cheese board. So much to eat had to admit defeat and got the remainder boxed to go, great hosts pampered to all our need would highly recommend it.

Visited for the 3rd time, but this time with a fussy husband, and we had a great time, my husband especially loved the fondue, so much je wanted to go again thr next day! The staff are very efficient and Micky are very knowledgeable, the cheese selection was 2nd to none and the cocktails were fab, can't wait to visit again

This place is absolutely unbelievable, if you LOVE cheese and gorgeous wine then you will be in heaven. Fabulous atmosphere and super friendly owners who will tell you everything you need to know about your meal, hugely focused on sourcing exceptional produce and as local as possible. You will not be disappointed! Five stars ⭐️ every time from us.
